Poons Hibachi Grill

This was my first time trying this place & it did not disappoint! I looked at the reviews for several places & decided to give this one a try. The owner fixed my food & it was flavorful & had nice portions. I will definitely be back. I ordered the chicken & steak combo with a side of fried chicken dumplings. The whole building is full of black owned businesses! Go support!

I am beyond speechless with the professionalism and the FOOD!! Thank you for being so sweet to us, we absolutely will be back. And thank you for the freebies because it was my baby’s birthday. The hibachi is to die for and the chicken egg rolls you surprised us with OMG!!! and the kool aid sweet mother of god. Thank you again so much see you soon. Yall gotta go check them out!!!

Had a situation where I swiped my card for my food yet the cashier did not complete the transaction.. so was unaware and instead of reaching out in a professional way this business owner posted a picture of my boyfriend on social media trying to embarrass him for their mistake. I didn’t even realize the payment hadn’t went through HE EVEN TIPPED ! So yeah they may be getting sued soon for defamation. I wouldn’t recommend eating there either the food is GARBAGE who uses uncle Ben’s rice in hibachi anyway.

I hope that wasn’t your family that was the opener if so she ignored a potential customers I’m a female it wasn’t even we she ignored a man twice in his work uniform idk if that’s your family but POON WHO EVER THAT LADY WAS FIRE HER SHE CARES NOTHING ANOUT YOUR BUSINESS AHE WASNT WARM SHE WASNT INVITING SHE WAS QUITE DISGUSTING AND YES IT WAS AFTER 12pm don’t have family running your business I hope that wasn’t your family. If so, I will be embarrassed to call somebody like that. My family member is gonna treat customers like that during an opening. Is she talk nasty? It’s not inviting. Keep her in the back making that fool on the grill. She need not to deal with none of your customers. And it’s cool cause my man was about to buy 3 meals I’m sure yal get plenty of customer but you won’t be getting us when ever we see her in there WHO WOULD WANT SOME ONE WITH A NEGATIVE FUNKY DISPOSITION TO COOK THEIR FOOD GET RID OF HER AND I’M SO PASSIONATE ABOUT THIS BECAUSE I CALLED WHEN WE LEFT OUT AT 12:22 TO ASK WHAT TIME Y’ALL OPEN BECAUSE I WAS TRYING TO SEE WHY SHE KEPT IGNORING MY MAN AND SHE WAS STILL NASTY OVER THE PHONE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS GIVE HER THE BOOT OR PUT HER IN THE BACK FAR BACK

Good was great! Nice price & portions. I ordered a chicken and steak combo with a side of fried chicken dumplings, which is covered in sweet chili sauce. Very delicious.

I came from out of town and made my way over for a lamb bowl. The food here is so good and flavorful. The portions are generous and you receive service with a smile. There was a small mishap with my order but Rhonda (sp) went out of her way to fix it. I appreciate that. I can't wait until I'm back in Detroit so that I can visit again. -Sizzle The DJ

I did not care for the portion size and the food was okay. A chicken. Bowl and a cream cheese roll $35 dollars.

Food was delicious and the amount of food in my combo is great.
