"Restaurant and flower shop mash-up Poppyseed Rye opens its doors in Ballston this Friday. It’s finally possible to get a lovely bouquet and a lovely sandwich, fresh-pressed juice, or glass of Champagne at the same time." - Stephanie Carter

Such a unique place to grab a bite to eat. Very beautiful and so inviting. The atmosphere is relaxing and allows you to truly enjoy your meal. Food is fresh and tastes amazing. A perfect stop for breakfast on your way to a meeting, the airport, or just to explore the city. With an amazing staff who are helpful and super nice.

Google
Great breakfast sandwich and surprisingly large restaurant space. A little higher end, so more of a Call your Mother competitor than a Bethesda Bagels competitor

We had a lovely breakfast at a unique sandwich café and fresh flower shop in Arlington, Virginia. The shop's decoration featured lots of artificial flowers hanging from the ceiling and fresh flowers in baskets. This made it a charming place to enjoy fresh coffee and sandwiches in the heart of Arlington. The highlight of our breakfast was the Reuben sandwich, made with hot pastrami, Swiss cheese, thousand island dressing on rye bread, and sauerkraut, which added extra texture and moisture to the sandwich. It was perfectly toasted with a hint of butter. The breakfast burrito with pork roll was decent, but the salsa verde with chili made it too strong for a breakfast dish. The cold brew coffee had a full acidity, the poppyseed crogel was chewy with a subtle onion flavor, and the pain de chocolate tasted as expected. The service was okay but could be improved, as well as the place's cleanliness. We had to wipe our table ourselves before enjoying breakfast because it was not clean. We have also observed that the ventilation system requires improvement as food smells remain for a while.

Stopped in today for the first time. Had the egg white panini sandwich, the blueberry goat cheese toast, and the nitro cold brew. Everything was absolutely delicious! Service was fast as well. Great experience.

One of my favorite local spots in Arlington. Love bringing out of town friends here. Always delicious food and the atmosphere is always so cozy. The flowers are also so beautiful and great for gifts. Such a good neighborhood spot.

Google
We enjoyed this place. We had a sandwich and salad. Both were okay. Service was a little slow. Decor was nice. Florist was making huge mess on floor as we waited for our food. I would recommend this place.

Google
I greatly enjoyed Poppyseed amd Rye. It's a cute little cafe that's very clean. The prices are fair and the food was delicious! The workers there were also very friendly. The only critique I have is in regards to the coffee I had. I belive it was a vanilla cold brew latte. Unfortunately the coffee just wasn't very strongly and you could barely taste it

Google
I went to Poppyseed Rye for lunch recently and I must say I was very happy with the quality of the service and the freshness of the ingredients. I got a Philly Cheesesteak that was very tasty. I will definitely be coming back for more and recommend you check it out!

Patricia S.

Yelp
Super cute cafe! We got The Rachel and the sausage breakfast sandwich. Both were made fresh and were very delicious! Quick counter service. Definitely would go back!

Yelp
3.5/5, would give it a half star more if I could. Checked this place out for a lunch with a friend, as we thought it would be lovely to have lunch in a flower shop + cafe, but unfortunately most of the flower decor is made of strings of fake flowers, there is only a small counter with fresh flowers. So if it's decor you are looking for, "flower shop" is quite misleading. They have a limited set of tables and the place was very busy on a Saturday afternoon, which was a good sign, so we waited for a table and our food. The sandwiches were good. I had a roasted veggie hot sandwich which was a solid option - not amazing but very filling. It was stuffed full of peppers, zucchini and mushrooms. I loved the veggie content, but could have done with a little more flavor with additional sauce or seasonings in the bread. The staff are polite and efficient.

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
Great cafe! It's clean, chic, has spacious design with seating both inside and outside. Also fairly convenient near a metro. My friend got a crogel (croissant bagel) and she said it was delicious

Alexandra A.

Yelp
The inside was really cute! I was only in there for one second to pick up a takeout order. The smoked turkey was really good. I loved the mustard and the brie on it. I would definitely try more! Unfortunately, I did order the potato salad and they forgot to include it, so that was a bummer.

Naomi J.

Yelp
Very cute space, nice employees, but the biscuits and gravy (2/5 stars) were terrible. The biscuits were incredibly dry, the sausage had little flavor, and the gravy was gritty. Unfortunately I will not be able to recommend this dish to anyone, but I've heard the other dishes are worth it, so I'm giving a 3/5 overall.

Shelby P.

Yelp
I loved the aesthetic of this restaurant. I was super excited to try it. Ordering was quick and easy and menu is very straightforward. Please see my photo attached. The chicken the way it looks is exactly what it tasted like. Super bland and just not good. The name is southwest chicken salad. You'd think it would be packed full of flavor. Everything in there had absolutely zero flavor and true portion was way too big that I ended up having to waste half of it. I'd come back maybe to try and sandwich but the salad which should've been so simple was so bland it was shocking.

Zack G.

Yelp
Bright & airy cafe with a limited menu of hot food, pastries, and drink options Have a florist in-house as well I got a nitro iced coffee and a blueberry toast. The blueberry toast was delicious. The nitro iced coffee was from Compass Coffee (so ofc it was great), but the barista added ice to it which is something that I have never had someone do with a nitro iced coffee before. The barista also got my GF's coffee order wrong as well, so maybe some more training is in order.

Cassandra S.

Yelp
Ordered the Capicola, Ham, Salami and it was a phenomenal sandwich put together by some really friendly people. Couldn't ask for a better neighborhood spot!

Lauren D.

Yelp
My friend and I stopped in here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. I was first impressed by the fun decor and layout of the shop. I love fresh flowers, so the floral setting really appealed to me. My friend and I both ordered iced coffees, which were great. They offer cream and sugar at a separate drink station, they don't add it directly into the drink for you, which was fine by me. I ordered the southwestern chicken salad which was delicious! It was a large portion filled with quality ingredients. My friend ordered a sandwich and hers looked equally as tasty! I really enjoyed my experience here and would recommend other try it as well! My only constructive criticism would be to increase order preparation time. It felt like we waited a longer time than most shops for a salad and a sandwich. Overall a great experience. Check them out!

Leah K.

Yelp
Definitely drawn to the aesthetics of this place and how cute they have a flower shop within the space, but thats about it. The display fridge needed to be refilled with their beverages and sides. Ordered several sandwiches and while the ordering process was simple the sandwiches subpar. I was charged $10 for a simple grilled cheese sandwich for my kid. The space is large with plenty of seating and many guests were enjoying their meals while working. Im assuming there was wifi available. I just could not wait to get out of the place. The ventilation of the space was horrific and felt suffocating. There was feeling of burnt air and it was discomforting to breathe in. Take advantage of the outside seating when the weather warms. Will not be coming back though due to the mediocre sandwiches. Better sandwich shops in the area.

Yelp
Poppyseed & Rye is pretty, but missing heart. I adore flower shops and was drawn to visit based on the charming aesthetic seen online... it was indeed a pretty place to take my lunch, but still left some to be desired. Food: The toasted veggie panini was flavorful and came with a thick slice of mozzarella and Portabella so I didn't miss the protein at all and it had a great bite to it. The paper the panini came wrapped in was also aesthetically beautiful. The down side was that It was a little bit too oily which made it feel heavy and undermined my choosing a veggie option. Ambiance: The lunch rush still felt stressful and it wasn't the workday oasis I had hoped for. The staff was efficient and professional, but they lacked a personal touch. it felt like an ordinary busy sandwich by shop. Decor alone can't transmit charm and whimsy, you need a culture of hospitality and personal buy in. Floral: Similarly, the florist seemed stressed and busy. I didn't linger at the arrangements nor was I tempted to inquire about a little bouquet ...It gave strictly pre-order vibes. I had hoped to find a few loose stems that one could buy to brighten their desks. Perhaps my expectations were just too high for busy ballston location, but with so much attention to detail and effort to stand out from the ordinary franchise spot or corner deli, it would do them well to consider who they want to be among all the options. I would challenge the proprietors to pay attention to the ethos of the establishment as much as the aesthetic.

Yelp
Interesting concept of it being a more upscale cafe (sandwiches + coffee) yet being a floral shop. I heard from a friend that Poppyseed Rye has high quality sandwiches (but for a price) with fresh ingredients, so I decided to finally give it a try. BURRATA - 12 It comes with a thicccc piece of burrata but I wanted more protein so I paid +5 for turkey in my sandwich. At the moment, I wanted the turkey so it was worth. In hindsight, it was absolutely not worth paying 17.00 for a sandwich (even if it was quite tasty). The burrata was fresh and light, which always goes well with a juicy slice of tomatoes, the garlicky flavors of pesto and the tangy zing of balsamic glaze. The roll was also fresh and not overwhelming (the bread and ingredients ratio was good). I was very full after this sandwich. Definitely great, but not worth +5. Overall, the pricing here is $$ but definitely high quality ingredients and good flavors. I'd come back for a different sandwich and would be open to explore more of their food items in the future.

Yelp
Cute breakfast/lunch option place in the Ballston area! This cafe is a flower shop/coffee place that also serves up a pretty good breakfast. I was able to work there for a couple hours during the weekday, during that time we ordered the smoked salmon breakfast sandwich and the pork belly biscuit. The smoked salmon breakfast was pretty mid, I would not order this one again (this sandwich had more cucumber than salmon). The pork belly biscuit however was super delicious, the biscuit itself was buttery and flakey and the pork belly had a really great taste that paired well with their sauce. I also had their matcha latte which was really not good, tasted like watered down milk with no matcha taste at all (I've ordered this drink on two separate occasions so can confirm that their matcha is always bad). Next time I would like to try their coffee drinks instead. All in all, I would go back for another work session and reorder the pork belly biscuit and a coffee drink. Side note - in addition to the flowers they also sell some other unique items!

Kenyatte S.

Yelp
A flower and sandwich shop all rolled into one. This spot has been on our to-do list for a few months. We were finally in the area and decided to stop in to see what they had to offer. If you need any type of floral arrangements, they can provide. If you are hungry and in the mood for a quick bite, they have tons of great options. From sandwiches to flat breads, to salads Poppyseed Rye aims to please. In the mood for something stronger than lemonade? They have beer, wine and mimosas. This place would be great for brunch! I had the hot pastrami Reuben, and my hubby had the smoked turkey sandwich with roasted red pepper mustard, brie and arugula. Everything was fresh and delicious. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Overall, great ambiance and delicious food...we will definitely be back soon!

Daniel D.

Yelp
I'm surprised they have not brought back an espresso machine to this cafe. I heard it broke a while back. Now they seem to be advertising lattes again but it's only using canned cold brew. I'll stick to other cafes that can offer espresso drinks.

Austin G.

Yelp
After meeting a friend for lunch, we left underwhelmed. While there around noon on a Wednesday, there was a health flow so clearly people like it. (Maybe we ordered wrongly?) I ordered the quiche of the day (bacon and cheese). It came out almost cold and lacked flavor. The crust was too dry and barely tasted the bacon. (The side salad it comes with was great!) Afterwards, we ordered croissants. (They get them from Fresh Baguette.) My nutella croissant was too dry and the nutella to dough ratio was off. Despite the subpar food, the service was efficient and kind. And the space is decorated in flowers, an ode to the florist inside. I also appreciated the giant, self-service cold water jug in the corner with lemons for patrons.

Nicolas P.

Yelp
**Sandwiches are 5/5** All right last update. If you see my first review you'll see I had some problems with the flowers - shorted on stems and a lot had bad spots on them. Owner reached out and apologized and made things right. Definitely wanted to give them another shot because it's local and the flowers are otherwise beautiful! Pre-ordered a dozen roses for valentine's day this year and although they were beautiful, I was once again shorted on stems. Getting 11 roses when you order 12 doesn't seem like a massive deal but when I'm paying that much money I expect to get what I ordered. The owner apologized last time and offered me a bouquet, but all I want is to know that I'll receive what I ordered. And since I didn't receive what I ordered twice in a row, I don't think I'll be back here for flowers. I also reached out via their website over a week ago and have not heard back.

Cassie P.

Yelp
What a lovely lunch outing. The staff was so friendly and the food was yummy! Went in thinking I was going to eat a light lunch- you can... but how can I turn down a biscuit with pork belly?? Yum! Try it! Lovely inside... you can grab some flowers and a card as a gift and grab a coffee and croissant or a quick lunch! Love this little find! Can't wait to go back.

Tiffany S.

Yelp
I've ordered from this place several times. They're always fresh, reasonably priced, tasty and consistent. I love the smoked turkey sandwich and the roasted veggie panini. You can't go wrong with any of their sandwiches and salads! The other day I stopped by to dine in and this place is very charming. Fresh flowers, friendly staff and its conveniently located. The flower shop inside is an added bonus!

Carly C.

Yelp
Poppyseed rye is such a great place for breakfast or lunches. Their service is very welcoming and the food is great. I mostly get breakfast there and love their breakfast options and pastries. I have gotten flowers from there multiple times as well as attended a bouquet making class and the inside of poppyseed is sooo cute! They are constantly adding different items to the menu. I am very happy they opened so close to my apartment.

Katie S.

Yelp
Poppyseed Rye is such an adorable café/flower shop combo! I had the quiche of the day & my boyfriend had the Capicola sandwich. The quiche of the day was squash & ricotta - it was good, but honestly, it was more of an egg scramble than a quiche. My boyfriend loved the capicola. And, whatever salad dressing they put on their greens was to DIE FOR!!!

Khushi T.

Yelp
I got the hazelnut iced coffee and pesto panini. The panini was really good size for the price, but it's one of those things that only tastes good fresh off the grill because of the egg whites. Card only place. Cute interior with lots of seating. Iced coffee was good too and satisfied the caffeine craving but it had a kind of aftertaste.

Jim H.

Yelp
GPS actually took me to the wrong street but luckily this place was still easy to find. It is located to the left of Bruegger's Bagels. I came here on a Saturday evening and it was basically empty so lots of seating. I was surprised to find out this place is also a flower shop which was interesting. I ordered the ham sandwich with pumpernickel. It was a simple sandwich but still worth the money. Service was knowledgeable and quick. I definitely plan on coming back and trying more selections.

Claudia J.

Yelp
I love the idea - this is a cafe where they also sell flowers/gift baskets, how cute :) I'll definitely keep this place in mind if I ever need a last minute gift! I got the reuben with no sauerkraut today - personally I'm not a fan of pickled veggies haha. The sandwich was piping hot, it was grilled to perfection and the pastrami was so flavorful. The meat wasn't dry at all. There was a good amount of melted cheese and it was delicious. I'll definitely be back, their pastries look so tasty!

Ori F.

Yelp
The sandwich I got was very average. Based on how it looked and tasted, I'm fairly certain I could make the same sandwich at home with more flavor. To be fair, it wasn't bad but I 100% wouldn't pay for a sandwich like this. Felt like eating a sandwich you smack together when you're so hungry but have time to really make anything, so you literally grab bread and meat

Mitch S.

Yelp
Poppyseeds Rye is one of the best unknown lunch spots in downtown ballston. This place NEVER MISSES. You can't go wrong with the variety of handheld sandwiches, salads, and much more. As well as a whole flower shop in the store as well! I ordered the cheddar, harvarti, Swiss toasted sandwich and it was delicious. A great toasty, and combo of flavors. There was a hot honey drizzle that they put on the outside of the sandwich, it was delicious just make sure you have extra napkins and wash your hands when they get sticky. Perfect to pair with the fresh lemonade. I loved it, great tart but smooth finish. I talked with the manager and they are soon opening for breakfast as well starting at 9am everyday. (Right now they only serve breakfast Sat-Sunday) Check this place out if you can! Awesome scenery and beautiful outdoor dining area as well.

Len S.

Yelp
Great place for a sandwich or salad, people are friendly and food is delicious. Bonus: Nice outdoor seating when the weather is properly warm.

Ashley J.

Yelp
Beautiful store with great customer service! My boyfriend and I stopped in for a quick bite before hitting the road back to MD and this place did not disappoint. The space is beautiful and the food was fresh. They have an excellent drink selection as well, and the people working were very kind. It was a lovely lunch spot, and I would recommend it to anyone craving a sandwich in Arlington!

Christine B.

Yelp
This is my new favorite sandwich shop. We love the breakfast sandwich with the sausage and recently tried the pork belly biscuit which was a perfect combo of salty and sweet. I've gotten the banh mi sandwich a few times too with the tofu. It's really good and very filling. I'll be back many times!

Bernie P.

Yelp
Stopped in late on a Friday afternoon to do a little work. Very quiet. There are plenty of tables inside and outside and a bar if you prefer to sit there. At 4pm wine was $5 a glass. It was good quality for the price. I had a red blend. I believe called smash berry. Not sweet but nice fruit. I also had a hummus toast. The portion was generous, fresh, and good quality. It was dressed up with tapenade and pickles. It was tasty. Service was friendly and attentive. They also run a flowe business in the shop. I know nothing about flowers but they looked nice and seemed to be fresher and higher quality than Harris teeter nearby. The total price with tax and tip was right at $25. It wasn't cheap since it isn't exactly table service (you order at the bar and pickup at the bar when you are called). However, I enjoyed the food, wine, and overall environment so would consider returning. I think it is worth a try to experience yourself.

Anh N.

Yelp
Such a cute addition to the ballston area. The floral + healthy foods shop is so pretty and a perfect place to catch up with some friends. You order at the counter and they either bring the food out to you or you pick it up at the counter. Ive been back a few times and have gotten the heirloom tomato toast and smoked salmon toast. Heirloom tomato toast: the best avocado toast you will ever have. The dollops of arugula pesto is so good and the bread isn't your typical sourdough bread. The toast is so refreshing and it's my favorite avocado toast in the dc area. Smoked salmon toast: they use the same bread and avocado spread as the heirloom tomato toast, however, I didn't enjoy the pickled radish as much. Overall: really cute floral shop in ballston, you need to get the heirloom tomato toast.

Jeremy G.

Yelp
Been meaning to try this place for a few months now and finally getting around to it. I'll say this, I'll be back. The Marinated Tofu Sandwich is basically a Tofu Banh Mi. The sandwich had high quality ingredients including pickled vegetables, marinated tofu, cilantro, and spicy mayo. There is a good amount of tofu and the sandwich is constructed in such a way that it doesn't fall apart. It is toasted in a panini press for an amazing crunch. I will warn two things. 1) there are a lot of wet ingredients, which will make this sandwich soggy if not eaten immediately and 2) the cilantro is not de-stemmed or chopped, making it difficult to eat. Basically the stalks of cilantro get pulled out of the sandwich as you bite. The ambiance is amazing with plenty of outdoor seating and beautiful flowers inside. If Tiffany's had a cafe inside its store, this is what it would look like. Looking forward to trying their Marinated Artichoke Sandwich next time!

Taylor E.

Yelp
I love this spot and concept! This is a great addition to the neighborhood and the staff is very friendly and accommodating! Not to mention, the aesthetics are on point and very "Instagramable." There's a very large drink selection with about any water, coffee, beer, wine, etc. that you could want. The menu now has a mix of salads, toasts, sandwiches, and a few sides. I was enjoying my lump crab toast (to die for!!!), when a customer ended up calling back to the store to tell the chef that his turkey sandwich was the best he's ever had. If that doesn't make you want to try this spot, I'm not sure what will! The flower selection is so beautiful as well and makes it feel very homey and cozy while you enjoy your food. I'll definitely be picking up a bouquet next time I'm in!

Caitlyn A.

Yelp
Great lunch spot! Wanted to give poppyseed rye a try today as they open and it was great! They have some cool options from charcuterie boards to sandwiches...was quick to run in an grab a sandwich for lunch- tried the smoked Turkey which was delicious! The staff was very welcoming and helpful The atmosphere is super cute with the florals and gifts to shop! Next time will grab a bouquet for sure Can't wait to come back and have a glass of wine!

Sevil C.

Yelp
Tried out Poppyseed Rye today - a new place in Ballston serving sandwiches, salads, toasts, and more. Getting there was easy, and we found a parking spot right outside with free holiday parking! We tried several things (see pics) but I personally enjoyed the Capicola, Ham, Salami sandwich and the Lump Crab toast. Both were made with clearly high-quality ingredients and were large enough to feel that you get a bang for your buck! My fellow diners also enjoyed their sandwiches and salads, and felt satisfied with their choices. The owner also provided us with a free drink from their selection! The presentation of the toast was beautiful and the sandwich would be great for a working lunch (you can currently pick-up lunch you order online). I paired this with the strawberry basil lemonade which was sooo good, just the right amount of basil and sweetness. There is also a floral shop right inside which offers cute gift boxes, arrangements, and other nice gifts. Very one-stop-shop. Definitely give them a try! Soon there will no doubt be a line out the door.

Laura C.

Yelp
We love Poppyseed Rye! We just hosted our daughter's first birthday party at the restaurant, and it went flawlessly. The food was outstanding, and also made for a really great leftovers. The Poppyseed Rye team helped us set up a lovely mimosa bar had a great decorations and excellent service throughout the event. All of our friends were complimenting the restaurant during the party and expressed their excitement to visit again on their own. Poppyseed Rye is a true gem in the Arlington neighborhood. Thanks for all you do!

Britney C.

Yelp
Super cute flower shop and sandwich shop. I came in on a Sunday morning right a they opened and they were not quite setup yet. Totally fine, they are probably still working out the kinks. The staff and vibe is inviting and my Smoked Salmon toast was delicious, I would definitely get it again. Their coffee is nothing fancy, but they have hot brewed coffee if you need it. They also have a small selection of canned beers and wine I believe by the counter. As for the flowers, there was not much of a selection at the time of my visit which was unfortunate because I was looking forward to bringing home some fresh flowers. I will have to check them out again soon as one of the employees told my friend and I that there will be some flower shipments coming soon!

Mike C.

Yelp
Went to this new place in Ballston. It was great! Parking was easy and the restaurant is lovely. I had the cuban sandwich - also great. The prices were very reasonable and we got to meet the chef - a nice personal touch. They also have a flower shop. It's our new go to place when we are in the Metro DC area.

Alex M.

Yelp
They just keep me coming back. As a born and raised northerner this sandwich shop is what I dreamed of. A very creative menu keeps my interests peaked at all times and their specials are truly special. Their rotating soup selection holds its own against the great sandwich selection!

Samantha S.

Yelp
Delicious, reasonably priced sandwich spot in ballston. We got the pork belly biscuit and prosciutto sandwich. My feedback is while the biscuit was delicious (buttery/ light) and I liked the sauce on it; my sandwich was a notch above room temp and barely warm. The prosciutto sandwich had a ton of thinly sliced prosciutto and well dressed greens but it almost needed an aioli because it was dry. Very friendly staff and a wide variety of sandwiches.

Danielle S.

Yelp
I ordered the baby kale salad. Really great crunch with the radishes, beets and chickpeas. I added lump crab but i would not recommend spending money on this addition. Very overpriced for one tiny spoon of crab. I barely tasted it.

Nikki N.

Yelp
This place has been such a welcome addition to Ballston! Their sandwiches are great and hefty and their toasts are delicious as well. I have never bought a floral arrangement but they look gorgeous. My favorites are the tofu bahn mi, the roast pork sandwich (like a cubano) and the tomato pesto avocado toast. Definitely stop by here!

Larry H.

Yelp
The sandwich shop is really colorful inside and has amazing food to offer it has a beautiful floral vibe to it and it also has outdoor seating as well as indoor seating they even have wine available for purchase which I found was quite unique as well. I met a friend here and had the Southwestern Chicken Salad. My salad was very filling and had ample protein I paired it with a green tee and strawberry lemonade to quench my thirst . My friend got a grilled cheese sandwich. Overall I will definitely come back. The staff were really friendly and offered recommendations on the menu for a nice lunch date.

Elizabeth V.

Yelp
I love this place and don't want to write a review because I want to keep it a secret. But the secret is out. The decor is lovely and the food is delicious. I like the diversity of their florist section as well. I bought flowers for a new neighbor and they were really nice and the employee taught me which flowers cats should avoid. Please support this small business. It is just what Ballston needs.

Food R.

Yelp
That meatball sub is out of this WORLD! It takes like lasagna if it was a sub. That ricotta or goat cheese in it makes all the difference. And the basil and spinach mixture.. ugh so amazing. Genuinely the best meat ball sub I've ever had. Heck, best sub I've ever had. This place is hands down brilliant. I ordered for delivery and it was still warm and wonderful. The jalapeño chips are definitely a staple for the sub. Will 100% order again!! Only down side is it closes at 4:00pm. I would order from here all the time otherwise.

Kiana C.

Yelp
All of their sandwiches are amazing! Customer service is brilliant. Their Ruben and meatball sub are my go to for lunch. So filling I probably eat half and finish the rest later. Yes it's pricey for a sandwich but it's ballston. They have plenty to offer, they do have Apple Pay. Overall this place is so cute with good food I definitely recommend to anyone. Also free wifi !

Shannon C.

Yelp
so bummed because i really really love this place and used to go 2-4 times a week but they no longer have an espresso machine. they used to make the best lattes and now i find myself opting to go to the starbucks across the street or another coffee shop down the way. their food is still incredible but i go significantly less now that espresso is not an option. bring back the espresso!!

Shelby B.

Yelp
Poppyseed Rye was a great spot for me to grab lunch and get some work done. I had the delicious turkey sandwich and it was amazing. I can't wait to go back to try other items on the menu. The fresh florals are an added bonus to this space! So beautiful. Service was quick and friendly. There was plenty of space for me to work for awhile in the cafe, it was fairly quiet

Emily S.

Yelp
Still 5 stars but updating for floral experience. As I said in my earlier review, sandwiches are fire and the drink selection is super fun. Nice ambiance, nice people, all that. Meatball sandwich is, in particular, a masterpiece. Came back a second time for to go lunch before going home to get ready for a friend's party. I needed a gift but hadn't had a chance to grab one and was at a loss. Then I remembered this places has flowers. There were multiple beautiful options at very reasonable prices and I ended up spending under $40 for a large, wild, lush looking bouquet in a vase. It would easily have cost twice that at a traditional florist. Floral service was as attentive as food service and they wrapped it up with tremendous care and attention to detail. A++
