A (Brief) History Of London’s Best Snacks - London - The Infatuation
"We’re a nation of pastry lovers, so stopping by Porteña for a few empanadas is essential when you’re in Borough Market. This Argentinian street food spot doesn’t have a vegan sausage-based menu item, but as well as the three go-to meat numbers: beef, chicken, or chorizo, there are two vegetarian options: provolone and caramelised onion, and spinach and ricotta." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak
Third stop of our food crawl in Brixton Market. Ordered a beef Empanada to try. It was served hot. Pastry shell is similar to our Cornish pasty. It was stuffed with traditional Argentinian empanada filling ingredients. The flavours were subtle. Would recommend for traditional Argentinian empanada.

I stopped in here a few weeks ago after record shopping at Lion Vibes. I was greeted and welcomed by a very friendly staff. I wanted a small and quick snack and ordered a Chicken empanada. The dough was flaky and the filling hot and delicious. The empanada had the word chicken stamped into the fold of the dough which I thought was very clever.
