"Pop is a recent addition to Brixtons dynamic culture, an area built entirely of old shipping containers with a determination to embrace exciting, new independent start ups and small businesses locally. You are spoilt for choice on where to eat and drink- our particular favourites are âKoiâ for delicious Japanese ramen, âMissâs Pâsâ for mouthwatering smoked bbq, âHookâ for their inspiring jerk seasoned battered fish, and âPort Authorityâ for tasty craft beers all brewed in London. A social enterprise with good food, good drink and great vibes!" - Eley Kishimoto
"On top of eating, sleeping, working, exercising, socialising, and attempting not to forget your own motherâs birthday, social media has added âcontemplate whether this attractive stranger wants to meet up to infiltrate your LinkedIn contacts or date youâ to your daily agenda. Thanks team. Your best option in this situation is Pop Brixton, a complex of converted shipping containers that serve everything from tapas, burgers, and pizza, to beer and cocktails. Start the night at the big open-air downstairs bar with a couple of drinks, and once youâve officially established the mood you can either swap email addresses and say goodbye, or move to The New Zealand Cellar wine bar." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing
"Drink mojitos, eat pizzas, and pray it doesnât rain. All go-to activities at Pop Brixton, the community-driven container village full of bars and food pop-ups." - jake missing
"Is there a better nighttime place to hang out with great food and drinks than at POP Brixton? We donât think so. Itâs a neon-lit complex of shipping containers packed with street food vendors and mini restaurants, hawking everything from Greek souvlaki and Japanese comfort food, to Caribbean macaroni pie. Youâll come here and never want to leave. Itâs awesome for a group, and an excellent plan of action would be just to rock up to Brixton at the weekend with a few friends and bounce from one stall to another all evening." - jake missing, rianne shlebak
"Of all the new food markets and industrial environments, Pop Brixton is one of our favourites. Season two of The Wire aside, this is our favourite thing involving shipping containers. From the fried chicken, to the vegan burgers, to the community farm - itâs an easy place to have a good time, and thereâs a whole covered upstairs if the weather goes south." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak
