Fresh venue! The theater sound, lighting and size are very intimate, but the seating is steeply inclined modified high school bleachers with limited legroom and 90° seat backs. Very comfortable and ✨CLEAN✨ otherwise! Really enjoyed our date night concert with Hot Brass...fun night!🌴✌️😎🌴

This was a waste of time for real, I visited for The House of Poe's Horrors immersive Poem reading. On Event bright website it was advertised that the event would be an hour and a half. I came nine minutes late due to an uber driver and I asked the employees waiting at the door and elevator if I could still catch the show or if I can wait for the next show. I was told by multiple employees I was good to go and told me to take the elevator to go up to the 2nd floor. I went to the restroom when I saw a line at the event entrance door. When I came back out the line were gone and the ushers sent me in. I liked the haunted horror house, I screamed my head off and cried. The actors made me laugh since there were so much jump scares. The end of the haunted house opened out into a room where the event seating area was held, I looked at my phone for the time. It was 5:15, 15 minutes from the event starting. A preformer came up, said his Poe poem and that was it. 5:30 and the event was done. Three major dings: false advertising for the duration of the event, employees not allowing me to stay for the 5:30 show since I was a few minutes late and they knew there were a 30 minute show, and lastly why the haunted horror house and then the poem performance readings? Strange setup for this event and not what I expected at all. Wont be back. Didnt even take pictures inside I was so annoyed.

Great first time here! Been living in this area for 4 or so years and never been here. The area was clean, the security that was there was so personable and inviting. We were a few minutes late, but a staffer directed us to some open seats. She was friendly! The jazz show was amazing! Thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance and group that performed. Even the host made us feel like anything Pompano was hosting, we needed to make a point to attend. I will be back for other events, especially if the reps are as professional and kind as those working here.

My girlfriend came to visit me for a week. She’s from Philadelphia. When we went to the cultural art center in Pompano Beach two nights. One night was the Carole King tribute. It was terrific and the other one was jazz and that was so good. I would recommend to at least give it a try and you will be surprised. It’s top notch entertainment for nothing!!!!

Yelp
What a great place for a show! Lots of comfortable seating (be warned there are many steps and kind of steep, but they do have helpful hand rails), super friendly staff, drinks and snacks for sale, decent lighting and sound. What more do you need?

Yelp
Visited for an artist talk and Art show by florida artist Anthony Burks. The facility is large featuring multiple areas for venue rental, gallery space, events, and performances. The property is also the location of a county library branch as well as a theater and a government building. The design is modern and its well maintained. Entire staff was friendly and very helping in helping me find where i needed to go. It also is easy to find with plenty of parking.

Yelp
It is a very nice venue- easy parking and right next door to city hall. It is a decent size theatre but a lot of the shows do not fill up at all. The building also houses the public library and the arts and cultural center. I went to see The Secret Comedy of Women" which was fun and interactive with the audience. You can purchase a soft drink or bar drink during intermission, go to their step and repeat or just stay in your seat! Good place to check out that supports cultural events in South Florida!

Yelp
What a great place to have in our community! I went recently to see a play. I didn't even know there was a theater set up in this building and what I found was an intimate theater area with stadium seats so that every seat is a great seat! Given the space is multi purpose, if you come for a different event you may find the seats arranged in a totally different set up, but for this type of "comedy show" that I attended, it was perfect. They also have a mobile bar that you can get beer and wine at before the show and during the intermission. There are also plenty of restrooms located just outside of the theater doors. And parking is also super easy with a big lot out back with FREE parking! Know before you go that while the front faces Atlantic Ave and your GPS will take you there- the entrance and parking is just south of the building. You enter in the middle and walk past the library continuing around to the north side where the entrance is to the venue area. All in all it surpassed my expectations!

Yelp
I really liked this venue. It's easy to get to and parking is ample. As it's brand new, everything is sparkling clean and neat. You walk past the attached library to the entrance facing Atlantic boulevard. The ticket office is downstairs. If you've already purchased your tickets, you can either walk up or take the elevator us to the second floor for the theater. Before the show, and during intermission, they sell water, soda, beer and wine plus snacks right outside. You can wander through the art gallery while waiting to enter as well. The theater itself is changeable. The night we went, there were a few cabaret tables in the very front. Behind them were numbers and tiered seats. It's a relatively small venue -- I think 450, maybe. All are good to see the show. We had excellent seats -- on the end of the second row, in the middle. The sound system was fine. I'd certainly come back to this intimate venue.

Yelp
I was lured in on a Saturday afternoon by the new painted fish out front. I had been meaning to pay a visit but when I saw those fish I had to stop and take some pictures. The exhibit is called "Schools of Art" and they are an installation from the city's public arts program. They are out front until mid May when they will be separated and moved throughout the city. If you are in the area stop by and see them while they are all together because are Instagram worthy. Once I finished my pictures I headed instead to take a look around. To the left of the entrance is the brand new library. I didn't have time to look around but I was told it was state of art with a digital media center with a TV with a green screen and an audio and video recording studio. This is what my daughter is studying in college so we have definite plans to spend some time in there this summer. To the right is the entrance to the cultural center. The first floor had the box office and meeting rooms. The second floor led up a steep flight of steps to a 750 foot art gallery and a 5,000 square foot theater that hosts dance, music, and theater performances. It's free to look around the art gallery and tickets for the theater can be purchased downstairs atthe box office. The Cultural Center is a great addition to the arts in Pompano. After your visit here you can take a walk across the street to BaCA to see artists at work. I love that Pompano is expanding it's art offerings. I look forward to taking in some performances this summer.

Yelp
This is a Beautiful modern building that has recently been built in our neighborhood. Part of the building is our new public library the other part is our art and cultural center which has many different events during the year such as plays and concerts. My family and I are avid readers so I choose to go to different libraries purchase books and then go to a different library and donate them back for others to enjoy. There is plenty of free parking in their new parking lot. They also have different workshop activities for adults and children. One of the workshops is becoming an American documentary film and discussion series on our immigration experience. They invite local authors to come and spotlight their work. Come visit our new center and you will enjoy it as much as we do.

Yelp
This is a fairly new Art & Event Center. It's a beautiful architectural building. They have many great activities for kids and adults. They have the nice stage for all their lives show performances they have throughout the year. There's plenty of free parking for everyone and it's easy accessible from 95 and Atlantic Boulevard.I've been to a couple events here that were nice.I'm going to try and go to one of there live performances soon. So glad Pompano Beach built this new center it adds more entertainment to the city.

Yelp
Brand new cultural center across the street for the city hall. They have a very nice small live theater on the 2nd floor with an art gallery in the lobby featuring local artists. We saw Hedwig & the angry inch.
