The 11 Best Bakeries In Paris 2024 - Paris - The Infatuation

"After macarons, the chou—a cream-filled puff pastry—might be the most popular single-bite treat in Paris. This chain has 10 locations around town, and they sell choux in a huge range of flavors, like lemon, salted caramel, raspberry cheesecake, and seasonal specials like tarte tatin in autumn. Its Italian-leaning name stems from the old legend that Queen Catherine de Medici brought over an Italian pastry pioneer to perfect the bite-sized cream puff. And while you can, indeed, pop a whole one in your mouth, two bites may be best." - Sara Lieberman

Very nice choux. The coffee and salted caramel flavours were great. This shop only has choux and nothing more. The only downside to me was that there was almost no place to eat inside. Two people occupied the chairs and there was no room for the third person. Prices were high

We enjoyed coffee, pistachio, vanilla, and caramel pate a choux. All were amazing—perfectly sized, not too small or too large. The only one I found too sweet for my taste was the pistachio, and I usually love anything pistachio-flavored. Overall, a delightful experience!

I had lemon and pistachio ones. They are very cute to look at and I liked the taste as well. However, they were a little too sweet for my taste.

Food Delicious profiteroles. The choux was light and flavourful, with a delicious creamy filling. Service The server was helpful in picking out flavours to try. Ambience A nice white interior with a cute neon pink sign! Price A bit pricey for profiteroles but I think they are a special treat!

I got a box of six; caramel, praline, strawberry, vanilla, pistachio and lime. Usually caramel is the favorite flavor for me but at Popelini praline was the clear winner. Pistachio was my second favorite. (Caramel was kind of bland) They are rich in flavor and not too sweet as the eclairs in other places. Don't get me wrong, these are sweet- just not as much to the point that you lose your appetite.
