(Note: I write these reviews in part for my own nationwide business clients, for travel and activity inspiration. Follow me for more! I’m a financial planner - CFP®️practitioner - with a focus on retirement wealth strategies, primarily serving business women and LGBTQ individuals. #VirtualPlanningCraftedWithCare®️) This was my first time here, we happened to come across it as we were walking around… and now it’s a new favorite! This place looks small inside but it’s surprisingly spacious. We noted a beautiful patio too for warmer weather. We were here for thanksgiving weekend. Overall great place. Our server Chanel was lovely… friendly and attentive. The food was really, especially the burgers (thanks for the gf bun!), right down to the crispy pickles. I had a delicious sangria too. My kid had a chowder that liked a lot. The the hand cut fries! The ambiance was playful and relaxed. The queerness of it all was like being wrapped in a warm blanket. My hubby, kid and I were all comfortable and well received. The establishment is appropriate for all ages. Prices were also exactly as we’d expected expect for the freshness. It’s not only an LGBTQ friendly place as is most of the town, but this was for our community. With all welcome. Stop and have a nice meal. 💙🏳️‍🌈

Reliable, consistent breakfast and service. Just as I remember from many years ago but now a lot more gay-er and we loved it!🥰 The barkers/ hosts are a riot and send them love! We’ll always visit when in Provincetown!!

Google
We didn’t have breakfast we went for the show and drinks. I ordered the Georgia peach drink, was not great . I let server know and was brought back the berry cocktail, this was much better beverage. This was a fun girls date day out.

Brunch at the Post Office. My one pic is Before and After of my plate. Good Eggs Benedict. Also we have gone to two Drag Shows at night. Also awesome drag show brunch on a Friday. Very cool

Google
We didn't stay for food, but we hit the Cabaret twice during our stay in Provincetown for two fantastic drag shows with Paige Turner and Randy Roberts. Tasty drinks and great staff. The manager was really friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Google
Cocktails were delicious and the soup was scrumptious. But most importantly, Channell was beyond amazing and made our visit one to remember. Thank you so much for the wonderful time!

Google
Very fun place to eat. We had the eggs benedict, french toast with berries, greek salad, and burger. All were fresh and delicious. Very consistent food and service is the best. Friendly, upbeat vibe with the best people watching patio. Def recommend.

Google
Food was excellent and the waiter jack was very friendly and polite and offered great suggestions. Great outdoor seating area. The hostess was also very friendly. I will be back again this summer for a lovely outdoor experience and tasty food especially the scallops and risotto and the mussels!

Yelp
Stopped to have a drink and dessert at the bar before seeing Judy Gold upstairs! We were served by our bartender Chantel, who was fabulous. Drinks were wonderful, especially the espresso martini. Had a delicious triple layer cake with berries which was light and refreshing to say the least. The atmosphere was perfect. About four years ago, they decided to give the place a facelift. It is warm, cozy, and beautiful inside. Even the bathrooms were delightful! Chantel's personality is dynamic and contagiously uplifting. I'd go back in a heartbeat to have dinner next time !

Sarah R.

Yelp
We got amazing lobster Benedicts here and loved everything about them, including the crispy, salty potatoes. The restaurant was bustling during Women's Week and our server, Wayne, never missed a beat! The loaded bloody is not to be missed, either!!

Joe B.

Yelp
Such a cute place. Food was amazing. I can't get over how friendly and nice everybody who worked there was. Great atmosphere very clean.

Yelp
Friendly atmosphere, great service and delicious food every time you stop in. The bartenders are very engaging and make you feel right at home. Eddie and Channell are awesome. Best Bloody Marys in town too! What more could you possibly want? Entertainment? Oh yeah they've got that too.

Yelp
Had drinks and dessert with Chantelle (#1) and all three were fabulous! We saw Judy Gold on Sunday night in the upstairs stage area. Dessert was blueberry cake with vanilla crème frosting and strawberries and cream. Chantelle was sassy and fun and a great bartender. Kudos to the upscaling POC has done! The place looks great and we always have a great time! (Just bring back the chicken picatta!)

Martha S.

Yelp
Drag brunch! Great food and entertainment. Fun cocktails and great service while the show was happening! Such fun!

Linda S.

Yelp
Ordered a Margarita Flat Bread, it was not even close to that. No basil at all and Im pretty sure it was just a frozen cheese flatbread.

Yelp
Fun atmosphere and very welcoming. Eddie was AMAZING! Went for a bachelorette trip and had a great time. Attentive bartender and staff that ensured we'd have a great time

Dave D.

Yelp
We got married last week in Northampton and drove to Provincetown for the brief honeymoon. We've been to the Post Office Cafe in the past, and it's consistently wonderful food and service. What made this morning-after-the-wedding breakfast so special was that I could order a burger. For breakfast! We don't eat beef or pork in our home, and I have it on a rare occasion, and this was it! Also, we had super spicy and hot bloody Marys with a flavorful herbed salt on the rim of the glass. Honestly, if I had hair, it would have stood on end. Instead, it was just a sweaty scalp. For sure, a most memorable meal.

George P.

Yelp
Eddie is a great bartender, the shows upstairs are awesome (Paige Turner tonight) and the in-bar entertainment (Gerald Goode this evening) is super fun!

Keith M.

Yelp
Gina was great - very pleasant and engaging! And our breakfast was great, too - loved the western omelette.

Paul W.

Yelp
Well Chantel is something to be believed! This gurl is not only an awesome bar tender but she Is amusing and entertaining making a night at the bar so worth while. Not to be missed!

Barbara B.

Yelp
Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. The food was ample, delicious and fair pricing. Perfect spot for before the ferry breakfast! Thank you, Gina for your efficient and friendly service!

Stephanie H.

Yelp
Stopped in for a potty break after walking PTown. Patrons and staff were all very friendly as we sat at the bar for a nightcap. Had some conversations with other bar goers and enjoyed a vodka Collin and peach mojito. Ok. I accidentally spilled my first drink. I cleaned it up and got another drink. Felt awful, the drink was sooooo good!! We all had a good chuckle and enjoyed the night.

Yelp
Walked along Commercial Street perusing stores today with my family and looked for a place to take a break and eat. We were a party of five with one person in a wheelchair and everyone made us feel welcome and well taken care of. All of the food and bevs were delicious: two flatbreads - margherita and jerk chicken, French toast with berries, and Scottish eggs Benedict (out of this world delicious) coffee, spicy bloody Mary's, and a vodka lemonade with a cute name I can't remember!

Lila S.

Yelp
Lovely lovely lovely!!! As a local its not often we eat on commercial street especially on a Saturday night in July. But when we wandered in here on a complete offchance, We were so pleasantly surprised. It was a rainy evening and we sat in the bar area. The live entertainment and the service were both wonderful. Drinks were stiff and served up quickly with a smile. I had the jerk shrimp pasta and he had the fried chicken and potatoes. Both were absolutely phenominal and made fresh from scratch. I asked for extra sauce and im so glad I did i could have drank it. In all it was 100% worth the commercial street prices and the overall experience made it so much more worth it. A perfect example of stumbling upon a great place.

Yelp
I came here after dinner and watched the performance of Schart$ Creek. I love the show Schitt'$ Creek and this was the perfect parody. I wasn't allowed to bring in my milkshake, but they held it in the back for me when the show was gone I was able to finish it. The show was great, and I want to give a special shout-out to the actors who played David, Moira, and Alexis. They were great and really captured the nuances of each character. All of the performers did well, and I was really happy with the seating arrangements being the shortest people closest to the aisle so that everyone can see. I loved it here.

Teri C.

Yelp
Absolutely fabulous! Food, drinks and Chanel. The best! Breakfast with friends! Thanks for making our day!!

Amanda A.

Yelp
This was the most welcoming bar we went too. The staff was so nice. Eddie was amazing! Best bartender ever.

David R.

Yelp
Charming little spot with friendly staff, great food and drink. Entertaining decors made for very pleasant experience. Will definitely be returning next time we're in P-town.

Kelly L.

Yelp
Best stop of the week! The vocals were off the chart. Service was impeccable. Chanelle was the most hospitable and friendliest bartender ever and made the best expresso martinis (the creamy ones) ever! Will remember this place for a long time!

Joanne B.

Yelp
We had breakfast yesterday morning at the Post Office Cafe and the food was delicious, the ambience was entertaining, and the service was excellent with Gina as our server she was very attentive and friendly!! Looking forward to going back again

Mary Jo S.

Yelp
Great breakfast. Gina provided excellent service. Recommend omlette with Fiddlehead IPA.

Kelly D.

Yelp
Service was outstanding! Drinks were perfect! Will make this a must stop on next trip! George was wonderful.

Mary Charlotte B.

Yelp
Delicious and everyone is so nice! We loved the host Schnnell. Always a stop when we visit Ptown

Elizabeth D.

Yelp
Hostess was rude. Not family friendly no high chairs. Table for 4 is best here. Bar back was short. Bartender was personable and funny. Our server, Gina, was very friendly and quick. Food was 4.5/5

Kit S.

Yelp
Great location in town. Our server was friendly, professional, and attentive to our tables needs during breakfast. The range of brunch options on the menu was nice as well since some of us wanted lunch and others were looking for breakfast items. The tater tot nachos were so good we shared them with the table. The make your own omelette is always nice and the veggie burger sliders tasted pretty good too.

Pam B.

Yelp
Stopped in for a drink. The bartender Eddie was so fun and funny, he set the tone. His humor is amazing. Then we had the pleasure of hearing Mike Flanagan and Keb play. Little did we know the treat we were going to get. They were so damn good! The catalog in their brains of music is astounding. To see them play off each other...the brilliance. Mike is a pro. He has a great energy. Mike let Keb shine, so generous, but also, he just does shine because he is that good! Quietly, graciously and beautifully. Thank you Mike, Keb and Eddie!!!! I look forward to seeing you again!

Patrick P.

Yelp
Food is always good. Gina is an incredible waitress. You would think she didn't have a worry in the world. Her personality is outstanding. She always has a smile on her face. She just doesn't serve your food and try to make conversation. She serves your food with a smile and with a warm touch.

Shawn R.

Yelp
Eddie was very kind and tentative. This is the second time my husband and I have met him. Hes super awesome. We love Eddie

Baillee C.

Yelp
Amazing service Chanell was AMAZING. And the passion fruit special was the BEST drink I've had in my life!

Erin W.

Yelp
Drag brunch was so fun and I sat next to Paul (the owner) who was lovely. Great espresso martinis and eggs Benedict and the queens were amazing. Highly recommend!

Brian L.

Yelp
The food was terrible. Ordered steak tips and fries. Both orders were supposed to be medium. Came out medium rare. When we spoke to the server. Did nothing. Took the full plates away. We never saw a manger. No one came to the table Carnival 2023. 8/17/23. 8 pm

Sera G.

Yelp
I love this place!!! The drag brunch does not disappoint! I was pleasantly surprised with how good the food was too! Ivan took great care of us and there was a sassy bartender who was awesome but forgot his name. Bar back ispretty cute too

Theo B.

Yelp
I just saw a show with four amazing drag queens. One did an amazing Selene Dion that I had greatly hoped for, another did personal Ed me song I will never forget, the third did an amazing Grace Jones with all ther sharp predatory moves and the host made me love Pet Benatar all over again! Totally worth every penny of the the $35 and more. I would totally recommend this show. The speakers are kinda jacked so bring eat plugs if it's to strong.

Eugenia A.

Yelp
Went for the drag bunch with our girls and their friends. So much fun. The entertainers and staff were all on point. The food and drinks were great!

Becky G.

Yelp
We were on the hunt for some coffee and breakfast and found this place. The staff was all friendly! The food came out fast and it was delicious! I got the breakfast toast with a scrambled egg on top! We also had our 2 Australian shepherds with us and were able to sit on the patio outside with them. They were very considerate and brought us a water dish for them as well as sat us in the corner of the patio which we appreciated so that we could enjoy our meal without the dogs being distracted by people walking by them. Great restaurant! Highly recommend!

Annie C.

Yelp
Loved the live music! I got hot chocolate but it is from a store bought package. Still delicious and hit the cravings of a cold night.

Tara C.

Yelp
Stopped in for a Bloody Mary. Best bartender Mary made up a delicious drink. Didn't stay long but it was a pleasant experience. Will be checking out one of their comedy shows as well. They have a lot going on here.

H C.

Yelp
I would Not waste my time visiting this establishment. Host is clueless, terrible atmosphere. Not sure how they would expect 2 people to sit a at 2 topper when there is 3 people sitting at the next 2 topper! But this establishment allows it!! If I could have given it a no star I would have. I will be sure to spread the word about my most recent experience..

Corinne V.

Yelp
Fun place for Brunch if you're in P-Town on the weekend! The wait wasn't long for outside seating, and inside they were doing drag brunch which was fun - check that out if you're interested in a show with breakfast! The service was quick and the staff were kind. I got "It's a Lox" which came with home fries and it was all super delicious and reasonably priced!

Belkis R.

Yelp
Awesome restaurant and bar, in fact one of my favorite bars in Provincetown. Stopped for a drink and ended up staying a few hours. Ryan and Tito provided the best service and were even helpful with the drinks and menu suggestions. I felt so welcomed and everyone was extremely nice. Drinks were delicious and so was the food, will definitely be coming back. Thank you for the hospitality.

Keith J.

Yelp
SIMPLY THE BEST FOR SUNDAY BRUNCH! Gail at the door is the most amazing lady and super sweet! Chanel is a super fun bartender who puts on his own little show in addition to slinging great drinks. The food is very good and makes the brunch hardy, Then there is the drag show - in a tight space but well done by good quality queens; worth your time and tip dollars. It was a blast!!!!

Jody W.

Yelp
I've never eaten here before last night...I've been to shows at the Cabaret over the years but never ventured into the Cafe. One of the folks in our group was starting to get hangry, so we had to make a decision fast. We popped in and were seated immediately. This place is good to go with a diverse group that has a variety of food likes/dislikes...etc...the menu is extensive and has everything from pasta dishes to hamburgers to local seafood. Our waitress was awesome. She was funny and engaging. Food and drinks were served promptly. Not many beer choices but the bar makes a decent cocktail. We had a variety of beverages: mudslides, chocolate martini, corona with lime, coke with fireball and a diet coke with malibu rum. I had a garden burger with a side of sweet potato fries ($1 extra) - very good. I threw in some guacamole ($1 extra) for the burger and that kicked up the flavor a notch. The honey mustard dressing was recommended to go along with the sweet potato fries and that worked out really well. Others at the table had a garden salad, potato skins, chicken piccata and ravioli. Everyone was happy with what they ordered. I had one of the potato skins - they're huge. They're more like potato skin "cups" with only a little bit of the inside potato scooped out and removed. A little greasy but definitely tasty. There's something for everyone here; plenty of variety. We couldn't find our fabulously friendly server to get the check at the end of the meal, but it was fine...we were enjoying each other's company.

Nancy G.

Yelp
Our server Jack was amazing not hurried precise. Kale soup was one of if not the best I've ever had! Yes big words well deserved! Fresh kale Chourice tender with perfect ly balanced kick broth a compliment to the ingredients so good I want the recipe We sat at a table street side so good to be at that spot watching the show that is uniquely commercial st PTOWN to people watch and enjoying food that is thoughtfully prepared and delicious

Kara S.

Yelp
This joint is super solid for breakfast. The menu is vast, almost too hard to choose what you want too. I had the BEST THING. Lobster/crabcake benedict but I went with my eggs over medium. At $16 it's a steal and a large, delicious, filling meal. I had to smack my wife's hand away from my dish after the first taste that I shared with her. The homefries were also perfectly flavorful and a nice mix of crunchy and soft bits. My friend got the eggs stuffed in potato skins and they looked so good and filling. This is definitely my favorite C-Street breakfast place. I will definitely be back in the future.

Roger D.

Yelp
Never even made it in the door due to the extremely rude woman out front. Say "Good Morning" to her and she turns her head and pretends we're not standing there so she can greet two men together behind us. That kind of attitude is ridiculous and it's not even July yet.
