The Best Sandwich Shops in Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"Sure, you have to order at the window and sit outside or take your food to go, but Pop’s has been serving its Philly-style hoagies since 2002. The standalone restaurant is open 24 hours, so you can visit for lunch or a late-night bite and get your fill of steak sandwiches loaded with peppers, onions, and Cheez Whiz, plus baskets of fried mushrooms, fried okra, jalapeno poppers, and zucchini sticks." - Janna Karel

Google
Excellent cheese steaks, the best you're likely to find anywhere in the area. There are many variations on the menu, but the cheese whiz is the traditional choice and the best starting point, if you're not already a connoisseur of cheese steaks. There is only outside seating, so this is a good choice only when the weather is nice. This place is legendary, so a must try eatery in the area.

If you can endure the worst service imaginable at a take out restaurant, you will be able to eat the best Philly cheese steak sandwich in Vegas. Tonight I went for the 3rd time, the cashier (middle age heavy set Hispanic lady) was incredibly rude, for no reason at all. She barks at the customers that she will only call their number once & once only. Then she literally tossed my bag of food at me, & I had to catch it or it would have fell on the floor. I was in total disbelief. Food is delicious but expensive, for two people it was $50 ( 2 sandwiches, 1 onion rings & 2 drinks). Not to mention the first time I visited this place, I was told that they are not taking any more orders. Wait, what? You are a 24hr establishment. I won't be returning which is disappointing because the food was great but I refuse to give business to them after my awful experience. To the Owner, my visit was on 4.11.25 at 8:30pm, just Incase you care enough to know who was working and driving away your business.

Google
POP. Acronym for Pride of Philadelphia. Home of the Philly cheese-steak. So the saying goes, at one time in history. Although I always thought Philadelphia was known for their cream cheese. That, and a mammoth sized tinkerbell, called Liberty Bell. I suppose many sayings depend on time and place. But somehow the best ones seem to echo through time. As labels and products often change. Which is the reason I mat bark at a server. Yet I take time to get to know a food vendor. Because it takes an intuition of trust. To allow any hand to feed you.

Google
Food was delicious, staff was kind, received food quickly! I got the cheesesteak with grilled onions, american cheese, and a side of onion rings. Cheesesteak was delicious, felt like good taste and quality for the price. Bread was soft and fluffy, steak juicy, and cheese gooey. Onion rings taste was good, but unfortunately I took them to-go and they got soggy on the ride home, but I imagine if you ate at the restaurant they would be crispy!

Google
What can I say, "it's P.O.P.S. We stayed away for awhile because the business seemed to struggling a little but upon our return they did not disappoint. It was delicious. We even tried the steak& cheese fries, they also didn't disappoint. There's definitely nothing healthy about it but it's perfect when you want to be bad and go for taste. Loved it!!!

Google
I have been wanting to go here for a while if you like chili cheese fries, I would highly recommend. Seating is outside so just prepare cause it was one hot day when we went 🥵

Analisa Harvey

Google
Showed up hungry. Left satisfied. Options are great. We came here to try something new. I got the #19 my husband and kid got the #8 & #9. We also had to try the fried mushrooms and Mac n cheese bites. They were cooked to perfection and quickly. Food was very tasty. The staff was polite and quick. Parking is limited and there is plenty of seating. It's all outdoors and shaded. We came at night when it was a bit chilly but comfortable enough to eat out. Highly recommend coming out and trying. You can also substitute the steak for chicken.

Michael Sutphin

Google
This is one the best Philly's I've had in Vegas. Highly recommend stopping by, I had the #6 with mushrooms and some jalapeno poppers, enjoyed every bite. The outdoor seating might be the only downside, but it didn't take away from the taste.

Yelp
The cheesesteaks here are everything you'd hope for: the bread is soft yet sturdy enough to hold up to the generous fillings, and the steak is perfectly cooked, tender, and packed with flavor. What really makes Pop's stand out is their commitment to authenticity. The cheesesteaks are loaded with the classic ingredients--thinly sliced ribeye, grilled onions, and your choice of cheese, whether it's the traditional Cheez Whiz, provolone, or American. The balance of flavors and textures is spot on, making each bite as satisfying as the last. In addition to their signature cheesesteaks, Pop's offers a variety of other Philly-inspired favorites, all made with the same level of care and attention to detail. The portions are hearty, so you definitely get your money's worth, and the friendly, laid-back atmosphere makes it a great spot to enjoy a casual meal. Whether you're a Philly native longing for a taste of home or just a fan of great food, Pop's Philly Cheesesteaks is a must-visit in Las Vegas. The combination of authentic flavors, generous portions, and welcoming service ensures that you'll leave full and happy, already planning your next visit.

Yelp
First time here. We weren't disappointed! Fast and friendly service! We had the #9 Philly w/ bacon, onions and we added mushrooms. Seating area was very clean and with the covered seating area is not too hot. I'd give the Philly an 8.5 out of 10. The meat was very tasty and they give you a good amount. It was a little dry for me but definitely trying it again.

Yelp
Easy service. Good food. Good Beverage! Ordered our food and it was ready within 5 minutes. The food was super fresh and super hot which is just the way I like my food!

Yelp
Pop's is great place to get away from the fancy and/or expensive food on the strip. It's good honest food at an affordable price. We always stop by here on our way home from Vegas. The diners are locals and it's a hidden gem; granted, it is pretty far from the strip so it's a trek to come here on an Uber. The service is quick and the dining area are filled with blue collar workers and tourists like me.

Yelp
This local staple is the spot if you are looking for a late night sub after a long night in Vegas. Open 24 hrs. This spot has all the options you ever wanted in a sub. The most popular is the peppers and mushroom #32 or the pastrami. Packed with meat and all loaded in a soft roll, this grease bomb will hit the spot. There are a ton of add ons too, so don't be shy. They have a bunch of sides as well. Pretty much anything fried is on the menu. The fries come in all different ways. My favorite is the chili cheese. If you are looking for some late night eats roll thru Pop's!

Yelp
I felt it was fine. Little pricy for what kind of taste like a fast food version of a Philly.

Yelp
Food came out really quick and service was great! Great place to visit in you're in Las Vegas, it's off the strip so not as crowded as other popular places to eat. I got the mushroom cheesesteak, and it was great.

Yelp
I decided to get delivery through Ubereats from Pop's based on a Tiktok recommendation. We ordered the Italian salad, which came with their homemade Ranch, fried mushrooms, jalapeño poppers and the Pepper and Mushroom cheesesteak. The salad was huge so the serving of dressing wasn't big enough for the salad. It was very tasty. I ended up using some Italian dressing on a portion of my salad and preferred the flavor to the Ranch. The mushrooms and poppers were hot and flavorful and should have come with a dipping sauce, not something you should have to pay extra for. The cheesesteak was good aside from the fact the fact that I felt it wasn't as juicy as some of the cheesesteaks I've had at other places, so I added some BBQ sauce for that. Overall it was great, just a few minor things I'd change.

Yelp
Finally had a chance to try out the iconic Pop's and it was so good I'm wishing it was closer to my house! I loved the neon signage and silly artwork that adorn this walk-up eatery. They have a small parking lot which is nice since street parking could be a little rough in the surrounding neighborhood. They do have a covered area with tables if you want to eat there, but during summer or the few cold months we have it's probably best to take it to go. Also note that there is no restroom for customers. Service was quick and friendly and the Philly steaks were so dang good. I stuck with something simple; the #4 - just steak & provolone. My husband got the #6 - steak, mushrooms & provolone. Not only was the meat good quality, but the bread was good too. We also got a side of fries to share that were decent. Since it was a chilly night we took our Philly's to go and enjoyed them at a local brewery down the street. Definitely gonna grab these to go again soon!

Yelp
Now Pops has the absolute best subs in town for sure. I've been there a couple of times and always absolutely phenomenal food. It is the closest you will get to an East Coast Philly cheesesteak hands down; however, my most recent visit was horrible!! My order was picked up and one of the sandwiches was left out. Now tried to call back, but the phone was off the hook. They have a new female person at the front window who is extremely rude and her customer service is horrible! I went back and showed her my ticket and said one of my sandwiches was left out, she began to argue with me about I could've picked the ticket up off of the floor. My ticket was number 21 and they were on number 40 and she didn't have any extra sandwiches, so she couldn't have made a mistake. Now I have been to other places where they have left something off of my order before and every time establishment has made it right, this one failed horribly. Just to say that I am going or anyone is going to pick up a ticket off the floor and say a sandwich was missing to try and get a free one-EXCUSE ME?!? My number 21 and now you are on number 40, which proves that about an hour ago, this mistake was made. How much is it going to take you to make a new sandwich and keep a customer??? No you would rather argue with me about how I'm trying to deceive you, rather than. believing in your customers who tell you that you made a mistake! I'm not here to argue with you, just asking you to please rectify it. No, you would rather be extremely rude and accusatory, even ask them another person in the back (I guess the manager or supervisor) and he said no as well. I would never ever go back to this place again!!!

Yelp
Food was ok extremely overpriced for condiments. This size ranch dressing cost me $3.70 subs are about $15 no sides.

Yelp
I've been sitting back and contemplating on writing this review, but after having one of the best Philly Cheese Steaks from a local bar called "Tap House", I felt now is the time. For, only doing Cheese Steaks, Pops is bad, like really bad. I don't know if this experience is unique to me, but it feels like they dunk their cheese steaks in a bucket of water and then serve it to you. The bread was extremely wet and the quality seems cheap, the meat also was sparse and felt cheap in quality. I will give this place one more chance in the near future and write an update, as maybe my cheese steak did accidentally fall into a bucket of water.

Yelp
Saw this gem on YouTube and decided to visit. It's was a great choice! The best Philly I've ever had! Very Delicious! I will definitely be back next time I'm in Las Vegas

Yelp
Love this place! I live in Arizona, but I've always got to eat at POP'S when I come to Vegas. I'm seriously addicted to that place. Sooo good! I wish they would open one in Scottsdale.
google avatar

Yelp
There's a line during lunch and late night so go with patience. Go here, go hungry, get a cheesesteak

Yelp
Having been born and raised in Philly I would like to think I know a thing or two about Philly Cheese steaks. Their rolls are great for the sandwiches, they have assorted cheeses, and the steak meat is tasty. They made wifey and I sandwiches exactly the way we like it. The service was fast and, as earlier mentioned made to order to our liking. Ambiance well, how about a picnic outdoors. Get your goods and go, or sit at the outdoor seating with fans blowing under a covered patio. This place is open 24 hours I can't speak to the evening shift the afternoon makes a good sandwich. I highly recommend!!!!

James S.

Yelp
Good meal, good price... You'll definitely spend more at Mike's or capriotti's... And better than both... Chili cheese fries are off the hook I grabbed it just classic Philly... A+
google avatar

Yelp
Sweet. Mother. Of The. Sandwich. GODS!!!! This is probably the best Philly I've ever had. I've eaten my share and there are many, many that I would eat again but Pops really takes its place as the pinnacle of great sandwiches. This spot is open 24/7 and I am quite positive the "after party" after a night of drinking would be divine here. Many, many good sandwich options and they aren't scared to layer on the meat, toppings, or cheese. Like all self respecting Philly shops you can get several types of cheese including Whiz (the only true cheese topping.) Be prepared to get some of this down the front of you. It is a PHAT sammich and extremely juicy. You cannot possible look cute or delicate trying to eat this hog. Sides were decent (we loved the sweet potato fries, liked the buffalo cauliflower, and didn't care for the Oreo Churros). They serve a dipping sauce with the Sweet Potato Fries that is like crack, you just can't get enough. It's 100% outside dining, there is going to be a small wait at the window, and you are going to be rewarded with some great people watching while you tear down that sandwich. Side Note: The owner stopped by our table and chatted, she is the sweetest lady and granddaughter of the founder. She talked with us for a bit and you can tell she loves what she does and her customers. It was a nice ending to a fabulous meal. Pops is 100% on the "must visit" list for Vegas going forward.

Yelp
It's been years since I last came here but it's a great local spot and I hope they stay in business for many years to come. It's a staple to those that call themselves a Las Vegas native. Love that it's open 24 hours and love that there's a line of people ready to grub. The food smells delicious coming out the window and it was tasty! I'm no philly cheesesteak connoisseur but I imagine the philly cheesesteak tastes exactly how it's supposed to.
google avatar

Sarin P.

Yelp
WOW! Probably one of my favorite finds in Las Vegas thus far. This place is open 24 hours and rightfully so. They serve one of the most epic Philly steak sandwiches. You can customize your sandwich or go with a unique one right off the menu. A bit pricey, costing you $15ish a sandwich and $4 for fries but easily shareable. There is a ton of outdoor seating but be warned it is located on quite a busy intersection welcoming all walks of life. The parking lot is small but there is plenty of street parking on the residential side.

Dante B.

Yelp
Fries were a bit under cooked, little seasoning. But the pepperoni cheesesteak slaps hard every time!! Can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Yelp
Over on Decatur 24 hr cheesestakes I got the #32 peppers and mushroom. It was good but not spicy and not overly flavorful Still getting a late night cheesesteak is a win Will definitely comeback to try a regular

Yelp
Went on a cheesesteak-crawl w the lady this most recent Vegas trip and this was our favorite spot! Between Pop's, Paulie's South St, & Those Guys Pies, we preferred Pops bc it was simple, str8 to the point, and just damn good.. we ordered a Philly 'wit' onions and American cheese at all three locations to keep scores/ratings accurate At Pops we enjoyed the simply seasoned thin cut ribeye meat and hot/fresh/soft amoroso roll. People!!! Amoroso rolls from Philly is a must when making/eating a proper cheesesteak! The fried zucchini was amazing! The veggies were super fresh w a lil snap in em still and the batter was seasoned perfectly w an Italian blend. The ranch sauce was light and a lil watery, just the way I like it. I can't wait to try #32 next time w grilled onions, peppers, & mushrooms... I may go all out and do double meat w American cheese and whiz on the side Paulie's South St uses great quality meat, Kobe & prime sirloin, and u can taste it! However, everything was just a lil too rich & decadent and a tad on the salty side.. the bread was yummy and toasted perfectly, but it wasn't an amoroso roll and that's a mini deal breaker.. As for Those Guys Pies the meat was chopped up waaaaaaay too much, almost like a chopped cheese rather than a cheesesteak, and there seemed to be too much cheese and not enough meat.. the ratio was definitely off (to me) and no amoroso roll here either. We still need to try "Straight from Philly Steakout" in Henderson, but as of now Pop's has our vote!
google avatar

Coleman V.

Yelp
I know its a classic spot, but I wasen't impressed. Cheesteak is like any other you can get from any chain. Sweet potato fries were limp and had not a single grain of salt. Guys were not the nicest up front (woulden't normally care if food is good). If you have seen this place online and are thinking about coming; DO NOT. $24 for a steak and fries, go elsewhere.

Yelp
We have been wanting to try Pops and finally did! The location is super easy to find on the corner of Decatur and Alta. The building you really can't miss! Ordering is very easy, just decide what you want and tell the cook what you want and how you want it. Step to the next window and pay. It won't take long for your order to be ready and your number called. Seating is easy here....eat outside at one of the tables or take it to go. The cheesesteak here is good. Very similar to some I have had in Pennsylvania. Is the best of Philly? No but it is good and its Las Vegas, not PA. The Pastrami was very good also. Their pickles are very good and the sandwich could use a few more for my liking. But overall it was really good! The chili cheese fries might not look like much, but they taste really good. I would definitely get them again!

Aiyyeimah S. B.

Yelp
First time going.... Good customer service w/a clean and welcoming atmosphere! Oh!!!!! Last but certainly not Least (it's the MOST!).... Their 'Italian Beef' is serving "Portillo's Chicago" a FINAL NOTICE, that they HAVE REAL LIFE COMPETITION at their heels!! I thought I'd never taste an Italian Beef Sandwich like Portillo's outside of Chicago!! But, Las Vegas -- Paulie's South Street Steaks changed my "Gustatory and Olfactory (the smell of the cooking causes salivation) Perceptions"!! IJS ‍

Yelp
The best Philly cheesesteak's in town!!! No other compares and they also have Tasty Cakes on hand when I have been there. Don't want to drive? Use Uber Eats. We had them deliver to the SouthPoint area and the bag came with the food still hot!!! Now I don't have to keep bugging my cousins to bring the sandwiches when they come to visit from PA. lol. Thanks Pops for bringing a bit of home to Vegas.
google avatar

Tabitha G.

Yelp
Do I eat here every week? Yes. Do they have delicious cheesesteak hoagies? they updated the menu boards so hopefully there is less confusion - make sure you specify your cheese choice since they have 3 (provolone, whiz and American).
google avatar

vita f.

Yelp
Fast service and food was good. If you're a Philly cheesestaker this is the place to go. They are open 24 hrs so if you are out on the town and need some grub they are a place to go. Located sort of in the middle of Vegas but on the west side of town. There was plenty of parking maybe because it was cooler outside so there was not a lot of people out but was able to park order and enjoy the food. This place doesn't have a lot of decor it's simple and has some signs about the place but nothing special about it decoration wise.
google avatar

Jovy S.

Yelp
Did a GrubHub order got the mushroom cheesesteak and sweet potato fries. Cheesesteak was good a lot of meat cheesy soggy bread but enough to have for two meals sweet potato fries was soggy and tasteful, but I still ate them anyway. very excited, but hopefully my second experience will be better

Yelp
My Pops experience was great. I ordered steak with peppers, mushrooms and cheese wiz. The bread was soft and fresh the steak was good a little light. The over all sandwich was delicious, but it was extremely messy. They overloaded with cheese. The service was excellent the gentleman brought my food to me, napkins and a fork. They have some outdoor sitting. It gets the job done and you can enjoy your meal there. If you haven't been I highly suggest you give them a try.

Yelp
I'm 31 years old and been going here since I was in middle school. Place is amazing and so happy it's still open and food amazing as always. The service is fast and food is amazing price. Such a relax place to eat and across for Arizona Charlie, where after a night of gambling I finish the night with an amazing steak Philly. My brother came to visit from out the country and had to bring hi. Here he was happy and loved the food. Thank ya for the amazing food
google avatar

Yelp
The food's decidedly 4-star and authentic to Pennsylvania, as they import their bread. It tastes good and they're open 24 hours. They encourage you to watch your food being prepared to eliminate mistakes, but the customer experience is poor. This business is situated in a former Wienerschnitzel, so this means no bathrooms, no way to wash your hands and limited outdoor seating. They have no sanitizer available and the bottle opener for Mexican cokes is a sticky mess tethered to the wall on a string. They only sell fountain Pepsi, which means they're a cheap business which likely gets the syrup for free in return for not having Coke products. It's sadly a common tale and as others have pointed out, the drinks are too expensive. The food is nearly overpriced and it's clear they expect everyone to take their food to go, which is quixotic, particularly with the ideal location they have. This place has lazy ownership and is happy to only sell to existing customers and since they have no drive through window, it's amazing they didn't close during the pandemic. In the end, they have no interest in increasing their business or doing the few necessary things they need to do to be in parody with a fast food or eatery operation. It's always tragic to see a place which has figured out the tough stuff and has good food, but is indifferent to all the other simple things. If there weren't casinos across the street, it's a good guess they'd be out of business; since food is a volume business and this is likely how they survived the pandemic. If the ownership wasn't lazy and ignorant they'd use the employee bathrooms all Wienerschnitzel's have for the customers, install an outdoor sink, get some parking and have regular drinks. They also don't recycle glass Mexican coke bottles and encouraged me to throw them in the trash. They don't have the common sense to move to another physical location anywhere else in the area that's more appropriate. The tables were all dirty and sticky as well, so you'll likely have to wipe down the table yourself. My recommendation is to have somebody get the food and take it back to your home or hotel, but without a takeout window it's not worth the effort unless you really want a cheesesteak, particularly since you'll likely have to augment the meal with you own drinks. It'll taste great, but is frustrating to acquire food or eat on the premises. The food is 4-stars, but I've had better and the customer experience is 2-stars, hence an average rating of 3-stars.

Yelp
Wanted to get my fix of a pastrami and swiss hoagie today, only to get all the way home and see that they completely did my order wrong. As you can see theres no pastrami or swiss. Still ate it anyways cuz Im not tryna drive clear back over town. Sad part about it is they made us wait five minutes to change over shifts and they werent even busy. Just please next time Pop's cooks make sure you making the right thing. Yea I shouldve checked before I left but when yall not busy, one would think an order could be made correctly. Hope this doesnt happen again. 7/10 on the sammie. Needs some love to it.

Yelp
I saw this cute and busy triangle shaped restaurant I decided to give it a try. Open 24 hours. Good late night food. - Food: The food itself is average, not so impressive, nothing special. The seasoning was soaked enough but not delicious lol There is plenty of various combination options, sandwiches, with sides like Mac n Cheese bites, fries, onion rings, and a vegetarian option. * Secret Menu* Cheese Whiz Madness Any of delicious cheesesteaks in a to-go container smothered in cheese whiz from top to bottom. (Be sure to ask for a fork, knife and plenty of extra napkins) - Space: Old school drive through vibe stand-alone building. There is only an outdoor eating area with 3-4 tables on the corner of a big roads so it can be noisy and doesn't feel clean (air quality, etc). Most customers seemed to have their food to-go. - Price: Unexpectedly more expensive side for a mom & pop restaurant when considering no waiting staff and indoor eating space. - Service: Everything was fast and smooth - Location: it is on the corner of Alta and Decatur, about 15 min drive from the Strip - ETC: 30% off for Military and Emergency service customers (police officer, firefighter, paramedic, etc.) They sell like 2,000 cheesesteaks/week! (per their website) Not many parking spots No drive through No bathrooms or wash stand [Will I go back?] I think going there is as an unique experience rather than the food itself: A busy, mom & pop vibe, cute triangle shaped building, convenient location, Philly steak specialty with variations Looks always busy As a Vegas local, I might go back to try other options.

Yelp
I went again hoping my terrible experience was a one off. I loved Pops. This time was worse. It seems there was a long hair right it my cheese sauce. I opened the lid to my ranch and it had tiny little ants crawling on it. I tried to let them know and someone by the name of Donald told me that it wasn't his problem. Will not return.

Yelp
Being born and raised in Philadelphia, I'd rate Pop's cheesesteaks as "pretty good". Fresh bread, decent amount of meat and fries were ok. Took my order to go but plenty of outside seating is available. Taste, quality and service was good!

Scott M.

Yelp
I've been there 3 times but never again. The first time I went there to try their sandwiches as I was walking up a female employee was standing outside the open back door on her phone and told me their system was down so they were closed for the time being. The second time I went I took my sister who placed the order with the cook. There was one person ahead of us who was in the process of paying and then when it was our turn the cashier asked us to confirm that the order was correct so as my sister was paying I looked at the order screen and noticed one of the sandwiches wasn't correct so I told my sister who tells the cashier who starts screaming at my sister, and I do mean angrily screaming, you've got to tell him (the cook), you've got to tell him. If we hadn't already paid by that point we would have been out of there. The cashier talked to the cook about the order and he had gotten the order correct but somewhere in-between them what the cashier charged us for was wrong. Shame on me for going back after the screaming incident but I only did that because my mother no longer drives and happened to like the sandwich we had gotten her the time before so I relented and went back. When I arrived there were no customers and the three employees were standing at the back of the kitchen furthest away from the ordering window. One of the two female employees noticed me and gestured with her head to the cook that there was someone at the window so he walks over to the window, doesn't say a word, does an upward nod like yeah so I placed my order and he repeats it in fluent English. As I'm waiting, and I'm still the only customer, the cook says something to me which I can't hear over the traffic noise so I stepped up closer to the window and told him I couldn't hear him. He proceeds to confirm my order, which has already been cooking now for awhile, half in Spanish and half in English which was odd since he confirmed it in fluent English when I placed it. I replied confirming my order in English and said I don't speak Spanish at which point all 3 of the employees started to laugh and before they had laughing I said in Spanish I'm sorry I don't speak Spanish at which point they laughed harder and said don't worry, you had already passed the test. The test? So I guess they were playing an obnoxious game of seeing how I'd react to the cook speaking to me in Spanish? Yes, shame on me for being a fool to give this place another chance. Never again. As for their sandwiches, half the family liked them but the other half said all they could taste was oil which is probably the oil they use on the grill to cook the meat with because they're pretty generous squirting it on but absolutely stingy when it comes to the add ons such as onions and green peppers and things like that because what little amounts they do add cook down to the point you can't tell there is anything in the sandwich other than the beef. The 2 stars are for the sandwiches. As for the service...well you can't say that on Yelp reviews.

Yelp
When in Philly, but you're really in Las Vegas. If you're craving a good Philly cheesesteak, this is the place to go. We came on a Tuesday for an early dinner and there was no line and received our food right away. This place is a close second to your fix of a Pat's Philly cheesesteak. Tip- slather on some hot sauce and order it with extra grilled onions and you'll have a bomb cheesesteak. Located right off of Decatur blvd so it feels as though you're in the streets of Philly

Yelp
Food here is one of a kind! Old school set up but it's efficient. Staff were quick to take orders and to push them out quickly. Lots of menu items to choose from but of course I went for the traditional Philly steak $12.99 Portion size was more than expected and it was piping hot! Will definitely be back when in the area.

Yelp
While in Las Vegas and chatting with one of the hotel employees we asked if she had any suggestions on where we should eat off the strip, somewhere locals might go. She recommended Pop's Pride of Philly Steaks so we decided to give it a try. All the seating is outdoor but it is covered and the ceiling had fans hanging down which I'm sure help a bit during the hot summer months. It appears the building might be an old Wienerschnitzel's restaurant. They have a small parking lot, maybe 10 - 12 spaces and though you drive in to the spaces you will need to back out of the lot to get back to the main street. They had the old drive-thru area coned off so you can't exit through there. No idea if it's always like that or just the day we were there. You place you order directly with the chef/cook, through a screen directly in front of the grill. They are cooking the food, while you order. You then move to the next window to add any drinks you might want and to pay. I usually get the chicken when I'm at a cheesesteak place but went with the beef this time. We ordered two sandwiches both with beef, one with whiz and onions and the other with provolone, no onions. We also ordered the fries and jalapeño poppers. Dang were those sandwiches good and quite large. The bread/rolls they used was fantastic, the sandwiches nice and hot. The fries and poppers were also nice and hot. Unfortunately, after my daughter took a bite of the jalapeño popper did she discover they had cream cheese in them She's not a big fan of cream cheese and had she known she wouldn't have ordered them It didn't mention cream cheese on the menu. Don't get me wrong, she ate them but wished they came without the cream cheese. I highly recommend Pop's whenever you're in Las Vegas. I know for a fact the next time we visit and have access to a vehicle we'll be stopping by another cheesesteak. It's also helps to know they are open 24/7/365 so we can swing by no matter what day or time it is.

Yelp
Yes! Pops is still here. Excellent Philly cheesesteak and other street food fare. Several vegetarian options. My favorite is the #38, 4-cheese (Mushroom) Veggie Philly (and yes cheese is optional). Deep fried sides like zucchini, mushrooms, okra, cauliflower & green beans are available in addition to the fries & sweet potato fries & onion rings. The green beans are my go-to. Sometimes the line is long, and the mouthwatering smells slow down time, but it's worth the wait. Once they got your order the food comes out lightning fast. Everybody is super friendly. Outdoor seating. Glad Pops survived when soo many businesses shut down permanently during pandemic.

Yelp
It wasbreally good, but It seems they've changed ownership and now its not as good asbI remember. Everytime we visited Las Vegas, this WAS the spot, but not so much anymore.

Yelp
What an amazing find! I was in Vegas for a tradeshow and one of the days I fell asleep at an odd hour after work. Woke up starving at 11pm and found this place. I didn't have any expectations...I just wanted to eat something. It's an understatement when I tell you it was love at first bite! I love cheesesteaks and Pops Philly is in my top 5 of all time! Did I mention it's open 24 hours? Great experience! Will def go back

Yelp
We'll. Have been talking about and craving this place since the last time. Was in LV last weekend and had to grab me one! What a disappointment- the prices increased. The sandwich got smaller and they out less meat in them! I spent over $30 for two sandwiches and a drink. When my food was ready asked if they can top off my drink. They said NO. I spent over $30 And can't top off drink! And I got to say the skimping of meat and the sandwiches for smaller. Not to forget to mention. I was the only one there and they took 5 minutes to ask what can I get you? Don't forget what got you here! Good customer service, great quality and size of sandwich!! They have terrible customer service, the quality was just ok now and the size of sandwich has shrieked. Will not go back and will not tell my friends and family to go there!! Let's find a new place!! You blew it !!

Yelp
This place has weathered through the storm for many years pre and post covid and the only thing they have is consistently serving delicious philly steaks and hoagies. I ordered Bell Pepper with cheese and bell pepper with mushrooms and a side of fries. The service is quick. The menu is posted on the wall, you order thru a window, then pay the cashier! Parking is tough though I strongly suggest expanding it. I noticed that most people order to go. They have outdoor seating but It's dusty from my observation. They are also open 24 hours

Yelp
It's a little loud on the patio, but the food is worth it. I've had just about all the items in this menu and i think it's one of the best Philly cheese steak joints in town. The chicken is juicy and delicious. The he friend are golden brown and cooked perfectly. Stop by and check this place out.

Yelp
This place used to be a vegas institution. It has gone way down hill. The cooks are d**KS to be nice about it. And they consistently mess up your order. The food now tastes ick with an increased price tag. I'd rather go to jersey mikes or capriottis for a cheesesteak... and that's a sad day. I will always remember the old days fondly. But never again.

Yelp
My sis like this spot and wanted me to try it. Because Ima PHILADELPHIAN** Well the food was fast. The bread is soft tho i like a more firm crunch on the outside soft on the inside.. oh they had fat cut onions .. I prefer thinly sliced.. . ahhh Im from Philly so I am a bit more critical lol ... Noone there was from Philly. ( I asked) Its not authentic Amoroso rolls tho... My bro says if it's not authentic Amoroso rolls it's just a cheesesteak not a Philly cheese steak . Good Customer service, food was hot and they move fast. You better know Your order when you get to the window. I'd return if my sis wanted to ;))
