UPDATE!: I posted a review on Google Maps that was nearly identical to the one below, 1 star but totally accurate and fair, and Porsche had it removed within 24 hours. Didn't even know you could do that. Check their page, there are no recent negative reviews because they must pay to get them removed. Sounds like a huge class action lawsuit to me.
This place is a lot of fun but be VERY careful with the driving experiences, we were charged $2,500!! extra for 'damage' to the vehicle yet as you can see in the picture, the car is totally fine.
Paid $650 x 3 for a 911 driving experience and got the extra $50 damage waiver but they still charged us extra for damage. I challenged on my credit card but thought the whole process was pretty shady if you ask me.
Took my dad and brother here for my dad's birthday and we each had our own car and instructor who starts in the car with you. When it came time to do the laps on the course, my instructor Alessio told me they were out of cars for him to drive so I wasn't able to follow him (seems like a big issue if they don't have enough cars for instructors). Instead, we rode together and he coached me. First major issue since it is much easier to follow another professional driver.
Not once did they mention anything about potential damage/liability/things to watch out for/etc. If anything, they really encourage you to have fun, drive fast, take the car to the limit, etc. Which is awesome until, you have an issue...
So I came around a turn at the end of the circuit and just slid off the track 2-3 feet into the loose gravel and apparently, this is what caused 'thousands of dollars in damage'. Even though, there was no visible or noticeable damage and they never provided any before photos of the car. Crazy. This was not a total crash or anything serious, I literally just slid off a few feet into the gravel and boom, huge issue.
We ended up switching cars after this and it was much easier to follow the instructor on his lines and go fast/etc. Obviously, I wasn't driving crazy since they gave me another car. The whole time, my instructor made it seem like it wasn't a big deal, and my brother's instructor also said that they don't usually charge for single wheel rim damage or anything cosmetic.. yet apparently today they did.
What's worse is that after the 'accident', they usher you into a room by yourself and make you fill out all this paperwork without giving any guidance or explanation. Make it seem like you are in huge trouble. Kind of ruined the whole day if you ask me..
If you're gonna do this, just make sure you get the damage waiver and are very careful with your driving, you do not want to go off track by even a foot or they'll slam you with thousands of dollars.
