I stumbled upon Por Pochaya completely by chance — had no idea it was a Michelin-listed spot! I managed to get a table right away, probably because it was close to closing time. The restaurant is only open for 4 hours a day, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Some dishes were already sold out, but the staff were super friendly and gave great recommendations.
The place has a cozy. Prices were reasonable and portions were just right.
I have to say — the garlic fried pork liver was the best I’ve ever had. So tender and flavorful, it just melted in the mouth. The spicy pork cartilage tom yum, crab omelet, and fried king mackerel were all amazing too.
There’s paid parking available at the hotel next door, which makes things really convenient.
Definitely a hidden gem worth visiting again!
