"At Portland Cider Co.’s Clackamas pub, drinkers can find the cidery’s wide releases in addition to small-batch ciders made in-house, like a single-varietal heirloom English pub cider. Each year, the cidery enlists the public to donate unwanted apples and pears, which it turns into its community cider. Cheese and apple fans shouldn’t miss the pub’s cider fondue, made from a variety of cheeses and pub-exclusive Scrumpy cider and served with house-baked sourdough, pickles, and apple-rhubarb whole-grain mustard." - Janey Wong

Good cider. The outside patio was not set up on a nice 75 degree day. The flight of ciders is fun and affordable. We ordered the pretzel and the one we were served was lopsided so half was quite overcooked and crunchy, but the side that looked like it was supposed to was delicious. The dish is good, they just should not have served the individual pretzel we received. Overall good spot that is family friendly with a fun environment. Not too crowded.

Good service, happy hour has some tasty food, and of course, delicious cider!

I was the only one sitting outside on their covered patio on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon. The inside was busy but its beautiful! Kayla was the one who helped me, she is sweet and friendly! I got a flight (6) of ciders, their Original Gold is a must try! I ordered fried chicken bites and sea salt fries. I wish they had a chicken strip/bites entrée that came with fries, i had to buy them separate, but I'm not complaining! The chicken was crispy breaded and juicy and came with two different dipping sauces. The fries were crispy and also came with a side of fry sauce that was delicious. I had an enjoyable experience and I look forward to bringing some people with me next time:)

My partner and friends and I come here regularly, the food is truly divine and the energy this place radiants is fun and inviting! The staff is always very nice, and the chef often comes and introduces himself! The menu changes frequently enough to keep things interesting and they always have delicious specials- even their salads are elevated and delicious… writing this review is making me want to go right now lol!

Great place to hang out with friends, large groups. Nice interior, very tasty and quality food and of course the CIDER !!!! For the first time I recommend to take the 6 shots in a row sample ciders. And I do not want to list here the cider health benefits !! This is a must try place when in Portland.

We had 6 people in our party around 5pm on a Friday. Our server was initially very plesant but quickly disappeared and couldn't be located after most of our drinks arrived. There were lots of open tables available. The fondue and pretzel were truly amazing and loved by everyone! Great selection of local ciders. My son had to inquire at the bar about his missing rootbeer, and a different server helped him. The pizza wasn't cooked through in the middle. You couldn't even pick up a slice; so I wouldn't recommend that at all. The fish was piled on top of the waffle fries, which left them soggy from the steam; a side by side plating would prevent that. Our son got a burger and regular fries, and he said they were amazing. So, the food was hit and miss at our table. We would definitely try this place again for the cider and fondue and maybe opt for a burger next time. Unfortunately, our server disappeared and seemed to forget about us and we sat waiting for food boxes and our check for a very long time with our credit card in plain view on the table before she returned and realized we were waiting to leave. Overall, it was a bit of a mixed bag, but the fondue will bring us back for a 2nd attempt next time we're in the area.

Did some exploring after work yesterday I've always heard of the Portland Cider Company, but never really looked into visiting one of their locations. What a hidden gem, we visited the location in Clackamas not your typical area for a brewhouse, but we really liked it because there was ample parking and it was not busy with people all around. The staff they had on hand were very attentive and very nice, you don't find a lot of places nowadays, with good service. Highly recommend doing their flight of different ciders, their happy hour menu is amazing. Prices are really good and the portions are more than I expected. If you're in the area or want to make a destination trip, I think you will be amazingly surprised. 😉 We had their Cider Fondue, Thai beef dish, and their Margherita pizza .... ;-)

Google
We had a sizeable event at PDX Cider & it turned out Great. Largely in part due to the support of the staff & kitchen. Emily had things under control and well organized. She communicated wonderfully with us, as well. We asked the kitchen to provide half of the food buffet as "regular" and the other half Gluten Free. Mind you, several of us are Celiacs, so GF is important. They did it!! And they did it well! We appreciate their flexibility at Portland Cider and highly recommend gatherings there.

Yelp
It was a Friday. Had to pick up some stuff at the Clackamas Costco and few other things. It was the afternoon and looking at 205 South we decided to kill a little time. I suggest we try Portland Cider since my life likes cider and likes some of the Portland Cider she has had in the past. We had seen the signs from 205 and had wanted to try it for a long time. It was a quick drive from Costco on surface streets (avoiding 205). Kind of typical cider house or brew pub with some outside seating. Seated promptly. Much to our delight we made happy hour. The waitstaff was patient and very informative, did an excellent job. Since we had really explored Portland Cider's offerings we ordered two different flights. All were enjoyable. Food, from the Happy Hour menu...French fries and humus. Generous portions, both were very good. Vinnie, the chef stopped and asked how we enjoyed the food. We told the truth...it was great. We asked about the food that a person at a table that was close to us was having. The chicken tenders. A little later we had some to try. They were great and the sauces were also great. As I said we ordered two appetizers and got some tenders. We are a bit old so we took some of it home...very generous portions. A very enjoyable time, great cider and great food! Thanks to Vinnie and the rest of the kitchen crew, the waitstaff and of course the crew that makes the cider...great jobs all!

Yelp
I liked this place wasn't blown away or anything but it was overall a good experience. Service was polite, speed was average. We had flights of the ciders which were all fine nothing life altering, the food was above average. It was a little loud but nice inside, some of this may have been attributed to an above average amount of children which is fine but unexpected.

Yelp
Made it out to Portland Cider Company's location out in Clackamas. They have two other locations (Portland and Beaverton). We dropped in on a Saturday evening (8:30pm). The inside is huge with a cute outdoor area. There's also a bunch of boardgames by the bathrooms. 14 ciders on tap along with cider infused cocktails, hot mulled cider and a couple beer/wine options. Cans are $4.49 to $6.10 USD. They also have a daily happy hour (3:00-5:00pm, last hour before close). - Flight ($10.00 USD for 6) - cranberry mule, strawberry pineapple, squeeze play, cinnamon roll, prickly punch and Santa's sauce. Flavours were decent but nothing stood out. Favourite of the bunch were the cranberry mule (nice tartness) and prickly prunch.

Danielle R.

Yelp
Food, cider, ambiance was great. They have games to play. Water station, and it's very clean.

Brian M.

Yelp
Food is amazing.. this ciders are stupendous and the staff is really friendly. Nice selection of oldies rock in the restaurant.

Laura C.

Yelp
I feel like I need to update my review since they've moved into a new space and added a full kitchen. So I still love the cider here (the Brut is my current fav) and I appreciate the same laid-back vibe and friendliness of the staff. We've tried the pizza, chicken bites, and fries from the happy hour menu (served daily 3-5) and it was all amazing! The chicken was perfectly fried with a light, crispy batter, it was so good! I'm looking forward to trying more things as they expand their menu and even start serving brunch!

Tom B.

Yelp
Very friendly staff who know their business. Food is good and I see why cider is such a thing. Lots of choices I should got the flight to try more, very satisfying for the two I did partake in.

Yelp
To be honest, I don't love their cider. The flavor profiles just don't hit for me - they're either too sweet or too dry. The service is kind of shaky too. I don't know, I don't love it! I only came back because my friend had a birthday party.

John G.

Yelp
I stay nearby when traveling for work in the area, and this has become a favorite after work/dinner spot for me. Some of the best ciders I've had. Love the spicy ones, especially the key lime habanero on tap. I've only recently had food here, and I've been impressed. On my last visit, chef Vinnie came out and asked how things were which was appreciated. His housemade chili flakes were perfect with pizza, and he brought fresh Parmesan and percorino for a topping. I normally sit at the bar and get great service every time. I've been here many times and that will definitely continue.

Sydney D.

Yelp
While service and ciders are good, the food was nearly inedible. My brother ordered a medium rare burger it looked nearly raw. I had the Cuban.... The pork was grey and looked like they killed it out back. Everything tasted bland... the banger was not worth the $5 add on. The food is EXTREMELY expensive for what you get. I wish it were better. Darn.

Harold M.

Yelp
We (my S.O. and I) absolutely love Cider, and Portland Cider Rocks the best line up of hard ciders we've had. We wish it was available in Arizona but we joined their cider club so we can get some delivered every couple of months! The ambiance of the taproom is warm and inviting (it was rainy and dark on Thursday evening) but so warm and friendly once we came in and sat down. They have a great new menu with several meaty meals...the fish n chips were large and wonderful with more fish than batter...the barbecue sandwich was too tall to fit in even my big mouth...really good flavor too! We will be back!

Jake J.

Yelp
Boutta crush a gay dayum cheese burger here we go. Like apples? You'll like this place then HYAHHHHH

Larry O.

Yelp
Chef Vinnie(?) was very gracious and personally came out to make sure our order was completed to perfection. All of our food was fresh and hot off the grill. I will be back to visit again soon!

David B.

Yelp
The place is located in the very very back of a warehouse business area, so at first you will wonder if it exists or you turned wrong somewhere, but just keep driving straight to the far back and the parking lot will take you there. Parking spots are limited so you may have to walk a little They have an outdoor area set up in addition to indoor seating. Large selection of ciders to choose from, however some are seasonal or small batch so they may be out of the one you want. The chicken bites were a good appetizer and came in a good portion enough for 2-4 folks to share. Enchilada dish came with two enchiladas with rice and beans. Enchilada had good flavor and topped with a good deal of condiments. Burger was good sized and cooked just as we wanted it, but lacked seasoning and flavor on its own. Would probably recommend choosing something different. Staff were very friendly and the cider was very good.

Yelp
Driving to this location for the first time in the dark I was thinking my friends were sending me off to get murdered. It's located in an industrial area, way outside Portland. I'm also not a cider drinker, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised when walking in. It was spacious and there is a game room in the back. Our server was so patient and kind. She took the time to ask me questions about flavors I like and brought me numerous samples until I found one that I enjoyed. Like I said, I'm not a big fan of cider, so don't go by my review. The cider lovers I was with rave how awesome their cider is. The food was okay. I don't think folks are coming for the food though. The sausage was questionable and the carrots on the hummus plate were old - mushy and slimy.

Kari L.

Yelp
Food is awesome, great ambiance, and if you are an IPA drinker they have a guest tap. Outdoor seating is available. I had the Baja salmon fish tacos and they were delicious.

Sammi S.

Yelp
Great place, Great cider and AMAZING food. Chef Vinny is a genius. Highly recommend his Margherita pizza!! Thanks again

Matt F.

Yelp
Really wanted to like it more because we love cider. Definitely recommend if you want to go in and sample ciders (the tasting flight gets you lots of options at a great price), and then buy a pint of the one you liked the most. Portland Cider makes really good cider of many varieties. We went for dinner and unfortunately the food was meh. Service was good. People were friendly. My gut tells me this is probably a much better lunch joint than dinner, so we will probably try it again for either appetizers/drinks or lunch. I don't recommend you avoid the place, just to manage expectations if going for dinner.

Stephanie D.

Yelp
We've been coming here since our kiddo was an infant and have seen it grow over the years. I will say after their last transition we were a bit hesitant about the adjustments but I do have to say, they've done an exceptional job. Their renovations have brought a higher tier environment and a new chef who is absolutely superb. Everything is now made from scratch and the portions are massive, not to mention absolutely delicious. Chef is truly a man of his craft, and his passion shines through in his food and genuine hospitality. If this is not in your rotation of restaurants, you're doing yourself a disservice. 10 out of 10 recommend

Emma R.

Yelp
we stopped here randomly for lunch, and WOW! I can not believe I've not been here before. The food and drinks and incredible, and so reasonably priced. they make everything fresh, and it tastes soooo good. christy was our hostess, she was so funny and kind, gave us great service! we will definitely be back.

Rachel S.

Yelp
This is my favorite place in Clackamas!! The food is outstanding. Love everything I've had here!

Alexis B.

Yelp
This place has my favorite cider of all time. Seriously, everyone should try the Sorta Sweet. The food is pretty decent, it's average pub food. The tater tots are always great, same with the pretzel and chicken basket. The staff is always so nice and makes sure you have everything you need. This place is a great place for any occasion, a birthday dinner, date night, family get together, you name it. Definitely go soon and try their seasonal Crangerine cider before it goes away, it's amazing!

Jana C.

Yelp
I've now tried about 4 ciders from this company: 3 @ Pdx Night market (sangria rules) And I had a bottle or Sorra sweet at dinner at Fogo tonight. Legit cider that is well balanced, wth good flavors. Nice going down the fillet. Thumbs up!! Thanks for always giving me such quality drink in this city, Stumptown!!!

Alden C.

Yelp
I first experienced Portland Cider Company about a year or so in a taproom in Tacoma and Steve and I fell in love with the cider so much! I believe it was the Sangria cider. We were very impressed! On a fairly recent trip to Portland we decided to go to the Portland Cider Company's own location. Once again the cider was great! We got the Concord Grape, the Hoprageous, Sorta Sweet and the Pineapple Rose. Once again we felt like all of the ciders were a real hit with us! There is food that is served here and we really liked that. We wanted to get a hummus plate which had a great tasting hummus along with warmed pita bread, house pickled red onions (which were amazing), cucumbers and baby carrots. The staff here are wonderful and so very friendly, easy to interact with and they just offer a very cheerful energy to this already great place!

G T S.

Yelp
Bushel and a peck, and great cider down your neck.. PCC is the place for a wide ranging cider selection from sweet to dry with different yeast fermentations. When you get to the core of the matter, ciders, food and service highlight the three F's fermented , fresh, friendly. No matter how you peal your apple PCC in Portland is for family, friends and pets to meet and enjoy.. Kayla and staff will make sure of it.

Wendy P.

Yelp
By far my favorite place to eat on the planet! I have been a regular since they opened this location. The staff is amazing and if you haven't been here since the re-opening this year they will blow your socks off!. They have the cider and beer selections as before but have added mixed drinks to the bar menu. As for the food changes my review will pale in comparison to you actually tasting it. The new chef is off the chain! Come in and check it out people. I am there at lease once a week :)

Cassie H.

Yelp
Came here once the county opened backed up. This place has amazing food! So delicious! I had the pulled pork sandwich and I think I said wow multiple times. The meat was so tender and flavorful. Though the food was great, the service was terrible. They refused to allow us to order refills of drinks until we finished ours. I tried to explain to the waitress she only comes to the table every 20 mins so it's hard to refill our drinks even when they are empty. She snapped at us when our reservation was for 2 and we had 3 people. I don't even understand the reason to snap when ALL the tables were for 4 people anyway. Every time our waitress did come to the table she didn't ask if we needed anything else. Just dropped off and ran. I had to holler at her twice! So annoying. Beer and food good, and I will probably be back.

Debi H.

Yelp
AMAZING! The new chef is fabulous and makes basically everything from scratch. Wasn't a huge fan of the food in the past, but now it's our new favorite. Definitely worth a try!

Mark S.

Yelp
Once you've made your way through the industrial park, you're rewarded with a warm and inviting pub that feels like it's in the middle of a cool, friendly neighborhood (minus any hipster pretensions, yay). I wasn't sure which of the many ciders I'd like and the server happily offered to bring a tasting of several. I'm GFDF, but found several viable options on the menu. I chose a sausage, onion and olive pizza (without cheese) and it was delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Will definitely return!

Brittany H.

Yelp
I am a huge cider lover. I have been to cider summit 4 years in a row and love trying new ciders. My mom and I went here the weekend before Christmas so we could pick out some fun cider for dinner. I ordered a flight and basically said no grape and I like a dry vs sweet cider. Other then that I gave him free roam to pick. Not a single cider was disappointing or overall sweet. The guy who helped only works on the weekend but he was super passionate and fun. The shepherds pie was also to die for! The atmosphere is always super cool. They have a huge game room with old school arcade games, ping pong, corn hole, shuffle board and more. I would 100% recommend.

Andrew R.

Yelp
If you like a somewhat rude bartender and crazy slow service, this is the place for you. Can't speak for the new menu but the ciders that aren't crazy sweet are gold. So there's that.

Antonious M.

Yelp
Extremely welcoming and informative . Their genuine passion shines though . Everything you want to try or take home is here with a good food pairing menu for those tasty , well balanced cider. My new favorite place .

Thomas J.

Yelp
PC just reopened after a renovation. Ciders remain good; variety, flavor. But the big news is their new CHEF. Yes I said chef in a cider makers kitchen. It was suggested we try the pizza since we lived in Naples Italy for three years and we had strong opinions of what places advertised as Napliton pizza and what it should be like. The chef almost most hit his mark for accurately, the difference is not looks or taste or chew of the dough, it's size. It's that his pies are 30-40% larger then a personal pizza in Naples. Taste...spot on! The Cuban salmon dish isn't for everyone. Bit spicy glaze but the pickled veggie topping is the perfect balance for the spiciness. The food was so good that only a few days later we returned to try more items. Got the fondue where they subbed a loaf of pretzel bread for a pretzel. Not sure what was tastier; the bread, the fondue cheese sauce or the mustard dip?!?!? We went a different way from our first visit and got a brisket platter and fish & chips (tonight the fish was salmon). Hearty portion of fries, lightly coated and fried salmon planks with delicious tartar and cocktail sauces in the side. Brisket portion was generous, tasty but spicy bbq on top and on the side. Serving of fries and baked beans (full of meat chunks and flavor). The homemade half pickle on the side was a perfect accompaniment. We had a chance to meet a Vinny the CHEF. What a generous and friendly guy. Gave us some other items to taste and each was better then the one before it. Want to try fantastic food and good locally made cider...you have to go to Portland Cider Clackamas!

Katie L.

Yelp
The cider is amazing! The staff is super friendly and work hard. The food is undesirable and not made well at all. if your gonna go there you go for the cider (eat before you go).

Sophia L.

Yelp
TLDR So many ciders!!!! Chill vibes, great cider, great service! There's so much to choose from and they've got a great deal on flights so you can try till your hearts content. I prefer sweeter ciders and chose almost all sweet ciders. I really enjoyed all of them!! Would 10/10 recommend if you are a cider fan (and even if you're not, it's a great way to try many!)

Julie S.

Yelp
Portland cider company for the win!! So delish! These are fantastic. The sorta sweet and peach berry were lovely if you like sweet ciders. Definitely a place to visit in Portland!

Lee B.

Yelp
I've been curious about this place for a couple of years, they have a very visible location from 205. Little did I know, this isn't just a tap house but a full restaurant! We recently moved to the East side of Portland and we'll be visiting much more often!! Brisket sandwich was awesome! The presentation was enough for me but the taste was great too. We've been a Portland Cider family (amongst other brands) from the grocery store for a long time and we were very excited to have this positive experience in person!

Jorge S.

Yelp
Excellent Ciders! I could not find a cider I did not like! The staff is friendly and helpful in making your flight selections! Definitely a place to come hang out and enjoy some Ciders!

Jennifer W.

Yelp
The ciders are amazing! And there's so many choose from. I got a taster tray with six and brought home a growler of the Sangria. This location is great because they have a game room with cornhole and Foosball and Jenga and other games. However, the food was NOT good. I I got a brisket sandwich with Cajun tots and the brisket was definitely not smoked brisket and the meat was so tough I couldn't bite into it or chew it. The tater tot's were cold and stale tasting. My kiddo got a grilled cheese sandwich that was on a ciabatta bun and not grilled at all and he hated it. I took a bite and it was pretty chewy. Mya isn't also did not like her brisket sandwich and my other aunt got chicken fingers that looked like they should be on a kids menu. It's a cider place and that was good but if you're serving food it should be decent. Go for the cider, not the food. If Portland Cider Co reads this, please improve your food. You could have a great thing going on!

Luan E.

Yelp
If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Went right after the reopening. The staff was super friendly and the house made food, sauces, and breads were out of this world. Flights are 10.00 and the meatball is huge. Get anything that has the apple mustard. Get a side of the apple mustard. Drink the apple mustard. It's literally life changing. Also Vinnie the chef is an Angel.

Sarah C.

Yelp
Such an awesome space, and now they have TRIVIA MONDAYS! Go play trivia, go for one of their neat events like Wassail, go to eat, go to sit on a couch and drink great cider, or go to play games in the back warehouse - just go!!

R H.

Yelp
I'm back again! Try the Bree & apple sandwich I'm not a big apple fan but this was amazing and a pint or ten of cider! Great cider, nice people, decent pub food and the Bree apple panini sand is awesome ! A great stop if you are thirsty and I clackamas

Tricia O.

Yelp
If you are asking yourself "Am I going the right way? Is it really in the back of this ... storage facility?", then you have found the right spot! Easy to see off the exit ramp on 224, but if you see it from this point, you've gone too far! Odd place to get to. The service here is really good. Everyone seems to know about the cider, how it was made, the ingredients etc. The atmosphere is laid back, no one is rushing you out to give your table to someone else. They have ok food for a bar. I pretty decent selection.

Karen B.

Yelp
We ordered a tray of sample ciders and were a little disappointed in them as we have found better ciders elsewhere. I was more disappointed in the turkey sandwich i had. It was relatively small in size and had less than 2oz of turkey. It did have two full slices of bacon but i bought it because it had turkey but it only had one thin small slice of turkey. I felt it was overpriced. Our waitress was nice but after unlocking the outdoor table and chairs we never saw her again. Needless to say there's a lot better restaurants out there and we won't be back.

Rocky R.

Yelp
Portland Cider Co. possesses that rare combination of great product coupled with outstanding atmosphere. If you are a cider fan, or even if you are not, I highly recommend spending some of your precious time in the Place that Jeff and Lynda Parrish (and a whole host of able helpers) built. My friends and I left with substantial smiles on our faces, and growlers full of 5-star cider!

Michele G.

Yelp
First time in the Portland area. Decided to stop here to try out their cider. Ordered an Imperial Flight to try 7 different variations. All were pretty good but our favorites were the Sorta Sweet and Strawberry (seasonal) cider. Both delicious. We ordered food as well. Had the happy hour pulled pork sliders and a wedge salad. Can't go wrong with a wedge salad but the sliders were fantastic. Everyone was very friendly and helpful when answering our questions. We would come back again.

Jonathan A.

Yelp
Great place to try out ciders. Wife said she didn't like ciders...that is until she came here. She found several that she enjoyed. Food is good too!

Seth W.

Yelp
After going up in the woods to play in the snow, my girlfriend and I came into have some tasters. "Bryan" gave us a behind the scene tour. We got a to taste some "to come" cider and a quick education from the brewer "Deron". They have football on the tv's and good music. We will be back.
