PopUp Bagels

HELLA Hot and Tasty bagels! These have to be top of my list for absolutely delicious bagels! They were still hot when we got them. Crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. I had a salt bagel with the daily special caramelized onion cream cheese. It was a party in my mouth! The guy running the shop was so incredibly nice! Since it was our first visit he loaded us up with super cool swag including a treat for my pup! He was friendly and clearly loved his job and made an already wonderful experience even better! 10/10 highly recommend!!!! I will 100% be back the next time I’m in town!

My wife was born in NYC and knows a good bagel. Her vote is this is levels above any bagel in NYC and no comparison to other bagel shops in fairfield county. I like mine toasted and the kids like them soft. We’ve tried every bagel in town and. nothing comes close. Plus the vibe in the store and the staff are just awesome. Love seeing this local business turn into a national sensation. Pickle Cream cheese is the greatest invention ever! Scallion is a close second. Keep up the great work! The hype is real :)

COMMUNICATION BREAKDOWN - The Bagels are good but there is no way to directly call any pickup location if necessary and must email a central location who the relays the info to the pickup locals - except it doesn’t work. A snow storm delayed my ability to pick up my order. I could not call the pickup location, had to email the central “message email” who NEVER received any response from the pickup place causing me to cancel my order, get my card company to cancel the purchase and get my Bagels and the great local Ridgefield Bagels! Buyer Beware!

Pop-Up Bagels is hands down our favorite bagel and weekly go-to. My kids ask for these daily! The staff is fast, friendly, and genuinely kind. Best bagels ever!

Picked up an amazing Dozen, these fresh delicious bagels peel so easy and are hand made to perfection. My favorites were the Everything and salted bagels. The special for the week Sweet Basil and the Salted Butter were both great spreads!

I love Stephanie! They are all so amazing. She kept open for us so we could get some bagels. Great place, vibe and people.

How can you not root for PopUp Bagels… follow them on LinkedIn, Insta and they are literally popping up just about everywhere and the rest of the country gets to share in on what was a CT start up. Adam is great, I actually messed up big time last winter. It was very late at night and I remembered that my son requested PopUp Bagels for the ride up to go snowboarding the next morning. It was a great idea, perfect eats for the car ride but I was on my phone right before going to bed, placing the order and completely fell asleep before I hit the submit button. When I got up at 6am the next morning. I realized the order never went through. I emailed the general contact mailbox on the PopUp Bagel website and Adam told me to call him. It was literally 6:15am. He said no worries, sleep happens, asked me when we were heading up to the mountain and when wanted to pick up my order and yeah, I think that deserves 10 stars for service! And as far as the bagels and creative schemers go, absolutely unmatched!! Hey Adam, bring back the pink peppercorn cream cheese, I will buy it all! It’s so good!

hands down best bagel I’ve had in CT. Warm, soft, great flavor, great crust. Other reviews compare to bagel shops in NYC but if your go-to bagel spot is another local shop, then you will be super impressed by these bagels. I hate to diss local shops, but I have to admit popup bagels really blow them away. The bagels are bigger, fresher, softer, and honestly tastier. I do have to say it sucks how expensive they are, but man it’s hard to go back to another bagel around here after having these

Bagels very small for the price - disappointed. Not worth the hype. Taste not worth the price - make a good sized bagel.

I came here buy a bagel and they make you buy half or dozen bagels. By the time you go there 8a.m they didnt have much of a selection and this company is very expensive 21.00 for half is rip off and the bagels are a smaller size. I was my 1st time and my last. To go to the location in westport is hard to get out. I dont recommend to my friend and customers.

Ordered 6 bagels and 1 Schmear-- 3 everything, 2 cinnamon and 1 salt with scallion schmear for $21 and change. The bagels were fresh out of the oven so soft, warm and delicious. Really appreciated the ratio of the everything bagel, not too much garlic/onion. The cinnamon and salt bagel were like a warm hug during these brutally cold days. I wish the bagels were a little bigger or proportioned better because we had a bagel with a significant hole when cut open.

The best bagel I've had in CT - and maybe overall. You can preorder or do a walk in - it's a drive through location which makes it quick and easy! The bagels come out fresh and hot - best to eat it immediately by ripping it and dipping into the cream cheese!!! It was soooo good - loved the everything bagel. The girl serving me was so nice! I will definitely be coming back - these are going viral on tiktok in NYC and I was so happy to see they had locations in CT!!

We came here with hopes of buying a bagel sandwich for breakfast unfortunately we found a drive-through store. No singles sold. You must buy 6 or 12 bagels only. They also offerBox o'Joe to go, no cups here. The staff must've heard our requests before as they were very polite when they told us that they didn't offer meals and only the bagels. It seemed to be a popular place because the very small parking lot has a two lane pick up service. When we arrived, the line was packed and we were stuck in line until the car in front of us got their bagels. Be careful turning to leave, as the corner is a little tight.

I heard about Popup Bagels from the viral tiktok/Instagram videos and had to try them. There are a few locations in Connecticut and New York - we decided to visit the OG Westport location. The Westport shop was a bit hard to find since it's located behind a building, obscuring it from the main road. When we arrived, we didn't realize they were pre-order only (by the dozen), but the staff were so kind and helpful. They were able to find a dozen for us along with some extra bagels for the road! It's clear that they're knowledgeable and passionate about their craft. Since it's a pick up only situation, there's nowhere to sit but we just had to try them fresh on the hood of our car! The bagels 100% live up to the hype!! The outside of the bagel is crispy and the inside is soft and the perfect density. The homemade cream cheese takes it to another level - it's super fluffy and pairs perfectly with the bagels. There are seasonal flavors as well - we got the red pepper and scallion. They were both delicious! Definitely going to make the drive to stock up on these bagels (they reheat and toast excellently) - they're the best bagels around!

As good as bagels get! This is an order-ahead with a subscription and pickup-later business, not a restaurant. In fact, they will only sell to walk-ins if they have extra or unclaimed bagels. But it's always worth trying. I got lucky today and walked out with a half dozen everything bagels, hot out of the oven. A small container of cream cheese is included with every order. Netting it out, it's a bit of a quirky business model, but these are arguably the best bagels you'll ever eat!

This bagel place is amazing! We preordered a dozen bagels along with their limited edition strawberry basil cream cheese as well as their scallion cream cheese. The bagels were so tasty warm. They were a little crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We pulled up to their store front and the staff was so nice and brought our bagels out right away. There is no store (so to speak) to sit in and eat, but I liked the efficiency of the drive through store front.

Honestly the very best service of any food service I have ever been a patron of. The bagels are amazing. The Smoked Salmon they carry is top quality. The Cream Cheese is tasty and creative and the ordering could not be easier. Will always be a loyal customer.

The best bagel I've ever had the everything bagel was outstanding and had seasonings on both sides of the bagel. The bagel came out of the oven warm and it was absolutely delicious. It's a little pricey, but it is worth it if you go every once in a while. Scallion cream cheese hit it out of the park, I'm talking about the location off of Post Road in Fairfield though lol

Hair in cream cheese and manager was rude. Place looks dirty inside too... Pull in to get bagels. So stupid.

As a NYC transplant these are the best bagels around. You have to order ahead because as the name suggests they are a pop-up and don't have a real store front at the Westport location.

Ok, so, New Yorker here, transplanted to Miami then back to the Northeast in Connecticut, so, I think I am an expert. These bagels were amazing. Period. It's a bit crazy that you have to order ahead, but, there's a civility to not having to wait in line or get shoved around to get bagels. It's a little hard to find bc it's off the road behind a store, but, you'll find it once then just keep going back. You drive up, tell them your name and voila! You drive away. No sit down and probably very little walk up potential. So, no ambiance. But, damn, bagels, soft, hot, dense, but not too much so. Perfection! Had the cinnamon butter and the scallion schmears..awesome! Thanks for saving us having moved back to the northeast, as we had two great bagels shops in Miami, believe it or not!

$42 for 12 bagels. There app and website are awful. Bagels aren average and extremely overpriced. Total hipster joint that pretends that they are a real bagel spot. Most overpriced bagel spot in all of Fairfield county. Avoid. Also it's not a real business, it's a scam as you can't even walk in and purchase food. It's overpriced and quality was awful

OMG these are the best bagels I have had in years. Great right out of the bag. Dipped everything bagels directly in the yummy scallion cream cheese. They had a delish chimichurri butter that I savored for days on the bagels and everything else! Everything and Poppy bagels were generously covered. Crunchy outside with softer inside. Can't wait to go back!

I happened upon this small shop driving in downtown Fairfield. SPECTACULAR bagels.. the chew is EVERYTHING..It's about time there was a great bagel place in Fairfield.. With the three I bought I was given a tub of delicious cream cheese for FREE. This place is the real deal..
