02JUL23 ~ It is easy to give five stars when they serve the best fried chicken, I like the spicy white chicken, I have ever had. The chicken is normally hot & spicy, thoroughly cooked, moist, and with a crispy/crunchy & tasty crust. This visit did not disappoint. The young guy that took my order was genuinely friendly, well spoken, and helpful. The young woman that gave me my chicken was also very nice and well spoken. I do not know their names but the receipt showed my 'host' as 'Jasmine'. Thank you for the good combination of food and staff. It was really hot today & this was a nice lift in my day.

Ordered two chicken dippers combo and 3 piece white combo. My order was ready soon as I pulled up to pay. I’m like that’s kind of too QUICK anyway Got home chicken were spoiled. Called NO ANSWER! Host that sold me chicken her name is Akia as it shows on my receipt. Long story short, I took food back with receipt and Akia had an NASTY ATTITUDE. She stated she is not giving me my money back out her register as if I had NO PROOF OF PURCHASING. She threw my receipt to her co worker and did not come resolve matter after the lady said this was your ticket with your name on it she said SO…..I told Akia I will be back to speak to Ms Janice someone that’s OVER you DO NOT EAT FROM HERE!!!!!!!! AKIA NEED JESUS

Service was horrible and so was the food. Went thru the drive thru received spicy chicken instead of mild. Chicken was hard and nasty!! No spoon in the bag to eat side with. When I went back in they were just walking pass looking nobody asked if I needed help! Everyone had an attitude down to the cook!! Will never eat at this location again!!

This establishment is by far the best Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen I have Patronize! As I entered this location doors I notice how clean the dining room area was and also how the staff members was enjoying there job. Mr.Zachary greeted me by say "Welcome to Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen" how can I help you today....IMPRESSIVE! I liked that Mr.Zachary repeated what I was ordering back to me which made me happy. I was also greeted by the manager named Ms.Kena which was very professional and made sure all the orders was correct and each guest leaves happy! Ms.Kena goes out her way to make sure that her staff is getting the orders in and out in a timely manner (Hot and Fresh)!!! The lobby was very clean and inviting thats why I come to this location only! I highly reccommend my followers and family and friends to visit this location and make this location your go to for Chicken or the Red Beans& Rice or any special events.

The woman working the drive thru Friday had an attitude from hell , claimed to be the manager on duty and was wearing slides, not shoes. (I have pictures)

My order was prepared wrong and missed an item. I was given three Spicy chicken sandwiches instead of two spicy and one classic. It did not live up to the hype. My order was missing a large mash potatoes and gravy.

Good food and attentive management and kitchen staff. They made me feel right at home. And of all the fast food franchises, Popeye’s has the best biscuits, hands down!

Janice the manager did an awesome job at getting my food ready. Food is always on point!

Minus the 30 minute order wait, life is great. I waited because I didn't feel like going to another location. I typically am home cooked or a delivery app kinda guy, but decided to try my hand at it. This really is a last resort option, for someone with no other options available. The drive thru only had 4 cars and they took forever to move. I finally make it to the speaker and sat 1 song length, no acknowledgement. I say "hello" and they ask me to wait. 2 songs later and they forgot I was there. Feeling like it's too late to turn back, I braved the storm. I almost pulled off, then I finally hear a greeting. I placed an order for 1 meal and a separate order of ghost pepper wings. I finally make it to the window and there's another wait like in between all of this time, no one was able to catch up? I get a bag with one box in it. I do a quick scan and see the wings, but don't see the tenders. These people put the wings and tenders (two separate meals) in one box. And the lady assisting the window guy had the biggest attitude telling him that it was all in a box. Needless to say, this is my que to stick to my chef quality meals. People always ask why Chickfila is my only fast food choice and this is why. I definitely extend grace, due to short staffing or other issues. Looking at prior reviews, it seems this is an ongoing issue. And looking at other locations, it seems as this is common with Popeyes locations.

6 p.m. last Monday, door to the lobby was locked myself and two other customers got back in their cars. The other 2 cars drove away, I waited 10 minutes in line for the Drive-thru. I attempted to order ANY kind of Chicken Sandwich and was told they were out of Chicken! This isn't the first time during supper time (5 - 7 p.m.) that I have gone to this location and was told 'We're out of Chicken'! It's happened at least twice in the past 6 months.

What a dumpster fire. Apparently there is no testing for impaired employees. They let you sit at the drive up speaker for 5 minutes. So drive to window only to told we haven't gotten to you yet but can't order at window so have to get back in line. That should have been the clue. All 3 drinks were wrong, chicken was cold and sides looked old. Do everyone a favor and take the patient off life support

Attitude - horrible Appearance - horrible Food - food was good Price - value was good 11/4/22 inside is still closed. Drive through only and on average the wait is close to 15 minutes per car. I ordered large mashed potato, small fries, and a large drink. No "Fast" food here, slow and steady wins the race.

Of only I could give zero stars. I wouldn't recommend this place strictly due to staff. The inside is closed... no posted signs anywhere. Wait about 15 minutes to go through drive thru only to be told that it'll be another 15-25 minutes before they can take your order. & the don't accept mobile orders... I don't know why they need that much time of the o my customers were drive thru?!?!?!! There were a total of 3 cars including myself.

They never ask what we need. Always missing order and very racist. I was being shock because how they talk and action

Couldn't even review the food, because it took forever to get service. We waited in the drive-theu line for about fifteen minutes. No answer, so we left the place. When we turned the corner, we saw the drive-thru employee casually hanging out with someone by the door. Would never come back here, plenty of other locations to get Popeyes at.

if I could give zero stars I would. I do not recommend DO NOT GO HERE!, I've never experienced this level of unprofessionalism. the guy taking orders was talking to people in the back ground completely ignoring my order, the conversation was so appealing that he never came back to intercom after repeated "hello's" so I never finished my order and waiting I pulled off and hear him yelling out the window at me I couldn't make out what was said neither did I care I will never in this life or the next go to this location again there's no telling how they are handling the food if they are allowed to behave this way Popeyes must do better!

This popeyes should be closed DOWN! The worst experience I had in my whole life.First off how can yal sell burnt chicken the chicken! one of the chickens was completely burnt the other smelled so burned made my stomach hurt.I waited 45 WHOLE MINUTES FOR MY FOOD okay bc this Popeyes is slow AF I watched 3 customers get out of line! then when I finally made it to the speaker to make my order the toddlers that worked there were laughing and joking on the speaker never even asked what I wanted for my order I had to drive to the window.If it wasnt for the fact I had a pick up order that I made 45 minutes ago that I STILL HAD TO WAIT FOR I would've left. Whhole night shift needs to be let go the attTUDE the the service everything was terrible NEVER AGAIN!

What's the point of having access to a order online service if I still have to wait in a drive through line .. very pointless.

Popeyes doin' WORK! If you read my last review, then you will understand why I hadn't returned to this Popeyes until tonight. I didn't feel like driving very far for dinner, so I thought I'd give this Popeyes another chance. After all, I was only ordering a couple of sides, so if they screw it up it's not a huge loss. I popped in and I decided to just go inside rather than wait in the long drive through line. First of all, I was greeted immediately upon walking in. Then I gave my order- one large red beans and rice and one large mac and cheese. Service was fast and efficient and there was no wait. Here's the big news: they filled the sides all the way to the TOP, y'all! They topped them off! I'm talking a full container! Look, this is HUGE. Popeyes is always trying to hold back on the goods, but not tonight. TOPPED. OFF. Maybe it was a fluke, but I'm kicking them up two stars for fast friendly service and delivering on the sides.

Popeyes regardless of which location in Louisiana are all trash with their amazingly undefeated crap service. Took my money without fail and gave me a completely wrong order. Asked for extra gravy, charged me about a dollar, gave me an attitude when I asked them why I receive a container with a baby spoon full of gravy. Ya'll that cheap on the gravy? Fighting customers in the store when they ask for more honey for their biscuits like your career depends on it.

It's a shame that this is my neighborhood location and I have to drive past it to go to other Popeyes just to get what I pay for and better service. When ever I do go to the Popeyes at this location they ALWAYS cheat me out of what I pay for. They never fill the container of red beans or black eyed peas or mashed potatoes or mac and cheese. I'm unsure if they are struggling, but I have complained about this several times. I even went so far as to empty the contents into the smaller container they gave my son for his kid's meal and that's when things really hit the fan. It was the same amount. They are actually giving the same amount. How do they think people won't notice? They charge extra for everything, knowing one pack of sauce isn't enough for 5 tenders. On top of that, their wait times are long as hell. It's ridiculous. So sick of this, I'm calling corporate.

This place is attitude is absolutely HORRIBLE. If there was a way to rate negative stars I would!! I went to get a meal and tried to coupon and was welcome with a "WHICH ONE..WHICH PRICE " then When I barely finished my 1st order, the worker said "OKAY SOMETHING ELSE". I couldn't even start my second order without him cutting me off with "OKAY AND WHAT SIDES", then I when I asked if it was combo I couldn't get a response. While asking for a drink a lady cuts in saying "WE DONT GOT NO DRINKS JUST CHICKEN AND FRIES" and that was the final straw we ended up leaving the restaurant... i think if we would've stayed our food would've been cold and spit in.

Most of the time when I come to this Popeyes it is HOT GHETTO MESS!!! But this time I was surprised... the chicken was fresh and I didn't have to wait a very long time before I received my order. I purchased a 3pc meal. Much to my surprise the food was excellent. It was hot, fresh and correct! So for this day it was not a hot mess! It was actually pretty good!

HORRIBLE. That's all. I waited 30 minutes in the drive thru line just to be missing items when I got home. Never again.

Their website states that they're open until midnight. At 10:10 last night I pull up to order. Nothing. Sit there for a couple of minutes. Nothing. Pull around to the pick up window to be told that they are closed. When I ask why, I'm told their closing early because of COVID 19. It's a drive thru. BS. Went to Canes.

Best Popeyes in town. Always busy but well worth the wait. The managers truly understand great customer service. She deserves top pay! She can teach Marrero alot!

Y'all have an amazing employee, a young girl by the name of Renee. She is really an asset to your company. She went above and beyond for me and truly made me feel like a valued guest. I'm a restaurant manager and I know at times like this is hard to find any employees much less an amazing employee such as her. I had to wait 3 minutes for mild chicken she made sure my fries were fresh and offered me something to drink while I waited. She then went to get the chicken so I wasn't waiting longer than I had to. Best experience I've ever had. I will definitely be back just bc of her.

First we waited in a long line for little to no service , second I asked to take off my mash potatoes and large fry and I was told I cannot because it was a hassle. Popeyes is over priced and ghettto , workers running in and out to talk to people outside laughing and joking when there's a line of people on the street waiting for service . Not to mention there incredibly slow . Ghetto , slow , and overpriced . Thumbs down experience.

Each time I visit this Popeyes I get food that is cold, service that's cold and it taste old not to mention the chicken looks like it's been shrunken. They almost always screw up my order and they are quite stingy. It's a shame Popeyes when I was younger couldn't be beat, now it's horrible.

When you wait in line for 15+ minutes- It's not "fast" food. I could've ordered to go from a damn restaurant in this amount of time.

I ordered a 16 piece family meal and had to wait 9 minutes while they fried a mild batch. I got home and only had legs and thighs. No breasts or wing were included. I did not ask for dark only. I did not pay for dark only. I almost never get fast food and this is exactly why. Absolute incompetence!

Slow slow slow. I requested no breasts with my 11 piece and got 4 simple request I guess their employees thought they were being funny who knows but this location is horrible there's always something going on with it.

I don't think most of these reviews are fair. I go to this restaurant a couple times a month and order correct and people friendly. Never passed and the were not open when they are supposed to like one reviewer stated because no one showed up, but that did give me a chuckle. Did have a long wait but it was dinner time.

Worst Popeyes ever. The food always takes forever. Didn't even open on 6/23/19. No one showed up.

This was by far the worst experience I've ever had at a fast food restaurant. After ordering from the broken menu board at the drive through, I tried to pull up to the window. Another vehicle cut me off and beat me to the window. The person placed an order at the window. This forced everyone in the drive through line to have to wait a very long time. I asked why would they allow that behavior? No answer. I decided to eat elsewhere. Don't understand why they encourage this type of behavior.

Ahhh... the service and chicken was old and horrible.. I live next to here and it really sucks... they should upgrade something!

Is it possible to give them negative stars? This place is so ghetto! The manager is so rude and always give an attitude. She yells at her employees loudly in front of customers. Every time we come here they act like they are giving away food or something. I'm a paid customer and I hope they would treat us like it. I live down the street so its closest to my convenience but never seem to fail that they always talk rudely to us!!! The food always take forever and when they're lazy to grab something they always tell us that they're out of it.

Here's a tip for you! HAIRNETS, so you can prevent your food from being brought back to your store. I was so mad I couldn't see straight. They made it up by giving me a new batch of chicken & a family side. Before you leave there make sure you check your food so it to not have a hairy surprise.

We have stopped going to this Popeye's because they lack good customer service, the chicken is always very greasy, and our order was always lacking something. We live right near this Popeye's, but pass it up to go to the one in Terrytown.

Food is always good eating! But it lacks customer service. I'll come here once and a while to eat but never every go here to eat at night. Employee gets moody and an attitude.

Terrible customer service. She never acknowledged me during the entire transaction. Silently took my money, closed the window, opened it up again to hand me my order, all without one single word. Won't be going to that location again!
