Came to this Popeyes and not only did the person on the headset put me on hold before ordering, (mind you NOBODY was in the drive thru) anyway after ordering they pulled me forward to wait for my food which took a good 5mins now when they finally brought it out not only was my sandwich cold, the also forgot my fries!!!!! Horrible service I’m calling corporate because they have too many bad reviews and something needs to be done about it. Call me a Karen or whatever but if I’m spending my hard earned money at a place I expect good service and good food and I want others to have the same.

This location is unfortunately the worst Popeyes I've been to. Tried it twice and the food is the worst Popeyes I've had of all the diff stores I've tried. Also drove thru took almost 20 mins with just a few cars in line. Staff were nice and fine, not sure if they're understaffed or something else going on. Wouldn't mind the wait if the food was good but it's not, will have to go to a diff location going forward

I had the worse experience ever at this location. I ordered two 16 pieces mixed and one 10 piece mixed, totalling to 42 pieces of chicken. I ordered through the app and did it advance for a later pickup, allowing the store to have plenty of time to prepare for my order. When I went to pick up at the designated time, it wasn't ready so I was patient enough to wait 15 minutes until it was ready. When it was ready, I thanked the staff and left. When I returned to my house and prepared to serve my guests food, I realized there was no breast meat. All three boxes was stuff with thights and some drumsticks/wings. I went back to this location asking for breast meat and the staff named David G said they only have four breast meat and that's it. When I told him that they needed to accommodate something else for my order since I paid a lot for mixed chicken, he said they couldn't. We got into a heated argument because he refused to either reimburse me or substitute for the lack of breast chicken. The female manager stepped in and gave us 6 breast & will accommodate with 2 chicken sandwiches but David refused to make the sandwiches. He stood there taunting me and trying to piss me off even more. I explained that this is the 2nd time they did this as the week before, they did the same thing to my sister when she ordered chicken. The female manager said their location has no white meat, only dark meat. Overall the staff especially David G. are rude and don't know how to do their job. If this location is lacking on providing what they are promoting then don't promote it on the app or the store. It's called false advertisement. Honestly, if I can rate this negative stars, I will.

Food is always consistent and good. The staff on the other hand are pretty rude. I place an online order for me to pick up myself and when I show up there is no line and they tell me I cannot get my order because I am on a bike not in a car. The app says to go to window of the doors are locked I don't k ow why she was so rude the whole time throwing my food around 😤 It was placed at 9:50 p.m.

Ordered thru drive thru. No one there and it took forever for someone to take my order. Then i gett these wings... its like full of sand, i could not try one... Im not sure what but i should send this in to be tested as its disgusting and not normal chicken wings. I would go back to complain, but i doubt management cares. Gross and gross. Edit tried again, this time chicken strips. there was no chicken, just breading. and it was expensive. Last time ever for me at this Popeyes place. BTW Popeye would be ashamed of this place.

Popeyes White Center, Washington- 3 weeks ago I went to this Popeyes branch to pre-order for pick-up the cajun turkey. Me and my family never had a cajun turkey before and would like to try it, It is already paid and I kept the receipt for me to pick it up. Well today is the pick up time, Me and my kids went inside, showed my receipt. I noticed the lady went at the back with my receipt and having conversation with her co-workers about the turkey. It took like 10 or 15 minutes before this guy cashier came up to me and said. "Even you already order the turkey. It is first come-first serve basis and we are out" When I heard that I was furious! I said what the hell I ordered that 3 weeks ago and you tell me you guys are out. * First why Popeyes accepting an order and have the customer pay for it even it is not sure if we are getting a cajun turkey? * 2nd why Popeyes didn't get me as the customer that it is out of stock? * 3rd I ordered this long time ago and I should be one get that turkey first. * 4th By the time I order it, don't you guys have an inventory count how many you have? * 5th I paid by credit card and they cannot figure out how I can refund in my card, what they did just give me a cash back. * 6th No supervisor or manager showed up to assist the situation. * 7th They didn't even apologized This is an acceptable, the day before Thanksgiving me and my family do not have a turkey made. My kids assumed they will have one and now ruin our Thanksgiving day. Popeyes White Center is worst that one star.

Twice now i have tried to eat at Popeyes. Have had wings, shrimp locker box , cajun rice and beans and a chicken sandwich. i find the food almost inedible. Too much batter, too little chicken and cooked to death! Evan a simple thing like rice and beans had bad texture and tasted awful! I don't know how this restaurant can stay in business!

I come here about once a week for the chicken sandwich which is the best fast food chicken sandwich. I come to the drive-in window and not had any issues with the service or the quality of the food. They have a good business and during the lunch and dinner times the drive-in queue can be long. Definitely would recommend coming to Popeyes for chicken.

My family loves Popeyes so we were happy when this closer location opened up years back. Service was always average and hit or miss but lately it's been consistent misses. We usually order lots of chicken (bc feeding big family) & we use the mobile app for convenience. At this point the app is useless, bc even if you order ahead of time (scheduled) they won't start making the order until youre there & by then you have to wait additional 10-15 minutes for them to cook the chicken. Then when they box the chicken they only give you dark meat when you specifically noted mixed in the order. This has happened on numerous occasions & last night after this happened I had to come back to demand they fix our order. First when I came back, it seemed like all 3 leads or managers were at the counter laughing w/a customer couple for awhile. Once the cook lead recognized me (knowing I had waited earlier) they finally turned their attention to us. After we asked to fix the order they seemed to deliberate on how to do so. What baffles me is how long they seemed to stand around not wanting to take care of the customer. The other man (seemed like a manager) kept saying he will go & fix the order but kept standing there as if mocking us. It wasn't until we had to get louder & demand he do his job like he says he would that he finally moved. It's a shame that they sell chicken they don't actually give you, it's fraud & false advertisement. I doubt we'd come back to this location since they're so incompetent.

Who doesn't love some Popeye's Chicken?! It's delicious. However, this location is sadly the most disorganized I've ever witnessed. The staff appears overwhelmed--though there were 7 of them working which seemed reasonable. Twice now I've entered with no staff is at the front counter to greet you and they act as if they don't see anyone new. For things like cups or sauces or sides, they have to run to the back because nothing is stocked. Both times we had something missing from our orders. No matter if you order on the app or in person, it's a disappointment. There is nothing fast about this "fast" food.

The chicken at this Popeyes was great! Only around 2-3 minutes after I ordered, they had my food already! I can't think of anything bad about this location besides the pricing, which, in the current day, I guess is warranted. Either way, great food, fast service, and kind employees! 5/5

Best possible service. Guy with dreads was cool, he gave me my order in seconds. One of the best Popeyes around. One in Tacoma sucks, one in Everett sucks but every time I go here chicken is amazing

I used to live in West Seattle, and was so happy that a Popeyes opened near me. I moved away for 5 years, and the White Center Popeyes is dirty, dry and nasty. My chicken was dry as the desert in Arizona

Apparently the management here doesn't give a rat's booty about the way their their employees treat customers. You go in you get zero greetings or acknowledgment that you're even standing there. And then you have to wait a really long time to even try to get your order made. How about a little customer service? It would be a novel concept. You're fairly new restaurant for White Center maybe you need to start giving a damn about your customers especially since A&w is gone now you're one of the only places around. Pick it up already

Picked up food from the drive-thru and there is a straight up bloody spit that was in the drink. I will be getting this tested and ensuring you are held responsible!!!!!! DISGUSTING! SHUT THIS POPEYES DOWN!!! These people don't want it to be open anyways. UPDATE 8/31: called in to the store and the "manager" lady went OFF THE RAILS. Told me to "f off" and she's "not playing games and as she hung up on me said "f off you stupid b****." INSANE. I have the cup with the remnants of what she or her staff did. Biohazard and provable!!! 9/1 UPDATE: Reported this to WA DOH, Popeyes corporate and just completed first round of blood testing. Will be taking this cup with fluids to be tested to determine DNA and whether they carry diseases I need to be concerned about.

Yesterday my husband went through the drive-thru and the girl at the window was completely disrespectful She asked my husband for his phone number he politely declined said he was married and she continued to pursue him saying that she didn't care. My husband told her that he was one of the faithful ones out here. Then she told him well you better give me a good tip then. I didn't know that it was Popeye's policy to ask customers for tips or that they were even supposed to get them. The girl behind her overheard the whole exchange and was laughing at her forgetting turned down and the girl at the window turned around and told her ( shut up b***h). And we will never be going back there. The fact that they have someone at their window so disrespectful is beyond me. I'm sure this is not the first time and won't be the last if she continues to take orders there. After all that he didn't even get all of his order

Great place food is good and the waitresses very but there is one thing though the place looks like a haunted house when I walked in there a waitress walked crawling on all and when she stood up, she was facing backwards and she turned her head 180°. She had eyes were pitch black when she talked was speaking in like a native tongue, but for some reason, I could understand it when she took us to our table when we sat down 10 spiders and millipedes move some nice when she asked us. What would we a grilled cheese and my friend ordered pizza when she delivered it the cheese was boiling and it looked like it was screaming my friend's pizza when he got a half of it was missing and the other half was on the ceiling somehow and then the owner of the restaurant came out and I swear to God he was a spider like a huge spider he was wearing a tie and everything. I would highly recommend delivery, but great food.

I'm sorry but once you find hair in your food, it doesn't matter how great everything else is and was, most of the time this is enough to never want to return. I understand it happens sometimes but I'm so sad to find this. I found a hair in one of the tenders. Pictured below and what a shame as we were talking about how our server, David was so so sweet and one of the best members of staff we have experienced In a long time. The stars are for him and his customer service. Otherwise I would give 1 star for the hair.

I sure wish I would have read the reviews before I ordered. I had the worst meal ever, that I can remember, and that's saying a lot because I have had a lot of meals in my day. (75 yrs) I ordered the 24-piece chicken nuggets. I got a bunch of batter ( could not find much chicken) mac and cheese, (it was soooooo mushy), and fries (they were OK) NEVER will I go there again. Even if they paid me. NO flavor even in the crust pieces Read the reviews, I am not the only one. This place has no right to be in business. This "FOOD??" is GROSS.

This was my first time here.. drive thru line was about 40min wait, so I was having high expectations for the chicken. The girl who took my order was very nice and got everything in my order correct. I got the 8 piece mild chicken meal and the 4 piece spicy dinner meal. The mild chicken clearly had something dropped and burnt in the cooking oil. The chicken looked good but tasted burnt. I ate the chicken and removed the awful burnt tasting skin. The spicy was good but overall felt both chicken were on the dry side. The sides were delicious, biscuits were tasty and the Cajun fries and mash potato were delicious- tasted way better than the chicken. Uh, yeah, I'm never coming back here again. Also, did I mention it was about $50 for all of this?

Heard about all the hype and knew I had to check it out. Wanted to try it when it first came out but it was always sold out. Went at noon when they opened and there was about a 15-20 minute line. The drive through was crazy so just waited in line. Got a regular and spicy chicken sandwich to compare. Only difference is spicy sandwich has spicy mayo on it. OMG this sandwich was amazing. Between the brioche bread, the perfectly breaded/seasoned chicken, the spicy mayo and the pickles, it was BETTER than chick fil a, and much more reasonably priced. I just hope they don't run out! I don't know if I'm tough enough to fight someone for it

I gave my mom money to get some Popeyes on her the way back. When she got back and checked the bag. It turned out that someone gave mom the wrong order. Mother ask the person twice cause she wanted to be sure that it was the right order and the person 'yes'. Here are the pictures. The first receipt is my mom's order (chicken nuggets 36 pieces) and the second receipt is somewhere else's order. I live in Northgate area and there is no Popeyes in near me. My mom had long tired frustrating day. Plus, going through traffic. I'm not going to have my mom drive all the way back. It's just not worth it. I'll just go to a different one and use the to app to order for pickup. That way they won't get the order wrong.

Listen to the reviews of this Popeyes location. Then take heed of the reviews and go to KFC down the road. First the cashier rang my order in wrong. No biggie, and the manager guy did sort out the right order. But I don't think it got sent through the system, so the long wait was even longer, and then the braided lady manager eventually said they were out of what I had originally ordered. She did make it right by throwing in some extra spicy chicken though. The problem with this place though is that no one is in control and running the pace. All the people in the back seem like they are working on the same orders, when what they really need is a conveyor belt process of work so they can get orders up out and fast. The people there look like they have no idea of what they are doing and haven't had any or much training. No one welcomes guests as they come in. There is no hustle whatsoever to get through the orders or when it's just busy. And finally they need some music. Just to give some ambiance. Doesn't have to be loud. But you can hear every conversation in the back The ghost pepper wings were tiny as well, smaller than my pinky, and certainly didn't seem ghost pepper hot. Sure this place could do well if it just had staff that cared.

I am livid with Popeyes Chicken right now. I wasted an hour of my life trying to get dinner for my teenager and came away from Popeyes in White Center with no food and a lame excuse from their manager, Kyle. This was my second visit in four months because the same Popeyes gave me terrible food that was inedible and hours old. My mistake was coming back and giving them another chance. After waiting in the "drive-through" line for thirty-five minutes, a man approached our car to tell us that all the Popeyes had left was spicy chicken and a few non-spicy chicken tenders (Popeyes tenders are terrible so that was a non-starter.) The car two cars ahead of us hadn't moved in fifteen minutes so the real reason why the man was there was to dissuade us from staying in the line. I pointed out to the man, who hesitated to admit that he was the manager, Kyle, that we had been in line over a half hour, he expressed sympathy, but had no solutions for us. Just excuses for his and his restaurant's poor showing. I recommend that everyone go buy chicken elsewhere. It is not for nothing that 90% of the reviews for this store are 1-star. This place sucks and has no respect for the customers whose purchases pay their employees' wages.

I went entered Popeyes and it was a clean , nice place . I ordered my food and it was delicious it had the perfect amount of flavor and it wasn't too hot or cold , I also got mashed potatoes and gravy and they were also very good . The service was great the only thing was the tables had a little bit of crumbs but it wasn't a big deal . Overall it was a great Popeyes with great service and food I would recommend.

Worst popeyes ever. Went on 7/13/24 at 8:20pm. There was a super rude. What I believe manager or assistant manager. I asked for extra pickles she proceeded to give me two. Extremely rude. The food was super cold. I'm not sure if it's because we asked for a special order (extra pickles) or because the lady was having a bad day. Went to the south Tacoma location two days ago and received extra good service. Will never return to this location ever. Bad service doesn't trust the food. Bad attitudes. If you're not built to work In a fast paced environment then don't. Some of you are way too old to be working here.

I've been to this Popeyes enough to know it's the best one (out of the two) in the Seattle area. Your order is right 90% of the time, they're friendly enough hard working young people, and the food is usually pretty fresh. If you're not using their app for coupons, you should be. Save some money! The only downsides are like all Popeyes 1) when you order strips some are insignificantly sized. If the strip is really small I always feel like they should give you an extra one, but they never do. 2) You have to pay for each sauce you want over two sauces for strips. Taco Bell is the only place generous w their sauces lol. 3) it's usually busy. 4) they often don't want to make you onion rings (especially an hour or so before closing) lol. I like them! Just drop them for me please! Either way, it's worth the drive all the way to white center.

It's my fav thing from most other Popeyes locations. This location's is toooo salty. Too salty too enjoy. Please edit recipe. The chick sandwich was delicious

The area is not very safe. My partner has experienced homeless people walking up to peoples cars banging on windows on multiple occasions. Restaurant doesn't do anything about the safety. Food is cold most of the time when or will take 45 minutes for 1 chicken sandwich. Place should be swept clean of all staff in my opinion.

Has anyone ever been intentionally charged the more expensive item by an employee here? Went during Friday evening rush. There was a long line for the drive through as always, but I always found the food to be well worth the wait. My hope was to order 2 sandwich combos and a side chicken tenders. When I gave my order request, I noticed she did not ask what my drink preferences were. I explained that I wanted the sandwiches as meal. She then sighed loudly and asked what drinks I wanted and gave me the total quickly afterwards. I then said I would like to add more to my order. That was when she sighed again and asked in a forced and mocking tone if I needed anything else. After my payment with the cashier, I was handed a few bags, box and 2 different sized drinks, confused but in a hurry to keep the line moving I left without checking for everything. That was my fault, for not checking for mistakes. Next time, I'll be sure to hold up the line and check everything. When I got home, I discovered not only did I not receive my side order for tenders, I was charged incorrectly for my items. My meal was charged a la cart style, charging me much higher for 2 combo meals, I was also charged for the side chicken tenders that was not provided, my total was about $30. I was not given a receipt but a secondary print out of my initial order, and part of me thinks the person did this to avoid receiving a negative survey.

Clear your schedules folks you're in for a long haul. Like a trucker at the Canadian border be prepared to sit and wait for days. No matter what... be prepared to wait at least 45 minutes to an hour, whether theres 2 customers in line or 10. I've pre-ordered on their app for pick-up, and still been forced to wait 45 minutes. I've ordered delivery three times now. First: driver gave up and cancelled the order after an hour. Second: cancelled by the restaurant with no reason given. Third: showed up 2 hours after ordering, they made the driver wait in lobby and would not let me cancel order. One time I pre-ordered and walked over to pick it up and the manager made me walk through the drive through, even though it said the restaurant lobby was open. The only thing missing was a dunce cap. My wife was NOT. PLEASED. I've had my last SIX orders refunded due to bad service and delays. I challenge any other fast food restaurant to top this. By now you are probably asking yourself: Why continue to support Popeyes? I personally continue to do so to see what fun and exciting ways they can make me angry and late to events. Also, because they have the best chicken sandwich in the game. Praise. I give you a 1.

Yet again horrible service from this location. I sat in the drive through at 9:10 and listened to conversations through their speaker about employees shopping at target, laughing and goofing off. No one answered to take my order for 10 minutes. No one talked to me through their speaker. I pulled up to the window and a young lady laughed saying they were closed. The inside looked fully staffed. I said your hours are until 10 pm. She said they had technical difficulties and none of the fryers were working and closed the window. No apologies for me sitting in the drive through listening to them goof off? Yet, I could see someone bagging food from their shelf. Maybe for themselves? Poor owner losing money left and right. Good luck hiring the right people next go round!

This place is typical fast food garbage. The buns are gross, wait is horrendous, employees are idiots. The last time we swung by here the place was closed. At lunchtime! Total waste of time.

I don't expect a lot from drive thru. It is what it is. But this location is especially disappointing. It took 30 minutes to get through the drive thru and it didn't seem that busy. Only a few cars. IDK, maybe it had been like that all day... I ordered the sandwich combo meal, the sandwich was okay nothing special, but this is what came with it (pic). I paid an extra $5 for a dozen fries and a flat coke!? This place sucks, don't bother. Only positive stars are for the friendly voice on the speaker taking orders.

Terrible service lady tried to lie and say there was no tarter sauce because she was lazy to go get it then we didn't get are fries and she had no choice but to go back and get our fries and gave us tarter sauce. Had a terrible attitude about it and my fries was stale and cold. Don't work at a place if you dont know how to control your anger issues. I've worked in fast food before but no matter what you should always have a positive attitude. And for the manger hire better and mature people!

My favorite fast food fried chicken served right here. Who doesn't love POPEYES?!! I love their spicy fried chicken and biscuits. They have meal bundle packages for up to 8 people. I'm always greeted by a smiling face at the drive through. I prefer Popeyes over KFC any day!

I really like Popeyes chicken, however, this Popeyes location has possibly the most dysfunctional order and pickup system of any drive through I have ever been to. I ended up waiting 48 minutes for a mobile order that was placed one hour before I got my food! I can go to the store to buy, and then make, my own chicken in less time than I waited. I find it hard to believe that this restaurant can make any money when it takes an average 4-5 minutes PER CAR to move one spot forward in the line. 5 stars for the chicken, -1 star for the wait.

The Des Moines Popeyes doesn't train their staff. I ordered a family feast 2 sandwiches 6 peice two large sides 4 biscuits. When I asked to sub the original biscuits for strawberry they said it would be $16 extra. Then I said nevermind give me the feast with mac and red beans and two lemonades. I got to the window they made sure to charge me then I waited 10 minutes for fries I never ordered then they tried to give small sides when I caught it they said I had to wait 6 minutes more for mac and cheese. I pull over wait 15 minutes and they forgot about me. They bring the food out no drinks sauce or napkins. I ask for drinks and napkins they bring that out 5 minutes later. I get home and there are no sandwiches in my bag. I spent $50 and waited 40 minutes for them to get my order wrong after heavy correction and repeating what I ordered over 10 times.

Ordered on the app which I thought would be faster, but once I got there, I waited for 30 min just to drive up to the order screen to mention I had a mobile order. It was another 20 min to the drive thru window. Basically, from ordering on the app and picking up my food at the drive-thru, it was almost an hour. Plus, when I got home I was missing an item on my order. The chicken is good, but not worth it for "fast" food chicken.

It unfortunate that I went in and could not order. Must do on the app which is ridiculous feel sorry for those who don't have the ability. We sat for 45 minutes in drive through no apology no reason for the long wait. I am not returning even though sandwich was so good. Sorry customer service lacking as I never found that in the past.

I'm giving them a 5-star not because they are phenomenal but because the manager and the cashier tonight were working their butts off. They only had spicy chicken by the time we got to the window but that was fine. I could see the cashier was exasperated because it was only the 2 of them and there are about 6 cars behind us. Here is what I can tell folks. 1) be prepared to wait up to 30mins for your meal. 2) be prepared for them to have only spicy chicken. 3) And be prepared to know they are short staffed. Don't go there if you are reading this and think it will be different if you go during lunch or dinner. Go earlier for lunch or dinner. They are short-staffed. End of story. It's currently our country's issue everywhere. I told them they are doing great even under their stress they are experiencing. Oh and our order was right and the food was delicious

They take forever for the food. I can tell they take 10 minutes per car on drive thru. I had wait almost 30 mins on drive thru but still can't get the food then I left. I don't why they take that long as the fast food service. I love their CK sandwiches but can't handle the time. I give them 1 more try at 9 PM. There only 1 car front of me at the taking order station, still more than 10 minutes per car. And I have to wait over 20 minutes to get the food.

Consistently gets drive thru orders wrong or incomplete, exceptionally slow and unfriendly service, and last time we all got food poisoning. Whoever does the hiring should be trained better.

Don't order online. It's almost unusable. You will have to wait forever if you order online. Rediculous! Worst pick up experience i have.
