Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

It was my first and last time going here. I stopped here after leaving the mall. I ordered in the app for a 2 can dine with a med./reg cola. When I arrived at the restaurant I proceeded through the drive thru to collect my ordered. The girl handed me my bag but as she handed me my drink I noticed it was a small. I brought it to her attention at which she told me they don't sell medium only small and large. She asked me to show her in the app where it says they sell medium. And wanted to charge me 1 dollar to get a large. We went back and forth for a minute until I got fed up. I pulled over to the side to check my food. Well it was old, cold, greasy and refried. The only thing the was hot was the overcooked biscuits. Never again I went there to save some money by not going to the one in the mall, because we all know mall food gets pricey. I honestly don't know how they are rated a 4.0.

I believe it was enough to visit them once. I saw a family deal in 22$ when I got in she said 32$, then I explained her she said ok. I got my food came home. 1. Food was fried twice and too much oily 🫩🤢. 2. Chicken was so much hard from inside. 3. It was nice to see when there was no condiment. With whole deal. Finally I couldn’t eat at all. Thank you Popeyes.

Had been promising to take the BF to try the chicken sandwich. This location is attached to a small strip mall. Parking is good as there are a few spots directly outside the Popeyes and then more spots available at the strip mall. There was no line, service was quick and efficient. There was a little wait for the food, but everything did come out nice and hot. The BF and I shared some mac and cheese and a strawberry lemonade (very sweet but yummy). The restaurant was pretty clean and well maintained.

Always great food & service every time I go. Very attentive & passionate about what they do especially the manager I believe Sajid. Food is always hot & fresh down to the biscuits being soft every time. The best Popeyes in New Jersey that I’ve been to. Especially the very best in Elizabeth. Great job keep it up! Just come down on the prices.

I had a great experience at Popeyes. The food was served super fast, fresh, and delicious. The service team was quick and efficient, which made everything smooth. Definitely recommend this location!

If you don’t ask for condiments, they will not give you any!!! Who eats these biscuits without any honey or jelly?!! So annoyed. They also charged me for a 5piece tender and I requested a 3 piece tender. Then I asked for a single chicken leg and they charged me for a chicken leg and biscuit.. SMH!!!! Food was also cold !! So annoyed.

I really love Popeyes so much but the only thing that I really don’t like and I have not gotten from Popeyes for a while because they never have the popcorn shrimp available anymore. I just don’t understand why it’s my favorite meal from them and I never am able to get it mind you I am pregnant and it’s very sad.

Being from south Texas I thoroughly expected a Popeyes in NJ to have bland chicken as happens in so many places. This popeyes chicken is fresh, hot and excellent. I have been here twice and it was the same both times. Beats out Popeyes I have been to in Louisiana by a long shot.
