Awesome! Awesome food. Somewhat expensive but delicious. I went there with my son and 2 of my grandchildren. 🥰 ATMOSPHERE was perfect somewhat quiet,It was a Saturday and a hot day! We will definitely go again. The Shakes were thick and delicious,hit the spot. 💋we all had chocolate thick cold shakes...LOVE IT 😁. Forgot to take pictures of food we were hungry,MY son and myself had double bacon cheese burgers,kids had hot dogs with fries.😎😋😋😋.

Laid back but professional environment. Staff was nice and catering. Food brought back memories to my taste buds. It's been a minute since I had my Chicago staple food. Bacon cheese Burger, nice and hot - wished they added a little Mayo to my burger, but overall, I will definitely get it again. Fries were crispy and hitting just right, as I remember. I will surely make a return visit !

Stopped at this Portillo's restaurant location on Cicero on a weekday afternoon, for an early dinner. Located not too far from Chicago Midway Airport, and it was perfect for us as we were on our way to the United Center to see the Blackhawks. We ordered food with the self service kiosk, but you can talk to a real person to order food as well. It didn't take long for the food to come up, and their servings are plenty big enough to share. This location is big and has plenty of seats and tables inside and on the patio outside, as well as lots of parking spaces. if you're in Chicago, you have to try one of their Chicago-style hot dogs. Recommended!

Italian beef was so good! The beef was so tender and the bread was perfect! You have to dip it to get the full experience! It’s awesome! You won’t be disappointed!

Fun Chicago dining experience. Gravy is au jus on the steak sandwich. Shake was very rich and thick. Small could've been shared.

Sandwich and drinks fast food restaurant in Cicero. I liked the decor with sports and antique pictures and art work. It was loud in there with the background music being loud. It is self service and you have to pick it up when your name is called. Prices are not too bad. There is plenty of parking available. It felt cold in the restaurant for me.

This is not the first time it happened to me I ordered the extra large extra juicy with hot peppers so when I received the beef it was drier than dry. For nearly $20 I should get my food the way I had to order and last time I went I ordered an extra large beef I barely got Any beef in it there was even spots where was just bread and bread for the type of money we pay we should get better service. The food is good. I don't know if it's the manager telling them not to put too much beef in there or what but this needs to be fixed thank you 😔😭

OMG .....Not a long wait, got to view the menu & prices before ordering. Food was delicious and warm. Treated kids after delivering Thanksgiving Baskets Veterans. Didn't realize until we got home that my daughter left her purse. We called, very helpful female. Went back..... EVERYTHING there. Thank You Portillo Staff for this day Ending Wonderful!!! ❤️

First place to eat as soon as we land in Chicago is Portillo's. They got so many varieties to choose from hotdogs, sausages, burgers, pastas, and pastas. I ordered Chicago combo bowl-has hot peppers and sausages in a bowl with gravy, my family ordered Big Italian Beef & Sausage combo-with fries and drinks, Rodeo Burger, Cheeseburger and kids meal with hotdogs. The place is always busy but the staff are always friendly.

Checked out the new Portillo's and had the Italian Beef and a Maxwell Street Sausage--both were delicious! Classic flavors and definitely hit the spot. Only downside was the ordering kiosk; it has a ton of options, which is nice, but it felt a bit time-consuming to get through. Would still recommend, just be ready to spend a little extra time ordering!

Listen, this is my first time back home in Chicago in 3 years. I had to get me some Portillo's stat. At the door at 10am. I live on the east coast and all due respect to Chaps beef in Baltimore and Tony Luc's in Philly. This is the beef Mecca. Find me something better than a combo dipped with peppers. You can't. You don't review Portillo's you celebrate it. If you're in Chicago order you one. Best beef ever!

I ordered a burger, fries and a salad. I think Portillo's makes the best salad especially the one with Ditalini pasta. On this visit my salad was wet, in the bottom of my bowl almost like it was sitting in a little water other than that it was Portillo's amazing.

Wow really good. Italian sausage and nacho cheese frys nice .. The bun was baguete like but light chewey toasted warm really decent bread Could use butter.. had mustard.. Needed relish .. maybe but this place aight..

I travel a distance to pick up their Big Beef, hot dog and fries. Afterwards I do their Survey which usually "declares you will be given a Code for a FREE Large Fry with next visit. I have completed perhaps a DOZEN. NEVER received a Code. I then Contact Portillo via an Email "with my Receipt Code" advising them that I AGAIN did not get A Redemption Code for having done 'their survey. I held up my commitment and my.loyalty as a consistent customer. WHY doesnt Portillo's

Food was knee slappin good, but they hirin some clowns for workers, screaming across the restaurant while trying to feast on a nice meal. Unacceptable! Do better.

Portillo's keeps getting bigger & bigger. This is average size. I had a Rodeo Burger with Fries. The staff and service is wonderful.

The food is under cooked the polishes not fully cooked Italian beef meat not cooked fully . The restaurant is beautiful but whoever they have cooking needs more training. Everyone I know ate there complaining about the same thing hopefully someone reads this who's in charge and get better cooks at this location. It's located by a Walmart but never crowded I am posting the reason .

Consistently good food and service. Whether you dine in or drive-thu, I have not even had a bad experience.

drive-thru service was dragging. and i'm confused... i ordered ONE food item: chicken noodle soup. what did i get back? A CUP OF CHILI. it's funny, i even got the crackers for CHICKEN NOODLE... i once worked for Portillo's, it seems hard to mistake a cup of chicken noodle for chili before giving it out to the window... not only did i have to wait more than five minutes for a LARGE WATER and CUP OF CHICKEN NOODLE that i did not receive, the runner had the audacity to read back my order knowing damn well they didn't check what was in my bag!

Love always the food of Portillo's. New location is very nice, service has been great . It gets very busy , because it's so good . Plenty of seating indoor and outdoor.

The beef was not tender,the au jus didn't have any flavor, the fries were cold, they also didn't have any salt, the workers taking orders were not paying attention to the customer orders bad service I would not go back again.

Ordered food and never received it spent hours trying to communicate with the store just for my order to be cancelled. It's not hard to make food and give it to a driver but this location made it impossible to do.

Clean and fast. Good food. Still newer and was pretty empty. Will be coming back to this location

please explain how cash money is not accepted through the drive thru!!! if I am not mistaken by law cash is a legal way to make a currency payment. you make customers, and employees waste their time by not even having a sign that you don't take cash. There is a reason why people choice to go through a drive thru and not physically in a restaurant.

Great location only 10 mins from Midway Airport. The food is good and Latinas are working there so it makes me wanna come back . Cashless drive tru is quick and yes it's everyday. Next time I'll come back is get the double cheeseburger with grilled onions.

Service was kind and food was delicious. Great addition to the local area. Drive thru was cashless at night. Not sure if that's all day cashless drive thru or just nights.
