Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

I ordered the 8 pieces; family pack. So, wings, legs, and thighs in all. Chicken pieces were good sizes. Also, 4 biscuits and my side order of beans and rice come in the meal. The meal cost $26.99. There was nothing special about it. The chicken tasted ordinary. The beans were okay. they could have been better with red rice. Anyhow, the food was hot and that was great. It is a bit expensive and there is no drink for the meal.

I have never been to Popeye's before. My daughter had the chicken sandwich and said it was delicious. They did give her Mac n cheese instead of mashed potatoes, but she didn't mind. I ordered strips, but they were somewhat tough to eat. It was as if they may have been sitting there for a minute before they served them. Everything else about our trip was great! The friendly red-headed man with the beard, in the drive thru, was very friendly and courteous. (I originally had a 3 star rating, but after close consideration, I changed it to a 4. Everything about our visit was positive except for the strips. Mistakes happen!! My daughter had actually mentioned that she'd prefer Mac n cheese, but I didn't see it on the menu. I assume the gentleman heard her and responded accordingly.) Thank you for reaching back out to me about my experience at your establishment.

Popeyes food is great. There is no doubt about that. The chicken is delicious. Their frying process is so much tastier than the grease that's used at so many other places. The staff however is not lightning quick. There is no incentive to go inside the restaurant, when service seems to be considerably quicker just to sit in the very long lines that are always wrapped around the building. It is again indicative of very good food, but the dining area is tiny and cramped, the front end service is far slower than the window service, and it is difficult to find enthusiastic service people. They are trying, I don't ever see anybody just sitting around being useless, and maybe my expectations are unfair, but as a man closing in on my 50's I remember a better time, being a service worker in a better time. Again the food is delicious, it is fast-food comfort food manifest. but the service and the build of these facilities is painful. I will continue to purchase your food in spite of the service and atmosphere. Maybe it's customers like me who are at fault because we don't demand better.

When you dine in, you get to eat the fried chicken right after it’s done (at least ours came out fresh) and it’s delicious at that time! The Mac n cheese is pretty darn cheesy and yummy, and we like the rice and beans too! It’s my favorite chain fried chicken place! Yum!

Absolutely not! Went here yesterday evening placed an online order. Went through drive thru told them I had an online order added an additional pie. Went around to the window and paid for the additional pie, and waited on my original online order. A few minutes go by the worker ask if I’m waiting on something else. I til told him yes my online order they bring a totally different order to the window after I had already gave them my name. So another few minutes go by and they finally find my order. Gets home and only one sauce three tiny chicken tinders no straw for the drink. It’s ridiculous smh!

It is kept clean and the employees are courteous and friendly. I love both the spicy bone in chicken, as well as the strips and nuggets. The fries are good, too, but they have the best red beans and rice in Tulsa. Sometimes there may be a short wait on chicken but I appreciate getting my food hot and fresh. Im not crazy about their potatoes and gravy or cole slaw but I do think their chicken is awesome.

Clean! Quick service and the food is fresh and hot. You can definitely feel the positive work culture in this franchise.

Take out again as we were nearby. The scenario was the same. I'm downgrading because of customer service. I remembered my regret over not getting those yummy looking strawberry biscuits. In hubby's hunger insanity he ordered 4! I don't know why we pulled over, but I was then compelled to check the order. This is a complaint I've recently seen on Yelp. We received NO biscuits. Instead they subbed those McDonalds type hand pies -- these were strawberry cheesecake, not biscuits, I was furious. Hubby checked on WHY they subbed without permission. Well, they don't have the biscuits anymore. Why aren't they just honest when you order, or before you pay? Why?

The lady who manages this place at night is a real winner. Takes my order wrong then proceeds to look at me like I'm the bad guy. Extremely unprofessional. On multiple occasions, always an issue when she's there. I'll never get anything from this cesspool again. You don't even deserve one star.

When I was in school, I frequented Popeyes on a regular basis every Tuesday for their Tuesday special. It was the best deal, not sure if it is still available. I think the fried chicken at Popeyes is really good, very crunchy and juicy. I particularly love their mashed potatoes with CAJUN gravy. This location has the quickest service I have gotten at Popeyes. The only complaint is I wanted dine-in but they put the food in a to-go bag. However, they do that with every orders. No biggie, I just stayed back and ate my food.

Always a wait but hey it's fresh and piping hot! Chicken tenders are my go to with the blackened ranch sauce! Mmmm red beans and rice good too! These chicken wings are my new thing! Love the ghost pepper Wings!!!! Order on the app for faster service.

Don't bother ordered the 3 piece all white combo. You will get two small wings and a brest. I suggest chicken express. If you order any size order and select all brest if you like.

How hard is it to put a chicken sandwich in the stinking bag? I paid for it, but you didn't care to READ the order. PATHETIC!

No one ever reviews fast food as good, but this Popeyes seriously impressed me. On a Friday night my food was ready in under 2 minutes and was super fresh! I will be driving across town for this one lol

So I always go to this location as it closest to my home in Owasso. Normally, I get great service. Today I drive through order chicken strips and they gave me regular fried chicken. I went back to this location to return it and get what I ordered. The assistant manager looked at me like I was a criminal or something. She very snotty tells the worker to take the chicken I brought back and throw it in the trash and replace it. Doesn't say to me sorry for the mix up but makes it obvious I wasn't leaving with that chicken she was trashing it. Okay then yells at them only 12 chicken strips in the box. I said what's the price difference she says that the chicken strips are more than the regular chicken I just said okay. I had no idea what they really charged me because they didn't give me a receipt or put in the bag. I should have payed more attention. Anyway, they did fix it, but not one person including the assistant manager said I'm so sorry let me fix it for you. These people in restaurants act like, you are just lucky they are there instead of welcome to Popeyes and we hope you come back. Very disappointed in the management at this location today. All I wanted was the order corrected and an apology because they screwed it up. It sad cause we probably won't go back. I wish they would put a location back in Owasso.

Didn't put my sauce in the back on my DoorDash order. Only reason I ordered from here instead of KFC was for the Sweet Heat sauce.

Rude employees, got my drive thru order wrong 3 times before I finally decided just to head home. It was just a fry and drink, tenders and a sandwich. Gave us 2 biscuits 2 fries, no drink no sandwich. The girl said they were right and I showed them my receipt, they she shoved the drink at me and closed the window. No sandwich, no tenders. If you're gonna go to Popeyes at least do yourself a favor and don't go to the 41st one. The young girl with the fake lashes was especially sassy, she needs to be either retrained or something because if that's how she talks to all her customers no wonder they're going downhill. Whoever was working there at 7:30pm on October 9th needs to be laid off or get a talking too, but I'm sure if this is what's happening now I don't think the manager even cares at this point.

Stopped by with my granddaughter to purchase a 16 piece meal, on the order board it says 16 piece meal, 3 sides 8 biscuits for 28.00 but after you order they tell you, 48.00! When questioned they admit in tiny letters it is chicken only! 3 cups of sides for 20.00? And unlike Kentucky Fried Chicken biscuits are extra! What a rip! Lost our business forever!

I usually love Popeyes but I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and they put 2 breasts which made it difficult to eat but 1 of the breasts was extremely tough like gristle and was impossible to eat. Everything else I ordered was good but that sandwich was disappointing.

My dad has gone to this location 2 times and had a bad experience both times. Both times he ordered the shrimp with cole slaw and fries and he told them he did not want the combo. When he arrived at the window, she started to hand him a big drink. He stated again that he didn't want a drink and she said it's cheaper without the drink which is a lie because it's $8. with a drink and $5. without. When he went today, he ordered the same thing and he didn't get the fries. If it happens again he won't come back. I would suggest to have your employees listen to the customers because they are paying their bills.

I've lived in Tulsa 6 years and a month ago was the first time I had been to Popeyes. I ordered through ÜberEats and then drove across town to pick up my order. My food was hot and yummy and all was well. Perhaps my positive experience was because it was a weekday. Today, Saturday, I decided to try again. I ordered a 12 piece nugget and got home and had 8. Called the restaurant and they said they will replace the 4 missing nuggets. I explained that I'm not leaving home again today and I'm most certainly not driving across town for 4 nuggets. Told the lady I'll take pics and bring my receipt but that it's only fair that they provide me with a fresh 12 nuggets. She told me no then hung up. I'm flabbergasted. Can you imagine if you order a large fry and they give you a small and you go back and they count out your missing 11 fries... never again. I guess I'll drive the 12 miles to the broken arrow location if ever the urge to eat here again comes up.

Last trip in they shorted me a side. Wrote is off to stuff happens. This time is the last. $40 worth of food and they short me on a side again. Totally unexceptionable. Popeyes your loosing it. I will be never spend my money at another store again. Big big disappointment.

Pros: I usually get the spicy chicken, mashed potatoes, and biscuits. Building looks new. Plenty of parking. Cons: Greasy chicken, bad for my health, not many gluten free options or vegetarian options

I am so absolutely disappointed!!! My husband went and picked up lunch for us today as I am a Cancer patient and am getting chemo today. I ordered a chicken sandwich but ended up throwing about 2/3of it away! There was SOOO much mayo it was squeezing out EVERYWHERE as I took bites! How inconsiderate and undertrained these people must be in food preparation! I usually like their chicken but not their sandwiches now because of this. I don't want to wear my food! Also the Mac&cheese had just as much grease! UGH!!!

Horrible. They never want to cook fresh chicken and always have new rules on which pieces you can get at night time because they're too lazy to cook fresh chicken a few hours before closing. The customer service is nice but they're just to lazy. They really pissed me off tonight . If I could give them no stars I would . She said they only have 20 pieces for the rest of the night and that's why they can't accommodate me with my order request for all wings and legs that I am paying for ...just ridiculous. You refused to even cook mines fresh. I rather spend my money else where thst a accommodate me with a simple request that I am spending my money on. Horrible location of u want request specific portions of chicken in your bucket .

54/5000 Many people lined up and were looking forward to it. I took a few bites and found it was delicious. The skin is very, very crispy, and the chicken is very juicy. All in all, very enjoyable.

This is just a review of the ghost pepper wings. The flavor is good, the heat is above what most places claim is hot. BUT, the wings are smaller than my thumb. Hardly any meat. Offer this a a tender and it would be great.

Well, I am very disappointed in everything about my visit today. I drive by there at lunch often because it is really close to where I work. I finally broke down and went through the drive thru and waited FOREVER! A few cars behind me got out of line because the wait was so long. I finally got to the speaker to order and had to wait even longer before they took my order. It took me about 45 minutes to get through the drive through. When I got back to work with my food (and after I took the pic for yelp) I realized they gave me a leg and thigh even though I requested 2 thighs and she had repeated my order correctly. My food was cold and I am just not happy with any of it. I will not be going back to this Popeyes.

I've made multiple visits to this location. Pretty much every trip has been a disappointment. They've been out of items multiple times, forgot to give me sauce I asked for, couldn't understand them over the speaker due to thick accent, or were just straight up rude. The visit tonight I could hear them curse in Spanish through the drive-thru window after being very rude over the speaker. Can I suggest new management and better training?

This Popeye's used to have some problems, but they have a great team there now and it is really good! The chicken has been fresh and moist, with tasty crispy breading. I prefer the spicy by far. Just the right amount of spice for me. I wouldn't get the potatoes again, the gravy was sparse and kind of weird. The fries are really good though.

This establishment was absolutely a disgrace to the human race due to the manager. Multiple times she messed up my order, argued with me and when I went to ask for some dipping sauces she told me to wait because she was about to go on break and that someone else would serve me. Horrible place

Love it when the manager is working drive-thru. Didn't know what I wanted but he introduced me to the unbreaded chicken strips that were out of this world. Just what I needed and he was so kind and friendly. Hope his staff is as good as he is.

Very polite employees, AMAZING red beans and rice, ate two largest of it. LOVE THIS PLACE! Would eat here every night if I was allowed to.

Horrible restaurant. I have had the misfortune of going to this Popeyes about 5 or 6 times since they opened a few years ago. Each and every time, I have gone there because of some promotion on TV. Each and every single time I went there, they did NOT have the promotional items. Always "we're out of that". It doesn't matter if you go at 11AM or 7PM, always out of anything listed as a promotional sale item. This policy most definitely is a choice being made by the particular owners of this Popeye's. They do not want to participate in promotions as they don't make as much money off the food. Really horrible way to run your business. I have complained about this to the parent company and received zero response from them. I will never eat at another Popeye's anywhere because of this terrible location in Tulsa. Popeye's Corporate needs to respond to legitimate complaints like those being made about this restaurant.

I love popeyes chicken but seems like every time I go..the line at this drive thru is long because they're slow.. they always say they are out of chicken which I think is ridiculous and the 12 minute wait ends up being 20-30 without any compensation for the long wait... it's been this way forever at this location..i have definitely limited my visits to Popeyes on 41st because I don't like the service or immaturity of their staff.. I've emailed and reported this issue to their Corp offc over the years and nothing has changed..i love their food but their staff has sent me back to kfc

somewhere between 2 and 3 stars, I like the chicken especially the spicy chicken and the mashed potatoes and red beans and rice, the biggest con is service. I have had trouble in the past ordering, in English.
