Portland Spirit Salmon Springs Dock

Its a nice relaxing trip down the Willamette and back. The parking is all street and it gets full fast so come early. The food and drinks were excellent. The upper deck fills up quick so get in line early to get a good spot. I have a disability, hip arthritis so it was a little difficult getting up and down the steep stairs and the VERY steep dock but other then that it was enjoyable.

My husband booked our cruise by a window for our anniversary and it was special. We met the captain of the boat and had our picture taken before going inside for our table. We had a 2-year-old and 7-month-old with us, and the staff were very accommodating. The waitress knew we were there for an occasion and even announced it to other guests on the cruise. There was a piano player, Mr. Jeff, and a bar with food coming out about an hour into the cruise. It was a smooth ride for two hours. I would recommend this experience to anyone visiting.

We went on the Happy Hour cruise in Jul and it was really nice. The price was pretty good, the boat is three levels, the first two is indoors and the top is an open deck with plenty of seating. Everywhere there was great, I only gave the food a 3 star because I think it was microwaved wings, but that could be because of the type of cruise we took.

Our server Kendyl was an absolute gem. Very friendly and accommodating! The live piano player really helped the ambiance. The drinks were well crafted and delicious. They were perfect to bring to the top deck to sip and enjoy the view. The Steelhead was very rich and had the texture of salmon but just a little different. It was moist and delicious. The lamb was perfectly cooked and juicy. Don't skip dessert! Both the chocolate cake and cinnamon cake are to die for. This was a really nice romantic night out.

Nice little cruise to hear the history and see the sights. Decent menu. Full bar. 3 levels. Top level covered, not covered. Nice seating.

I’ve been on two cruises with them, one lunch cruise and one a dinner cruise. I was very happy with the food and the service but the real attraction is seeing and learning about the Willamette river. I’ll definitely go again soon.

What a wonderful experience! I had the lamb, and my wife had the chicken. Piano music during dinner. The cruise was fron 6pm - 8:30 pm on Sunday. Everything was awesome.

The Salmon Springs Dock is where the Portland Spirit embarks and disembarks its passengers. It's easy to get to by Uber or Lyft; there's a little pull over area where car services can drop you off safely. If you have mobility issues, there is a long, smooth ramp walk way that you can take instead of the stepped area. Note: Portland Spirit only has stairs but it's manageable depending on your situation. Nice photo ops in this area, too!

This is the second time that we've cruised/dined with Portland Spirit. For some reason, I'm unable to find their exact yelp page. We were a party of seven and thoroughly enjoyed our lunchtime cruise! We decided to surprise our family with this special visit on December 26, 2023. The service was spectacular and our server was efficient, personable and fun! He recommended meals and beverages, which made our choices even easier. All of our meal were delicious and served up piping got! Before and after our dining, we were able to explore the boat. Our grandkids thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We will definitely be cruising again!

We enjoyed a fantastic Father's Day all you can eat bbq buffet celebration. The queue for embarking was long, but the line moved very quickly after the crew helped some physically challenged folks on first. The plank walk was very steep, so if you do have mobility issues, just let them know and they will help you. The crew was welcoming, and friendly. Our assigned server was a gem! We actually embarked early and she suggested we start filling our plates up before the crowd came along. Perfect advice! First in line and no waiting, but, even at that, it seemed like the food line moved fairly quickly. The buffet selection and quality was truly lovely! We went on the bbq lunch cruise, but they actually had some items left over from the breakfast buffet and it was delicious. The eggs Benedict was delicious! All of it was delicious. My husband was happily surprised by this quest, and he happily helped himself a few times to the buffet table! The cruise was equally lovely. Chilly, but so relaxing sitting either inside at our table or going to the top level to sit in some deck chairs and watch all the beautiful houses as we floated by. There is some amazing architecture along the way. Would love to know what they look like inside! We also enjoyed the piano playing. It lent an elegance touch to the cruise. We truly enjoyed surprising my husband and he felt like a king. It'll be something we do again for another celebration, I'm sure.

Um, er, really expensive. Who doesn't want to be on a boat going up and down the Willamette? It was basically exceptionally boring and I was on the boat for about 15 minutes before they announced that the "narrative" was only available upstairs. But $80 for lunch and cruise was insane. All drinks and desserts are extra. I hate to say it, but I'm not surprised they won't be continuing with the business. The cruise itself was short and boring. I did see 3 eagles, so that's why it got 3 stars
