"The Best Sandwich in Toronto A testament to any restaurant, no matter how big or small, is the ability to transform your senses. And when you’re eating their food to not make any sense. This is how I always feel after I eat at Porchetta. I’m literally sitting there—there’s three stools and in fall, for some reason, there’s usually a seat available and I stay to people watch—and I can’t speak. It kind of sounds like this: “ArrrghghghgMmmmmmNoommmmmm.” Like, OMG, it’s SO GOOD. I’ve brought a few visitors from out of town and have made them converts. The crackling pig parts crunching in your mouth or the option of that sweet, sweet truffle oil on your prosciutto wrapped porchetta? It’s over. It’s so over. And their daily soup is not to miss. You will be very lucky if you eat their mushroom truffle soup. These guys know how much I love it. Plus, they're tech-savvy! Follow them on Twitter where they post their specials. Just a note: run, don't walk! These guys are going to be featured on Anthony Bourdain's "No Reservations."

"Porchetta & Co, Dundas West by Sovereign State. Many places in Toronto have started to offer porchetta sandwiches, but no one comes to close to Porchetta Co.’s offerings. They use a 3 step process that starts with marinating pork shoulders, which they then wrap in sliced prosciutto. Finally, the pork is rolled in lightly cured pork belly, making this porchetta one-a-kind. The Porchetta Co. house special is the real deal but you can also try one of their many daily specials or pick up a savoury side."

Been coming to this place for years. Small counter shop with a few seats. Their menu has expanded to include fried chicken. But their main specialty is Porchetta! They make it perfectly with the right balance of meat, fat and crackling. Execution is good with the right balance of mustard, truffle sauce, hot sauce and cheese. I always order the house special with extra meat. It is a little pricey for a sandwich but this is a specialty shop and is really the only legit porchetta game in town. Never been disappointed here.

I been waiting to come to this place after hearing about it over a year. I got those special with pork and mustard and truffle, these were what I clearly remember. While the other sandwich was the chicken. Both these sandwiches was very tasty and the bun they used was really good and what makes it such a great sandwich to munch down on. Every bite you get a good portion of everything in the sandwich. The meat was very tender and cooked to perfection. They don't have a machine that accepts tap payment but they do take credit card. It's a great place for a quick bite or take out. Only about 5 seats in the restaurant.

Came here from looking at the fantastic reviews.. was disappointed. I wasn’t too sure what to order when I first came in and the guy at cash was not helpful at all. When he was taking our orders he saw how indecisive we were being and was just plain rude to us. He rushed us and straight up told us we weren’t being clear, when there was literally no one behind us. I definitely thought he could have been a lot more helpful. I ended up ordering the rice ball dish which they told me they tried making 5 times and it broke apart each time. So they let me change my order at no cost, but the food was mediocre. Not too flavourful, I think the beans were the best part.

There fried chicken and pork sandwich are amazing. The mustard dressing in the pork sandwich is what really brings it to another level. Reasonably priced for the area. Lines aren't too bad when I went after work around 5pm. You will enjoy it.

The staff are quite nice and helpful when ordering and pretty fast service. The sandwiches however were just ok. The "og" ranch sauce was over powering and the special which was a mock big mac had too much cheese not enough lettuce.

Me and my buddy went here and both got the special, fried chicken with barbecue sauce on a bed of macaroni and cheese and bacon. It was fantastic, a truly tasty experience. Will definitely be coming back!

The wait for our food was less than 10 minutes! The O.G chicken sandwich was incredible! I would definitely go back for more.
