It took me a while to digest this experience. My expectations were high, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to them.
The food was good, but a week later I can barely recall what I ate, except for the ice cream with olive oil and salt, which stood out as the only truly memorable dish. The wine list is extensive, but I felt the pairings didn’t really complement the courses.
The service was the biggest disappointment. It started with wonderful communication by email to make the reservation. However, in the restaurant, it seemed that not all tables were treated equally. We felt rushed to finish so the staff could seat the next group. They assumed we were done with our mains and quickly asked about dessert, then brought the bill without us requesting it.. and we weren’t late.
The highlight of the evening was the vinyl collection: great music and atmosphere, although it did get a bit too loud at times.
Lastly, we left the restaurant smelling like food, which shouldn’t happen in a place of this level.
Overall: good food but doesn’t justify the price.
