Paradigm Gardens Reveals a New Series of Pop-Ups in the Garden | Eater New Orleans

"I read that rapper Lil Scrappy presented his wife Bambi Benson with a box of Popeyes for Valentine’s Day and she thanked him for “always keeping my biscuits warm and buttery,” a direct compliment to the chain's biscuits." - Stephanie Carter

McDonald’s Biscuits Beat Out Popeyes’ in Blind Taste Test | Eater New Orleans

"Although it placed third in the blind test, I found Popeyes' biscuit was described as the most traditional: salty, buttery, and possessing a slightly raw taste; despite the lower ranking, chefs defended it — Kelly Fields called Popeyes biscuits a 'religion of their own,' and Isaac Toups insisted they're the best fast-food biscuit when eaten immediately (no reheating) and even suggested dipping them in mashed potatoes." - Stephanie Carter

I placed my order 15 minutes ago. Unbelievable. To sell this and call it food—this store has no basic conscience. I’ll show you the pictures: wilted vegetables, a burnt patty, fries with no crispiness at all.

This was my first and last time I come to this Yonge St location! First complaint is I got the Tuesday two piece chicken deal and the thigh portion was so damned tiny! It still tasted fresh, crispy and delicious but I couldn’t believe it was like half the size of what I’ve received at other locations. The drumstick was an okay size but unfortunately was not hot or crispy so I was served one that was sitting there for awhile. Second complaint is I didn’t feel safe dining in because two street people came in at different times and they had scary, smelly vibes! When the first big guy came in, me and another customer got tense and I was getting ready to wrap up my food and rush out. When the second street guy came in I could hear one of the staff to tell him to get out but he didn’t. I reluctantly stayed to finish my lunch only because I was hungry. I also felt the interior was darker than other locations. Go here at your own risk!

Popeyes Chicken at 645 Yonge Street in Toronto is an absolute gem for fried chicken lovers! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is inviting, with friendly staff ready to serve up deliciousness. The aroma of freshly fried chicken fills the air, making your mouth water in anticipation. The menu offers a delightful array of options, but the star of the show is undeniably the fried chicken. It's perfectly crispy on the outside, with a juicy, flavorful interior that just melts in your mouth. The signature Louisiana spices give it a unique kick that sets it apart from other fast-food chicken joints. Don't miss out on the sides— the mashed potatoes with gravy are creamy and comforting, and the biscuits are light and flaky, making them the perfect accompaniment to your meal. If you're feeling adventurous, try the Cajun fries for an extra burst of flavor! The service is quick and efficient, ensuring that you’re in and out without a long wait, even during peak hours. Shout out to Jashan and Sneha .. loved the food and service. The cleanliness of the location is commendable, creating a pleasant dining experience. Overall, Popeyes at 645 Yonge Street is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious fried chicken in Toronto. Whether you're dining in or taking out, you're guaranteed a satisfying meal that leaves you wanting more!

Google
Great place, I'm a little biased cause I love Popeyes but this location was awesome, I went with my coworker for our lunch break, he got a chicken sandwich combo and I ordered a 5 piece tender platter with fries as a side. Good employees but as it is located downtown the atmosphere is kinda well downtowny, not that they're at fault it's just like that downtown but food was good, fresh, and delicious definitely worth going especially for their daily specials.

This location is a tru fraudulent location. I’m not sure if they are truly the Popeyes franchise. I got wing from there . Very small size , very much stale soggy , the following hour after eating it I got food poisoning. I hope Popeyes read my comment consider who they gave their franchise to . Because a store like this make all the Popeyes to look bad.

I ordered food and went to pick it up. The staff was okay but not very responsive, almost as if they didn’t feel like engaging. Anyway, I picked up the food and went home. Overall, the food was good, but I ordered two mashed potatoes, and they were more like potato soup. I literally had to throw them away because they looked weird and were definitely not prepared correctly. And that was annoying

Service: Hands down one of the worst Popeyes in downtown. The lady that does the night shift; I don't know her name but she has glasses and I think she speaks Punjabi. Anyways, she doesn't care a damn about her customers... Always a face with hatred as if she doesn't want any customers to come in. The rudeness is to the core without no remorse or anything. I understand working overnight shifts can tiring and sometimes even overwhelming. But if you don't want to do that then don't do it ma'am. Don't take your anger onto others. There is this another Punjabi guy as well who accompanies her in the shift; he works in the kitchen. Same thing, ask for a food to be prepared; he behaves like; he gave us money and and we are asking him to work. Food: Food is a disaster!!! I don't understand what they do to their food, but tenders, fries, even the chicken. Their oil is old I think and I always had this feeling of bad oil in the food. The taste seemed really old as well. Honestly, I thought it was a one of thing. But no, happened to me 2-3 times. Atmosphere: I went there at night, the atmosphere there is a hot headed cashier at the front that hates their customers and will not answer questions and still looks at you like you went in to rob them. Please please avoid this place at night, these people hate seeing people get food from them.
