Disappointing experience at Port Petite — beautiful view, but not much else.
My partner and I were really looking forward to dining at Port Petite, but unfortunately, our experience fell far short of expectations — especially for a place that markets itself as high cuisine.
From the moment we arrived, we felt out of place — we both have tattoos and a more alternative look, and the stares we received from staff and other guests made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable — not exactly the experience you hope for in 2025.
The hostess who received us seemed rushed and uninterested. Despite having a reservation, we were met with a curt attitude and were vaguely waved toward a section of empty tables without any clear direction. It felt like we were more of an inconvenience than valued guests.
As for the food: while the presentation was acceptable, the flavor was lacking — underwhelming and forgettable, which is surprising given the restaurant’s reputation. We were served by several different waiters over the course of the evening — some polite, others barely engaging.
The one undeniable highlight is the view, which is genuinely beautiful. But when everything else — service, atmosphere, and food — falls so flat, it’s hard to justify the experience or the price.
Sadly, we won’t be returning. I’d encourage others who care about hospitality and genuine flavor to look elsewhere.
