Worth the Drive and Then Some! You know the food is really good when you’re willing to drive from Richardson to Fairview just to get your fix. Poppy’s Wings did not disappoint. I ordered the Texas Gold wings (Yum!), the flavor of the month wings (Yes!), fries, cornbread, their homemade ranch, and a lemonade because I wanted to try it all. Everything was packed with flavor without feeling too heavy. The wings were perfectly seasoned, the fries had just the right bite, and the cornbread was soft and sweet. And in true Southern hospitality, they surprised me with two sweet potato pies as a little lagniappe. That gesture alone deserves a shoutout!!! The quality is consistent across the board. Highly recommend if you love wings. Poppy’s is the real deal.

It was LOVE at first bite! ❤️ The wings ARE the BEST I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot! Lol 😂 May I recommend the following: the Texas Gold, Honey Garlic, Hot honey Lemon pepper and Hot honey Orange pepper wings! Their Truffle Mac & cheese, baked beans and cornbread muffins are incredible! Just don’t forget to order BOTH of their desserts…chocolate sheet pan cake and mini sweet potato pie! I haven’t tried the rest of the menu but it is on my to do list! Thanks to everyone at Poppy’s Wings for sharing their passion for cooking such amazing food! Bravo! 👏

Y’all, this is hands down the best chicken wings & soul food I’ve had. Everything is seasoned and cooked to perfection. It was definitely worth the 2 1/2 hour drive. You can taste the love in their cooking. The customer service is outstanding and they are the sweetest family. Come support a local business! ❤️

Poppy's Wings has the best fried catfish that you will find in the DFW area! It's seasoned and fried perfectly. Their sides are tasty as well. My meal included the Truffle Mac, Fried Okra, and Cornbread. I also tried the Lemon Berry Breeze drink, which was very refreshing and much needed on a hot summer day. I've had their wings on previous visits and I really enjoyed them as well.

When I first arrived the customer service is second to none. They were so nice while having a nice building overall. Plus the food is truly made from the heart reminds me of my childhood.

These are the best wings I’ve had in the metro plex by far. Customer service is beyond superb every time!! They also offer curbside pick up which makes it even easier for a quick meal. Thank you and the fam for always taking care of me! Food is too 🔥🔥🔥🔥 I highly recommend!
