I had a dinner with my bosses in this restaurant and it was really a good experience. The ambience of the room especially the lightings are really nice. The people are very accomodating and nice. All the dishes are gastronomically amazing it gives the senses a well deserved satisfaction.

For context, I have been to Rome, Florence, Venice, and Milan. My partner and I have traveled around the world and eaten Italian food across the planet. My father lived in Rome growing up. I also understand this place is popular with locals. I typically go out of my way to not overly-criticize and hurt the reputation of restaurants I review while travelling. All that being said... This was some of the worst Italian food I have eaten. It was also one of the poorer "fine dining" experiences as well. 1) Almost every dish we had completely missed the mark. Out of the six courses we had, only two were genuinely good (one being the beef pasta, the other being the bonito + egg dish). The other four ranged from underwhelming to borderline inedible (the only one being this extreme was the squid pasta, which was extremely bitter for some reason). 2) Service was a mixed bag. Server was extremely kind and accommodating, but service was SLOW. This place had two other parties besides us, so there was, quite frankly, no excuse. It's one thing to go to a restaurant and have one bad dish - it's another thing entirely when nearly every dish served is bad, while also being very expensive. This is an aside, but I also felt an air of pretentiousness here and no real authenticity. I did not take that into account in this review, however.

Without doubt this is one of the best restaurants in the world. I have eaten at some of the top restaurants in the major cities of the world and without doubt this meal was one of the top five and that is saying something. I could have eaten it all three times over. Great service, brilliant tastes, right sized portions, no jarring flavours, great value, innovative, brilliantly executed, all round wonderful. Thank you.

久しぶりにディナーで訪問しました。 最近ラインナップされた前菜、パスタ、メインのお手頃なプリフィックスのコースでの利用です。相方とは違うメニューを注文できるので、色々楽しめます。またこうしたお店によくありがちなオプション料金は設定されておらず、基本どれを注文しても価格が一緒なのも良心的です。 特に今回注文した中では、お馴染みの鮎のコンフィ、赤牛のカルパッチョ、鱧とウイキョウのリングイネ、うなぎと茄子のスキャッチャータが絶品でした。中でもパスタはデフォルトがボッタルガ添えのオイルソース系でしたが松茸とトマトの仕立てにも変更できるとサジェストされたのでそちらを注文しました。これがかなり大当たりで、松茸の香りとトマトの旨みが融合した満足度の高い一皿に仕上がっていました。 ワインはおまかせ4種でオーダーしましたが、料理のタイミングに合わせてとても美味しいワインをチョイスしていただきました。 以前訪れてから店内の様子やお料理など、大きな変化は感じられませんでしたが、微妙に覇気というか格調の高さというかそうしたものが薄れているような気がしました。おそらく店員さんの所作によるところが大きいような気がしますが、そこだけは少し気になりました。 いずれにしても大切な人と訪れてお食事を楽しむには間違いのないお店だと思います。 また利用させていただきます。 ごちそうさまでした。
