Woohoo, first review of 2021! My girlfriend told me about this place as a suggestion for dinner on New Year's Eve, and I was shocked that a pizza and brewery was close to my house and I had no idea! Even more sad, this place has been here for 2+ years! Formerly a bagel shop, I last recall eating here back in 2014 (when it was a bagel place) but yet I have ran past this place the entire summer of 2020 plus sat in the Wyndham parking lot with friends post run workouts and didn't even know it existed!!!
It's a small place with a long bar that takes up most of the area, a looooong bench against the windows with tables, and 2-3 tables in the middle. It's cozy for sure. TVs above the bar plus a free old school video game machine too. They offer craft cocktails, full bar and of course beer.
They serve up about 7-8 different brews of their own (Porter, stout, lager, wheat, hazy ipa, marzen and seltzer) and all of them are very drinkable. They do offer flights and I feel you get a generous pour with the flights. I was especially pleased with the pumpkin spice ale, euro trasher (wheat), and the stout. And while these aren't all top notch craft beers, they sure do go down well. It's rare I go to a brewery and have every beer go down easily, so 5 stars on that.
I have to add, most these beers would play second fiddle to the major breweries 2nd or 3rd best beer, but that darn drink ability is just too great to give them a bad rating.
Also, the margherita pizza I ordered was so on the money. The taste was great and it was a nicely done, traditional pizza. Even the cheese curds were a nice hit to the appetite. The bartender here was awesome and made the evening more enjoyable.
Overall, a truly great experience. I know for a fact I'll be coming back here again.
