Porcino's Southern Kitchen

My bf and I went here for dinner on a Friday night. The inside was decorated very cute and there is a lot of seating available. The food is good for the price and the portions. For some reason the ambience felt a little off for me. It was a little loud and the area was a little too well lit for the dinner time. Overall a good restaurant, a nice place for a larger group or meeting up with friends.

The most difficult part about their menu is trying to decide between one amazing sounding dish or another. We finally narrowed our options down to two different dishes. We picked the chicken biscuits and gravy and the seafood bowl. Both were so good that I don't know how I'll decide whether to stick with what we know we loved or try something new next time. If I had one complaint it would be that it took a while for a server to get us going initially. To be fair we were there to see a band and were surrounded by tables of confusingly grouped people so I'm not sure they knew we were planning to eat. Once I asked to be moved to a table a little further out from the band our service improved greatly.

I have been to Porcino’s twice now and both times my experience was great. The atmosphere is casual and the wait staff is friendly and engaging. On my last visit I had the Porcino Poutin and it was fabulous . The fries cooked in duck fat was decadent and the rich gravy from the short rib topping was delicious. All topped off with a fried egg and cheese curds made a delightful experience. They did have live music the night I was there last and we thoroughly enjoyed that. Don’t miss an evening here next time you have the chance.

We went for a mixer during happy hour. We sat ourselves because that's what we were told to do, and 2 wait staff walked past us before we pretty much yelled across the restaurant to get a waiter to ask for menus. The menu left alot to be desired. So we got fries and a ceasar salad. Overall the feel of the restaurant was really nice and my fries came out nice and hot.

Casual, quality, and kid friendly restaurant! We went on a Saturday night for dinner and loved it. We had their Skirt Steak and PB Chicken which are very large portions, possibly enough to share. In addition we had their “A-maize-ing” Dip for an appetizer and it was good but it’s only enough to share for about 2-3 people. I also tried their tortilla soup and loved it! The food is great and the Atmosphere is casual but still very nice. The outdoor patio and bar would be a good area to sit when the weather is nice or just for late night drinks with friends. You can park either valet or parking garage that’s accessible at the front of the restaurant. We will be back! I want to try their fried chicken sandwich with duck fat fries that our neighbors were eating! We had 1 app, 2 entrees, 1 Soup, and 2 drink and it was about $65 meal (not including tip). We didn’t bring our kiddo but I asked about the kid meals- they are $6 but the portions are so big you could just share with the kiddos!

This is a quick spot for lunch or to grab drinks after work since its conveniently located in our office building. I come here for happy hour with my co-workers. They have $2 tacos and discounts on drinks. I've tried several entrees here, but none seem to really have that wow factor. The servers are friendly, but the food sometimes takes awhile to come out.

Came here around 3:00pm on a Saturday and the place was EMPTY. I ordered the Hot Chicken Sandwich with the Duck Fat Fries. The food was pretty good, loved the fries with the added garlic! The bartender was great, just A little sad with us being the only people there.

Nicely remodeled (formerly Chaucer’s). The Mighty Hog Burger and sweet potato fries were amazing. The side salad could use some work. It was just lettuce and dressing.
