Google
Unwilling to work with nut allergies even though they advertise as such. Said everything is cross contaminated and my daughter could only get a sorbet bar. He could have. Easily dipped bar in a new chocolate container and used a different topping not already on the line. Every ice cream/gelato place in San Diego works with us, NOT THESE PEOPLE! Highly recommend going elsewhere. Companies with this kind of poor customer services and disrespect toward guests do not deserve to be a business these days!

Google
Very good gelato pops. I got hazelnut gelato dipped in chocolate and more hazelnuts on top as well. So good. The chocolate gelato shake is very good too. Will def return for more

Nicole C.

Google
Super cute. Tons of different flavors and toppings.

Kimberly L.

Google
This place has some of the best shakes around. I always get the strawberry/chocolate shake and it is awesome! The gelato pops are great too. They have a ton of flavors that can be personalized with additional toppings. The employees are super nice too. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for gelato, creamy shakes with real fruit, or a cool cheesecake pop, try this place for sure.

Google
Good customer service great ice cream

Google
Huge fan of Popbar! If you haven't been, well...you're missing out! Love the pistachio/dark chocolate dipped bar but there are so many yummy flavors to try. Enjoy!

Andy

Google
Right in the cafeteria area of Pacific City Huntington Beach, Pop Bar has great tasting assortments and flavors of gourmet popsicles. You can also have them dipped in milk or white chocolate and coated with various toppings. I had the Matcha green tea flavor dipped in white chocolate coated with coconut shreds. It was exquisite.

Laina L.

Google
This place is amazing! It's a little hidden in the corner of the shopping area but the popsicles are so good! I love that you can combine and customize your popsicle the way you want it! I will definitely come here again.

Yelp
Good strawberry drink but it was super sweet! Boba is chewy. 7/10! Nice and quick service

Yelp
Popbar is such a fun dessert destination with a huge variety of flavors and endless ways to customize each pop. We decided on the watermelon popbar dipped in rich dark chocolate and finished with a generous pistachio coating -- the combination was refreshing, flavorful, and perfectly balanced between sweet, tart, and nutty. Service was quick and friendly, with our order ready in just a couple of minutes. Our kids were absolutely delighted, carefully picking their own flavors and toppings, and have been talking about it ever since. The bright, casual atmosphere makes it an ideal stop for families, date nights, or just a quick sweet treat on a hot day. With so many flavors and topping combinations still left to try, we're already looking forward to our next visit.

Yelp
First time here! Very cute, staff are friendly. I got a brown sugar boba mil tea, definitely would recommend 10/10. Quick service as well!! You need to try this place, next time I'll get a gelato pop they look delicious as well!

Yelp
Great service. One server did everything. My drink and make my popbar. Ambiance is slow at first but while she was making my drink, long line of customers formed. But server didn't sweat about it. She took one customer at a time and conquered the line. I ordered the cookie and cream popbar topped with marshmallows topping and it totally hit the spot for me. Great combo and will order again in the future.

Yelp
Ok, so I've never had this before but I've seen them at a few places. My date and I came here, Sunday, after church, after eating at Primecut Taqueria... and I was craving some ice cream. This concept is genius! So many options! He got the pistachio pop bar and I ended up trying the lavender pop bar with Vanilla White chocolate drizzled on both sides and waffle cone topping on one side AND hazelnuts on the other side! I didn't even know you could do that! Omg! I liked it! You definitely taste the Lavender but it wasn't too strong. There's so many ways to dress them up. Definitely coming back! (Don't forget to validate parking!)

Yelp
Food: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Food: I got the green tea popgelato since it sounded perfect for a sunset stroll by the beach. The green tea one is not too sweet, although I would've liked a stronger green tea flavor. Service: The service was great--they even pulled out a fresh popgelato from the back after hearing I have a peanut allergy. I like that they give you the popgelato on a paper wrapper--perfect to catch those drops as it melts. They also ask if you need to validate your parking, which is much appreciated. Ambiance: The shop is inside a food hall area, just steps away from the beach. There is seating inside the food hall, but I'd recommend going out to the water :)

Yelp
The chocolate dipped cheesecake was amazing. We got one in dark chocolate and graham crackers. The other one with milk chocolate and coconut. I think I'm obsessed....

Melanie B.

Yelp
Highly recommend this gelato dipped into dark chocolate covered in a toffee popbar with excellent customer service in beautiful environment

Yelp
Popbar has been a long time favorite of mine! I usually get Pistachio popGelato with Milk Chocolate, Hazelnut and White Chocolate Drizzle. I've also had a Vanilla Sundae popGelato. Sometimes I get Matcha. I would go out of my way to come here. The pistachio flavor is amazing, it's my favorite! Ok I haven't tried every single flavor to say it's the best but I have tried some others, they are good but so far I've liked pistachio the most. Green Tea is my second favorite. Vanilla is good too but not my top choice. Get any flavor you want, you can't go wrong, they'll all be good. I like that the ice cream is hard enough to stay on a stick but once you bite into it, it's nice and soft and chewy, creamy, has a good bite, not overly hard. I love that you can dip it in chocolate and sprinkle sides on top, these are a must do. I don't know any other ice cream place that sells ice cream on a stick like this, it's very unique here. This one is located in Lot 579 at Pacific City in Huntington Beach. Lot 579 is a food hall and Pacific City is a shopping plaza. It's right across from Huntington State Beach, walkable distance, love that. There is a big parking structure. It's free with validation for the first 2-3 hours depending on the day you go. If you pass this time, you'll have to pay. They offer parking validation here. Service is really friendly. There is some seating inside. You could also go outside and sit at the blocks in Pacific City or just walk around and eat. The inside and outside is very nice, casual yet modern. I think price is fair accounting for inflation, I think the ice cream bar is big but not too big, a good size with the right price, worth it.

Yelp
Refreshing snack, dessert, or anytime treat. Choose your flavor of ice cream or sorbet. Many choices to select from. Then choose a topping. I like dark chocolate dip. And then choose what to roll the entire bar into, Whether it be finely chopped nuts or sprinkles. They have coffees too but while it was ok, I usually like my coffee stronger.

Yelp
Was craving a sweet treat and stumbled upon Popbar while walking to BearFlag. I've been to a Popbar once for their popsicles but never their drinks. I was a bit hesitant since they're known for popsicles and not their drinks but was definitely pleased. We got a green thai tea, piña colada and peach green tea. They were all so refreshing and delicious. The piña colada was so fresh and their tea's were not too strong but enough to taste the tea flavors. The staff was also super sweet! So glad I found this place so I can now have my boba fix by the beach.
google avatar

Molly A.

Yelp
Fun concept, and I really liked the toppings. The quality of the actual gelato bar itself, though, I found sub-par. I got vanilla and I usually like vanilla ice cream bars with chocolate coatings etc - but the vanilla was quite bland and icy - not creamy at all. I got the vanilla so the ice cream wouldn't overpower the flavors of the toppings, but if I were to return again, I would perhaps recommend trying a flavored gelato.

Yelp
I love Pop Bar for their popsicle and smoothie creations! I have been to the Pop Bar in Santa Monica and the location in Santa Monica before finally trying this location in Huntington Beach, and they all lived up to their delicious standards. My go-to favorite is their strawberry sorbeto pop dipped in dark chocolate with and almonds coconut shreds. Today, I also enjoyed the passion fruit sorbet pop also dipped in dark chocolate with almonds and coconut shreds. Both were light, delicious and hit the spot for my sweets craving. Now that I know where this Pop Bar is, I'll be going here more often! For reference, it's located in the food court by the Old Crow Smokehouse
google avatar

Liz N.

Yelp
This might be the best popsicle I've EVER had. It doesn't taste artificial at all, but it's still sweet and refreshing. I think instead of getting half the crumble on it, I'll do the full next time because it was so yummy! There was no wait on a regular afternoon, and the worker was so nice and friendly! Can't wait to come back! There's another location in Anaheim, so I'll definitely be checking that one out as well.

Yelp
Food: AMAZING, CREATIVE Popsicle Bars!!! The flavors are unique and the toppings add glamor to the pics (they taste great and add the crunch and texture to your popbars. Service: made to order right there Design: interiors is part of the larger Lot 579 Food Hall; they have a narrow seating area with fun artwork all inspired by the popbar shape Overall: LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place for a tasty dessert
google avatar

Leah D.

Yelp
Ah, the famous Popbar photos on Instagram made me excited to see this place. Popbar is located in Pacific City, a shopping mall right near the beach. We found their stand at the end of a food court, called Lot 579 I believe. I decided to customize my own treat, choosing Birthday gelato as a base and chocolate caramel dip, waffle cone topping, and white chocolate drizzle. It was ready within a minute, and it was $6. A bit confusing because the menu showed a price of $4.50 for a bar, but perhaps the drizzle and toppings were extra. I'm not sure and didn't bother to ask since so many kids and families were waiting in line. The popsicle tasted really good, and I'd be back to try their other flavors.
google avatar

Harmony L.

Yelp
Tried for the first time and just fell in love with the aloe drinks. So many flavor choices and reasonably priced. Can't wait to go back.
google avatar

Cassandra T.

Yelp
I loved this place! It's definitely a novelty kind of thing when you could get a whole box of grocery store popsicles for the price of one here, but they are really good, and fun to try different combos. I stuck with fairly basic ones on back to back days since I'm not local and wanted something I knew I would like. First time I got strawberry half dipped in dark chocolate with a white chocolate drizzle, next time I had banana with half dark chocolate dip and rainbow sprinkles. It's fun to see them prepare your custom pick in front of you, and tasted great. It was served with a little paper dish so you wouldn't make too much of a mess and had some tables you could sit down at to eat. They also had boba drinks and a couple other menu options, but as shown by the name, the popsicles were the highlight! I would definitely come back, a great sweet summer treat, especially if you don't like (dairy) ice cream much.
google avatar

Leejae K.

Yelp
I haven't had the actual bars itself, but the boba at Popbar is genuinely the best boba I've ever had. It's also one of the best prices I've seen especially with the quality and taste! The drinks itself hit the sweet spot, and if you're not much of a sweet person, their other drinks tastes so good. Their pearls are so sweet and chewy, and I have been addicted to them for a while! The staff are so understanding and kind, and they let you sit while they bring the drinks out for you. It's a small area, and could be easy to miss, but it's a really great place for boba!
google avatar

Monica N.

Yelp
Craving for something sweet and delicious? This popbar is a gem. There are so many delicious flavors to choose from. I chose Strawberry yogurt and it was yummy. My husband got the matcha and he loved it. We'll definitely come back again to try other flavors. The service was excellent too.
google avatar

Michelle S.

Yelp
Amazing place!!! Apologies for the half-eaten pops. My daughter ate most of the sprinkles first. Lol This yummy spot has been here for 5 years and it's our go-to place whenever we go to Pacific City. They have a ton of flavors and varieties to choose from and everything we've had is divine.
google avatar

Malibu B.

Yelp
Yes yes yes!!!! This place is heavily yum! Try watermelon with dark chocolate double dipped with pistachio on one side and almond on the other side reglaze again!!!!
google avatar

Kori S.

Yelp
We always love finding fun treats while on vacation!! This little spot was right by our hotel, and I'm so glad we found it. It's super fun picking between all the options. The kids love getting to do stuff like this... It's messy, but so good! And so worth it. :)
google avatar

Nick P.

Yelp
Stopped by Popbar since we were visiting Pacific City for the evening. Hubby and I each got the pistachio gelato bar with dark chocolate dipping and hazelnut pieces. It's a pricey popsicle bar but good. Definitely a great treat to have when you visit. They also offer validation here as well. However, we still prefer the Packing House location. We felt their gelato pop had better flavor.
google avatar

Sarina C.

Yelp
I used to like this place A LOT more than I do now, but it's still enough to satisfy my nostalgic popbar craving. I have always defaulted to getting a dark chocolate dip covered with pistachio or rainbow sprinkles and a white chocolate drizzle. So Instagrammable and delicious. On our most recent visit, the pistachio and honey lavender didn't really taste like their names. The nut toppings were grounded so finely that it's hard to actually taste the crunch/flavor despite it probably having more ability to stick. I was kind of grossed out to see that the white chocolate was light brown because of so much cross-dipping. For me, it's not really worth it unless it's summer I guess.
google avatar

Amy N.

Yelp
I love this place! I usually get the green tea ice cream or once in a while coconut ice cream. They are also good just by themself with no toppings. Today I got the green tea with white chocolate dip and coconut topping- sounds odd but delicious!!
google avatar

Julie S.

Yelp
What a fun place! There's Popbars in a bunch of malls and food courts around LA, but this is the only one I've tried. I love that they have a lot of vegan options - sorbet flavors and even vegan dark chocolate! It's a great treat on a warm beach day :) Seeing them dip your popsicle in chocolate and toppings right in front of you is pretty cool. It was a little bit of a mess - so if you have a nut allergy, be careful! Also, for a simple fruit popsicle, It is a little on the pricey side.
google avatar

Mary I.

Yelp
Mmm! I came for dessert and loved it ! I got a hazelnut bar with the sandwich cookies and dark chocolate dipping with pistachios. Very tasty. Would def go again and try another combination.

Solomon P.

Yelp
So delicious and refreshing after a day at the beach! Super nice staff! So many tasty choices!!
google avatar

Jeff S.

Yelp
Gelato on a stick and tons of toppings...worth every penny. Gr eww at service as well...but hidden inside the food plaza. Must try place.
google avatar

Denise B.

Yelp
This is one of my favorites when I come to Pacific City. Popbar is located inside Lot 579. They have a good variety of flavors to choose from. I love their peanut butter gelato pop. You can choose to dip it and add toppings.
google avatar

Luli L.

Yelp
This place is amazing!!!!!!! This is so magical! Had a brown Suger latte-YUMMMMM!!! The location is perfect! Don't get distracted bu the coffee shop near by, Go here it's worth it!! More options!!!!
google avatar

Michelle D.

Yelp
Family owned piece of heaven. Amazing desserts. Thank you for working so hard to bring us your treats
google avatar

Tyler T.

Yelp
I had the pistachio dipped gelato bar here and for about $5, it was acceptable for the area. That being said, the taste wasn't all that good, and coming here I'm basically doing it for the Instagram or Snapchat moment, not actually for the quality of the popsicle bar. The bar itself is nothing special, even a little icy in areas. It's dipped and looks nice, but taste wise it's rather empty, relying mostly on its looks for the enjoyment. Overall it's a pass except for that first time for the photo!
google avatar

Stefany V.

Yelp
Pop bar is poppin'! Had a family event in Huntington Beach and got through it largely by preplanning to reward myself with a stop here on the drive home. The Pac City Center is a cool shopping/dining area with plenty of options, but Popbar is tucked into Lot 579's food court, in a back corner. If you don't know about it, you might be tempted to grab one of the many other treats you pass on your way- but don't! PB has several popsicle flavors to pick from (~10), then you pick a dip and add some crunch! I tried the peanut butter with milk chocolate and coconut for an Almond Joy feel but was surprised to like the matcha green tea with MINT CHOCOLATE and almonds even more. That mint chocolate made it, though, def recommend that choice. Price was reasonable enough, staff was friendly, small cute dining area available.
google avatar

Jin N.

Yelp
Awesome concept and fun! I got the green tea gelato pop, and made it into a popwich, sandwiched between two chocolate biscuits, dipped in white chocolate and milk chocolate, topped with waffle pieces and hazelnut. The other one was a mango sherbet dipped in white chocolate and covered with waffle pieces. I'm usually sweets over tart, so I clearly preferred the green tea popwich. It's definitely worth checking out to try.
google avatar

Janet R.

Yelp
Popbar and its deliciousness has been so kindly gracing us with all its yummy goodness in several locations! This HB location is nestled in the Pacific City Center inside Lot 579 food court where other cool eats reside. I ordered 5 pops and the total came out to be $24+ but all totally worth it! My favorites are the Banana and Dark Chocolate, half dipped in more dark chocolate and dipped in yummy pistachios! Popbar is definitely the perfect summer or anytime treat to enjoy and reflect on the beauty of the world lol.
google avatar

Sophie L.

Yelp
Popbar is a classic and although I never really think about getting popbar, whenever I do I'm never disappointed! The green tea "Kit Kat" flavor is always my go to, it's a matcha green tea bad covered in chocolate, rolled in waffle cone pieces and topped with white chocolate drizzle. YUM! The bar style ice cream makes it so easy to eat, super convenient to eat while walking around haha. We tried the coconut cookie option and it was good too if you like coconut.

Catherine T.

Yelp
Big shout out to the lovely lady who helped me even though it was a few minutes past closing on Friday evening! Very kind and more than happy to give us the vanilla sundae pop bar, which was yummy. Would come back
google avatar

Veronica C.

Yelp
Refreshing Dipped Fruit, Gelato & Ice Cream Bars I enjoyed the passion fruit Popsicle fully dipped in chocolate and covered with almonds. Next time I will try a 1/2 dip with a topping. There are many selections of fruit, gelato or ice cream bars so you may get carried away by which one you want to try. They do validate here which is great if you're spending a few hours shopping in Pacific City or plan to eat too. This place is located inside Lot 579 where most of the food and dessert is where you can take a break from shopping or just walking around. The Popsicle is a very simple and delicious dessert to cool you off or can be a refresher booster if you're feeling low in energy suck on a Popsicle. It has less calories it won't ruin your diet being just a Popsicle of ice cream, gelato or fruit.
google avatar

Karen T.

Yelp
My friends and I bought 4 drinks from here and they all exceeded our expectations. Customer service is really good too.
google avatar

Hannah N.

Yelp
I think the concept of a personalized dipped popsicle bar was new and exciting when it first opened. Don't get me wrong, the product is made with high quality ingredients from what I can taste. In my opinion, there is a disparity between what you pay vs the amount / taste of what you eat. I think the biggest attraction for me to Popbar is the "instagrammable" treat you will get. It is visually delightful.
google avatar

Michelle S.

Yelp
After Hans refused to serve our 3 year old at 10:02 (they closed at 10:00) and was in tears walking away, we stumbled across this place! Popbar also "closed" at 10:00, but he saw us coming and didn't refuse us! Not only was the staff so welcoming, the hand dipped gelato bars were AMAZING!! Great customer service and yummy treats! Thanks again, you made her night!
google avatar

Char G.

Yelp
I always order the green tea with drizzled dark chocolate, hazelnuts, almonds, and pistachios. And when I've enjoyed every single bite, I dream of the next time we'll meet again. Glad this isn't close to me. Lol
google avatar

Bijou N.

Yelp
This far exceeded my expectations and was absolutely delicious. 100% will return. PARKING: they validate! You need to park downstairs tho unlike stupid me who parked upstairs and had to pay $3 for 30 min of parking. WAY too expensive T___T AMBIENCE: Popbar is tucked away in the LOT. There's the very cute wall of Popsicles, and a lot of open space. Lots of other places to check out too SERVICE: my sister and I had never been here before but the server was very patient and sweet, walking us through how the whole thing worked. A standard popbar is $4 including the preset menu ones. If you want unlimited toppings it's 50 cents and 50 cents for unlimited chocolate dips too. FOOD: my sister and I were a little bewildered at so many options so we ended up going with the preset ones. My sister ordered the green tea kitkat popbar which she loved and I got the ferrer rocher one! AMAZING. My popbar was a hazelnut and chocolate gelato bar dipped in milk chocolate, covered in hazelnuts and waffle cone pieces, and drizzled with white chocolate. SO good. The texture was creamy and rich and I felt like I was eating a ferrer rocher in all honesty. The only complaint I had was that the gelato seemed to be melting very quickly and got all over my clothes. But overall delicious! My sister was so happy with her popbar and I loved mine.
google avatar

Lynn N.

Yelp
Now I get it. I can see clearly now...why there is always a line at Popbar. This is their newest location in HB at Pacific City. I'm familiar with them from their other "long lines" location at the Anaheim Packing District. This one is a little smaller and not as busy. Still a line, but there's a plus to that. Use the time to see what others are ordering. You can get some good ideas! Here's how it works. It all starts with a Popsicle base, which I decided not to go with the sorbet, but for the creamy flavor instead, $3.99. And then for fifty cents extra you get unlimited dipping options and for another fifty cents extra you get unlimited toppings. I just went for it and decided to make My Ultimate Matcha Popbar. That's right. I capitalized it. It's official. I figure I've been holding out this long to see what all the hype is, so why not? 5 stars - Green tea matcha bar. Dipped all the way in milk chocolate. One side topped with coconut flakes and the other side topped with crushed waffle cone. Then I sealed up the goodness with a drizzle of caramel chocolate. It was delicious! The matcha flavor was not afraid of being matcha and had a good strong flavor. The chocolate with the coconut and waffle cone topping was a perfect complement. You gotta try this combo!! Overall, I made my ultimate bar because I didn't think I would need to go back. I thought I'd experience it once and be good. Yeah, I was wrong. I'm already craving it. I'll be back for another bar. Or two.
google avatar

Jason G.

Yelp
Less 2 stars for finding pistachio shells in nuts on 2 separate occasions. Keep losing a star until you fix it.
google avatar

Steve R.

Yelp
Very very different! We had a cheesecake pop which is absolutely delicious and one they deemed a mistake. It's a passion fruit popsicle which is very sour dipped in dark chocolate that made it just sweet enough. This was far from a mistake! That you to the staff.

Aaron S.

Yelp
Great Palletas for reasonable pricing. Love the selection and ability to change which dip you want.
