"Fans of Neapolitan-style pizza should pay a visit to Porta Via, the only restaurant in Tennessee recognized by a Naples-based organization dedicated to tradition and authenticity. They start with Italian-imported ingredients to make their pies, which can then be topped with an impressive list of ingredients. Pastas and Italian desserts round out the menu." - Kellie Walton

"There is no shortage of great onion soup in Nashville. All the cafés do French onions well, but Porta Via takes a different approach, and that’s why it’s worth trying. Its Tuscan creamy onion soup has all the satisfying things you want from French onion — beefy broth, caramelized onions — but instead of broiling cheese on top for richness, they mix in cream, which means every bite is equally roast-y, salty, and succulent." - Ashley Brantley, Jackie Gutierrez-Jones

"The Belle Meade restaurant is still the only pizzeria in the state of Tennessee certified by Naples’s Associazione Vera Pizza Napoletana (VPN), which means the restaurant adheres to strict rules about ingredients and traditional preparations to produce “real Neapolitan pizza,” resulting in tender, wood-fired, quick-cooked classics from basil-spotted margherita to spicy diavola. Of note: Porta Via serves half-price wine on Mondays and Wednesdays and brunch on weekends, including live piano on Sundays." - Eater Staff, Delia Jo Ramsey

Dont be put off by the looks of the building, awesome food and great service is waiting for you inside! Micheal took care of us and he is well worth asking for his section. We were seated by the kitchen and honestly, you could call this table and the one next to it a chef's table. It was great watching pizzas being made and everything expedited. Great way to see what you would want to order. The staff busted their behinds and were hustling. Hard to find that these days. The food was so awesome. Very flavorful, I love when a restaurant seasons everything the way it should be! No complaints here. We will be back again. My wife said she wanted to find a real Italian restaurant.....this was a guess if it would be good. It was way better than good!

Google
We ordered the eggplant parm and received a 3x3 inch portion of mush, with nothing else, as in no side of pasta, no side of anything, for $20.00 each, after waiting forever for service, and they were not busy. I now know why they weren't busy!

My last visit was roughly a month ago. This place used to be a gem. My wife and I loved it and it was our go-to for date night. Since the change in ownership, management, or whatever it is that's actually happening, it has become a massive disappointment. You used to get bread and olive oil as an appetizer, but not anymore. Portions used to be fair, but not anymore. The menu has changed and some dishes are no longer being served. Some are a completely different recipe. The meatballs are now AWFUL. Prices are higher. It's truly a shame to see how quickly the quality has declined. Service was fine, but we could tell that the enthusiasm was gone. It seems that they are permanently closed now or will be soon, so maybe this review is pointless. I honestly don't care enough to check if they're still open. Skip it, regardless.

Google
I highly recommend this restaurant. The atmosphere was comfy yet slightly sophisticated. The dim lighting and piano music made for a wonderful ambiance. Our server, Ethan, was very professional and knowledgeable. We received our food in great timing, and the quality was superb. I enjoyed the four cheese gnocchi with walnuts, very creative! I implore that you save room for dessert. The dark chocolate gelato was phenomenal. I was shocked by how reasonable the pricing was for our meal, considering the quality and how “high end” the restaurant felt. I hope you give this place a try and enjoy it as much as I did!

A family member and I went last night after they had a great experience a handful of weeks ago. Unfortunately, last night was completely different. They got the same thing they had previously ordered and this time the temperature was cold, the chicken rubbery, and the dish’s flavor was generally poor. I got chicken piccata and was sorely disappointed. It was truly colorless, like it had been boiled. The mashed potatoes were so glue-y and had crispy parts that looked like they formed from sitting in a heating tray for a long time. The server noticed when I had barely touched them and brought out more mashed potatoes when i showed him the weird crust, but they were still so glue like and bad. Neither my sibling nor I ate more than a fifth of our food. For the mashed potatoes we were given $2 off the $22 entree after a staff member said they’d “take care of it”. Our server was very kind and understanding, he could tell things were bad, but it seemed like he had his hands tied about what he could do. Ultimately I ended up spending $40 for the worst meal I’ve had in recent memory.

Google
This is me and my wife’s new spot. Perfect for a low key date night. Easy to get a table and the food and service are excellent. The muscles are great and the pizza is best in town. Great wine list. Great espresso and desserts.

Google
Came here last night for dinner with my husband. They were very busy and understaffed so food took a lot longer and service could have been a lot better but that won’t deter us from coming back. I had the shrimp Alfredo which was good but for $9 to add shrimp, I expected the shrimp to be larger in size. That was disappointing but besides that the dish was good for a basic Alfredo. Loved their noodles. My husband had the lobster ravioli and I will say his dish was a lot better than mine. We also had the calamari for an appetizer and it was delicious. Not overly breaded and fried well.

The food and atmosphere are always top notch. The staff are beyond friendly and won't mind chatting with you if it isn't super busy! We're always taken care of when we come in. It's an awesome place!

Yelp
This was Porta Via now it's called Deluca What a zero Don't eat here It's not real Italian And the people are ultra rude

Mary M.

Yelp
They changed management as well as the chef, and tried to claim they still serve fresh pasta. This is absolutely not true. It might have been fresh at one time but that was likely weeks ago, the manager was so rude and argued with us. I will never be back. While I understand taking off different menu items based on demand there is no way the fettuccine Alfredo was a low performing item. Also, if you want bread, that will cost you $20.

Deb N.

Yelp
I wanted good pizza! After reading reviews, I took my daughter and we both ordered pizza! I have to discuss the pizza first because it was absolutely like eating a pizza in Italia! Crust was crispy and soft, toppings were generous and flavor is indicative of fresh ingredients. Micky was our server and he was exceptional. Very attentive to our needs, polite and invisible in an excellent way. I am sure all his tables were well served! The ambiance is not important really because the food and service is so darn amazing. It's a cute place with average noise level located in a strip mall. My advice is to try this spot if you haven't. Especially is you're in the mood for authentic napoleon pizza in nashville. You will be a repeat patron for sure.

Yelp
I found this place on google while I was in the area. On a Friday at 1 p.m. the place is pretty low key. A group of people were enjoying themselves along with a few couples having lunch. During this time of day I am able to read my book and enjoy myself alone. Pizza is good!! Calabria added pepperoni

Christopher D.

Yelp
I recently just found this restaurant only a few weeks ago and have had the opportunity to go twice already once for supper, once for a pizza to-go. To start off with my meal service I asked if the kitchen could make Cacio e Pepe, and when they said they could the chef delivered it personally from one Italian to another, the food was absolutely incredible I cannot describe how fantastic the food and service was. And the price couldn't be beat. The atmosphere in this restaurant was like no other. It doesn't look like much on the outside. But never judge a book by its cover! On to the pizza, when I say it's the best. This is the best pizza I've ever had since I was in Naples. And it makes sense because "Porta Via Ristorante e Bar is the ONLY restaurant in the state of Tennessee to be recognized by L'Associazone Verace Pizza Napoletana (VPN), a Naples, Italy based organization that gives special designation to pizzerias that respect and uphold the tradition and the art of Neapolitan pizza making." That is right from their website! And the words speak true. This was absolutely incredible hot out of the oven. Truly remarkable! I can go on and on about this restaurant but you'll have to go there and try it for yourself... Until next time, Arrivederci!

Yelp
Used to love this place but since the new management change the staff is absolutely rude and impolite. The pasta is no longer fresh, the food quality has dropped immensely.I witnessed the staff tell a costumer (very rudely) that they needed to remove their hat in order to be sat at a table, the costumer was dressed very nicely and the hat was a nice dress hat. Let me point out that the restaurant was almost empty only two tables with costumers and a a few at the bar. The costumer ended up leaving with his family. When it was my turn to be sat down they sat us at a table next to the bathroom so I asked if we could be moved (since the restaurant was mostly empty) they simply said NO with an attitude while I understand that they might have been annoyed with the situation before me (which they created themselves) they had no right to be rude to me and my family, and they did so we just left and went to Penne Pazza and that was the best choice we made, amazing food, great service unlike this new and rebranded Porta Via Ristorante now called DeLuca.

Kristin J.

Yelp
Ordered the chicken piccata and it was outstanding. Good sized portion. The sauce was delicious! Creamy and lots of lemon flavor. The mashed potatoes and green beans accompanying it had excellent flavor as well. Unfortunately, my waiter could have been more attentive. Overall I rate an 8/10 and I will be back!

Holly M.

Yelp
The lasagna I received was burnt on the bottom. For 18.00 you would think there would be bread or a salad. The server we had was indifferent if we were there or not. No smile, how are you, welcome just what can I get you to drink what do you want to eat. Just not so nice. The restaurant itself was clean but had many flickering lights that were very distracting. Got sat right next to the kitchen so it was loud. Will not be going back there.

Monica S.

Yelp
Honestly if I could just live in carbs I would come here every day. The pizza is so delicious, it's the crust and the ingredients are fresh. At first I thought this would be a cheesy strip mall diner...but it's actually pretty nice! There's a bar, and a gelato stand, and the menu is authentic Italian. The ceasar salads have big slivers of Parmesan and house made croutons. You get bread with balsamic as you wait. So by the time you leave you have had enough carbs for the rest of the month. But it's worth it! The service is very quick and friendly, they don't linger, but they do check in. It's the perfect amount. I went for a late lunch but they had a vast selection of wine if you have the time. I didn't get to try any but some people come in just to sit at the bar.

Amanda D.

Yelp
My old yelp account somehow locked me out, so I get to leave one of my favorite spots in Nashville a SECOND 5-star review :) This place is all around a great place to eat. Super tasty food (the pizza is phenomenal), great prices on drinks (cocktails LESS than $10), and the staff is always super friendly. During the pandemic, they had a place called Rocket Subs and it was my weekly go to. The meatball sub ... drool!

Megan B.

Yelp
Took a $20 Uber after being told they had time and room for us (6 people). We're refused at the door starting only 2 servers. Could of told us on the phone. Don't waste your money cuz they was your time and money.

Scotty N.

Yelp
Amazing Italian in Nashville Tennessee!!! Love the pizzas and all of the pasta !! Excellent

Jen N.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem. It's a small and cozy Italian eatery with the best service. We went on a Friday night and it was fairly busy, we waited about 20 minutes for a table Right when we sat down, our server Michael brought over waters, focaccia, and olive oil. When the free bread is good, you just KNOW it's going to be a good meal. We got the charcuterie board to start, chicken parmigiana, and the lasagna. Huge portions and we had leftovers for the next day. Everything was SO GOOD Service was impeccable compared to how busy it was. When a table was finished, the guys would be cleaning the table before the patrons even stepped out the front door lol we love this place

Candy R.

Yelp
We went to the Darkhorse Theatre for my birthday to see a show and had dinner here after. It's a small, intimate restaurant, and it feels cozy and warm, in the way you'd want a family Italian restaurant to feel. Our server was attentive and checked on us often. Our appetizer, salad, and entree were all fresh and delicious. There were so many good things on the menu, we only wished we could have tried them all. Thank you for adding delight to my special day.

Lee M.

Yelp
We enjoy this neighborhood eatery. Service is great, food is good, it's comfortable and easy.

Christie B.

Yelp
Don't let the strip mall location scare you. Once you are inside the atmosphere changes drastically. I love their lasagna, bread and dipping oil. The service is good and so are the prices. They also have gelato!! The eggplant is also very good. For me the pesto pasta is too rich but my sister thought it was yummy.

Kimberly G.

Yelp
OMG. We - party of 2 - arrived and a rude host told us it would be a wait. I asked if the bar was full service and he said yes and we would get faster service. We sat at the bar, order drinks and food. The drinks came and after 90 minutes nothing- no food. When we could get the bartenders attention - we were told it was coming. He claimed that the mussels took a long time -really??? . We saw several table and folks at the bar get food and some point we realized that maybe the bartender forgot to enter our food. We asked for bread and received 2 pieces of dried bread no olive oil - spices - plates.. but sure. Finally we said enough. We asked for our bill to pay for the drinks we had and all of a sudden we were important. They assured us our food was coming. After another 10 minutes we paid and i found the manager. . He told me all his challenges. Had no regrets for not coming to see us. Sorry bad service and mystery food (we never got to try it) does not desire a return visit when there are so many other great places to eat in the area.

Mary Beth I.

Yelp
Over one-hour wait for a prepaid to-go order turnaround time on a Friday night. It's delicious, but wow... Staff up! People are hungry! also, they do not answer the phone. Useless phone number!

Meredith S.

Yelp
We use to love porta via, but it recently changed management and the food has gone way downhill. They took some of our favorite items off the menu, changed a few recipes and we are so disappointed. Hoping they get it back to what it use to be!

Rachel L.

Yelp
Solid little neighborhood Italian spot. Nashville doesn't have a ton of Italian options but when my folks were in town visiting last weekend we wanted to try a new spot, and this is very close to my apartment. Good location and huge parking lot. A lot cuter on the inside than what you'd expect from looking at it from the outside. Good service, although our waitress was rather awkward. Maybe she was new and learning, but generally didn't have people skills for conversation. Bruschetta = tops! A 5 star appetizer. The tomatoes were fresh, basil fragrant and the drizzle of the balsamic reduction was perfect. I would definitely recommend that. The Caesar salad was tasty with a tangy dressing I enjoyed. I ordered the lobster ravioli, which, don't get me wrong, was definitely good... but not sure I would order again. The menu claims it was a vodka sauce but there was no cream in it, very heavy tomato flavor, and tin-y... maybe a sauce from a can? I'm not sure, but there was something off with the sauce. The menu also boasts this dish has truffle oil which I was extremely excited for, but I think they forgot it. Otherwise it was not used properly as it was nonexistent on the palate. My dad ordered the eggplant parm which he enjoyed, but the side veggies were mushy. My mom very much enjoyed the red snapper dish, but again, mushy veggies and the pasta it came with was way too heavy and she did not enjoy. They have a little gelato bar in the front, so I may come back when simply looking for a scoop. Basic food that overall was enjoyable.

Kimberly H.

Yelp
I have been in the last 3 weeks. The Margherita pizza DOC my favorite. The crust is everything!!! Brandon is always welcoming and very customer friendly!!!!!

Kristin O.

Yelp
A great place for a last minute date night. We have passed this place so many times and finally decided one night to check it out. Very authentic pizza and pasta, a so tasty! We had a little bit of a wait, but once we sat down we were served really quickly. We will be back!

Ramsey D.

Yelp
We ordered takeout tonight, and were optimistic as Porta Via has been touting their re-do. My eggplant parmigiana was dreadful, burned on the underside and without the side promoted on the side (husband informed at pickup that side not included). His fettuccine with bolognese was truly awful. The fettuccine was not fettuccine (more like pappardelle) and the sauce was dreadful. I hate to trash a restaurant but don't want people to waste their money on poorly-prepared food

Raoul D.

Yelp
Zero stars avoid at all cost. Overpriced and pretentious place with mediocre food and worse service. Watch out for the cockroaches scurrying around.

Steve W.

Yelp
They've been here for 10 yrs and I always thought they just had pizza! What a fantastic shock! A full menu with everything you can imagine for a true Italian Restaurante. If you've never eaten here before, do yourself a favor.... Come in for dinner! You'll really enjoy it! Bon Appetito!!!

Jonathan D.

Yelp
Amazing ambiance, great service amazing food... except the PICKLED VEGETABLES!!!! Overall 9.97/10.00

D M.

Yelp
Horrible staff. Was asked to wait on a table for 15 min and total wait time was 45 min. Then proceeded to order a martini and they replied "that's too hard can you order something different" our bartender and male server was very passive aggressive when our tip was not to there expectation because our needs of water or asking to add chicken to Alfredo was too much

Steven R.

Yelp
This is a hidden gem! I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and the delicious food! The better Italian restaurants are on West End near the downtown area and it's a blessing to have this place close enough to Bellevue that you can avoid the congestion and parking issues of downtown Nashville. We tried the calamari, veal Marsala and pizza, and each dish was delicious! I highly recommend trying this place because it deserves more recognition. I've lived here in Bellevue for four years now after moving from the east coast and this definitely reminds me of the old neighborhood, mom-n-pop places in NYC.

Rach S.

Yelp
I love Porta Via! The service and food are great! I love the Porta Via sauce with angel hair. I have also had the crepes Florentine before. The last time I had salmon which came with vegetable of the day and pasta of the day. They have upgraded their air filtration system. They always provide fresh bread as well which is great with dipping oil. There is an open kitchen set up. They have a gelato refrigerator as you walk in. They are doing dine in or take out during this time.

Leigh C.

Yelp
We tried Porta Via last night for a date night. My husband is wary of the many hipster fine dining places in Nashville (#oldman), so I always try to find unique casual places for dates. Porta Via was underwhelming for us yesterday. We were told it would be a 25 minute wait and we could sit at the bar (there's no waiting area), so I ordered a cocktail I probably wouldn't have otherwise but then our table was ready immediately. The bartender was kind. I think the tonic in my hendricks and tonic was flat. It's my go to drink and it didn't taste great. It took about 15 min to place appetizer/salad orders and we never received olive oil for the bread (not great bread- it needed the oil). Salads were really good, and the small is really big! But we had finished them and had to wait a while to place food order. Pizza came out immediately but we had no plates or silverware. Server said he was getting them. More than five minutes later my husband just asked another server. Got tiny plates, one of which wasn't clean. Pizza was delicious but cold. We enjoyed the affogato and gelato we got for dessert. They were absolutely slammed with two servers taking care of the room. They were doing a great job taking care of the larger groups around us. I think our small table just got lost in the mix. I liked the food enough to give it another shot. Most of the reviews citing bad service are from many years ago, so I hope our experience was a fluke!

Tennessee H.

Yelp
True I have seen this place a dozen times before but it wasn't until last night that I decided to give it a try. Upon finding the parking space and which side to enter into the restaurant we were greeted by a hostess who sat us. The hostess that sat us was actually our waiter, he was cool I asked him his name he said Kyle. Had a craving for some ravioli Sol lobster ravioli it was that I ordered my friend ordered some type of salad (it's pictured). Our drinks arrived and sold at the bread the bread was the best part of the meal in my opinion. Definitely will not order lobster ravioli from here ever again!

Michelle M.

Yelp
The bolognese was awful. Bolognese is def not "their thing". Bread was cold and undercooked. What happened to Italian bread, warm and crispy on the outside. Not sure if I'll go back and try another dish.

Sean W.

Yelp
Wow. Absolutely blown away by how unassuming this restaurant looks from the outside, and coming in and eating food created by a chef who truly cares about perfecting his dishes, having drinks made a bartender who is skilled at his craft, and having a server who is attentive and kind and goes the extra mile. I highly, highly recommend this place for anybody looking for authentic Italian food created by a chef who knows what he is doing. The price of the food and drinks were very reasonable, and the dessert is just the icing on top (try the tiramisu, you won't regret it). I have to say this is one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Nashville, and you will not be disappointed by whatever you order here. The service, food, and drinks are all on point here.

Shannon T.

Yelp
This is one of my new favorite healthy lunch finds!!! I heard Porta Via had a great kale salad. I ordered a large kale salad with chicken to-go and had a wonderful experience. Not only was the service quick, but the salad is full of flavor, toppings, and has a great dressing. They are also generous with their grilled chicken. It gave me two lunch meals this week! When I opened the to-go packaging, they also gave me some of their fresh baked bread and olive oil. The bread was still warm when I got home. It was so so yummy. I will be back - likely even before the week is over - for another kale salad, adding grilled chicken. Beyond impressed to find a healthy menu item at a great price and with generous protein.

Lee Ann S.

Yelp
We were looking for a late lunch on a Saturday and chose Porta Via. I noticed it several times on my way to our Vet's office and thought it would be good to try. I was right! I ordered a glass of Pinot Noir and we were given fluffy bread and dipping oil. I ordered the crepes Florentine and my husband got the lasagna. Both were superb. The serving sizes were generous, but not overwhelming. We both took leftovers home. I am eager to return to try the lobster ravioli and the pizza.

Alana P.

Yelp
Rolf and Daughters or Pastaria cost similar per plate and blow this place away! We recommend these, but if you want to try this place go ahead. We left smelling like smoke and kitchen oil with disappointment from our order. $50 for this meal leaves me dissatisfied, disappointed, and regretful. MAYBE THE PIZZA IS GREAT and we ordered the wrong things. I will say the decoration look like the owner out effort in and the staff was nice. The server we had was very kind and did a great job. They answered all questions and offered help with our meal choice. They gave us gelato which was also a kind gesture. None of the food was good. Including the gelato. If it weren't for the service this would be 1 star. The bread ranks among the lowest of complimentary restaurant bread. Their olive oil wasn't tasty and they add garlic and herbs to it which didn't help. The bolognese pasta had a canned taste and quality. The pasta was under cooked. At $20 it was overpriced. We were very hungry and we didn't bother finishing half of our plates. The chicken Parm was not good either. The pasta was not cooked the best and the sauce lacked complexity and taste.

Christie B.

Yelp
I drive by this restaurant often and decided to try it out for lunch today. I had the lasagna and oh my goodness it was so delicious! The fresh bread was yummy! The service and atmosphere was good. Very quaint little place that I cannot wait to go back to and try another delicious dish.

Laura B.

Yelp
This place is a wonderful gem of a neighborhood restaurant! The service was amazing! What teamwork! The food is so delicious- just all the way around a great dining experience! We will be back anytime we visit my son in Nashville. I had a gluten free pizza- great crust! My son had a pizza he loved it! Great flavors! My husband had a pasta dish - loved it! They both had cannoli's - loved them! This place is really just great -just a welcoming homey experience! A highlight of our visit! It will now be a tradition!

Come Fork W.

Yelp
Ok. I neglected to take a pic. I didn't want to pull out my phone on a date lol. Anyway. I had the lobster ravioli. Hands down the best lobster ravioli I have ever had.. the only negative I can give is, the drinks were so watered down you could not taste the liquor at all. The wait staff was really good. Oh also decline the bread and olive oil. Worst olive oil I have ever tasted.

Susan S.

Yelp
Wonderful food! The new concept for lunch called The Rocket Subs are amazing. The French bread is crunchy yet with the fillings makes it absolutely delicious.

Laurel M.

Yelp
I love their Porta Via pie. Truly a fave. The management decided to discontinue using a food delivery service though. That's disappointing. I'll miss them.

Amanda D.

Yelp
My favorite date night pizza spot in town They have really reasonably priced food & drinks. Great staff and super tasty food. The wood fired pizza is some of the best we've had in Nashville. I love bringing my friends and family here!

David K.

Yelp
Great service and my Eggplant Parmesan was excellent. My wife had the calzone and liked it very much.

Jeffrey B.

Yelp
I stopped in for lunch while running errands. I'd never been here, but I enjoyed it. The interior is nicely decorated for a strip mall restaurant and is very clean. I was quickly greeted and seated. I was brought a glass of water in addition to my traditional Diet Coke, and I appreciated the water. (I really should drink more of it!) Bread with olive oil is brought to the table and was fine but not exceptional. My Caesar salad was crisp and fresh. Otherwise the salad was the traditional salad you'd expect--nothing creative, exactly as you expect. The fettuccine Alfredo with chicken was huge! The portion was more than I could handle, and the chicken was a high quality breast. The sauce was a bit bland, but perfectly fine. The prices were reasonable for lunch too. I didn't have dessert, but the gelato looked tempting.

Logan F.

Yelp
What a great gem! Was visiting Nashville and looking for good Italian, was not disappointed. Excellent portions, food was delicious, friendly service. Will have to come back!

Amber B.

Yelp
I wish more restaurants understood the power of good lighting. Walked into this place for dinner on a Thursday and it felt like walking into a supermarket. Odd combination of ceiling fans and fluorescent overhead lighting, way way waayyyyy too bright. Not the romantic Italian atmosphere we wanted. We were seated, left with a food menu, and brought very stale breadsticks. I was starving, so started to nibble on them anway until my husband took a bite and immediately spit it out. They had "turned" and had a very sour smell to them. Not like sourdough, but like bad cheese. OK, so we'll skip the bread and maybe order a drink while we wait for our order to be taken. Oh, they didn't leave us a drink or wine list. So we wait for the server to come back. And wait. And wait. And then get up and leave, to go a few blocks away to J. Alexanders. Yup, they are a chain, but boy do they get customer service, food quality, and equally importantly - mood lighting! As Nashville natives, we like to support local but for the life of me I don't know why anyone likes this place.

Eileen C.

Yelp
I don't know why I only gave 4 stars before. Fat fingers. Love porta via. Great food. Great service.

Raymond D.

Yelp
I haven't been here for six years, and I've been wanting to get back for a real Naples style pizza. I particularly like the chew of a real handmade Italian pizza crust, and beautiful tender mozzarella cheese. Well, unfortunately I didn't find either at Porta Via any longer. I really hate to ding any local business, but, the quality standard has slipped. The crust was almost the consistency of cardboard, and the mozzarella was like rubber. Every other time I've been here the pizza was in my opinion the best in Nashville, sorry to see it go. The service was reasonable, a little slow at first, then okay. I can only comment on the pizza, for all I know everything else is wonderful.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I stopped here 30 minutes before closing which was pretty annoying on our part, but we wanted to try it and see what it was about. The staff was kind and welcoming despite our bad timing. The bread was very stale and the food was underwhelming. He ordered a margherita pizza with pepperoni and I ordered the Fettuccine al Pesto with chicken. The pizza was pretty good, actually. The fettuccine wasn't so good. The chicken was very very dry and the taste of the pesto was bland and almost flavorless. There was also a random dollop of marinara (?) sauce in the middle of the plate. Not sure if that was purposeful. If it is, that needs to be reconsidered. This restaurant gets two stars instead of one because the staff was sweet.

Yelp
A solid choice. Open kitchen does not work to their advantage, during a slow period on a Sunday night their shenanigans and laughing spilled into a restaurant with eight tables. We saw two guests sit for an extended time while others around them were greeted. They walked out! Know the feeling. That be said our service was polite, timely, and the food was served hot and fresh.
