The food was really tasty. The staff was attentive and friendly. the environment is very cozy. They have an extensive wine list.

This is a really nice place. The interior looks great and the Portofino is on the edge to be a top restaurant. Nevertheless, it's not there (yet). First of all, the ladies allocating your table at the entrance who are supposed to give you the first impression of the restaurant failed at their job. They where not only unfriendly and snotty but also seemed to be bored or not happy with what they are doing. The waiter seemed very willing, was friendly and helped with our choice. However, after the food was served, no more wine was poured in our glasses and we had to help ourselves. At a restaurant at this price category, you should be able to expect a seamless service, this was not the case. Also, we were placed at a lonely corner of the restaurant where the a/c was way too cold so we had to freeze during the dinner. Besides these critics, the food was really great. Especially the signature dishes of the restaurant are recommendable.

If I could give ten stars on this, I would. After the first restaurant I picked to eat at was horrible (Gordon Ramsay's Steak) We came here for the dinner and show combo, and we were so pessimistic. We were given a limited menu, but nothing looked appealing to us so he gave us the regular menu and said we could apply the credit towards this. Stepping into the restaurant, it was so beautiful and relaxing. It gives you a romantic dinner vibe, but is also great for families. The waiters are FANTASTIC! We told him about our bad experience at Gordon Ramsay's, and needless to say, Chef LaPlaca is a fantastic cook! He came out to meet us and thanked us for the compliments. The crab cake is a must, as well as the steak and chicken. After we met the Chef, the general manager came over to speak to us. If nothing else, they know how to make people feel important! That, paired with the fact that this is THE BEST food you can get in Vegas, made the whole experience wonderful. This will definitely be one of our regular go-to places whenever we visit!

We had group of 6. My 60 $ filet mignon was dry and over cooked. Other meals looked good. Oyster s were awful. Tough and dry. Not fresh tasting at all. Sam was a great waiter. Lobster bisque was delicious. Seafood ravioli was also very good

Great food! We had dinner and show there. My special vinaigrette salad is good, my wife's caesar's salad is wonderful. The salmon is to die for! The chicken parmesan is surprisingly excellent! The tiramisu is rich and tasty and the gelato trio is super smooth. The price is really very, very reasonable. The ambiance is high end/classy and our server Rocco was the best.

Great atmosphere at Portofino! I can't remember our server's name, but he was great. Very informative and careful to make sure we got exactly what we ordered due to a dietary restriction. The food was delicious.

Sent my kid sister and friend here as a gift because I had enjoyed the experience. They loved the food and the service, and praised the same dish another reviewer did - the burratta agnolotti. Most important to me, the owner quietly took care of a glitch in the prepayment in a very professional manner, saving the evening for them. That is the kind of service you saw in Vegas in the old days and I appreciated that.

One of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been too. The Sea Bass is amazing with the best polenta with leeks, exceptional taste combo. The Nutella creme brûlée is amazing. Hats off to chef Michael and his staff. Ate at Lago at Bellagio, which is good but doesn't compare to Portofino
