I haven’t been to Portillos in a while and now I remember why!! Not the best salad. They don’t make it like they use to and now hiked prices. Its mainly all lettuce for $12.98???? People go to Culvers if you want a fresh made salad and it cost less than $10.

I went here today to get one thing and that is my favorite item at Portillo's (when it's offered) and that is the infamous Lemon Cake Shake. It was pouring down rain and warm and humid outside. With that being said, the wonderful young lady taking the orders was friendly, cheerful and a delightful person to deal with even though she seemed soaked to the bone. I honestly can say I doubt I would've been so chipper had I been the one outside getting drenched. She was smiling and even apologized for the very short wait before she took my order. It was a very very pleasant experience and she deserves praise for sure. It was around 4:00 pm and if I'm reading the receipt right, her name is Katelyn. As for the atmosphere rating, I gave a 2 simply due to the fact that there was a stock car to look at. Otherwise it would've been a one star rating I mean come on... It's a drive thru and there really is no atmosphere about it. The shake was awesome and also the other young lady whose name I did not get that was handing the orders out was all smiles and very friendly too. This is my first time going to this Portillo's but it won't be my last. Two Thumbs up...

Drive Thru Order: Pulled up, our order was promptly taken by the drive thru guy who was welcoming and friendly. We got our food and parked to eat. We unpacked the bags...which were oddly stapled together. There were no spoons for our Chili and Chicken Noodle soup, 1st 🚩. Opened the "Tamale"...the masa, if you want to call it that, was still uncooked and basically corn mush, 2nd 🚩. We unwraped the hot dog. Good thing there was 2, because they were like miniture, kids dogs, 3rd 🚩. We really wanted to like this place but it just seemed like there were more cons than pros. The pro, being the Burger. That was an amazing burger. If we try again, we'll stick to the burgers!

I recently ordered a Chicken Caesar Salad, and unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. The lettuce was spoiled, which made the salad unappetizing. Additionally, the egg was only half, leaving the salad feeling incomplete. Overall, the quality was far from what I would expect for a good salad. I hope improvements are made for future orders."

I’m never one to call to complain but I called in about missing food. the gentleman who answer the phone was very professional and polite said to bring in receipt for missing food and I would get my missing food. Mind you I live 20 minutes away for this location.My husband went back with receipt in hand and handed it to an employee. Maria was called over and then gave my husband a very rude comment saying “you see these markings here means we separated them”the order. Pretty much saying my husband was wrong and that we received our food. She was rude and unprofessional I am in no need of free hand outs but if I pay for something I expect for my order to be in the bag. All I wanted was the food I was missing that I paid for. Maria didn’t have to be rude we all make mistakes and I get that. If she indeed is a manager this location is in need of a new one because she dosent know how to talk to people with respect.

I gave it a 2 star because I had received my order and cones were blocking my exit. It’s normal to wait in line until you have room to exit but the line wasn’t moving. I’d ask 2 employees if they could just move the cones and they got nervous and left. My passenger just got out the car and moved them. We made sure to place them back. I went to park in the lot, good thing; only to find my order was missing. I had to enter the line again, inconvenient! The guy I told, my order was missing; acted like I was lying until he checked; which took some time and finally got my salad. Also, do the chocolate cake shakes not have pieces of cake in it anymore? It was a sad shake. Sorry, but not the most pleasant experience.

Not much atmosphere as its pickup or delivery only. I was a little disappointed to find that they no longer accept cash at this location. I always go for the beef with American cheese, hot peppers, dipped. Great when everything is hot and fresh. Delivery isn't the best options as the food isn't as good once it cools down, doesn't reheat well.

Service is okay! The Italian beef having sausage in it with nowhere on the menu did it say it did! 🤦🏼 My stomach doesn't handle that and there are people who have allergies so things need to be listed as to what is in or on a sandwich!
