Google
They made a mistake with our pizza and generously gave it to us as a comp which was very sweet of them. The staff are really sweet. Place is small, clean, has a limited selection of beers (on the day that we were there). The hazy IPA, hieroglyphics was excellent - smooth and tasty. We ordered a wood fired veg pizza and it was excellent.

Google
Came today for the THChill and was not disappointed. Pizza, cheese curds, salad, all were excellent. The main attraction was the infused drinks. We felt so good with no alcohol buzz, DUI, or hangover. THANK YOU PORTERS! PPP

Google
I absolutely recommend this place. The place was very clean, and the staff were nice and were funny! It's a cute little mix between a pizzeria and a brewery, and it has checked a lot of check marks for me. The only bad thing I could say about it is the wait, but they have arcade games, pool, and other things to do while you wait, so I can't really complain about it. Would recommend! 5 stars!

Google
Fantastic food, great staff and service. Hands down, the best cheese curds and micro brew in Vinings! I love their seasonal beer selection and they are dog friendly. It's one of my fave local secrets.

Google
I love the casual ambiance of this place and it has four televisions. The servers were super sweet and attentive. The cocktail menu is fabulous and my husband was super impressed with the beers. The pizza is thin crust and pretty good as well. My favorite thing I ate was the fried mac and cheese. There is a really nice bar here with plenty of seating. They also have outdoor seating. Definitely family friendly as well. We went in before kids and there were other families with babies and toddlers all around and no one seemed to mind. We will definitely be going back.

I’m not sure what was going on during our first visit here. The restaurant was very understaffed and our poor waitress was serving, working the bar, and preparing orders in the kitchen. There were two other employees that appeared to be on the clock, but they weren’t helping out at all. It took a while to get our food, but I can normally forgive that if it’s worth the wait . I would have been disappointed with what we were given if it was at a bowling alley, let alone a restaurant with “pizza” in the name. The pizza had barely melted cheese along with raw onions and peppers on top (see pictures). I understand the concept of thin crust, but this was paper thin and was completely flavorless. To make things even more confusing, the giant pizza oven near the bar wasn’t being used. I couldn’t help but think it was out of service, which was contributing to the undercooked cheese and toppings. If this was the case, I would have rather been told up front, as opposed to waiting almost an hour for something reminiscent of a $5 frozen grocery store pizza. Again our waitress was very kind, but I did not find any redeeming qualities in the food.

Great bartender!!!! We went for mothers day and he was so helpful and just had a great personality.

Google
Excellent pizza! We ordered a sausage and jalepeno pizza, and it was cooked to perfection. Service was amazing, the people working there were super friendly.

Yelp
I really dug this place a lot. The service is immaculate and so friendly and fun! You can tell they all get along very well. The drinks are good and reasonable along with the food too! They've got a good looking menu and I can't wait to go back and try more!

C S.

Yelp
Pizza was good. Only people in restaurant and the wait was ridiculous. Was told they didn't have a full kitchen???? Will not return.

Yelp
Finally visited Porter Brewery after passing by for years. The bar tender was pretty cool she had a great sense of humor and service. The pizza I ordered was a veggi pizza. It started out great while the pizza was hot but it was less than stellar after it cooled..not sure if it was the cheese or other ingredients.

Yelp
Stopped here to try the flight of beers and pizza. We came on a Friday and were immediately seated. Casual vibe wit bar seating available. Not too noisy so good for catching up with friends. The beers are strictly average though. Only 5 selections on draft and none stood out for me. The pizza options are great. We ordered the carnivore and works. Both again were average with the crust probably under seasoned and toppings were average quality. Overall forgetable spot.

Yelp
We were in Atlanta for a cheerleading completion. There were 12 of us (6 adults, 2 teens, 2 little kids, a toddler and a baby). The minute we walked in the door the staff were amazing. They welcomed us in and were not put off at all by the large group like a lot of places are. There were a few arcade games and a pool table that the kids were loving. Most places make you feel like the kids are a problem, but not here. The staff was super friendly. We were not rushed out at all. We orderd some pizzas and apps. The food was amazing. The Choo choo pizza was a big hit. The burger we had was delicious. If we ever get back here again, this is definitely gonna be on our list to go back to.

Yelp
20 minutes for a pizza and No in here smh In a manager with the blonde hair need better customer service maybe a little prejudice smh It's cazy don't feel comfortable at all . I see why this place is always empty

Carly J.

Yelp
Stopped here on an impromptu getaway to ATL. My boyfriend found this spot and it was exactly what we needed before heading to the Braves game. The food, the beer, the service were all SO GOOD! We shared the fried cheese curds (delicious af), and I had the Choo Choo trio pizza add chicken + the truffle fries (some of the best honestly) and my bf had the carnivore pizza, plus we even "helped" name one of their amber IPAs! Overall a great experience, we'll definitely be stopping back through!

Yelp
This place needs Gordon Ramsey style help. Service: upon entry it's promising. We got an immediate greeting by a staff member and shown to our table. The cook greets my 1 year old daughter but upon no reaction persists with touching my wife's hoodie tassels hanging by her chest. Beer flights come out quick, waters follow. After that though it tailored off almost completely. Had to flag someone down to order pizza, not a single empty glass or plate was removed from the table the entire time we were there. Beer flights: the porter was pretty good. The rest were non starters. Neither of us decided to get a pint of anything after sampling their offerings. Pizza: wow. First of all, if you're under time constraints... I stopped counting after 55 minutes waiting for my pizza. We were one of 2 tables in the whole place too. Secondly, my wife ordered the veggie pizza. 2 out of 4 ingredients were missing off and had been compensated by 4x onion. She pulled off what she could and we estimated it was an entire chopped onion. My pizza had items cooked and then thrown on top of a cooked pizza. The bases are pre-made and frozen for sure. Dry and flavorless. Sauce is also bland. The underside of my pizza also had remnants of burnt toppings that weren't on my pizza so they've just used the same pan over and over without cleaning it. Hoping they can figure it out because the location is ideal but we'll be steering clear for a while

Yelp
Woohoo, first review of 2021! My girlfriend told me about this place as a suggestion for dinner on New Year's Eve, and I was shocked that a pizza and brewery was close to my house and I had no idea! Even more sad, this place has been here for 2+ years! Formerly a bagel shop, I last recall eating here back in 2014 (when it was a bagel place) but yet I have ran past this place the entire summer of 2020 plus sat in the Wyndham parking lot with friends post run workouts and didn't even know it existed!!! It's a small place with a long bar that takes up most of the area, a looooong bench against the windows with tables, and 2-3 tables in the middle. It's cozy for sure. TVs above the bar plus a free old school video game machine too. They offer craft cocktails, full bar and of course beer. They serve up about 7-8 different brews of their own (Porter, stout, lager, wheat, hazy ipa, marzen and seltzer) and all of them are very drinkable. They do offer flights and I feel you get a generous pour with the flights. I was especially pleased with the pumpkin spice ale, euro trasher (wheat), and the stout. And while these aren't all top notch craft beers, they sure do go down well. It's rare I go to a brewery and have every beer go down easily, so 5 stars on that. I have to add, most these beers would play second fiddle to the major breweries 2nd or 3rd best beer, but that darn drink ability is just too great to give them a bad rating. Also, the margherita pizza I ordered was so on the money. The taste was great and it was a nicely done, traditional pizza. Even the cheese curds were a nice hit to the appetite. The bartender here was awesome and made the evening more enjoyable. Overall, a truly great experience. I know for a fact I'll be coming back here again.

Yelp
I have to state that I was pleasantly surprised when I ordered my pizza to go. While this place is small it comes with a pretty hearty punch and price per pie. I ordered a personal pizza cost about 15bucks. But the flavor was on point. Very thin crust on dough made from scratch I wasn't sure what the expectation would be. I don't eat out that much during the pandemic and sometimes feel sketchy when cooks don't wear mask while food prepping. But I took my chances. For a personal sized pie this meatless black olive and mushroom pizza was very good. They did not have garlic to add more of a punch but still met the mark. I didn't have time to indulge in the beer that is made in house perhaps on my next trip. If I were to change anything I would put mask on the chefs and clear up a lot of the clutter around the bar and food prep station Clean look defines good hygiene just a thought while we are in a pandemic. But it was on a Thursday in the middle of the afternoons d only one customer at the bar.

Cory Y.

Yelp
Good atmosphere, few TVs and cool vibe. The staff is very polite and guy that served us was pretty chill. Now the beer is good too , but of course the pizza we got was amazing. Would recommend this spot anytime.

Doug H.

Yelp
I love pizza. I don't like shady restaurants. I wanted to order a veggie pizza. They said they add 20% for servers, okay. They added closer to 30%. My $14 pizza came out to $19. Then $26 after tax and scam fees. If they have shady prices for take out, I can't imagine who's getting scammed inside. Avoid this place. I've worked at many restaurants, this one is terrible.

Jamila H.

Yelp
A cute little no frills restaurant. I love trying local craft beers and they did not disappoint. I always get a flight when I visit a new brewery to sample a few at a time. They had a good range to choose from. The Galaxy IPA was the stand out for this IPA girl with their Mexican lager coming at a close second (an easy and lighter drink to go with your pizza). Ordered the carnivore pizza and garlic bread. Garlic bread was on par with what you pick up in frozen section at the grocery store unfortunately. The pizza was very greasy if that is your thing, but not my liking. I did enjoy the crust being thin and crunchy. The staff was very friendly and service was great. Not too crowded when I went so people were adequately spaced for COVID precautions. Will be back to try more of their beers soon.

Jacob G.

Yelp
This is a small place, but don't let that fool you! The pizza is great, but the star for me is the pretzel! Also...Adult Swim IPA is very good!

Missy L.

Yelp
Kristina the bartender/server has the most welcoming smile and spirit. I wanted to start by saying that. The pizza was Exactly what I was looking for after searching for over a hour looking. The beer was Amazing this is the best beer I have ever had. Only need 1 and it's taste so light but Boy oh Boy does it Hit.

WIlliam C.

Yelp
I live nearby this place and have tried to support it over the years, and it always disappoints. Someone in another review aptly described it as "shady". I recently went in on a Friday night at 8:30 pm to give them another chance and bring some pizzas home. Chairs were on the tables but there were people at the bar, so I thought maybe they were still doing to go orders - after all, it's only 8:30 on a weekend at a Pizza and beer place. The woman behind the bar said "We're closed", but then added for no reason - "that's what it usually means when chairs are on the table." She only assured that I'll never be back. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO CLOSE!

Liam N.

Yelp
Thanks Charles!!! Excellent restaurant, nice decor, the best service, full of good vibes and great energy. Keep up the hard work.

Yelp
Great place to have a pizza and a craft beer. Definitely a hidden gem in the area. It will definitely catch you by surprise , it will blow the expectations through the roof, so be ready to be blown away. The staff is great from the waitress, to the bartender, the cooks and the owner such a class act. The menu have great choices to choose from if you not in the mood for pizza. Ask for specials from the food and drink side. During lunch hours they have a personal pizza that can actually feed 4 ... The cocktails are made to perfection, my personal favorite is Mean Francine, not a big gin drinker but this one change my mind, in all i had a great experience and will be making this one of my favorite hangouts prior to weekends shenanigans

David D.

Yelp
2nd time here and again, they were understaffed and overwhelmed with only 3 tables. Our waitress, while I had to ask for lemon and ketchup twice, was all smiles and very sweet. My girls really liked the pizza. But my cheeseburger was awful. Bun was burned, meet was way over cooked and the bacon, which came on the side was way undercooked. And no condiments on the burger either, thus it was very dry. Prob last time here. Sad as it's easy to get to and good parking.

Yelp
This place opened about 6-9 months ago close to my office. We saw it being built but never went to check it out. I let my boyfriend pick the spot for the afternoon and when we pulled up, I was like "ohhhh, I've been meaning to check this out." Apparently we weren't the only ones. The waitress told us several people have had the same reaction, and now they're returning. We sat at the bar (several tv's to watch) and enjoyed a nice beer flight to share. We ordered a pretzel, that's made in the open air oven in the corner (same as the pizzas). The pretzel comes with pimento cheese, jalapeno queso, and spicy mustard. It was a little burned on the bottom, but I guess that comes with the territory when made in the open oven. Additionally, the pizza looked good, but we didn't have any.

Jeremy D.

Yelp
The food is getting better and the beer is actually pretty good. This is a rather inexpensive spot, and pretty quiet and chill; a great place to have some good conversations and have some good beers.

Brett A.

Yelp
So this place actually has good pizza but the service is TERRIBLE! Takes forever to get your order placed but once you do it doesn't take too long to get it. Just seems like the people working there don't put attention to the customers. Tonight there was a woman with 2 kids and she just sat there waiting while a guy was standing across the room just folding napkins and the other was chatting it up with a patron at the bar....completely ignoring the woman and her kids. My suggestion is place an order to go and pick it up or come with patience and order a beer before sitting down. Beers are decent.

Sahil M.

Yelp
A very nice casual restaurant, to bring family friends or a date. They have many beers on tap that they brew in house and some generic ones to your choice. They have a huge brick oven pizza maker that rotates inside so the pizza is crispy all over. There onion rings are good, and the service is awesome they defiantly come around to see how your doing. The bathrooms are clean also so that's a persons preference. They do pitchers of beer to your preference ask them If you want to get it as a pitcher and they will defiantly make it happen. They have amber ales, pilsners and a bunch of variety. Regarding there pizza, we loved it the only thing is that the truffle pizza there's a lot of oil. I feel like there needs to be a lot more sauce but you cannot complain because it's flaky crisp and super tasty and keeps it's texture when biting into it. Ask for some ranch on the side and dip your pizza in for more flavor. We also had a cheese pizza pie with jalapeños, side note just ask for lighter oil on the pizza because it might be overwhelming. They have taco pizzas, white pizza all different kinds and it's pretty tasty. Love the crust also it's like perfect. Final recommendation defiantly check this place out, try there pizza there appetizers, the beers they have on tap and bottles and enjoy some weird pizzas that they have. Use there check in offer 10 Percent off.

Yelp
We found this place thanks to yelp while we were on a visit to the greater Atlanta area. Initially, the place was very unassuming, and the parking of the whole shopping complex was interesting. But after entering and eating, I will say that I wish we lived closer so we could come back again! Food: I went with the pasta primavera and it was quite delicious! The sauce was light but flavorful, and the garlic bread that it came with...I wish I had a whole loaf of it! I also liked that I could customize it and omit the tomatoes and it wasn't an issue at all. My husband ordered a pizza, and we didn't realize how large the pizza would be, but it was definitely for more than one. The pizza was outstanding as well. The crust was buttery and crispy and they didn't skimp on the toppings! Beer: we only had their pale ale and brewers ipa, but they both were really refreshing with just the right amount of hops. If you're looking for some good pizza and beer, definitely check this spot out!

Jessica R.

Yelp
If you like thin crust pizza and craft beer, check this place out. I decided to come in on my lunch break and I was pleased. The atmosphere is you normal Gastropub, good music and tasty beer to try. They have a full bar and a wide selection of good red wine. There is something for everyone here. The calamari is out of this world! Definitely get your money's worth. Thick and filling! I also order the personal size margarita pizza, yum! After ordering those two items I was stuffed, I couldn't finish. Reading previous reviews, I don't see it. But hey every place is going to have bad days. Doesn't mean you should ignore this hidden gem! Definitely give this place a try!

Collin B.

Yelp
We live right up the street and I have been here 3 times. First time the owner let us in before the place had opened to let us test out their new pizzas- very cool. Second time, we went after the place had opened- food and service were sub par. Third time, bartender forgot to put in our pizza order and a car was broken into in the parking lot. Just tried calling around 8:30 for a pickup order and person on the phone told me the kitchen closes early Sunday, even though the website clearly states they close at 9pm. The place has gone drastically downhill- poor management paired with an unenthusiastic staff makes me seriously question how much longer they will be able to stay in business. Ironically enough, the pizza actually seems to have gotten better which is the only reason they get two stars, instead of one.

Anup P.

Yelp
This review is a long time coming. I am a weekly regular and can attest to the quality of the pizza, garlic bread, and IPAs. I can't comment on any other menu items (bc the pizza is too damn good) but the Belgian Triple is really well done. Everyone here is super friendly and although there has been a revolving door for bartenders and chefs during the pandemic, everybody new has been great bc of the one constant - Sayid. Truly an underrated amazing brewmaster. Can't wait for Spacewalker 3.0

Eric S.

Yelp
I went here after lunch just to try the beer. Didn't try the food, looked decent. Ok on the beer, tried the Pumpkin Ale, thought it was okay, but so damn warm was hard to drink. Next tried their Mexican Lager a lot colder, but very average, hate to say Dosequis and Corona are better, tasted burnt. Nothing was special or stood out. Service was fine, but the place was dead anyway, probably the reason why. Watched the manager on his laptop a lot, Looks like a takeoff on Fellini s with a brewery and bad attitude and all. Would I go back? Nada. Great idea and all, your in a affluent area, the beer and all, should be up there, instead of going after the Pizza, a brewery is higher than the Pizza. Instead looks like a Melliianial hangout and will go out of business.

Chelleigh C.

Yelp
Fantastic little pizza spot with a great bar!! The food was awesome and the bartender was super friendly and helpful as well!

Katherine G.

Yelp
Came here for with coworkers. Food was decent but the service was extremely slow for being the afternoon. I'd like to return and try their beer selection. Although, it's not super cute despite seeming to be a happy hour destination.

Mark S.

Yelp
This was my first visit. I gave the one star for the following reasons: 1. The service was very slow. 2. The waitress was talking on her phone while at our table. 3. The waitress forgot two appetizers. 4. This is the most important! I asked for military discount. The waitress asked for my military id and walked to the counter to "show it to the owner". she kept it for several minutes and remained on the phone. when i asked why she needed to keep my id she casually replied that she did not need it. This makes me very suspicious and i have tried to talk with the manager. he was unavailable. this behavior is not normal. I appreciate a military discount. I feel very uncomfortable with this server. I hope the manager contacts me as soon as possible. My next step is to contact the police as to the potential of fraudulent activity in this restaurant. Watch the staff at this one!

Terence D.

Yelp
Said is a friendly, happy person which makes him a great bartender. Their thin crust pizza is exactly what I've been searching for. Fresh ingredients make their beautifully crafted pizza amazing and delicious.

Bob S.

Yelp
Here on business. Place is a convenient walk from the hotel. I was looking forward to pizza and a beer after a long day. TL:DR; I ended up at McDonald's across the street. Food: They only prepare and serve one size of pizza: 16". If you are going by yourself, you're not having pizza. I had the boneless wings instead, which amounted to a small plate of lumps of chicken fat in BBQ sauce. Beer: The "craft beer" I tried made me wish for a bottle of beer. Service: OK.

Pat K.

Yelp
The reason they receive one star is because the following factors. 1.) the beer was FLAT and tasted horrible. 2.) the counter at the bar was dirty. 3.) the service was slow and non existent at times. 4.) the food (calamari and onion rings) were sub par.

Joe M.

Yelp
Wow! Staying at Wyndham and wanted to walk to dinner was pleasantly surprised incredible pizza and crafted beer! My daughter was with me on a work trip she loved it too! Great price, fabulous taste, superb service if I could give more stars I would.

Kiran J.

Yelp
I never thought I'd have to write a review like this, but I wish I could give this place zero or negative stars. I tried to dine in and order take out a few times. But it never worked out bc they lack in everything customer service. When we tried to order take out, they were out of mozzarella lol but she didn't tell me they were out until half my order in lol. Don't most pizzas take mozzarella? Secondly, when trying to dine in, their hours are always off. Their website and Yelp never match their actual hours. Let me tell you why. They close the kitchen/resto as they please. One time I tried to go around 8:30p and their website said open till 10, I called to check and they said they already closed at 8 and website is wrong. And that they close at 8 on weekdays and open till 10 on weekends. Okay cool. Tried to go last Friday. I called around 5pm to make sure they're accepting dine in and are open around 8, which is when we planned to go. They said yes, open till 10. We go at 8:15ish. The whole place is empty besides a couple of people at the bar by the entrance. The bartender (the only person we saw working and the same person I spoke to on the phone) didn't even acknowledge us walking in or even make eye contact. We thought it was seat yourself type of place. So we sat ourselves and began looking for menus/QR codes. Couldn't find them so finally asked her and she goes "oh we are closed." BAM! Off I went lol. She said we close if we aren't busy and we don't know until 15m before we are gonna close. I told her she should've told me their closing times vary bc tonight's not the first time it happened. She just kept arguing. Manager or owner wasn't there. The chef overhead and initially told us he can't start the oven back up and then later agreed to. Yeah, it was bad lol. Nonetheless, we didn't stay. We wanted the beer flight experience and hang out for a bit. We didn't want it to be forced. It would be uncomf and we would've felt rushed. So we left. But they alllll heard an earful. I was so so looking forward to this place as its 2m drive from my new place in SS. What a shame. Probably better off ordering take out, but def will not be giving this place any business. I've seen latest reviews about service and management. Hopefully the owner sees these reviews and takes action, or better yet, just shut this shit down so another local business can make this place home.

Kathleen K.

Yelp
I live only 5 minutes from here and I never stopped to check them out. We had a Margarita and a Buffalo Chicken pizza and they both were amazing. The staff was friendly and very attentive. I do not drink beer, but their brewery setup was pretty impressive. Go check them out!

K D.

Yelp
First time ordering from Porter's. The pizza was outstanding. It was not quite ready when I got there. I was able to pay and return to my car and they brought it to me in the car! Staff was very friendly when I ordered, paid, and bringing it to me in the car was a nice bonus. I will be back for more and try eating there as they had proper social distancing and even outdoor eating options.

Alana M.

Yelp
This place is awesome!!! Let me first say that the staff is fantastic! Nikki took care of my friend and I the first time I went and she was a rockstar!!! We had great convo with her and she took excellent care of us. We tried a few beers...all were delish! We had the IPA's but one of the owners, Charles, introduced his new Wheat beer to us and OMG...I fell in love with it! It is light but doesn't taste light and it was very refreshing! We also had the veggie pizza and let me say, it was one of the best pizzas in the city! I love thin crust and the edges were darkened and crispy and just yum!! Had a great time!! I went again 3 days later. I have a friend who just moved to town and I had to take her. We ended up splitting a pizza with half and half toppings. They were happy to oblige. I got to try the Amber beer and it was soooo yummy! My friend tried the bourbon berry cocktail and it was super delish too! Rachel took care of us that night and she was awesome! She knew her stuff and convo was great! They have many great options for food and some of the pizzas look like they would go better with wine. Since I think it's a crime to drink something other than beer at a brewery, it looks like I will have to order take out at some point :) They do have a full bar for those who don't like beer! The first pic is from my first visit and we scarfed it down before I thought to take a pic. The others are from the second visit. All in all, this place is awesome and I will certainly be back! Food is great, beer is cold and the people are awesome!! Check it out!! ***found out that a couple of weeks after posting this review, Yelp took it off the company site stating it was not useful. Really Yelp????

Courtney B.

Yelp
Recently discovered this place and love it. Great pizza and more items on the menu. A surprise with great inhouse craft brews as well as wine and liquor drinks available. The menu is more extensive than pizza but the pizza is excellent, thin crust and perfectly cooked. Nice casual and relaxing atmosphere with great staff and good food.

Haley L.

Yelp
Yummmmm! This is currently my favorite pizza place in the area!!! Their pizza has a thin perfectly crispy crust. We typically add pepperoni, bacon , fresh jalapeños and sun dried tomatoes. The sun dried tomatoes add the best flavor. We go here every week just about it every other week for their pizza. Their beer flights are nice as well for $12! They have a good beer selection and even let you taste different selections prior to pouring you a full glass. The only thing about the restaurant is sometimes they get backed up on making pizzas and you may have a wait. I'm willing to wait for their pizza it's definitely worth it.

Michael M.

Yelp
Great little spot in Cumberland area. They have a small selection of beers that they brew. Mostly IPAs and wheat beers but is always working on others. Allen Porter named it "Porter Pizza & Brewery" based on his last name. Also, they have a great selection of food as well. Try the pizza. I got "the works" and it was delicious. Located just below the CVS on the far corner next to Subway. Parking is available around back as well as the front.

Yelp
Promise you'll never call dominos, Pizza Hut or any other pizza place after trying this pizza. Best pizza I've had and being that I'm from LA, I won't be eating pizza again until it's Porter! The ingredients were high quality and packed with flavor.

Yelp
This place is awesome! A busy Monday night but we were seated immediately and our server was highly attentive with us as was Charles. Being Wisconsinites we thoroughly enjoyed the fried Wisconsin cheese curds with the beer cheese sauce. Some places try to make "Wisconsin cheese curds" but usually fall short. This place does not! Pretzel was another good appetizer especially with the beer cheese sauce. The pizza was perfect! We love the thin, crispy crust - not greasy and not soft in the middle. We will be back!

Yelp
Was very impressed with what they did with the space. This area needs a good pizzeria and porters did not disappoint. Pizza was flavorful, well done, great toppings, and they don't skimp on the quality. We had placed an order and it didn't exactly come out right but before you could even reach the table the owner had intercepted the pizza told them to make it again and service up a free batch of his amazing calamari. By the time the pizza came out it was well worth the wait the crust was perfection.

Yelp
I was hesitant in trying this place out due to the hot and cold reviews of the place. However, I know that new locally own places usually have a few things to figure out after they open so I wanted to try it. I try to stay away from big chains and such so this place fits into what I always look for in a new place. The location - You will drive by it and miss it every single time but once you know it's there you will be fine. Plenty of free parking and we walked right in and how a table. The restaurant is new and you can tell. The beer tanks are impressive and you can tell they put some money into this place. Plenty of TV's but they are not the focus point, the beer is... I will be sitting at the bar on a Sat or Sun watching some football The Service - Promptly greeted, seated and taken care the entire night. They have a team approach when it comes to service so you can ask anyone and anyone will help you. I was given beer samples to try and I was given a backdrop on every beer. The Beer - Stong, cold, fresh and made on site. What is not to like about that. The price point is good at 6.00 for a good strong beer. The Pizza - There was a large party when we were there and the pizzas were coming out one after another for them. The toppings looked amazing but I was noticing the crust was a little darker than I like. I was afraid that the pizza would not come through for this promising place. We ordered two pizzas, the taco and a make your own with sausage, garlic and basil. I will have to tell you the pizza was amazing. The dark crust was crisp and fantasticly amazing. I cannot wait to go back and try more. Also my kids had pasta and ate every bite!!!! Overall - 5 Star!!! People, remember this is a local new place that needs to survive and grow. Support it, they can learn what their customers like as you go in there... If you want a cookiecutter experience, order Pizza Hut and Dominos. Pros - Pizza - Cold Beer - Good Service Cons - I don't want it to get too popular bc it is not a big place.

Yelp
Best pizza in Atlanta. We had several people in our group. So we ordered a little bit of everything to try it all out. The service is attentive and kind. You definitely want to Have a pretzel. It comes with two cheeses and a mustard to dip into. Sooooooooooo good. Fried Mac n cheese was delicious. We tried the veggie pizza. A chicken bbq and a meat lovers pizza. Crust is great. Not to thin. And crispy. Toppings are fresh. I can't wait to be back in Atlanta to visit Porter Pizza Brewery again.

Yelp
Went on "school night" so didn't have any alcohol. Their beers look interesting, and I'll be back to try them. They also have several signature cocktails that sound yummy. I had the Greek salad, and it was very good - ingredients were very fresh. My friend had the Caesar, and it looked fresh as well. We shared a pizza, and it was delicious. I lived in NYC for several years and became a pizza snob. Porters pizza is as good as any NY pizza I've had. We had the I Dream of Jeannie without the truffle oil (sausage, mushroom and basil) because my friend hates truffle oil. It was a Goldilocks pizza - crust not too thick, not too thin, just the right balance of cheese, sauce and toppings. I will definitely be going back soon!

Yelp
Been there 3 times since they opened. I didn't expect fancy and just wanted quick service, yummy food, and good beer. They met my expectation for sure. I like the meatball appetizer, and the pizza looks delicious. I recommend the spinach salad as well but wish they can make the size a bit bigger. All things considered it's a great neighborhood restaurant with plenty of parking.

Yelp
Love this neighborhood pizza place. Amazing service because they always remember us and treat us like family. The food is delicious and the beers are great too! I especially love that you can get a beer flight and sample multiple. My favorite pizzas are the truffle pizza and the taco pizza. Great place to come sit up at the bar or get a table with friends and family to watch sports.
