Megan Thee Stallion Will Have Her Own ‘Hottie’ Sauce at Popeyes - Eater

"Hot Girl Summer may be ending, but brand new Popeyes franchise owner, one Megan Thee Stallion, is staying very busy, teaming up with thee fried chicken chain to release a new sauce — poetically called Megan Thee Stallion Hottie Sauce — on October 19th. The sauce will be made with a mixture of honey, cider vinegar, and Aleppo pepper, according to a Popeyes press release. So, I guess hot tangy chicken summer is… forever? The sauce will be offered on the chain’s chicken sandwich, marking the first time the company has tested a variation on the sandwich, which reached a fever pitch of popularity after it was introduced in 2019." - Elazar Sontag

Taco Bell Testing Chicken Sandwich Taco Before Nationwide Rollout - Eater

"This isn’t the first time Taco Bell has served fried chicken. But the chain’s current reentry into the arena signals a willingness to get down and dirty in the fast-food fight for customers’ souls — by which I mean their appetite for fried chicken sandwiches, best exemplified by the Popeyes chicken sandwich craze of summer 2019." - Jenny G. Good food at the right price. The reward program is great. Fast service and it's right off the main street for easy access.

Google
Best food I have ever had. The staff obviously gets their job done and is very straight to the point. I got a sandwich combo and fries and it was all hot and very savory. I heard many people complain about prices but what do you expect it’s 2025 get a better job if you can’t afford it or work extra. Overall I’ll be coming back often.

Carmen Q.

Google
Why does it taste sooo bad? It was not like that in other popeyes. Never order from this place again.

Ryan L.

Google
Staff was kind and genuine. Out food was hot and came out pretty quick, and the portions were generous. This is the closest Popeyes to where I live. It's a 30 minute drive for me and I'm relieved that the drive was worth it! Keep it up.

Google
Man something is wrong with this place, i placed my order online i came in to pick it up and asked if i could use the restroom. 2 employees gave me 2 different reasons why i couldn’t use the restroom, one said it was out of service and the other said the key was lost there was no out of service sign on the restroom door. And my food was talking forever even tho i ordered ahead

Dan G.

Google
Popeyes seasoning is always on point. The spicy 3 piece combo was the order and DAMN it did not disappoint. The chicken was super super juicy & the Cajun fries were nice and seasoned. Topped off with a lemonade and this was a perfect lunch to get me going through the day!

Google
When I was placing my order I was told by the cashier they were out of tea, then another worker from the back told him they had tea. So I finished my order and went outside to wait. After the person that was in front of me got their food I stood by the counter to receive mine. They got 1 star because he asked if I wanted napkins. After I answered his question he just stared at me, then I said I would like my tea too. I saw him walk to the drinks and poor coke in a cup and brought that to me. I reminded him I ordered tea. He then went back for my tea. When I got to my car I looked into my bag to see if everything else was ok. I noticed I was missing a utensil for my mac n' cheese. I went back and got my spork and another person was in there for the same thing. I got back to my car and I figured I would count my tenders when I found this nugget. By the way the biscuits looked and taste like they have been sitting a long time. I didn't want to go back in and will not go back there for food.

Google
Went to Popeyes after seeing the long line, police, and an ambulance at Hot Birds. Decided to try their ghost pepper chicken sandwich and my gal got a sandwich meal.. Don’t get me wrong, the sandwich wasn’t bad. But it wasn’t worth the price. Our entire order came to $21.48. The sandwich wasn’t hot. The ghost pepper sauce might have been a five on a ten scale if you’re a Hot Ones fan. The sandwich was small. The sides were good that my gal ordered. The staff were fine, friendlier than average for a fast food establishment. However, I would’ve rather spent $25 for the combo plate a block away at Hot Birds. To be fair, you can’t really compare the two, despite one being fast food and the other a food truck, but when it comes to value in today’s economy, Popeye’s didn’t come through for me. It’s similar to other fast food pricing these days, but again, value for the dollar? No. However, if you’re out on the road, the sandwiches here aren’t bad. You could do far worse at most fast food places.

Yelp
I get excited when I know I'm going to have a meal at Popeyes. The smell of the fried chicken from the parking lot as I enter the restaurant is intoxicating. The chicken has a delicious flavor and the crispiness is outstanding! It is moist and tender and extremely flavorful. I usually get three pieces, a wing, a breast and a thigh. The biscuits are delicious with a slight amount of salt on the outside and the coleslaw is made to perfection and always fresh. The staff is a very friendly and are eager to make your order absolutely perfect. I only wish there were more Popeyes chicken franchises throughout Santa Cruz County. I absolutely love this chicken and I rank it number one and KFC number two. Sorry Colonel!
google avatar

Eric R.

Yelp
I ordered spicy tenders and got spicy regular chicken instead. A small wing, small leg and a thigh. I ordered the six piece boneless wings, and they were cold. Not impressed definitely not returning. Their prices are just too high versus the quality and quantity.

John B.

Yelp
The food tasted fine, but when I got home, I had an upset stomach and diarrhea. They only hire younger people who are rude and entitled, and take your hard-earned money elsewhere.
google avatar

Marcos E.

Yelp
The girl calling out the orders was very rude , asked her a question and gave me attitude and completely ignored my question , she should not be working in service if she doesn't like dealing with people
google avatar

Lou I.

Yelp
Went in and asked how much for just 3 tenders, no sides just chicken $13.00 crazy over priced. I walked out. The crew is nice but also they did not have any change sign said exact change or card only. Will not be back and i love popeyes.
google avatar

Daisy E.

Yelp
After today I don't think i'll be craving popeyes, let me start of with the fact that i paid 21. dollars for a 3 piece chicken tenders and a small side of mash potatoes. As i began to eat the i noticed the chicken tenders were not fresh but i let that one go, when I began to eat the Mac and cheese i realized it was all burnt cheese and maybe 5 macaroni noodles I asked staff if that is the way they make it and she was shocked apologized and gave me a new one ( staff were friendly ) When I heated up my mac and cheese later at home o noticed it was the same burnt cheese and definitely disappointing. I really wish i could have had a more pleasant experience safe to say I won't be eating popeyes again.

Yelp
Food was good. My friend was handed 20 coins because they had no change for some reason. The same friend had their food stolen and had to get a new order, for some reason they didn't check the person for a receipt. I also had my feet in a puddle under the table for 20 minutes as we had to wait for my friends food.
google avatar

Susan M.

Yelp
Horrible food that took 30 minutes to get. Homeless hanging out in the premium booths Can't get that disgusting taste of the fish sandwich to go away From the workers to the service to the cleanliness of this place I just say NO!

Erik L.

Yelp
Manager was fine asf , I wanted to box him up and take him home along with the chicken . Great service .
google avatar

Zeb G.

Yelp
!!AVOID!! How in the hell did this place pass a restaurant inspection? Do they even check to see if the food is the proper temperature to serve? Got really bad food poisoning here.

Sheri M.

Yelp
they've closed the watsonville location!!! booooo!!!! what happened? they were always so busy??
google avatar

John L.

Yelp
Given this is a Popeye's, I think you know what to expect as far as the food... We have been to several Popeye's, and this one was a good one. The food was freshly made, not sitting under a heat lamp. Or spicy chicken sandwiches were one really nice piece of freshly fried chicken, not a couple of the tenders thrown on haphazardly... The server was friendly, and attentive. All in all, it was probably the best Popeyes we've been to... Recommended

Lindsay L.

Yelp
Ordered food online because I am sick and just needed to pick up and get back home. They forgot food from my order. When I called she said you can see my ticket if you want to come back. NO! I don't want to come back and I will post my receipt! I didn't receive the nuggets for my daughters kids meal. A better response would have been I'm sos sorry, how can we make this right? Don't argue with me because I am %100 correct you forgot my kids nuggets.

Matthew L.

Yelp
Dirty Tables, Dirty Bathroom, Waiting an bour for food, Staff is unprofessional and rude ; a bunch of disrespectful teens and 20 year old working, They keep using the excuse that "we are backed up and busy" but keep laughing in the back, No manager on site, WORST POPEYES EVER!!! I say just shut it down honestly.
google avatar

Ariana L.

Yelp
All I have to say is this place is absolute shit. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Never again the people acted super disrespectful. The food was cold and undercooked. I found a fucking cockroach in my food absolutely disgusting. This place should be closed down for good.

Blaise B.

Yelp
I ordered online pickup for 4:55, I got there exactly at 4:55 and when I asked for my order they said that they haven't started it yet when I placed my order 20 minutes before 4:55 and it wasn't busy at all. After that they forgot five out of 9 items I spent my hard earned money on. I had to go up three times to the counter it was terrible the cashier didn't even seem to care that he messed up my order. One of the items I ordered was red beans and rice the cashier told me that we were all out and if he could replace it with mashed potatoes and gravy, instead I asked for my money back which he declined and said that if you put their Cajun seasoning on them it will taste the same. After he said that I was so surprised I felt like I was just spit in my face and disrespected.

Yelp
Traveled here from the Peninsula to get our "Popeyes Fix" on Labor Day. Placed my order, gave my name, paid and got my receipt. Patiently waiting for our order while they called out other people's names & order number, we waited 18 minutes before we realized that other people after us received their order. Hubby went to the counter and got our order which was sitting on the counter the last 10+ minutes. Somehow my name was called 4x but none of us heard it. Weird!!! After I gave them an ear-full I had them replace my cole slaw. They were lucky I didn't I have them replace my whole order. Food: Delicious except for a few feathers Price: Reasonably priced Customer Service: Definitely needs to go back to Popeyes Customer Service School

Yelp
Well, not sure how to describe but here it goes The time of the order was efficient. The staff member who took my order followed his guidelines well. The manager was directing the staff. For me just felt too robotic, there was no hello welcome to Popeyes, no smiles, just a different vibe. I understand it is a fast food industry, but I truly believe that courtesy makes food more pleasant. Chickens strips a little to dry for me. My review is described with respect and no negative intentions. I wish them the best.

Yelp
I was doing multiple driver deliveries for this location and was interested in ordering some for dinner to try it out for the first time after I finished deliveries because it smelled good. on one of my final deliveries I asked if I could have a cup of water.(I had left my wallet in the car. ) They said they did not have any cups available ...... for water only I guess, as the next employee handed me a cup to fill up for the order I was handling. I asked directly if I could have a cup for ice or if I could have just any cup like the one they just handed me. after some debate back and forth The main cashier stated it was company policy to not give out cups of water. She said it directly without remorse or concern. As I was obviously a potential paying customer and fellow associate I would have expected them to understand our deadlines and difficulties of our workload. There was no Possibility of potential negotiations. As a result I absolutely did not order dinner from here and definitely never will. Regardless how good it smells. I will not support such a callous response and policy... I may definitely never even try ANY Popeyes because of this interaction. Ive already gone 40years plus so it would not be a problem. I'm only writing this to share openly that this location, possibly company, is in support of existing solely for profit and not for experience, service, or community. I am tired of living in a society where companies who act like this succeed and the people continue to suffer. it's the little choices that can be the biggest change, but we have to work together. Choose your purchase wisely.

Yelp
The customer service here is awesome. They got all the details of my order correct and the to-go was prepared with great speed and care. Portions here seem a little smaller than usual, and the chicken is not as crispy compared with other locations I have visited. But the flavors are fine. Perhaps better than the fried chicken was their chicken sandwich. The apple pie was so-so (as if it sat there under the heating lamp too long), but it was the only option since their pie specials (raspberry and cheese cake) were not available.

Isaac F.

Yelp
The worst popeyes ive ever been too, poor management bad service the drinks are never right tbh they should cosider closing it down or handing it over to a better manager
google avatar

Isac L.

Yelp
I went with my little brother, the female staff was cussing and I felt it was unprofessional because there are customers hearing the language they use. I don't appreciate my brother hearing that language.
google avatar

Gary K.

Yelp
The place is filthy, which is what the other reviewers say. Employees disinterested. But the food is good and there is no other Popeyes around. I needed a Popeyes fix. Since the food is cooked, how bad can it be? I try not to think about what it was like before it was cooked. After all it is not health food.
google avatar

Isaac P.

Yelp
This place has great service. I came in last week to buy a chicken sandwich and they offered me bacon I'm not sure who's in charge but this place gets things done right. The lobby was very clean and had a nice temperature to it .
google avatar

Ava Z.

Yelp
Somehow this joint is pretty busy, so we waited for a little bit for our online order. Food was standard.

Vanessa S.

Yelp
If I could give zero stars I would! The disrespect waiting 20 minutes for your food just to have them missing shit!! And when I ask "doesn't my Surf and turf come with fries and a biscuit ?" I get disrespect and attitude from the male employee told me "no" and proceeded to ignore my presence and if you read on there menu or on there website and I knew obviously cause I've gotten it many times before that there were fries and biscuit!
google avatar

Elizabeth S.

Yelp
Overpriced and condescending staff. Literally would recommend you go to Bay Area (San Jose/SF) and get better quality and pay an expected fast food price. Go to the bar next door, the fish house bar and grill, and get a sophisticated dish for the price of this Popeyes chicken tenders. Better yet, buy your own Popeyes franchise because this place is a rip off.
google avatar

V P.

Yelp
I've been here a couple times and it just got worse each time I went. If you want left overs feel free and have a seat because the tables weren't clean and the place is dirty. The food got mediocre and they took forever to serve orders because they were too busy talking about cars, a party and personal issue that all of us waiting could hear. A guy asked for lids and napkins because they were out. The worker who is supposedly a manager or something kept telling him over there. Someone had to repeat and say "you are out, they need to be refilled" and then he seemed annoyed with a customer. Perfect customer service if you've been in the industry. There was a girl named Blanca, Bianca or Beatrice, definitely started with a B on how she was being rude to a young gentleman who had concerns with order being wrong. So the place has gone downhill and that wasn't much a drop because it was already a dive. Food, lack if customer service, cleanliness and overall experience for us customers is not a pleasantone. Probably won't go back and don't recommend it to anyone.

Yelp
Wish they offered zero stars cuz that's what this place deserves. My husband ran in to order lunch, and 25 mins later we were still waiting for our food. 2 chicken strips and 2 apple pies. We were on a time crunch and had to get going, so he requested a refund the cashier Luis aka Isaac ‍ (stated his name was Luis, but Isaac was in the receipt) who then made an announcement to everyone in the place 'this guy wants a refund so I have to stop all your orders!' Wth??? My husband asked to speak with a manager who supposedly wasn't available. We called from the car, and Isaac posed as a manager. We tried to get franchise info to contact to let them know how I'll run this store is. We were told we're not allowed to have that info. 20 mins later, a female called posing as a manager stating her name was Bianca. Who knows if this is acute. Anyways, when my husband was explaining the incident, she stated she was there and watched his attitude and called him a 'lier' and a 'effing piece of !!' I don't get it. Who acts like this?!! And treats customers like this?? Who hired these horrible human beings? Extremely rude and I can't help but hope they close down. We do not need this kind of est around here. Please don't support this disgusting place.
google avatar

Yelp
For the price, quality of food and service it's not a place I'd go out of my way to eat at again. I would go if invited, they drove and someone else was paying. Why pass up a free meal? Beyond that, Popeyes is a hard pass. There is a Zen Koan that says "lower your expectations daily so that they do not get so high that no one can achieve them, not even yourself". Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen has lower my expectations to a new level. The Mac and Cheese is as good as one would get out of a box from the frozen section of the grocery store. The spicy chicken sandwich that I've heard a lot about is okay. It's on par with other fast food restaurants. A step above hospital food. Basically a chicken strip between two buns with mayo and a pickle. The service reminds me of a hipster place in Portland where it's cool to be rude and indifferent to the customers. I didn't frequent those places afterwards either. It took a while to prepare the food. I joked that they had to slaughter the chicken, clean it then make it from scratch, which we all know doesn't happen at Popeyes. I guess only one microwave was working tonight or only one staff member was trained on it because the rest were over to the side chatting. The TV was volume was set to 11, I swear they had to buy special TV to go above 10. The bathroom was broken and locked (sign on the door said broken). One of the fountain drink dispensers was broken. At least the camera on the wall in the back said "Smile you are on camera" with a smily face. The default is to everything is to go even if eating at the restaurant, so the garbage cans are filled with plastic bags and to go containers. The staff doesn't bother to ask if for here or to go. It's easier for everything is to go so they don't have to clean up anything. No trays to pickup or clean. Then again, they are working at Popeyes so I wouldn't really care saving the company money or the enviroment either. There are much betters places to get chicken in the area than Popeyes. I came, I saw and wasn't impressed. I can check it off my list of places to try and no go to again.
google avatar

Suby S.

Yelp
Terrible customer service! Ordered through the app and received a free 3 piece tenders in my order. When I picked up my order the tenders weren't in there. When I went up and showed the employee my phone with my mobile order that included the free tenders, the manager "Cheska" comes up and says it didn't come up on their end so she's no going to honor it. Not sure how she became manager here. It shouldn't be rocket science that when a customer shows you their receipt on the mobile order, you would honor their order as it's not the customers fault the order they placed didn't come up on your end.

Jennifer M.

Yelp
Service is absolutely shameful in this location. All these employees need to be sent through a customer service training. Walked in and stood there for several minutes with no acknowledgment what so ever when clearly the 4 employees there could see me standing waiting! I walked out and won't ever be returning there!

Jean D.

Yelp
For the 2nd time in about a month we got popeyes from Watsonville branch. A 2 piece with dark meat, fries and a biscuit. Both times we got a very small drumstick and a piece if white dry over battered chopped into a wing like shape. Approx. 13 dollars for the meal, the only saving grace were the fries and biscuit. The dry white fried piece of meat nearly killed my experience at Popeyes Watsonville and would be reluctant to eat there again because I would have to pick out the pieces I wanted and closely inspect that I was given. Check your order before you leave that store. I mean pull the chicken apart to see what you ordered is way you got, and if the chicken pieces are dry and small ask for different pieces. I received about 2 dollars worth of chicken and 4 dollars of starch. The fries were great! Send in a secret shopper please.
google avatar

Alex V.

Yelp
This is one of the best places to grab a quick bite. I have only ate at this location twice. Fresh biscuits, great shrimp. I was really hungry and ordered plenty of food. The fish and chips combo with a side order of fries and biscuits are good. Packed with a burst of flavor. The food here is delicious and flavorful. Everything taste fresh! The seasoning they use here taste different from other Popeyes locations - maybe the employees bring their own seasonings from home because everything tastes amazing!!!! I like that they accept coupons (some locations don't) Overall I recommend coming here, me personally I've never had a bad experience. I hope popeyes stays in Watsonville.
google avatar

Natasha C.

Yelp
It's been a while since I've come here, so I was in the area and kept raving about "Popeyes" in general to my BF, finally he was down to try it. There were 2 other people in front of us. I come up to place my order, and asked for the tenders to be freshly made (I've asked this at multiple stores and not once has there been an attitude, or any rude comments from the employees). Less than 30 seconds after making the transaction the order was done, and I said, "I asked for it fresh". All three employees in the front were just looking at me confused. Then finally they understood what I was asking. The girl employee just rolled her eyes at me, which I did not know until my BF told me. Why are you going to roll your eyes at me for a request I asked before the order was even done? It was the worse service I had at any popeyes, which is shameful because I love there food. The name on our receipt was Bianca. So if your reading this next time keep your eye rolls to yourself or better yet don't come to work if you have a problem with someone's simple request when your store is empty.
google avatar

Johnny C.

Yelp
Ask for a 2 piece white and was given a leg a thigh a wing and a portion of a breast. Chicken fried to hard not sure who the manager is but help is needed.

Vanessa S.

Yelp
Wow, this place is so unorganized the young kids, getting the food prepared had no idea of what they were doing who was preparing what it was pure chaos. I waited for 30 minutes for my order. I finally went up and asked if it was close to being done. My order wasn't even on the screen anymore and he said that we already called it and someone took it, I was sitting there the whole time they never called my number. Every single person there was angry! The place is dirty, trash crumbs, etc. on the ground and table tops. The one star is because my food was good and hot but I definitely don't think I'll ever be back.

Alejandra P.

Yelp
Horrible service!!! They made me wait for more that 30 minutes, they gave me the wrong order also incomplete. BAD MANAGEMENT!!!
google avatar

Walt N.

Yelp
Terrible. Chicken was barely warm and dry. Like leftovers. Gravy on mashed potatoes was some green mess. I've been to the store in San Jose and it's great. Seems like the people in Watsonville will eat whatever is put in front of them.
google avatar

Valerie S.

Yelp
Just a request. Love this place but PLEASE make sure ALL employees are wearing their masks PROPERLY. I have been standing for here waiting for my order for 10 mins and 3 people including the female manager have their face masks half off exposing their nose and only covering their mouth. At times masks were being worn against the chin only. I know these days are hard on everyone. Trying to adjust to wearing protective gear almost constantly is a hassle. I feel so much better about feeding my family here if the employees would keep their protective gear on properly as the customers are required to do before we can even enter the building. Thanks for working and being there for me to order food for my family.

Hailey A.

Yelp
They open at 10:30 am every day. This morning, I went and they didn't let anyone in until 11, and said it would still take at least 10 minutes for food to be made. They took my order, seemed incredibly confused- maybe they're having issues with understaffing. Who knows. But it took about 10 minutes to even take my order then I sat and waited for about 35-45 minutes to receive my order which was not even good. I asked them for a lid for my drink (they didn't have any out) and the guy didn't seem to understand when I told him they were out of lids. I just wouldn't recommend unless you have an hour of time to waste, plus the food being over priced. Kind of seems like they need to either get a new staff or just close in general. Pretty bad experience. Probably won't go again.
google avatar

Alyssa M.

Yelp
This Popeyes is clean for one thing. However, don't bother ordering a large sized fries because they'll charge you for a large and give you a small - this has been my experience every time I go to this specific location. The store is tiny and with the rona the line is usually out the door due to capacity and no seating so to speed things up you can order online and skip the line. The people here are relatively pleasant but also always manage to get my order wrong in one way or another whether it be overcharging me or forgetting something.

Robby B.

Yelp
Cashiers with attitude, they're out of food, sandwich looked old and was made sloppy. Stomach started hurting after eating. Avoid.

Diana R.

Yelp
I never got to try the food. We waited 20 minutes until I went up to ask what had happened to the cashier. Another employee was passing by and the cashier asked him while he was talking to another customer that seemed to be his friend and all he said was "I already gave it out." No one really cared ever though we had our receipt and clearly no food. We had to ask for a refund after waiting 25 minutes and no one caring.

Yelp
Definitely do not go here if I was able to give this place a 0 star review I would. I was driving around and I was CRAVING a chicken sandwich I am a man who despises pickles so, as anyone who doesnt like pickles they get food... without pickles, right? So I walk into the ambiance there isnt much people just 2 kids that look around 16-18 on there phones slacking off and I walk up to the register and ask for 2 classic chicken sandwiches with NO pickles, They ring me up its around 10$ for two sandwiches not to bad, I pay and sit down waiting for my food. They call my number and I go and grab my sandwiches and go back into my car. I open up the first sandwich and take a bite out of it, I notice its a little spicy but thought it was just that first bite, so I take another bite and its STILL spicy and this time I notice its also a little bit sour. So I open up the sandwich to see pickles inside of it after I asked for NO pickles. I was like oh well I guess they thought I wanted No pickles on only one sandwich. So I look in the other sandwich only to see pickles againn, your workers never fail to disappoint me. Not coming to this joint ever again. 1 star

Yelp
Had this place was my first Popeyes experience I would've been absolutely disappointed and I wouldn't have given Popeyes another try. Where to start? I think other reviewers covered it all, from the filthiness of the place to slow service, to being rude, to messing up orders, to the lack of customer. Even the corporate doesn't care, I filled an official complaint with corporate all they could say that they'll refer it to the franchise owner and he'll get in contact with me. I've tried to contact the franchise owner to resolve my problem before going corporate and failed. In addition I mentioned all the concerns other reviewers have raised with corporate and apparently nothing has improved. I finally filed a dispute of the charge with my credit card company and they got me my money back. Yet to hear from either the franchise owner or corporate!!!!!!

Yelp
The food is great but this location could use a lot of help! When they first opened, there were lines out the door and staff seemed overwhelmed and had not yet hit their stride. After about a month, they seemed to be doing a lot better but ever since, it is hit and miss (mostly miss) as far as customer service goes. The location has been opened for over a year the issues are not due to being new. I have been to quite a few Popeye's locations and I would rate all others much higher, at least 4 stars. It doesn't seem to matter if there are two customers in line of if they have a line out the door, there is always just one person running the cash register. When I walked in last night, there were 2 people ahead of me and quite a few people waiting for orders. One person was getting the orders ready and from what I could tell, one person cooking. There were at least 3-4 other staff member who weren't doing anything other than walking back and forth between the front counter and the back of the kitchen. I never say them bring anything forward or take anything back. The bins that hold the cooked chicken under the heat lamps were completely full so I am not sure why there we so many people waiting on orders. After about 5 minutes, I was second in line and the person taking orders decided to help the one person who was getting orders ready. The cook kept cooking and the rest of the staff just kind of moved around behind the counter, again, not doing anything. At this point, a woman approached the counter to ask about her order, she explained that she had already been waiting for 15 minutes for her order. Two of the staff members that seemed to be walking around, looked at her receipt before telling her that the patty for her sandwich would be another 10 minutes. I walked out at this point. There was still one person in front of me and at least 5 people waiting on orders. I had already waited long enough.

Yelp
Ordered online and when I got my food home some of the chicken tenders were undercooked. Didn't even bother to eat the rest just threw it all always. And that's my second time to this Popeyes. First time they shorted me some chicken tenders and their fires were undercooked as well. Won't be going back to the Watsonville, Ca Popeyes ever again. Trash
