Why the loss of buffet chains like Sweet Tomatoes hits hard for Asian Americans | Eater SF
"Over the past decade Ponderosa, along with other well-known buffet chains, has filed for bankruptcy and cut locations as diners have shifted toward more Instagrammable and health-conscious alternatives, leaving the buffet industry in dire straits even before the pandemic." - Anthony Kao
Been living here for over a year, I'm very happy with the neighbors, management and maintenance. Summer time can be a little loud because everyone enjoys the pools but other than that it's a nice place to live. Will recommend it

Lived here back in 1996. I was pregnant with my son and this was where we brought him home from hospital. At the time, my dad worked right down the street (17th/Cabrillo). The place then was ran by Ozzie. It wasn't too bad but the building always felt crammed and too close together.
