Super friendly employee!! Unfortunately some drippings and toppings weren't available during our visit which was a bit of disappointing. The presentation of the pops were appealing and they tasted good! As a first timer, the amount of choices we could make were a bit of overwhelming. Will definitely need to plan time to revisit to try out more and different items!

We visited this black owned establishment on Tuesday, June 28, 2022. It is located at the Halcyon mixed use community in Alpharetta. There is ample free parking the a nearby parking deck within Halcyon. The popbar was a first a bit difficult to find because it is in the cut, but we did manage to locate it. It is right across the street from the CMX Cinebistro Halcyon. Upon arrival the establishment was clean, modern, and brightly decorated. There are a good variety of flavor combinations, toppings, and items to choose from. It appeared from their menu that they sell the pops ice cream, hot drinks, frozen drinks, and shakes + boba. It can be quite overwhelming deciding on what type of combination to get. They do have a popbar most popular combinations guide with about 8 of their notable pops with assorted toppings and flavors. I have included a photo of these that was placed on the wall next to the pops in the freezer. They also have gelato shakes in an assortment of flavors which comes with a chocolate dipped waffle cone and whipped cream. We didn’t really know what to get so we referred to the most popular combination list I mentioned. I originally chose the hazelnut biscotti pop combination, but they didn’t have the hazelnut popGelato. I had to settle for the Vanilla Sundae option which my boyfriend also chose. They didn’t really have a lot of the flavors of PopGelato which I thought was lacking. They only had mango, watermelon, raspberry, peach, cherry, lemon, coconut, chocolate, cookies n’ cream, vanilla, and Irish coffee. They appeared to have all of the toppings which included waffle cone, graham cracker crumble, cinnamon pretzel, rainbow sprinkle, chocolate sprinkle, almond, coconut, chilly powder, hazelnut, and pistachio. They have a couple of awards on the wall as well. Google awarded them as a top rated dessert shop in 2021. Atlanta Magazine ranked them amongst one of the 7 spots to get gelato in Metro Atlanta for 2020. It appears they were also a taste of Atlanta winner in 2020. They do have a popbar rewards program where customers can earn free pops, get $5 off every $40 spent and other treats. This is a franchising company, but this location is franchise black owned. On the brightly colored door it states they have popGelato, popSorbet, shakes, frozen lemonade, popFloats, dessert waffles, pop’N Boba, and hot chocolate. Also they have pupCups for dogs which can be eaten on their patio. I didn’t get a great look or photo of their health score, but it appeared to be a 100 A which is amazing. The vanilla sundae was a vanilla popGelato, half dipped in dark chocolate, with rainbow sprinkles. The employee hand dipped it and put the sprinkle topping on right in front of us. This is a quick and fast ice cream treat for sure. I felt the employees were nice enough and professional above all. There is no seating inside, but there is seating right outside of the business on a bench, and also at a small table and chairs. Once we got our Vanilla Sundaes we went outside and sat on the bench to enjoy our treats. The ice-cream was pretty good. The vanilla popbar paired well with the dark chocolate and sprinkle additions. This was a pretty simple and tasty treat. I would definitely like to try some of their other most popular flavor combinations. I wouldn’t mind returning, I would just hope they have more pop flavors to be able to purchase some of these other notable flavor combinations. I’m not sure if they just didn’t have more because it was a weekday or if that is how this particular location is lowly stocked on items. I wouldn’t mind coming again on a weekend evening after the movies across the street. They do have merchandise for sale on a few shelves against the wall. This includes lunch boxes, mugs, pens, visors $10, t-shirts $18, hats $12, and baseballs $12. It also appeared they had chocolate covered almonds for sale as well. They do have options to order online, but it if for items they are in bulk. I wouldn’t not recommend this business, but maybe try to go on a weekend to see if they have more flavor options.

This is a must-try if in the area!! The staff were very friendly and asked if it was our first time. He told us everything is fresh and made in-house and suggested popular combinations. We got the Snickerdoodle popsicle dipped in white chocolate with graham cracker sprinkles. It was fresh & delicious.

Not all popsicles are created equal 🍦 Some come with a creative EXPERIENCE as well. At @popbaralpharetta you have the opportunity to create your frozen work of ART with the assistance of the kindest - HAPPIEST- team you might ever experience in the ice-cream world. They truly had all the patience in the world while guest of all ages struggled to pick the perfect POP and settle on the accessories to top it off. Will be back ... Just for the FUN of it 🍦 My pick for the perfect pop ? Birthday cake sandwiched between crispy yummy chocolate cookies and drizzled with white chocolate 😉 So MANY options !

A great choice for some Ice cream on the stick... A variety of choice for flavor and gelato shakes are amazing. Kids loved it and to top it off - service was excellent 👌. They were very patient and explained the options. Definitely a great alternative for desserts

Popbar is a one of a kind popsicle shop located inside the new outdoor shopping center; Halcyon! The shop is located across from Lizard Thicket and the CMX Cinema movie theater. You know you've arrived when you see the big orange frame around their front door (as seen in my pictures)! What I love most about Popbar is that they have many delicious flavors of pops to choose from such as pistachio, strawberry, mango, peach, pineapple, salted caramel, mint, Irish coffee, toasted marshmallow, cookies and cream and coconut just to name a few. The flavors range from sorbet, gelato, to frozen yogurt. They ALSO have one of a kind shakes (as seen in my pictures)! All of their pops are made fresh daily with all natural ingredients, hormone-free milk, and real fruit! They ALSO do not use any artificial flavoring or high fructose corn syrup. Currently, my top three pop flavors are the cookies and cream, spicy chocolate and the snickerdoodle! I have had all three dipped inside their milk chocolate and then topped with hazelnut crumbles. I'm telling you it's a flavor experience you won't forget. Your taste buds will be thanking you throughout each bite! I highly recommend trying the spicy chocolate if you want a unique pop experience. Its not actually spicy in flavor, however, you do get a nice subtle warm feeling in your chest after you swallow. The pop has cayenne pepper mixed into the pop! If you ever meet the owners when you stop in (it is a husband and wife), you will quickly understand why this business is as good as it is! Everything they do they put their heart into and it shows from the moment you walk in. You can see the passion they have for this business as they explain how POPBAR works and you can taste it in each flavor!

They sell Popwichs. Two thin crispy wafers dipped in choclate and made to stick on top and bottom of the popsicle. You can then have the whole thing dipped in a delicious concoction (milk/dark/white choclate etc.). Sprinkle with topping of your choice. Sounds convoluted but tastes divine. They have a big selection of pops, dippings, and toppings. You can go crazy with the combinations. Also the staff are super friendly and patient. They are following the COVID protocol quiet well. Great place to get pops.

Avg. range of gelato bars. Mild taste. Gelato shakes are expensive of all and yet avg. taste, basic like any other shake from any place. One time thing if you have never done before.

So quaint and fun can't believe they've been here so long already! I swear Halcyon just opened. I am glad I was finally able to try Popbar out. The staff was so friendly and open to answering all of our questions. As I was coming here with the intent to try a Popbar I had to get one, but I really want to come back for a shake soon! I decided to try the peppermint Popbar dipped in dark chocolate with peppermint topping. It was AMAZING. The gelato is so smooth and creamy and not too overly sweet. The toppings were a perfect compliment. I'd eat it everyday if I could! Very excited to come back and try a shake next time!

Came with a couple of friends since we needed something sweet after eating dinner, and this was the perfect place! I got the snickerdoodle popsicle, double dipped in dark chocolate and covered in the cinnamon pretzels! I thought it was great, not too sweet at all and a bit more on the savory side. My friend got the coconut, half dipped in dark chocolate, and with chocolate sprinkles. She enjoyed it and said there were some coconut chunks in the popsicle itself! My other friend got the pumpkin pie, drizzled in white chocolate, and with graham crackers. She also enjoyed it! Service was quick and you can watch them dipping your popsicle through the glass. It's a small store, more so a grab and go type of place, but there are tables and chairs outside where you can sit and eat!

Awesome Shakes. Loved the uniqueness and variety of the yogurt, popsicles and shakes. Excellent customer service, very friendly. Great location! The place was much better and half as crowded as Avalon ! Definitely will try other food places next time. While going back to the parking lot, couple people inquired about the cool place since the shake was not just yummy but the bottles looked so cute. Just one suggestion about the lighted billboard since the place was little difficult to locate, and seemed like part of next door steakhouse. Such cool place deserves a more prominent & visible board for the customers.

Very nice to see more dessert places at the Halcyon besides Kilwins! We got the coffee gelato shake and it was very authentic tasting! It was not overly sugar-y and had a delicious true coffee taste to it! It comes with a cone on top filled with whip cream so our soon thoroughly enjoyed that! The pop flavors they had were hazelnut, coconut, tropical fruit, and chocolate! The toppings looked endless. We will have to try that next time!

We came and had hazelnut pop bar with toppings and fillings. For 6$ this is way more fun and interesting than just a scoop of ice cream like at many overpriced ice cream restaurants nowadays. Wished there were a few more flavor options but overall delicious.

I've heard of Popbar before, but never had the opportunity to try it out. They have pops, hot drinks, cold drinks, frozen drinks, boba, and of course the new dessert waffles. Popbar Alpharetta is located in Halcyon Town Square amongst other restaurants and retailers. The Service: These ladies were extremely nice. One of them appeared to be new, but we had a great conversation about Christmas movies while I waited for my waffle. Even on this wet, nasty day it was super pleasant having a good conversation with a stranger. The Parking: Halcyon offers 6 floors of free parking in a parking deck. There are also store front street parking for some establishments. The Waffle: I ordered the Birthday Waffle (Chocolate Chip Waffle, Milk Chocolate Drizzle, Rainbow Sprinkles and Whipped Cream). The waffles are chocolate chip, so needless to say, I had a chocolate overdose. SUPERRRR GOOD! Ice cream would've made it even better, but I know the waffle wouldn't have lasted for me to get home. I literally devoured it in the parking deck as people looked inside my car. I wish I would've gotten a popsicle as well, but it was cold outside and I didn't want to make myself even colder. Maybe next time. Overall, I had a great experience. Thanks to the Popbar staff.

Popbar is a franchised Popsicle spot that has locations around the world, but only one here in Georgia and this is it! Tucked away inside Halcyon and across from the movie theater sits a tiny little spot slinging popsicles with big flavor! As mentioned above, the place is tiny...like, 3 people inside at once tiny. I am not mad at it by any means, as most of the space inside is reserved for the kitchen and prep areas...so y'all take all the space you need to pump out those sweet treats on a stick! Pricing is a little more than I am used to paying for popsicles, as they are about $5 each. You can order them in bulk for a slight discount and if you go with the (6) pack then you get a cool little cooler tote to ensure safe transportation of your treats. They have a decent variety of popsicle flavors and it includes sorbet for the non-dairy folks out there! During my visit they had about 12 flavors available including the classics of vanilla and chocolate, but they also had French toast, toasted marshmallow and tropical fruit to name a few. I happen to be a purest with my popsicles, but if you prefer to get fancy with it then they got a dippings/toppings bar that you are going to love! Featuring 8 dips and 14 toppings, you can make your popsicle anything your imagination can fathom! In addition to the obvious star of the show here (popsicles!), they also offer a few other treats including drinks! I got a few popsicles to go and grabbed a hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was quite tasty as it was creamy, smooth and perfectly sweet! Outside of the treats, the service was also super sweet! Janna was phenomenal from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. She was helpful, knowledgeable and so kind! Overall, I live on the other end of the city (sadly), so I can't say that I will be a regular here, but when I do find myself up 400 for any reason, I will make it point to pit stop Halcyon so I can grab me a popsicle...or 4!

I've been dying to try this place & finally went as I was in the area to pick up a tell swag bag for the yelpies! They have sorbet or gelato pops and then you can do unlimited drippings or toppings and they have a ton to choose from. I got half white/half dark and it was a good quality chocolate, thickly layered to protect my teeth from that ice cold pop. I had the mango pop and it was My fiance had snickerdoodle and I really want to try more gelato pops. So creamy! But the sorbet really went so well with that chocolate... Or the popwich that I didn't see until I'd already ordered. Will definitely have to try more pops when Im in the area again. Plenty of parking in Halcyon. It's not in the market hall though but on the side and I'm terrible with directions so I'll say use the map in the parking deck

I noticed they also sold hot chocolate and it was a pretty chilly day, so I ordered a cup; I had caramel chocolate on a stick served with soy milk, I appreciated that they offered plant-based milk. The hot chocolate is so delicious and very rich, I liked it!

I was in the area and wanting a sweet treat! This place came highly recommended by the aesthetician that did my facial at Clean Your Dirty Face located in the same plaza. This is basically an order and go spot. The interior is small and there is only a small bench out front. However, this forces you to walk around the place to burn the calories that you will consume from your popbar. When I walked in there were no patrons, and one employee behind the bar. I advised that it was my first visit so I was given a run down of what they offered. The pop-bar is gelato on a stick! They offer gluten free and vegan options. This is a great spot to check out if your group has various dietary restrictions. I don't recall the exact flavor of the pop that I tried, However, it was a chocolate base. I opted to dip it in white Chocolate and graham cracker. Please note that the bar is one price, the dip is basically an up charge as are the toppings. Overall, I was not upset with the total cost. I think it's on par with any other ice cream and/or gelato shop. The pop was good. I would try it again if in the area.

A tiny little shop at the Halycon that sells customized ice cream bars! The worker was so kind when we asked her a million questions and took the time to explain how it works. The ice cream is 4-5 dollars and worth every penny. I love going here!

At Popbar, anything is popsicle! This cute little shop is nestled inside Halcyon Forsyth. When I say little, I mean little. There's no seating inside, although there is one table. No more than 10 people can stand comfortably inside. Outside seating is available. Popbar specializes in gelato, sorbet, and frozen yogurt on a stick. Flavors range from classics like chocolate and vanilla to pistachio, Irish coffee, bubble gum, vanilla salted caramel, and more. They recently added vegan pops to their menu. You choose a pop, dip, then top to your liking! Their topping bar includes plenty of options: milk, dark, and white chocolate, crushed nuts, waffle cone, sprinkles, caramel corn, and more. Popbar offers a variety of other treats as well - gelatoShakes, Hot Chocolate on a Stick, wafflePops, and more. I've tried several of their pops (vanilla salted caramel, Irish coffee, cookies & cream, bubble gum, snickerdoodle, Mexican hot chocolate, etc), a wafflepop, and a hot chocolate on a stick. They. Are. All. AMAZING! Their pops are some of the best pops I've ever had! My current favorites are vanilla salted caramel, Irish coffee, and cookies & cream. The wonderful owners, Charel and Jamaal and their team are as sweet as their treats! Customer service at Popbar is the best, bar none!

I went here because of an invitation from the OTP yelp elite leader. I was walking on crutches so I couldn't really go inside. A nice lady name Anne said that she would be willing to bring it outside so I could get curbside service. The "Popsicles " were very tasty You could decide what toppings they rolled it in I got chocolate on chocolate with almonds rolled in I also ordered a mango and and gave me several toppings in a package to choose from. It came out in a nice cooler that you got to take home! Not sure if I felt I got my moneys worth as the Popsicles were smaller than I thought at $4.25 a shot But definitely I rate the customer service very highly!

This is an excellent place for customized popsicles. It's a tad bit expensive, but very tasty. They have a lot of great flavors and many toppings and dippings. There's a variety of both gelatos and sorbets. I got a raspberry pop dipped in white chocolate and coconut (the pop is seedy). The mango pop was also very delicious, but I do recommend trying it with the chili powder. The Dulce de Leche gelato dipped in milk chocolate and coated in graham crackers tasted just like s'mores! Good for picky eaters and has tons of great options to choose from for a summery treat! There's also very cute places around this shop to sit around and enjoy :)

Since it is extremely hot today, my husband suggested that we go get popsicles to cool down. I gave them 5 stars due to the following: 1. Location: it's in the new Halycon shopping center so it's super convenient for those that live in Alpharetta, not so much for us. 2. Setting: the store itself is very small. It can only fit roughly 5 people, so I think it's a bit hard to social distance. 3. Price: the popsicles are roughly $5 per pop, but if you check in, your 2nd pop is 50% off. 4. Service: there were 2 employees working behind the counter so service was quick and easy. 5. Flavors: when we came, they had about 10 flavors to pick from and plenty of syrups and toppings. Overall, I would recommend trying it out if you're a popsicle fan.

So let's talk about how amazing popbar is. I love the concept of this place you go you pick out your popsicle flavor and it's unlimited dipping choices of chocolate and toppings. And I love how do they get so creative with dipping your chocolate. You can half dip it,fully dip it , you can do drizzles it. You have total creative freedom of this popsicle that you're about to eat. It's so much fun to watch. The only thing I hate about this place is that it is so far away from where I live. I have to plan a special trip just to get it. You will not regret your decision to try this place! Best $5 spent.

I cannot say enough kind words about this place. First, the owners and staff are incredible people! They're so helpful in making sure you find something you'll love. Plus, there's something for everyone! They offer vegan and gluten free options. They also serve up everything from pops (sorbet and gelato) to shakes to hot chocolates. You can even take a party pack home or order delivery if you live nearby!! I will never take a trip to Halcyon without stopping in at Popbar!

Pretty little shop, but fell below expectations. Popbar is a frozen treat store with gelato, sorbet, and yogurt...all on a stick. There are multiple flavors to choose from, and apparently they rotate 40 different ones. They offer vegan choices, along with dairy free, gluten free, and even soy free. Sounds fabulous, but the taste was meh. Cool flavors like grapefruit, blood orange, coconut, almond, and hazelnut were available. My daughter got the pineapple one, and it was really not popping (no pun intended) with flavor. I think I can get better pineapple in the grocery store, and for a whole tub instead of $5 on a stick. Yes, your store is cute. Yes, it will attract a lot of customers. But the problem is, how are you going to get repeat business with sub par taste?

After seeing so many friends post this on their stories recently, I decided to stop by with a friend to give Popbar a try and it did not disappoint! I love how they have sorbet and gelato options with unlimited toppings. I went with the Snickerdoodle pop with a white chocolate drizzle and topped with almonds. The pop was not overly sweet nor was it overly creamy but just the perfect balance! The cinnamon was also not overpowering and was a light subtle hint. I can't wait to come back and try some of their milkshakes and other flavors!

Popbar is all about specialty/customized popsicles! It's located in the new Halcyon shopping area up in Alpharetta. The outside of the shop really "pops" with the bright orange frame. There are lots of fun options to create your personalized popsicle. You can start with a fruity sorbetto, frozen yogurt or delicious gelato. Then you have the choice of dipping it into chocolate (milk, dark, white). You can do a full dip, half dip or a drizzle. Last there are toppings like waffle cone pieces, cinnamon pretzels, coconut, almonds and more. If that wasn't enough, you can also make your pop into a popWich by sandwiching it between 2 chocolate cookies. I have tried 2 different pops so far. I had a peanut butter gelato half dipped in milk chocolate and topped with waffle cone pieces. The 2nd pop was my favorite. It was hazelnut gelato half dipped in dark chocolate, drizzled with milk chocolate, and topped with waffle cone pieces. It was so yummy!! I look forward to going back and trying other flavors that I see on the menu online but were not in the store during my visit (like toasted marshmallow and snickerdoodle!).

I've been wanting to try Popbar for awhile so I finally did! They have an assortment of gelato, sorbet, and yogurt pops in various flavors and I went for the plain hazelnut pop on my first visit. I opted to do without the toppings because I wanted to taste the pop by itself, it was so good! On my second visit, I went with the vanilla pop with chocolate dip and cinnamon pretzel. I enjoyed every bite!

Was just average in flavor. I expected more richness in the chocolate flavoring if the popsicle. Don't think it is worth the price and hype

Unique and delicious but a bit overpriced. Popbar is one of a kind, in that you get to chose a popsicle, flavors to dip it in and toppings. There are gelato (similar to icecream) flavors and sorbet (fruity) flavors. There are shakes and waffle pops and other options as well if you don't want a popsicle. I went with a French toast gelato pop with milk chocolate full dip, caramel dark chocolate drizzle and waffle cone toppings. It was delicious! My husband got a chocolate gelatopop dipped in white chocolate also with waffle cone toppings. I believe it was gone in 5 seconds so he definitely enjoyed it. I am very excited to try more flavors, as they rotate and are seasonal. It was over $11 for both popsicles and although it is very unique and delicious, it is still a popsicle. Although I feel that it is a bit overpriced, the price will not deter us from trying more Popbar flavors! It is a great addition to Halcyon and I will be sure to recommend it for any dessert or sweet snack!

I'm a sucker for a good popsicle, but will also note that it's hard to find ones that both taste fresh and are not freezer burned. I don't want to pay for what I can buy 6 of for the same price at Publix. Popbar finally accomplished that for me in Georgia. Any base with caramel chocolate and graham cracker crumbles is just this texture heaven. No matter what you get, they're creamy smooth. They have Apple Pay which is handy when you're holding a drippy popsicle. Massive fan, hope the product stays this good.

The service is always very friendly and the popsicles are delicious. Its a great place to go if you have a group because there is always a decent variety of flavors and you can customize your popsicles. There is something for everyone.

I came here a few weeks ago and got the French toast pop with half dipped dark chocolate and sprinkles. I loooooooved it. It was sweet and creamy. I loved the crunch the dark chocolate and sprinkles added. I tasted hints cinnamon throughout the bar. This time I got Irish coffee with half dipped dark chocolate and almonds. It was pretty good not too sweet! It tasted like a coffee pop. The crunch the dark chocolate and almonds gave was a good addition.

My first visit but it definitely will not be my last while visiting our daughter here in Georgia. The choices are many. I chose the option of picking a popsandwich. You pick a pop flavor (I chose red velvet, so creamy), then they spread Nutella on two traditional chocolate biscuits and place them on each of the pop, once that is done choose how you want the entire pop covered with liquid chocolate (different flavors). I liked mine dipped half way with dark chocolate. However, you can have it completely dipped or drizzled. Then comes the toppings, once again many choices. I liked crushed graham crackers and sprinkles. Now it was time to thoroughly enjoy my creation and oh my, how yummy it WAS!!! All the flavors were extremely tasty and I definitely will enjoy one maybe two before leaving Georgia. Where this PopBar is located at the Halcyon is absolutely the coolest strip mall. Worth checking out and then make sure to enjoy dessert at Popbar. They have many other items to try, like a Gelato shake which looked quite scrumptious and I may need to try next time. It does get quite busy and the waiting area isn't large, but worth waiting.

Amazing custom popsicles in a relatively new upscale shopping plaza similar to Avalon in Alpharetta and PCM. I came with a friend as part of the yelp event for BOGO 50% off pops, and we both thought it was well worth the price ($5 for a popsicle customized with as many toppings as you can fit). I got a chocolate strawberry with hazelnuts and he had the chocolate raspberry. Both had a sorbet base which was then dipped in chocolate, had toppings added, and then put back into the freezer to chill. I loved the strawberry because of how natural the popsicle tasted, and I loved the small bits of strawberry in it. I will definitely be back throughout the summer and hope that the rewards program is worth it!

Stopped by on Friday afternoon for Yelp's 16th birthday special. It was my fiancé and myself's first time coming to the Halcyon shopping center. It was very busy as to be expected on a Friday. The parking lot and drive around the parking structure is a little hectic as there are lots of pedestrians, and us not being used to the area took a little while to get our bearings. They do offer curbside - which is what we got - however, you have to pull up next to the building and leaving only one lane of travel next to you in or out. I didn't want to go inside as it was already pretty busy, and as some have mentioned it can get crowded easily with no standing or sitting room. I decided to call in. A really sweet girl, Isabella, helped us out. She told us she was the only one there, and I felt so bad, because I kept asking her if they had certain flavors but they didn't have any of the ones I wanted to try from the website. I originally was going to get the Green Tea w/ cookies and cream popGelato & a Strawberry Cheesecake one. They didn't have either, so I moved on to a guava popSorbetto and regular green tea popGelato - negative on those as well. It was still packed inside, otherwise I would've just gone in. She recommended the vanilla salted caramel (which I'm not really a big fan of flavor wise, but I figured why not, as this process was taking longer than I wanted it to and I felt terrible for keeping her from her job inside). So I decided to go with her recommendation and a mango popSorbetto, which fortunately they had. When she came out with the order, I was expecting the pops to be in a cute little orange cooler I've been seeing people have for curbside, but no such luck. Maybe, it's because we ordered only two or maybe it slipped her mind since she was so swamped. In any case, no biggie. She ran my card and the check-in discount was great, leaving us with only a little over $5 total for both pops. I ended up pulling off elsewhere to eat the pops and they still held up for the little drive luckily. My fiancé wasn't interested in any of the items as he's more of a full fat ice cream kind of guy as opposed to having yogurt, gelato, or sorbet. I enjoyed the creaminess of the popGelato and overall flavor. Although, it turns out I ended up with the Toasted Marshmallow flavor, which was probably for the best. The mango popSorbetto was nice and refreshing. The mango used was not as sweet as the mangoes I'm used to from Maui, but it was decent. Overall, it was an okay experience, aside from not having the website flavors I wanted to try - 5 stars for Isabella, about 3.5 for the pops and location. One thing that I didn't really like was that everyone hanging out in the Halcyon pavilion/green space area was all seated pretty close to each other and nobody, not one soul that I could see from the car, was wearing a mask. No social distancing or face masks being used there, despite the numbers continuing to climb for coronavirus. It was a little off-putting to see the people of Alpharetta and some out-of- towners I'm sure with such blatant disregard for their fellow humans who might have underlying conditions and that could catch this virus easily. Only one group of ladies coming from Popbar had on masks, and I was thankful for that as they were ordering at the same time as me. I have underlying conditions as well and a weakened immune system, so I've been doing my best to prevent and protect myself and others during this time. If you don't want to wear a mask, of course you're more than welcome to your freedoms, but please don't put me and many others in danger with your actions if you're around people who may not recover from COVID-19 as easily as you. Mainly for this reason, I will not be back to the Halcyon shopping center any time soon.

Customized ice cream bars. The owner was great practicing social distancing taking orders via phone or outside the shop and bringing orders to you via walk up or to the car. I got the pistachio with a the dark chocolate caramel and more pistachios. I like the option of being able to choose your flavor, sauce, and toppings.

Excellent concept but left me wanting it to be more. The popsicles I tried did not taste like the flavor they were suppose to represent. While I think it's neat to have have been dipped in chocolate or caramel and then add all tops of toppings I feel those options definitely take away from the main prize. Next time I would like to maybe try the hot chocolate on a stick. I thought the chocolate was the best part. Would love them to improve the flavors of the popsicles and rely less on all the toppings.

I honestly can't believe how good the vegan gelato was. I recently had to go gluten/dairy free and everything was clearly labeled plus the employee was sure to point out what was safe for me which I really appreciate. I was so excited I forgot to get a picture of mine. My husband got a gelato popwich which he said was great. He said the cookie was harder than he expected and he would probably go regular pop next time but overall enjoyed it. We will definitely be back. They do require masks and provide them if you forgot yours.

First time visiting the Halcyon "main street" and couldn't wait to devour the POPular Popbar popsicles! Many varieties popsicle flavors to choose from but one popsicle costs about $5. Husband chose the Popgelato Snickerdoodle with Mint Dark Chocolate and Cinnamon Pretzels as it reminded him of our RIP golden retriever's favorite cookie. I picked the green Popgelato Pistachio with drizzle of White Chocolate and covered with pistachio nuts on one side and hazelnuts on other side! Delightful but very very expensive at $15 plus tip for just two bars. Popular is nice very small store as there are no chairs or table inside available so be prepared to sit outside on patio walkway. We enjoyed watching the "main street" views of people passing by Hobnob, CherryPub, and Butcher and Brew. And thank you Charel for making our first time and our 30th anniversary a memorable one. We plan to come back in the spring when Halcyon is more settled and try out more POPbar popsicle flavors. PS: Popbar opens at 12:30p not 11:30a as stated on Yelp.

I'm not a huge fan of fruit popsicle places (like King of Pops). But Popbar takes it to the next level by using gelato (they also offer fruit flavors). They have a nice variety of gelato flavors such as coffee, cookies n cream, snickerdoodle, etc. Then of course you can get it dipped and topped. I usually stick with the dark chocolate options. It's nice to get a pop and then walk around Halcyon. They always have great customer service as well.

This is a spectacular place for grabbing a tasty gelato pop & having a good time. I always enjoy creating a tasty treat. I really enjoyed the hot chocolate they serve here. Such a dope concept. We also designed our own flavorful popsicle & who knew an ice cream sandwich could get even better. You can't go wrong by satisfying your sweet tooth at this spot. Give them a try‼ it's the best popsicle shop in Georgia.

Decided to stop by and support with the family today. It was a wonderful experience and it's phenomenal to be able to customize your Popbar. The staff was very personable and accommodating. Now to the bars: I couldn't decide between the gelato or the sorbeto do I got both! Best decision ever! These bars are addictive! Stop by the Halcyon location and get the experience...especially on a 91 degree day like today!

The brand new Halcyon officially opened last weekend and a custom Pop, or two, from Popbar was the perfect way to celebrate! Popbar has gelato, sorbetto, and frozen yogurt bases, all served on a stick! Top with chocolate dips, drizzles and toppings of your choice, and you're in for a treat! Plus, the owners of Popbar are the nicest couple! My creations 1 Chocolate Gelato Pop with White Chocolate Dip, Rainbow Sprinkles and Dark Chocolate Caramel drizzle 2 Strawberry Yogurt Pop with Milk Chocolate Dip, Cinnamon Pretzel Topping, and White Chocolate Drizzle! Your favorite childhood Popsicle just got elevated people!

I got a pistachio pop dipped in dark chocolate to counteract the sweetness, drizzled white chocolate over the top, and finished with some crushed nuts for crunch. I think my friend got the waffle pop dipped in milk chocolate, drizzled with white chocolate, and topped with some nuts as well. If you're ever in Alpharetta, make sure you hit this place up! The service is great. They greet you as soon as you walk in and walk you through the process step by step. Finally, when you get to the portion where they assemble everything and do all the dippings and drizzles, you can't help but pull your phone out and record. Once you get it in your hand, WOW! "It's a masterpiece!" Again, you can park in the Halcyon parking deck and quickly walk over to this small little shop that packs a BIG punch when it comes to taste. The # of flavors, the toppings, and customizations are almost endless in my opinion. You'd have to frequent almost everyday at some point.

Cute place! I was skeptical but my friend who is a local said it was a must try! Did not disappoint. Tons of sorbet and gelato "pop" options. I could hardly decide and may need to make a second trip before returning home. I decided on the toasted marshmallow gelato pop half dipped in white chocolate and graham cracker crumble. Such strong flavors at such a good price. Bonus-Also cute for photo opps.

First time trying popbar and it met all of my high expectations. They had many flavors to choose from and seemingly endless combinations for how to finish your pop. The prices are obviously a bit pricey for ice cream, but it's what you would expect from a specialty ice cream place. The staff are clearly still learning how to make everything and ring things up, but the customer service was great and they were friendly and helpful so I of course have patience for new businesses learning to get up and running. Would highly recommend you check it out for a unique and fun treat.

Cool new hip popsicle place! The store is tiny, so it only fits 5-7 people at a time. The popsicles are about $5 per pop, but if you check-in, your 2nd pop is 50% off. I bought my friend's second pop. We both ordered the french toast popsicle dipped with half white chocolate and half dark chocolate with sprinkles and graham cracker crust. My pop was a bit too sweet for me. I ended up taking off all my toppings and enjoyed my naked french toast pop. My sweet tooth may have not been as sweet as I thought! Excited to try the other flavors!

Pop bar has been popping up all over the place. The latest in Halcyon in Alpharetta. These bars are delicious and a must try. Stay away from the bubblegum Flavor as it tasted like kids medicine.

This is the place to come if you want something unique and sweet. They specialize in custom popsicles with various toppings. They recently added match tea and lattes with toppings on the rims if you desire it. If you need to travel, have no fear, they even include carriers with dry ice that will protect them from melting

Today it was my 1st visit in Halcyon and Pop bar! I really loved both. Pop bar has multiple good choices of flavors to use your creativity. The hazelnut one is very delicious combined with dark chocolate. I really enjoyed grab my ice pop and then headed to Halcyon area to see the movement while eating.

Popbar! This is such a FUN place. I mean, even the name sounds fun. This was my first time trying this place out and my first time trying a gourmet gelato Popsicle. What a cool concept! Plus, I am always down to create my own food masterpiece, so when I saw all the different options available I was ready to try it out! This place is located off the Halcyon green, close to the movie theater. It is tiny, but bright, so I don't think you'll miss it. They offer so many different pop bases to choose from. You can get a creamy one or a fruity one. Then you can choose your dips and toppings. They have sweet and savory options. I kept it pretty simple my first visit there. I was craving chocolate, so I started with a chocolate pop base and added a milk chocolate dip on one side and a white chocolate dip on the other. Maybe I should name it the Chocolate For my toppings, I added chocolate and rainbow sprinkles. Not only is this treat photo-worthy, but it tastes great too. What I love most about Popbar is how friendly and community-oriented the owners are. Popbar is constantly offering fun events, discounts, and fundraisers for the community. I just love how involved they are in the community. This is one small business that I will always be down to support! Be sure to check them out the next time you have a sweet tooth craving!

A variety of flavors with a somewhat clean interior with nice design. However, the flavors (tried a more than a few) are lacking, well, flavor especially for the price you're paying. Wish this wasn't the case.
