Pop's Wings

Came to try out Pops wings in Downey, since i love going to pops cafe. Was met by the Owner of the place Alex, who welcomed me in and showed me around. Super nice and caring guy, always takes care of me. The Wings were great, seasoned perfectly. Mozzarella sticks were really good! I like how i can pick 3 flavors for the 12 piece. Will definitely be back again

Its a pretty good place chill and watch a game. The wings were amazing, specially when they in this tray. The lemon pepper had the right amount of seasoning and the buffalo flavor was pretty tasty.

Went with my brother around last month, and it was awesome! Super friendly staff, and tasty food. We got the wing tower and they were great 😊 will definitely be coming back again soon.

A friend recommended this place to me and I'm glad I listened. He also told me to request libny as a server and luckily did not have to since she happened to serve us. She recommended us the sweet Thai wings and they were delicious. She wouldn't let us leave without trying the banana Nutella empanadas and I'm glad my wife and I listened. I would go back for sure.

Food was delicious! The draft beer was at the perfect temperature. Found this place because of Pop's breakfast. The servers are super nice & attentive. We got the Thai sweet chili flavor & the wings were perfectly cooked. You guys have to try this spot. It's delicious!

Great sports bar, just what Downey needs. Excellent beers on tap, and highly recommend the double smash burger. The games are always on, they had the World Series and the Lakers playing when I went in. You can tell they have friendly staff and the owners treat you like family. Swing on by to Pop's Wings, great food and great vibes. Let's go LA!!!

I love how the wings are turning out here, Pineapple Habanero is a clever and amazing combination. The double smash burger is a must! The service is top tier, Marcos was absolutely awesome! Very knowledgeable and helped us with a few recommendations. 5 star experience for sure. We're definitely coming back.

I NEVER leave reviews. The customer service here is 10 out of 10. Never have to wait for service. Pineapple Habanero wings are fire. Happend to be here on a Monday when football was on. Asked if they have Kings games here. Without Even having to ask if they could could put it on. They had the game on 2 tv's. I WILL definitely be coming back here. This place feels like home.

I recently visited Pop's Wing in Downey, which is close to my house. I love sports bars and good food, so I decided to give this new spot a try -- and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised! We ordered the Sweet Thai Wings with curly fries, and they were absolutely delicious. The vibe of the place was really nice and chill, and I had a great time overall. The customer service was also excellent -- our server, Libny, was super attentive and made sure our beers were always full. After the meal, she recommended the Banana Nutella Empanadas. Normally, I'm not a big fan of desserts, but wow -- those empanadas were amazing. My friends and I loved them! I'll definitely be coming back again.

The service here was very good. They were polite and quick! The interior is pretty cool - sports memorabilia all on the walls. That being said, the music goes from being good and loud then like 5-10 mins of silence when the song ends. I'd definitely suggest investing in some that continuously plays - just to keep the ambiance the same throughout. The food - I was excited to check this place out as we had seen it on instagram - a reviewer saying "are these the best wings in Downey?" Sooo... the wings are pretty small and ours were very dry and overcooked. They even had burn marks on them. The seasoning and sauces were good. The curly fries were cooked pretty well done as well. They kinda taste like Jack in the box curly fries, which I didn't mind. I'm not sure if I'd come back any time soon. Will probably return in a few months as they're a new restaurant and still probably working on getting things right.

Hot Wings in Glendale is my favorite spot for wings. With that said, Pop's Wings in Downey opened recently and I had been looking forward to their opening. However, after trying the wings and the zucchini, they were not what I was expecting. First off, the wings: They tasted similar to frozen wings purchased from a supermarket. I am not certain if they make their own batter and seasoning, but they did not taste good. Secondly, the fried zucchini: They cost $9 dollars for tiny zucchini that don't taste like zucchini. They also look and taste like they came out of a frozen bag. I sliced the zucchini anticipating to see an actual vegetable. Wrong! Not sure what that was. They need to work on their recipe. The reason for the 2 stars was for being greeted nicely and the location being clean.

Pretty solid place to watch games and get some good food. Went on a Saturday night during the Niners vs Seahawks game and it wasn't too packed. They had several TVs all around so you would be able to watch the game no matter where you were. The wings were good, but not the best. They have a variety of flavors, but they are just lacking some seasoning and heat. The restaurant has a chill vibe to it, so I will be back.

Great time at Pop Wings and it was hands-down one of the coolest casual dining experiences ...I sat at the bar area, and the service was truly top-notch--friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the moment I walked in. The restaurant itself is great-looking, clean, modern, and full of good energy. They have high-quality TVs everywhere, perfectly set up for any sport you can think of, making it an awesome spot whether you're there for a big game or just hanging out. And not to mention spacious for bigger crowds.. The owner, is one hell of a person--genuine, hardworking, and clearly passionate about giving customers a great experience. You can really feel that pride in the way the place is run. This is a perfect spot for family and friends, but also an ideal place to stop in for a quick beer like I did. Whether you're staying for a full meal or just grabbing a drink, Pop Wings makes you feel right at home. Highly recommend checking this place out--you won't be disappointed.

When we walked in it was pretty empty, which was good. We were a pretty big party. The menus are very simple!!! We ordered a bunch of food, wings burgers, nachos and onion rings. Everything we had was very good. The prices were a bit high, but also what isn't expensive nowadays? The waitresses were very nice and super friendly. Definitely will be back.

40 minutes to get 18 piece wings honestly not that busy . The zucchini didn't taste good either . Server was more focused on bigger groups maybe they didn't have a full staff today but I was not pleased they should hire more servers :)

Came into pops wings because I saw this place while being in the plaza. Libney helped us and she was so kind. There was also the owner and he went to all the tables and chatted with us a good amount while letting you enjoy your food. The ambiance is clean. My friend actually said she prefers pops wings over wings stop or Buffalo Wild Wings. Definitely come to this place is very yummy! We ordered the wing tower is was 3 of us and it was more than enough.

I was craving wings really bad so I took the 5 minute drive to try Pop's Wings for the first time since it's so close to me. Suzy was really welcoming when I came in and was my waitress during my meal and she was awesome, friendly, and super attentive and so were the other staff that came by. I got the 12 ct of bbq bone in wings and I was so hungry that when my wings came out, shortly after ordering, I was INHALING them along with my order of zucchini fries. I also ordered the banana Nutella empanadas and those were so yummy! I meant to ask if they could play the LA Kings game, but honestly I was so focused on my wings, I didn't get a chance to ask. I can't wait to stop by again! Thank you so much Suzy and team! :)

Food is great, beer is cold what else can I say? Lots of TVs for sports! So it's good to come sit at the bar solo or with family it's all good

Got to watch the Dodgers win the World Series here and had a great time while eating some delicious wings and empanadas. Definitely a chill spot with TVs everywhere so you don't have to worry too much on seat location. Service was on point with our waitress always making sure we were good before our beers got too low. Highly recommend giving Pop's Wings a try!

Omgggggggg !!!! My husband and I have finally found a new wing spot; when I say fresh , flavor, fast service omg the wings were perfect size cooked well done and the smash burger was a 10 soo much flavor. We will be regular soon Pop Wings

Amazing go to spot. Food is amazing place for someone who knows will enjoy. Glad to have them near by.

It was my first time here, but it won't be my last. Great atmosphere, very family-friendly. The food was good we had the sliders, a little dry but flavorful. We also had the boneless Buffalo Wings, bone-in Lemon Pepper, Spicy Thai, Spicy Buffalo, little salty,and Pineapple Habenero. All were very good. We will be back

Went to catch a Dodgers game, friendly staff, good food, it's a great place to hang out and watch any game. Can't emphasize enough how good the staff was, they staffed the place with excellent people. Looking forward to come back soon

Got the wings, fries, and the empanadas. All were delicious. The michelada was good too! A lot of TVs to watch the games. Alex was a good server. Check em out!

Newly open, 2nd day and my family and I checked it out. First of all this is the place you want to be at to watch a game. Huge and new TV's all over the place. Good size restaurant. The waitress was very nice and you can tell she was new but had a great attitude about it. We ordered two type of wings, onion rings and a hamburger: The food was excellent! Taste was great. I enjoy supporting local family owned businesses. I plan on coming here again.

First of all they messed up on order. The second place the wings are so mini and not worth it at all. The wings are dryer than a summer day in Vegas...

Came for the soft opening and didn't disappoint! Cold beer and good food! Can't wait to come back! Service was awesome, Libny was great!

Went to Pop's Wings for their grand opening and was pleasantly surprised! Great wings, great sliders, and the Philly cheesesteak was fire too! Reasonably priced and delicious food. Clean dining room and TV's all over make it so there is not a bad seat in the house! Can't wait to come back!

Wings are great here! Nutella empanadas were too good! Definitely recommend. Our server Libney was awesome! Very attentive and friendly. I would definitely be coming back here again :)

Paris is amazing she is so nice the wings are so good I recommend the lemon pepper ones the empanadas are amazing the ranch is so creamy onions rings is so yummy and crunchy can't wait to go back again this review is from my daughter lilah

I hope this place doesn't blow up popular. Samantha Salma Hayek look alike great service. My boy liked the mozzarella sticks. Zucchini was super good. Good beer selection. Buffalo wings good. Wife loved lemon pepper. Bbq solid. Same owner as pops cafe down the street

Downey local here. Family and I stopped by our new local family-sports friendly wings and drinks spot. Currently, soft opening menu with lots of choices for adult drinks and chicken wings. Wall to wall big screens with plenty of seating (but not huge) with large L bar at the front. Staff is experienced and makes you feel welcomed and appreciated. Looking forward to becoming a regular. Antonio behind the bar was cool and kept food /drinks coming while checking on others frequently.

First time here. Fantastic atmosphere Service was beyond great. Didn't catch the owners name but he was so friendly and charismatic Server Paris was super friendly as well! Food: Burger was off the charts best I've had in a long time. Cheesy goodness. Lemon pepper & garlic parm wings were delish! Will most definitely return very soon. Great place to view a game too. Best of luck to them. Go and support them. You won't regret it.

We were stopping into Amapola to pick up our masa for tamales and saw this sports bar that just open nice place and close to hm we went inside had a beer or two met with Owners nice and friend lovely people all around we for sure will be going back

Went today to watch the Dodgers game and I definitely want to go back. I like the sport bar vibe , staff is friendly and owners as well. I wasn't really hungry but still tried their sweet potato fríes and some hot wing super good and fresh, I am picky with wings and these were just right. I'll be coming back tomorrow for the final game.

I thought i had taken pictures but i did not. But the wings seem like they are from Walmart or smart n final. Definitely not worth the hype. To top it off the wings were extremely over cooked so much the bone was brittle.

Great service from Libny with great food! Thoroughly enjoyed this place, will be back!
