Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

My husband and I went inside to eat today. We had a very nice experience. Although they seemed busy with the drive through, we were greeted relatively quickly and we're able to order. One worker quickly made our mango frozen lemonades (definitely recommend), while the other worker behind the counter asked for my receipt to make sure she wasn't missing anything. My husband loves the original chicken sandwich and it did not disappoint today. The meat was so juicy that it was dripping from the sandwich. They gave us plenty of napkins so he was fine. I ordered a 4 piece combo and every piece was perfect. The biscuit was extremely soft and paired perfectly with some grape jelly. We almost didn't come today because we saw (and read through) a few of the reviews. I am glad we didn't listen to them or we would have missed out on a very awesome meal. Please be kind to the people serving you.

Those of us who travel down south understand you get better chicken from gas stations than from PopEyes Louisiana Chicken in Wappingers Falls. We both ordered the number two, and while we agree the meat was flavorful, it was also tough as nails (not enjoyable). The French fries were good as well, but the coleslaw container was half full. The atmosphere was clean (it is brand new); location is convenient; service was excellent (although I got to say, I’d like to see greater diversity in their employees. I didn’t see a single white person working there...not cool). Prices are too high.

This place is very inconsistent. Two times I’ve ordered here. I had to wait over 20 minutes for spicy chicken. I don’t understand why they don’t have it ready or make some when they notice that the chicken is running low. I now have to wait 20 minutes for a spicy chicken while the rest of my food is sitting on the counter getting cold and soggy. Please work on management at this location.

Short heavy set girl dark hair at around 8 pm Tuesday was so rude I asks for my order that I seen sitting there politely after waiting for 5 min for someone to acknowledge I was there every one walking by without asking if I need help so I figured I needed to ask for help and she had the never to say with a attitude give me a min. I wanted to say lady I gave u 5 min without any help so another lady finally handed me the bag that was ready! Do better!

This location depending on who is working shows preferential treatment to certain customers. They never have the items of the menu, they overcharge when they order is a combo they try to charge non speaking Spanish people individually for the items when it’s supposed to be a combo. I sent my Spanish speaking fiancé inside and she was able to get every item I asked for through the drive thru that they said wasn’t available. They are prejudice and if you aren’t Spanish or Spanish speaking? They give you bad service. This location is prejudice.

The food was good. The girl working the drive-thru window wasn't very friendly and when I was given the wrong order they tried to ignore me until another team member came to assist and was much more friendly and made my order right.

I didn’t wanna do this, but this took me months to do.. months ago, they never had spicy chicken because they said it’s not sold there often and the chicken goes to waste when they make spicy chicken, so we need to call 20 minutes ahead of time to order spicy Chicken. Now they finally have spicy chicken without you having to call 20 minutes prior. However, for a couple months now asking for a ghost pepper wings, they fry regular wings and put the ghost pepper seasoning on the outside of the wings. The powder gets everywhere.. this Popeyes is so different all the other Popeyes you ask for ghost pepper wings the season is inside the batter. Why can’t this Popeyes be like the other Popeyes and do what they’re supposed to do this is not customer service if they didn’t want to have Popeye food call it something else don’t even name the company Popeyes.

First time ever trying Popeyes and horrible! Rather go to kfc bc the chicken barely had meat and the sides were cold and felt like it was a day old. The service was quick lol that’s about it
