At some point upper management / franchise owners need to step in and fix a blatant issue . This location severely suffers its drive through times at night . I waited 15 minutes just to get to the drive through speaker to be told to wait . Wait several more minutes I order , takes around another 3-4 to get to the drive through window . I’m asked to pull up and wait 4 more minutes for wings alright cool they’ll be fresh atleast . Wait 4 minutes the girl comes out and tells me to pull further down they pull someone else behind me wait another 5 minutes girl comes out and ask me to pull all the way down to the end so they continue to pull several cars behind me. This management is an absolute joke and this will become another fast food place closed because they can’t drive business because they have no standards.

Ms. Toni was excellent and her team, they are what I like to call a team. They work well together and Ms. Toni the manager is very patient. She praised them when they did well. She gave me a complimentary lemonade for the wait. Their service was excellent and the food was good and fresh. I will be back.

I’ll start by saying that everyone is always very polite but that’s the only good thing I have to say. It is unacceptable to have customers sitting in the drive thru for 30+ minutes in the August heat, and then never even bring food out. I placed a mobile order and after waiting for half an hour I called and also the store to cancel. They told me I had to do so through the app. And the app will not cancel the order, only give me a coupon for the amount. This is stealing money from your customers. Why on earth would I want a coupon back to a place that has consistently been terrible? I have low expectations for all Popeyes but this location takes the cake. Yall only do one thing, chicken!! Raising Canes or chicfila do the same and they couldnt make you wait 30 minutes if they TRIED. I wouldn’t be mad if there was some communication, but it should not be up to the customer to decide they have to leave after they’ve already paid. Also take a scroll at all their responses to upset customers. They are obviously using chatgpt to try to put out fires rather than actually making any changes. The owners obviously don’t actually care. Also newsflash: anyone with a brain can detect AI when used, so maybe stop wasting the water. Memphis has enough to deal with without you using generative AI rather than using your brain to actually reply. Maybe look up the environmental impacts of AI, and how it’s a Memphis. Try not to use chatgpt for your research 💕

I ordered tenders, and they gave me chicken nugget size pieces that were hard as rocks. They gave me the scraps they are to throw away. The sides were cold, room temperature at best, and they were out of slaw, which seems to be always. The biscuit was as hard as the chicken and went in the trash. I love Popeys, but this is getting to be the norm and too many other chicken places in the south that serve good chicken. The manager made the excuse that all of his tenders were frozen, and that was all he had. So you sell me scraps?? This is about the 3rd time this has happened to me at various Popeys. Bye bye Popeys.......

So, the brilliant operational management at Popeyes (at least the one in Bartlett) does not allow you to come into the restaurant to order food. That's not new- many fast food restaurants still do this since covid. It's lazy- they don't have to have as mush staff and they don't have to keep the restaurant clean. Though aggravating, the work around for the customer at least is that you can order on line and pick up. That's cool right? Well, NOT IF THEY DON'T LET YOU IN THE RESTAURANT AND YOU STILL HAVE TO SIT IN THE DRIVE THRU TO PICK UP YOUR FOOD!!!!! ANNNNND, if you say, just refund my money ( because if you order online, you have to pay at the time you order right?!) they tell you, they can't refund at the store because you paid on line, so that's how you have to get your money back! So, now you have to sit in the line or be further aggravated by spending weeks getting your money back if you leave AND you still wouldn't have any food Who thought this was a good idea or good business?? And when we tried to ask about the process, the "manager" told us to "get our asses back in line and that he had called the police" I will be visiting this location on Monday to talk with management. The level of customer service in this city is Abysmal at any place other than the highest of establishments! Restaurant#7096

Do not come here unless you want to burn every ounce of gas in your tank. After waiting 15-20 minutes in the drive-thru line, since placing an order inside is not allowed. I get to the speaker, and the staff member is constantly walking away or not paying attention in the middle of me saying my order, literally right after they ask me what I want. This happened no more than 3 times in the span of 2 minutes. When I finally get to the window to pay for my food, the staff member has my debit card for five minutes, just to tell me their card reader has stopped working and they're now accepting cash payments only. I'd be the biggest FOOL in Memphis, to go withdraw cash and have to wait back in that line!

What a let down... I found the new Nuggets a great addition to the menu! I've purchased numerous orders, but from a different location. That's where I should have gone! To the other location! Two problems... Quality of nuggets and paying for 48 and only receiving 24! The quality of the nuggets at this location are pathetic. Greasy and looking old... I have not yet tasted them, but they are not appealing, more like appalling.... And getting shortchanged what I paid for! Shame on you! I stated who I was and how many were ordered (48) and you delivered HaLF what I paid for! I'm not going back to this location! Not worth the crap-shoot!

This is the first time in a while that we even attempted to eat Popeyes because the line is always waaaay too long and in the past, you couldn't even go in to pick up your online order, you had to wait in the drive through line. Crazy! But we decided to place an online order yesterday since it was early enough to beat the church crowd. I think that was a mistake because not only did we only get 6 of the 8 pieces that come with our meal, they were small and dry and so were the biscuits. Probably left over from the day before. Yuck! Also, why don't they offer the chicken sandwich? It's literally tenders and a bun. We will be spending the extra and going to Gus's from now on. Or even the Kroger deli is better.

Terrible service. You can get your order skipped and ignored for 20-30 minutes while standing at the counter waiting. Doesn't make sense how others who ordered after are getting served first when all the food is sitting there hot and ready

I would not recommend this franchise at all!!! If I could give it no stars, that is exactly what I would do. Be weary of this location if you are ordering ! Ordered through the Popeyes app and our dasher stated that the establishment is closed. We decided to call the establishment since it stated in the site that it closes at 10 pm. The person who picked up hung up on us abruptly. We also called the customer service and the first representative we got in contact with also hung up on us.

All these reviews from over a year ago and to be honest service was pretty fast like less than 3 minutes but we did not go through drive-thru but the food was great fries were good and chicken was really good and the workers aren't good but aren't bad just in the middle you know?i recommend this place because I used to go to places like Burger King but I'm going to start going to this place

Rude employees and even horrible manager. After waiting in line for 30 mins or more, I had to argue with the employee about what I could and could not order, even if I was willing to pay more. The manager took over and gave me exactly the opposite that was on the ticket. The rude young lady stood back and laughed the whole time so she knew that he was giving me what I didn't want. I usually Dont go to this location and will never return. Bad customer service. Really surprise in the Bartlett area.

I'm just not sure what's going on with this Popeyes. One day you come by here and it's drive-thru only. And then the next time you come by here it's lobby only, no drive thru. And then you come by a third time and it's drive-thru only again. And the drive thru is slow (pretty much the story of all "fast" food today). I understand if they're short on staff, but just make it drive-thru all the time.

I ordered thru the app for pickup at the counter. When I arrive, they're closed for "bereavement". I couldn't get anyone to come to the door or anything. So after I've been charged for my meal to feed 6 people, someone finally comes out to tell me to ask for a refund on the app and that they don't know how to go about doing so. If you're gonna close, update your sites!!! Never visiting this location again

Save yourself the trouble and do not go here. Service is close to terrible on a regular day without all the "chicken sandwich" hype. It's a BAD idea for a company to drum up publicity and increase business when they are barely able to handle their regular workload. On Thursday 8/22/19, entered drivethru at 422, behind the car at the speaker, with 4 cars in line total. Finally was able to pull up to the speaker at 437 (it took that long for ONE car to move) and it took 25 minutes total to be served (sadly this is not too much longer than normal for them). Then one of our sides was not included (we even asked "did you get the potatoes? Are the potatoes in the bag?" and we were told that they were). We also were given mild strips instead of the spicy strips that we ordered. We went inside. It took another 10+ minutes to box up some chicken and potatoes. The worst part was the person at the register told the guy trying to help me "uh uh...no no no...what are you doing we have to take care of these customers not the drive thru mess up." Moral of the story: this place does not deserve your money/business. This is one place that couldn't afford for their service to get any worse, yet they managed to pull that off by talking smack on twitter about a chicken sandwich - now apparently people in the trenches are doing an even worse job serving customers and they can't keep the sandwich in stock either

If there was an option for 0 stars, I would do that. This place has the slowest service ever. Whether you order online or at the drive thru, they'll get your order wrong and overcook everything but the biscuits. Beyond disappointing. While you have your long wait you can see the workers standing around laughing as they let your chicken burn to a crisp and then let it sit out in the cold before handing it to you stale. Would recommend people to drive to the Macon location instead. The difference in drive time and wait time will probably make it the same amount of time spent anyways.

i would not recommend coming here! for starters we had to wait 30 minutes just to get to the speaker, then the woman taking our order was awfully rude! she got mad that my dad was stuttering and that his words weren't "clear enough". after that horrendous experience, when we got to the window to pick up our food the gurl giving us our order said "we spat in the food" i dont know if this was true or she was pranking us but thats not something you expect to hear at any fast food chain. then to top that all off, we were missing half out order. 0/10 would not recommend!!

This location is extremely slow every time we've been here so this is our last time. We arrived in the drive thru at 12:15 on Sunday. And finally got our order at 12:50. Our order was correct today but we have received wrong orders many times here. I would hope that management would read these reviews and improve this location. It is the one most convenient for us, but we will drive longer to get better service.

I went to try Popeyes for the first time last night. Wanted to try the chicken sandwich that everyone was raving about. I was 3rd in line in the drive through and 15 minutes later I finally arrived at the ordering area only to be told they were closed. It was 10:31 and their listed hours were through 11:00. I guess the staff had plans to be somewhere last night. Horrible experience.

I waited in drive-thru line for 20 minutes. When I get to the window they informed me that they were only taking cash. The cashier then asked me "didn't they tell you that when you made your order". I said "no they did not". She proceeded to close the window and talk to someone who I'm assuming is the manager. She then came back out to the widow and said "they did tell you?". I said "wow" and politely drove off. I will be contacting upper management in the morning

Today we ordered in the drive thru, the employee didn't get our order right and read it back to us. Tried to fix her misunderstandings but got the same result. Pulled up and explained the order again and asked her to repeat it. She said our order was correct but when you look on the receipt she still had extra food on the order that we didn't order. We were at the point forget it we will just take what she rang us up for. She gives us the food and still is missing one of the combos we originally ordered. This is the last time we go back to this location due to crappy service

Was dissatisfied with my experience here. The drive thru service was terrible. Waited half an hour for my order. I ordered a 10 piece chicken combo and was told that they had it ready but even asked me to pull over to the side of the restaurant for a minute. There were 3 cars before me parked and waiting as well. As 2 cars left, 2 more cars came behind me but got their orders and left. 2 of us were left waiting for our orders. I'm sure the other customer was fed up waiting as well. we both drove up the drive thru. I was the last car and as soon as I got there they had my order in hand ready to give me. I just realized that they did not deliver out any orders to the parked cars and made everyone drive up to the window to pick up their order. I was not even told or aware and waited half an hour long. I have always experienced workers walking out to deliver orders to parked cars for those who had to wait. I usually have patience with bad service but had to write a review for this one. Chicken was soggy and not fresh. Box was crumpled and torn. Highly disappointed and so dissatisfied.

I visited this Popeyes on 6/1/2020. The Dining room was still closed due to COVID-19. The drive through line was about 20 cars long. Service was very very slow. Many cars in front of me left due to the long wait. Ironically the sign posted in the window said drive thru was fast. I was hungry and tired of home cook food so I waited . I did not received the corn I requested and paid for and the chicken was cold and greasy. I would not suggest going to this location. The employees was not well supervised as they were seen just standing around laughing and talking while I waited for my order. Zero stars. Poor management.

About 40 minutes later I received a call from the delivery driver telling me when he went to pick it up they told him they were not filling or accepting any orders. Had a very hungry two year old waiting. Don't accept orders if you can't fill them.

Surprised me that no enthusiasm toward customers and had an attitude because I had ordered a water and she forgot and I had to ask for it. Only got three cause of the warm sandwiches otherwise gotten a one. Customer service needs to prioritize in dealing with customers.

Our group enjoys going to this Popeye's location quite often. The chicken is very tasty and we have a good time. However, at times the staff is not completely "on their game". It seems to take awhile to get our order most every time and there are not many folks in the restaurant. We're just glad the chicken is so good.

This location is always slow (usually orders food at 2pm) there's always a 20 min wait at the drive thru and ur food would either be hot or stale. This time I order from doordash after 30 mins I got a text from doordash saying "Your order from Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen has been cancelled because the store is unable to fulfill ur order." Just horrible. Beware of the Popeyes in Bartlett on Stage Rd. I ended up driving to the one on Macon to get my food, they were much faster, the food was hot, and they got my order correct. Someone needs to fix the Bartlett store, the team is horrible.

This place is horrible. I have been their 5 times and was unsuccessful every time at getting something to eat. 1. The line was so slow I waited 30 mins without the line moving so I let. 2. Most inept staff. It's lunch time on a Sunday and they don't have spicy chicken! How do you NOT keep chicken prepared on Sunday at noon? The last time I was here they told me it would be 12 minutes for some spicy chicken strips. Apparently they didn't tell the guy cooking in the back because 30 minutes later I still didn't have my chicken. Then I got home after spending $30 and didn't have ANY biscuits. If they didn't have such good chicken I definitely wouldn't come here. Terrible service. If there is another Popeyes near you, I'd go there. The Bartlett location is terrible.

One of the better Popeye's locations in the city. Every time I go here I get exactly what I ordered, I get it quickly, and its always fresh. I've not had a bad experience here once, save or maybe a less then enthusiastic employee. But to be honest when it comes to fast food at the drive through, what I really care about is fast service, fresh and hot food, and that my order was made the way I asked it to be. So if the employee isn't overly excited then I can live with it, but for the most part the service is pretty good for a fast food place.

One of, if not the worst Popeyes locations I've ever had the displeasure to go to. Have given them multiple chances to be decent as they are close to my home and easy to get to. They consistently mess up my orders, mess up taking the order, rush you through the ordering process, and always request that you pull forward to wait for your food even when there's no line. They seem to never have anyone working the till that knows how to use it. Always interrupting you when you order as well. Go to any other Popeyes and avoid this one like the plague. You'll get better and kindee service at any other location.

Really really like popeyes but what gives with the drive thru?? In the last week, I have been through the drive-through 4 times, due to my teenage son. Each time has been a 10 to 20 minute wait, parking you past the drivethru. Two days in a row, they were out of chicken strips. That's what they sell, chicken...there's typically a wait although for a shorter time and they're very focused on moving you through the line so their times look good, I guess for corporate, but it's an inaccurate view of the service. Ive had had to walk into of those four times and asked for the food, one time it was in the bag, sitting under the heater while the folks were working to serve the current customers in the drive-through. About done with this...

I decided to use the online for in store pickup tonight. I placed my order then headed to Popeyes. About half way there I clicked on the I'm Here button. I arrived a few minutes later about 6:01pm CST. After 40 minutes of patiently waiting see other walk-in customers order and leave before I received my order, I ask the cashier how much longer it would be. I gave her my name and she stated that she could not see my name on the orders. That was the first problem. Then I told her what I ordered. Apparently they gave my order to the DoorDash driver. Second problem. So they started remaking my order and bagging it. At the end the young lady tried to seal the bag and told her I wasn't a delivery service and that I personally ordered the food for my family. She stated that my order came up as a DoorDash order. Third problem. This biggest problem of all is that me sitting there for 40 minutes no one asked if I was helped. All staff was talking and joking with each other, manager wasn't managing. Cashier ask for ones so that she could give another customer her change. After about 5 minutes of waiting on the manager she gave the customer quarters. They also ran out of Sweet Tea and did not even consider making some for the customers who asked for it. This is just sad. There is a reason why fast food people make minimum wage and that is because they do a minimum job. I will not eat at that Popeyes ever again. This was first time in a while because the last time we ordered from there we had issues then as well. From the start of this order Popeyes has failed to satisfy this customer. I will post this on social media and review websites in hopes that the next customer never has to experience this poor service as I did.

First of all, let me just say that I love Popeyes, and it pains me to write this review. I guess I'll start off with how unpleasant the staff is. Not only am I always the first person to have to say anything when I go through the drive through, but I usually have to wait a couple minutes for a response. I have to repeat my order at least 3 times EVERY time I go through. When I pull up to the window, I'm not greeted with friendly service. I'm waiting to talk to the cashier until they're done goofing around with their coworkers to even get a word in. Despite repeating that I wanted a LARGE side FIVE times, I still got a regular. Hasn't been the first time. Sometimes, I don't even get what I ordered. If you have ONE lane for your drive through, I shouldn't have to tell you what I ordered again. And for a fast food chicken restaurant, how are you going to never have chicken ready? I've waited for my meal for at least 10 minutes basically every time I've gone. This location is trash, and some of the employees are okay. Most of them are unfriendly and clearly don't want to be there, or deal with you. Louisiana Fast? More like Louisiana Trash. Do better.

Probably the worst fast food location around. I've visited this location at various times of the day and they never have food. You always have to wait for them to cook your food or accept a substitute. It's not a real busy location so I don't think the food availability issue is due to volume. Employees simply don't seem to care.
