These Are the Best Temecula Valley Wineries to Visit

"The Spanish Mission-style building that greets you gives way to a rustic-American, barn-style winery, all of it sleek and new-seeming at this well-funded winery and inn." - Richard Nalley

The Best San Diego-Area Wineries to Visit | Eater San Diego

"Ponte’s pretty tasting room and adjacent hotel are set on a 300-acre vineyard in the heart of Temecula wine country. Grape growers in the region since 1984, the Ponte family are considered boutique producers with a classic line of single grape varieties — cabernet sauvignon, chardonnay, sangiovese — plus blends, bottles of bubbly, and dessert wines like sweet white moscato." - darlene-horn

The food at the restaurant was delicious. The Brussels sprouts appetizer is one of the best I’ve had. I had the scallops and saffron risotto and it was divine. One friend had the eggplant rollatini and that was delicious. The other friend had the beef and it was so tender. I do agree with the other reviews who say the wine tasting pours are a little light but the pourer was friendly. The wine wasn’t real memorable but the grounds of the winery are gorgeous. The place has a relaxing vibe and we really enjoyed our time.

⭐ 3.5/5 – Decent Wines, Sometimes Light Pours This winery offers decent wines, but it’s not one of the top spots in the area. The wine is good, but nothing special—it’s drinkable, but sometimes the pours can feel a little light for the price. 🍷 The Wine: 3/5 The wines are fine but underwhelming. You get what you expect, but it doesn’t go above and beyond. The pour sizes can be a bit light, which makes it feel like you’re not getting the value you might expect for the cost. 🍽️ The Food: N/A There’s no food available here, which is a bit of a downside for those looking to spend a longer time at the winery. 🛎️ The Service: 3.5/5 The staff is friendly, but at times the experience can feel a bit rushed. It’s efficient, but lacks the personal touch that makes a great winery visit feel more special. 🏡 The Atmosphere: 3.5/5 The setting is nice—clean, well-maintained—but it doesn’t have the charm or warmth of some of the more intimate wineries in the area. It’s a good spot for a quick stop, but not the place for a cozy or memorable experience. 💰 The Verdict: Good, But Not Exceptional ✅ Decent wines ✅ Efficient service ✅ Good for a casual stop ❌ Pours can feel a little light for the price ❌ No food options ❌ Lacks a memorable atmosphere Would I come back? Maybe, but I’d try other places nearby first. There are better wineries in the area with more character and better value.

The one thing I noticed when I first visited Temecula, there are winery shops all over the city. Therefore, we felt that it’s only fitting to try wine tasting at least once before leaving the city 💯. We ended up doing this in Ponte Winery and it was a great decision. I thought this place was well maintained and the customer service was great! The pricing was also very reasonable. We got to try 6 different wines for just $30 per person 🍷👌🏼. It was definitely worth it. This place is more than just wine tasting, there is a pretty wedding venue through the backdoor. My girlfriend ended up spending an hour just taking pictures there 📸😂. I totally recommend this place if you are wine lovers.

Went there for my birthday dinner. The steak and shrimp was great. Kids Max n cheese and burger were a hit. My halibut was a bit dry but the saffron sauce was heavenly! The couscous was delicious. The spinach was ok. I know it is not the biggest but they asked me if it was a special occasion and I replied to three different people that it was my birthday but they didn’t really do anything about it. It would have been nice to have them just sing happy birthday! Oh well, I guess I don’t recommend her if you want to feel special on a special day. But the food was good and the view was beautiful.

We had the most incredible wedding at Ponte Winery in early October 2024, and we honestly can’t recommend it enough! The Spanish-style architecture was absolutely stunning, with its warm, rustic charm perfectly complementing the breathtaking views of the vineyard. The grapevines were just starting to turn, adding a beautiful touch of fall color that made the whole place feel like a dream. From the gorgeous outdoor ceremony spot to the lovely reception area, every corner of the venue felt like it was straight out of a fairytale. A huge thank you to Carly, the wedding coordinator, who made everything so effortless for us. From our first meeting, she was organized, reassuring, and just really on top of everything — we felt totally supported throughout the entire process. On the big day, Carly made sure everything ran smoothly, so we could just enjoy ourselves without a worry in the world. The food and wine were amazing, the staff was so friendly and attentive, and we had so many guests tell us how great everything was. Thanks to Ponte Winery and Carly, our wedding day was everything we had dreamed of and more.

This place is massive. The tasting room is huge. As you walk to the back, you’re greeted with a nice outdoor space but first, walking past the outdoor dining room. Tons of places to sit. We sat upstairs overlooking the garden. They didn’t have much sweet wines so I opted for a glass of moscato. The moscato was more sparkling than flat. My friend, who is a member got Beverino which was extremely sweet like a dessert wine. I probably would have gotten that had I tasted it first. They don’t allow pets. However they allow children in the restaurant which was why she became a member. We brought light snacks to munch on.

Loved it, very peaceful and beautiful. The aroma in the air smells like the flowers and grape vines. We went to the wine tasting room and tried 6 different wines for $30. My favorite was the Super T. (Cabernet). The person that helped us was super nice. We bought 3 bottles to take home. The winery grounds are well taken of.

Yelp
I was thoroughly impressed with Ponte Winery. When you drive up, the property is massive, beautiful, and clean! I found the restaurant right away amongst the vines and pretty roses. The outdoor patio setting was absolutely stunning! All tables have shade, and they have misters!! It was in the 90s, so the misters were very much appreciated! I saw a few couples checking out the venue for a potential wedding site; I say yes, go for it!! Our waitress, Ashlee, was on point!! Kudos to her, wonderful customer service! I ordered a wine flight and Ashlee helped me pick out great wines. I loved them so much we ended up buying 3 bottles!! Lunch started with fresh bread with a thick dip that was so yummy! My friend ordered the eggplant dish, and I had the steak and shrimp. Both entrees were so fresh and delicious. We highly recommend both!! After our lunch, we walked over to the tasting room where they had such cute souvenirs, and lots of wine for purchase. I love everything about this winery and can't wait to return.

Yelp
We had a whole four days in Temecula and we came here last because it's only open on weekends and because my friend recommended it she said it was her favorite when she was in Temecula so we had to give it a try and I am glad we did! Out of all the wineries I went to that week. This was the only one where I liked all of the samples of wine that I tried and I wanted a bottle of each one. So that was interesting. I even liked the sweet ones! The lady serving us in the tasting room Was amazing, shout out to Tiffany! I was going to buy a couple bottles anyway of my favorite because that's what I do since I had a car and would not have to check a bag and that way I would remember what I like and that's when she told me that I might as well become a member because to become a member, all you have to do is buy two bottles and then do it again in October and December and then I can continue after that or I don't have to. Good sales tactic! So now I am a member of Ponte winery! I love that you can get 20% off the dining 20% off the hotel and when I come back, I can get free samples or a glass of wine and can enjoy the pool free of charge . The gift shop is really nice very pretty! Outside in the vineyard it's really pretty as well! I love the venues! I do love the Members Only area now as well. So pretty great service and I loved all the wines that I tried. These are the ones that I had; Bubbly Moscato Vernaccia Nera Cabernet Franc Beverino Bianca Beverino NV Late Harvest Obviously, I will be back!

Yelp
We enjoyed birthday celebration for my sister at Ponte Winery in Temecula, CA. We had our own private room which was nice. This was my first time at Ponte Winery and really enjoyed our lunch and wine tasting. We had the following: -Rib bye steak, seafood pasta, lamb chops, and salmon plate. For dessert, loved the mango, raspberry and lemon sorbet with fresh strawberries and blueberries. This was the perfect dessert for the hot weather in the area. The vineyard is huge with outdoor dining with beautiful views of the gardens and vineyard fields depending which section you sit at. The service was great! Check it out next time you're in Temecula. Happy Yelping :)

Yelp
Had the best time at the restaurant! Went with my mom for my birthday and Jessica took care of us. She was friendly and knew her wines and really made our time so much fun. Ponte is blessed to have her on staff. She is a gem!

Yelp
Every Temecula visit starts at Ponte when we visit the wineries. We arrived a bit later than our usual time at around 11:45 and the crowd started to build from noon on. We chose to sit on the open deck and the way the clouds covered the sky the subtle sun that did get through was not overwhelming. It was perfect winery weather. After having our members tasting we decided to head to the next stop. The restaurant had no wait time when we walked in and at 1 p.m or so the wait ensued so we opted to have lunch next time. The wine was top class (as expected) and I cannot wait to return again soon!

Yelp
It was a good vibe here, we were already staying at Ponte Inn so they gave us free tickets to wine taste at their winery. I liked the wine, but I didn't enjoy the tasting experience as much because it was all standing. I definitely like their sister winery Bottaia more! The service was decent, there was a lot of people though so it did take a bit of time.

Beautiful winery! Attended the Grape Stomping Festival!! Amazing wine and food! Staff was friendly and very accommodating!

Yelp
We had made a reservation a few hours before and arrived at 2:30. We were sat promptly in an amazing room with a large 9 person table. Service was great! I didn't run out of water at any point. Everyone loved their wine. I ordered the Caesar salad with steak kabobs. The salad was amazing and the flavor of the steak was very good, but there was a ton of fat in every bite that I was unable to swallow. The croutons though, by far the best!

Yelp
A magical evening at ponte winery for my nieces wedding celebration during sunset hour. Flowers lined the walk way up to the arch where the ceremony took place. Seating was in the grass, which was nice however the grass was wet and my heels were sinking (not a good combo). The ceremony was about half an hour and then we moved over to the cocktail hour which was in the courtyard which had some bench seating and tables for mingling around. They turned on the big heaters all around as the night started to get a little chilly. The reception was in an inclosed room with tables and chairs around the dance floor. A sweets table and the bar were off to the side and a Photo Booth in the corner. A fun and intimate setting to make this wedding exactly what my niece wanted and the staff was so accommodating the whole time we were there. Now the food: pre planned meals for the wedding which was either chicken or steak but they had options for people with allergies. I got a mixed green salad and gluten free pasta with veggies which came out hot and had flavor. I like how the winery has an allergy menu for the wedding guest if needed. Also note the wine was really good from this winery. We were able to pick from a few varieties from whites to reds, I had Sangiovese which was closes to a Cabernet. It was a little sweet and smooth, the way I like my wine to go down. Restrooms: were outside in what looked like a little small cottage, really cute but really cold outside when you had to use the restroom as there wasn't one in the reception room. Also note, if you plan on wearing heels to this place the cement changes to different textures; uneven stone, pebble cement, sand/dirt in the tasting area and so forth.

Yelp
Uniqueness: Decent wines but the experience doesn't stand out Wait Time: *** (Usually quick, but can get busy) Food Quality: N/A (No food options) Service: *** (Friendly but sometimes feels rushed) Setting: *** (Nice but not particularly memorable) Cost: *** (Fair, but not the best value for the wine) This winery is fine, but nothing exceptional. The wines are decent, but some pours feel a little light for the price. It's a solid option for a casual visit, but if you're looking for something more unique, you may want to check out other wineries in the area. The service is friendly but can feel rushed, and while the setting is nice, it doesn't leave a lasting impression. It's a good place for a group visit, but I wouldn't call it a standout experience. Overall, this winery is just okay. The wine is drinkable, but for the price, I expect more--especially when some pours are smaller than I'd expect for the cost.

Yelp
I had the opportunity to spend some time today at Ponte winery and I felt very happy just by looking at the wondrous landscape and listening to the birds singing. It was truly joyful! What a nice jewel with fragrant roses everywhere. The gardens are so elegant and the hotel you would not think was built just in 2012, you feel like was there since the a Spanish revival style. Well done! Vineyards, olive trees, roses...this is the perfect scenario for a wedding for sure. Not sure if you can do picnics here, I saw the setting was more restaurants but no outside picnic tables for snacks you can buy at the gift shop for example. I have tried Ponte wines so many times, now it was time to know from where it came from!

Yelp
Memorial day Sunday was overly crowded but fun. You almost have to fight over seating but people don't stay too so it rotates eventually. Another venue that allows pets which was nice, plenty of space just need to be patient. The food looked good didn't get a chance to try. We had the white wine which was nice, liked it better than their cabernet. Live music also a plus. You basically wait in a short line pick your wines and find a spot. Great for groups, we came with 8 and was just enough seating!

Yelp
The Ponte experience is absolutely amazing! Please be aware that you will NOT be able to use tasting from the same day you sign up for a membership! Please be aware of this if you're coming to wine taste that you won't be able to actually use your membership on tastings until the following day, but you can use your membership discount on bottles. Pretty unfortunate but after you come back for a second visit, it will pay off. The bar down below it's absolutely the best place to enjoy a glass of wine and be completely disconnected from the real world since you don't have cell service. :)

Yelp
Scenery is beautiful Food is great at the restaurant most of the time I've been coming here for years... prior years i felt the entire vibe at this winery was better than current. Unfortunately being a member is really not worth it when it comes to the members area. The cheese board was expensive there and was in a paper box. Less food in it, terrible presentation. Nothing special about it, small room not lavish The regular tasting room is way better looking. No babies allowed is rly unfortunate. I understand no kids but a small baby that has to be next to their mom at this time is really sad to tell ppl no. The baby got hot on Mother's Day being sent outside with my husband mid tasting. So i rushed so we could leave earlier than i wanted bcuz he got kicked out ... 2 month old baby .. so unfortunate especially on Mother's Day Really sad. They need to do better for the members area. Food is 8/10 Wine is 8/10 Staff service - hit and miss 6/10 Members area 5/10 (just bcuz it's pretty) Members menu 2/10 - terrible quantity and presentation I think i may cancel my membership

Yelp
We came here as guests of some friends, who are wine club members. We did a wine tasting of sorts... by ordering a Three Varietal Flight at the restaurant, along with some individual selections. Our friends offered their ideas and everything turned out great. We chose the 2019 Sangiovese, 2020 Angry Wife Red (yes, that's the name), 2019 Bottaia Barbera, 2022 Chardonnay and 2022 Moscato. We shared, tasted and then decided to buy a bottle of the Sangiovese to take home. Mind you these aren't wines you would lay down or let age. But they are very drinkable and tasty. If you ever have a chance of doing this here at Ponte, I would certainly recommend it.
google avatar

Yelp
the winery itself is beautiful with plenty of options for seating to enjoy your wine while looking out at the vineyard. the service is friendly and quick. we waited about 30 minutes to be seated for lunch on a sunday afternoon. food came out quickly and were surprisingly large portions!

Yelp
So much beautiful scenery. Had the pleasure of getting to photograph a surprise proposal. This winery is very special to the couple as it was Nick's late Mother's favorite winery where she was a member. Ponte has beautiful wine and their property looks like a mini getaway in Italy. Definitely a place worth visiting and spending some time. It was lovely. This couple had their famiky and best of friends celebrate this proposal and immediately joined one another over the lovliest wine and elevated food.

Yelp
The reserve room was open for wine members only and we were stoked to have dodged the line and chaos from the main room to sip wine leisurely with the misters on and or enjoy AC. There was an additional bar outside serving beers and cocktails on the terrace. We loved the vibe today and happy to return again on the weekend.

Yelp
Restaurant ambiance is super romantic, recommended to come during the evening. Reservations were packed so highly recommend placing reservation, seating is all outdoors but they have heaters. Service was a little slow at first since it took 10-15 min for our water and complimentary bread to come out. For food my fiance got the pizza ($23) , I got the bolognese ($30) and calamari ($22) appetizer to share. For drinks we got the 3 wine flight $20. Although initial service was slow food came out quickly. The wine was solid, pours were generous. Complimentary bread-was fluffy and fresh, the green sauce on side was bomb! (9/10) Calamari-fresh and good crunch, sauces were good but the calamari itself was salty (7/10) Bolognese-generous with meat, noodles were aldente but a bit too salty, good tomato flavor (8/10) Sausage Pizza-too much topping and bit too doughy (5/10) Some of the foods were hit and miss but the atmosphere is romantic and perfect for date night.

Yelp
This is a beautiful hotel lobby and we are so excited to explore the hotel. We joined the wine club which I highly recommend!! Check in is easy and relaxing with 2 glasses of moscato We have a gorgeous room with a vineyard view!!

Yelp
What a sweet place to try some wine. I didnt see any food service. But the tasting was amazing. The service was great they were very familiar with their wine. They also have swag if your looking so buy some stuff. Nice open space.

Yelp
We came here for dinner and if happened to be a rainy day, so didn't get much chance to walk around the winery but heard it's one of the most beautiful ones in Temecula. The restaurant is mainly outdoor with cover and heaters, so the rain and the wind didn't bother us at all during dinner. We ordered the salmon cakes, Brussels spouts and mussels to share and all were fantastic. I ordered a halibut for dinner, but the passion fruit sauce was too sweet for me; overall, the dish was a little bland. But the ingredients was fresh though.... Desserts were all wonderful, we ordered pretty much one of everything on the menu and they were all very yummy without being too sugary.
google avatar

Angela B.

Yelp
Although the wait to receive our food took awhile , we felt the food here was very pretty good for a winery. We ordered the Caesar salad with anchovies and grilled chicken. The chicken was slightly overdone thus the four stars but the free appetizer bread they gave to us was delicious (tomato basil focaccia) which was fluffy soft and served with a scallion dipping sauce. If they sold that by itself, I'd buy some
google avatar

Holly R.

Yelp
We waited 30 minutes to sit in the outside patio. We ordered the white pinot grigio and the sparkling Moscato, both were very good and complimented our meal. The Caesar salad 10/10, traditional, shaved parmesean, handcrafted dressing, croutons, and anchovies! Excellent and enough to share. The scallop entree was 10/10, seared perfectly, on a bed of pea and corn risotto, with delicious sautéed carrots, squash, and zucchini. This is one of the best redentions we've tried. The sirloin steak kabobs and shrimp entree was 6/10, served with sautéed new potatoes (a bit under done) corn, and heirloom cherry tomatoes, the potatoes seemed more like a breakfast side. The steak was medium, a bit dry with some rare pieces (what I ordered), the shrimp were over cooked and the Cajun sauce seemed out of place. It was a letdown compared to the scallops. I wouldn't recommend this dish. We tried the choclate pot du creme, served with two small lemon anise cookies, this was decadent and takes care of your chocolate cravings. It was a large serving, more than enough to share. Our server, Megan deserves a 10/10 for exceptional service and a bonus! She handled two tables of 8 people, along with a four top and three two tops. The patio is nice between the tasting room and gardens, it was in the 90's, but they have misters and ceiling fans to keep it decently comfortable. Thanks for a nice Sunday daycation.

Yelp
I've stayed at a hotel before, and it was very good, so I went to the winery this time. The inside of the store was very comfortable and smelled very good. The customer service at the wine tasting was also very kind, and I was able to try various wines in a good mood. After that, I went to the restaurant. But it was hard to wait for an hour and a half. The server at the restaurant was very pleasant, and the food was very delicious. The presentation, taste, and quantity were all perfect. I would like to visit again with my family soon.

Yelp
Roni was the sweetest during mine and my friend's tasting. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and open to chat when we wanted to. Really appreciated her friendliness. She's a girls girl and it's the perfect way to be a part of someones's experience at Ponte. Thank you Roni!!

Yelp
Delicious lunch, great wine, and I was blown away by the entire team who came to my aid when my car battery died. Turns out Luke from maintenance is actually the head wine maker - what a great and helpful guy.

Yelp
Came to Ponte for a quick bite and drinks. They have a nice patio in the back with misters. Very relaxing, great selections of wine to choose from. Their free bread is really good along with their Calamari. Was a bit disappointed with the Brussel Sprouts, they are all over the place and not whole, was a struggle to enjoy. Service was definitely great.

Yelp
Comp bread was good. The cioppino was too tomato forward but had good taste. The soufflé was good and the moscato was a "win." Our server was on point and really nice. The weather did not cooperate. It was too cold.

Yelp
Such a beautiful winery/hotel. The food and wine are excellent! We loved it so much we booked a room for a future trip.

Yelp
Really good restaurant. The wine flight was a great deal for 20$ the place itself was beautiful and rustic. The gift shop was well curated. For the food itself, the bread course was probably the best I've ever had. So fresh and perfect and the oil was to die for. I got the seafood pasta which has a super delicious sauce and the noodles were great. Unfortunately all the seafood in the pasta was overcooked and rubbery. That was the only downside. Everything else was excellent.

Yelp
A friend of mine wanted to go to get some wine! Sooooooo being the planner that I am, we agreed on a date. A few days prior to the trip, I did a quick search on Temecula, and Ponte Winery pops up as the largest winery in Temecula. According to their website, Ponte Winery is surrounded by nearly 300 acres of mature vineyards. They have farmed their vineyards since 1984, opened winery in 2003, became innkeepers in 2012, and have become the benchmark for great service! My friends and I went for their Wine Tasting (6 tastings for $30 (1 ounce each)). My personal favorites are: - Super T2019 - Pinot Noir - 20th Anniversary Blend - Beverino Bianco - Port (Obviously!) - our host also had small pieces of chocolate on hand too! After the tasting, I had booked a reservation at the Restaurant at Ponte. I tried their Steak & Shrimp and my friends ordered their Beef & Risotto. And we ordered more wine obviously, our favorites from the Wine Tasting earlier in the day. Everything was perfect. Vibe was cool. On next trip, I will try again to see if we can get a wine tour, which I was unable to book for this trip.

Yelp
In my opinion best Red Wines in Temecula. The restaurant is good, can be hit or miss with their menu selections. The Inn at Ponte is amazing! Their beds are like sleeping on a cloud and the restaurant at the Inn might be best kept secret. Amazing breakfast, brunch and dinner options and typically alway available for seating because everyone goes to the main restaurant. Also live band in the bar beneath the INN on weekends.

MaDonna W.

Yelp
We had a birthday/anniversary dinner at Ponte. I have to say I was a little disappointed when we arrived, and there was no decorations outside in the tent that we were eating in . It was very bland very boring. Nothing on the table. Nothing that would be reminiscent of a Christmas holiday. We enjoyed the scallops and the beet salad . I don't know if we would come back here. The hype was that it was really beautiful and I think in the middle of the day it is beautiful looking out but at night time . You are corralled under the tent, not very special.

Ethan D.

Yelp
This is my unhidden gem in all of Temecula Valley! The sparkling red wine is truly one of a kind--you won't find it anywhere else. We got hourglasses full of it and enjoyed strolling around the beautiful property.

Yelp
I've been here a couple of times. Sitting outside in wine country is simply beautiful. The vibe is truly relaxing and peaceful. However, for me, the food just doesn't hit. It's ok, but it's not worth the hour drive for me. On the other hand, my husband is simply enamored with the food and would say 5 stars all the way. I got the seafood pasta this round and it was unfortunately really bland. The calamari was fried too hard. The bread may have been the best thing I ate, very tasty and loved that sauce. The cheesecake desert was also tasty. Service was good. Pro-tip: This place generally has a long wait, but you can go to yelp and hop on the waitlist. We hopped on the waitlist when we were about 30 minutes out and were seated right away.

Yelp
Came here for a corporate dinner. The staff was very attentive and the wine was delicious. The property is very nice. Make sure to take a stroll and take the beauty. Restaurant, tasting room and hotel all in one. Big groups or small are all welcomed.

One of our usual stops when coming to Temecula, beautiful gardens and great members deck was just put in with an awesome view of all the vineyards and mountains. They have a good selection of wines to choose from and love the gift shop inside, right now it's filled with cute Christmas decor and feels really festive! Service is usually good, nothing remarkable or over the top but nice, would recommend to check out the grounds, it's the best part!

Yelp
The food was amazing! The bread was so delish! The polenta was crisp on the outside but still flavorful. The ciopinno was delish. The service was ok. Could be better but they were pretty busy. The ambiance was amazing! A great place to help a venue for a wedding.

Yelp
Great girls day out the grounds are beautiful. Joel was the best, he had a lot of interesting information for the wines that I tested. The wait for the restaurant was an hour and 30 minutes so my recommendations are to make your reservations for the restaurant before you do your pairing. A great time with great people and great wine definitely will be back !

Yelp
We've come here many times and always great food and ambiance. Food quality is outstanding as well. Can get a bit hot in the summer so get a shady spot.

Yelp
Stopped in for some appetizers and their wine flight. Both were very good. Would definitely like to go back and explore the place further. Friendly and attentive staff.

Yelp
Our first time tasting at Ponte, and it was a nice experience. Service (5/5) Joel was serving us at the bar. He quickly greeted us and made us feel welcomed. We told him it was our first time, so he took a moment to tell us a little about the winery, restaurants, bar, and wine club. No pressure to sell us, and he was very personable. Wines (3/5) The wine was good, but not fantastic. We tried most of the menu, and the whites were just not hitting the mark. The reds were definitely better & we walked away with a bottle of their 20th anniversary. There just wasn't a lot of depth of flavor until you got to some of these higher quality reds. I also liked the Pinot noir. Ambiance (4/5) Couple things stood out that didn't give it a 5 - where are the holiday decorations outside? The bar is really gorgeous inside, but unless you're a member and can sit on the deck, there isn't a good look at this incredible view. The indoor bars are surrounded by a boutique/gift shop, which is fun, but eliminated any other areas inside to sip besides standing at the bar (no seating). Ponte does have some of the most beautiful grounds though, and we look forward to trying the restaurant!

Yelp
No answer when calling for reservation. Response said leave message and they'd call back. Never heard from them and called back twice and left additional messages. Nothing. Decided to take a chance and drive over. Got to restaurant and hostess couldn't care less. Said to go to tasting room and they'd call us once they cleared a table. 20 minutes of horrible wine and blank look assistance at tasting bar and no message we go back to little miss care less. Still waiting for group to leave. Plenty of tables in sight. We left. Some restaurants don't understand they're in the hospitality business. This place is the pinnacle of that. Our group would have generated a minimum of $500 in revenue. Who cares says Ponte. We'd rather be aloof, uncaring, and serve an overpriced product that is the wine version of their service ethic. Don't waste your time. Just terrible. Management, teach your staff to give a shit.
