I was super pumped to try out this small business. The cafe itself is super nice and cozy and great for working remote/ hanging out with friends. It stays pretty quiet in there throughout the morning. My second time here and the first time I had the matcha latte alone. I love supporting small businesses and truly did not hate or love the first one. Second time around I ended up trying their Samidori matcha with their seasonal Sakura strawberry foam with whole milk. Honestly I was dissatisfied, not only was it too milky which the foam then added on to. I barely tasted the matcha. They have two types of matcha but honestly after giving it a second chance I would stand firm on passing on the matcha here. I didn’t even finish it bc I felt like I was drinking a cup of milk which I rarely do. Again their coffee might be good but it is not my preferred caffeine, hence will be a pass for me. The coffee shop is very aesthetic and honestly a great remote work place with plenty of seating and pretty quiet in the mornings.

This was such a nice little cafe! The interior is absolutely gorgeous, and the workers were very pleasant. I tried the iced coconut ube latte, which was definitely pricey, but it was pretty and delicious. It was so smooth and rich with the perfect amount of sweetness. There is lots of indoor and outdoor seating. If you’re looking for another cafe to try, add this place to your list!

I am always looking to patronize good coffee shops. As a virtual teacher, I am constantly looking for a relaxing cafe to escape to where I can spend the day drinking good coffee, latte, or tea on the weekend. Even though this cafe is over 40 minutes on the back road, I decided to go check it out. Let me tell you, that drive was well worth it. Postern had everything I was looking for when it comes to a relaxing place for me to unwind. Here's what I love about this cafe: 1. Delicious drinks. I had the iced Coconut Ube Latte and the Hot Edward E[l]RIC. Both drinks were so delicious. 2. They carry Leftie Lee's pastries. 3. Relaxing ambiance and chill vibe. I literally felt myself automatically relax. 4. Spacious area to work, sit, relax, study, or read. They even have an outdoor seating and there's heating lamps outside. 5. Variety of comfortable seats, tables, and comfy chairs. 6. Stable wifi so you can work. 7. Friendly and fast service. The staff definitely knows how to make the drinks. Go check them out. Trust me, it's a great cafe.

My teammates and I sometimes choose to work our morning from here. We love it. It’s cozy, the service is amazing, and the drinks are mouthwatering. My favorite is the Coconut Ube Latte (Iced).

Postern is a gem of a coffee shop and should be a must-try for any javaphile in the Atlanta area. During my first visit, I had the pleasure of meeting Josh, one of the owners, who explained their roasting process and coffee origins. It is exciting to find a place that roasts their own beans and aims to perfect the coffee experience. This is immediately apparent upon entering Postern. The space they share with Minhwa Spirits is incredibly inviting and warm. Their unique menu utilizes flavors indicative of Asian American culture. And their espresso is expertly pulled, a direct result of their measured espresso grind and precise handling of the Kees van der Westen Slim on premise. The amazing music and friendly service only adds to the already impressive operation. My only complaint is wishing I had known about Postern Coffee sooner. I look forward of making my visits routine.

I tried their matcha latte with pandas syrup and it was perfect. The syrup did not overpower the flavor of the matcha and I loved the flavor of the matcha as well. They are mainly known for their coffee lattes which I can't wait to try next time. They also have unique baked goods that look delicious. I will be back & you should definitely check them out!

I am writing this review geared towards those who are looking for good coffee and a place to work/study. Coffee/Drinks: Coffee is of amazing quality. Them barista know how to care and tender their coffee. I had the coconut ube latte and I was blown away. Such a unique taste that goes so well. The subtle sweet purple ube with a strong bitter coffee. I find myself satisfied and happy every time. I also had the Seoul Chai Latte and that was simple and clean as expected. Study place: Honestly one of the favorites and frequent places. I love how it is very dark academia type vibes or even industrial aesthetic honestly. Simple natural colors with lots of natural lighting coming in from the big vast windows in the front. the back is where the booths are with no lighting for those who prefer a more enclose feeling. In terms of outlets, they are pretty scarce and mostly in the back with the booths (about three outlets with 6 plugs total I believe). Please come with your devices charged. Theres also bar stools by the bar counter if you prefer that method of studying. There is also a couch in the front with two smaller coffee tables. There are also outdoor seating with umbrellas for the sun. There's also a wooden chairs circling a campfire as well. I enjoy the atmosphere and find myself very productive here. This type of place does operate from 7am-4pm. I wish they could open till late for a night owl like me, but it's ok. I shall accommodate. The people here are amazing and kind. Always thanking me and really helps create a friendly atmosphere. The bathrooms here are also very clean and elegant to say the least. I look forward to making this place my frequent stop.

One of the most unique latte flavors I've had (the Hi-Five), and you could actually taste the clove and anise very well which I enjoyed! It wasn't overwhelming and well balanced with the coffee. My boyfriend got the Coconut Ube, which after tasting, I realized I wish I had gotten that because it was more my style... however the Hi-Five was still very very good! Overall, you can tell the coffee is good quality. The seating area was kept very clean and had a lat of natural light which I love. The bathrooms were well maintained too. Plenty of parking available. They have outlets near the booths in the back, but I'm sure those seats get grabbed first so come with a full charge on your devices if you don't come earlier in the day! I just wish this was closer... but maybe it's a good thing it isn't because I'd be coming all the time and I'd drain my bank account by constantly buying the Coconut Ube Latte.

Matcha uji with strawberry foam is a tad bit sweater than the samisordi. Friendly quick service. Love their matcha here.

My new fav coffee in Atlanta!!! Postern is in Minhwa Spirits in the mornings and afternoons and has super unique and delicious drinks and pastries. It's a bit busy so it might be hard to find seating indoors, but there's plenty of tables outside on their patio. The staff is super friendly and gives really good advice on drinks, but I keep going back to their ube lattes lol. I love how creamy they are and the caffeine provides the perfect kick. The restaurant in Minhwa switches often, so the food is hit or miss, but the coffee from Postern is always the best!

Really cute spot with lots of seating, both indoors and outdoors! And a great place to get some work done. I love their seasonal menu, always featuring lots of interesting flavors. And I can see this spot appealing to coffee lovers. I, personally, am not the biggest coffee person, so I wish my drink was a little sweeter. But I think that's what would make other people love it.

I've enjoyed everything I've gotten while some friends didn't enjoy theirs as much, but it's been a 5 for me each time! I've tried their matcha latte with strawberry sakura foam and another with their banana milk/cream.

Postern Coffee is located inside Minhwa Spirits. It's a cool concept place in my opinion. I always get the matcha there because of its quality. There's a seasonal strawberry Sakura foam I tried out and it's pretty tasty. I would love to come back to try the food items, but it's just a little out of the way for me. Service is always nice here too!

OMG today I had the most delicious coffee beverage - I couldn't stop ooo'ing and ahhh'ing after my first few sips. 3 words - Coconut Ube Latte. I got the iced version - $7.50 for 16oz. drink. Espresso, oat milk, and coconut ube syrup. Their drinks are made to order, and I could see the guy making my drink like it was art - that was food made w/ love - thank you! I purposely haven't drank all of it so I can savor it over time - well also maybe in part b/c I have a caffeine sensitivity too, lol. Postern Coffee has a great menu selection - not just pour overs but also intriguing coffee/tea beverages w/ an Asian twist like their Korean Palmer w/ lemonade and lavender infused barley tea, their Seoul Chai w/ misugaru cold foam, their Edward E(l)ric w/ gochujang syrup, and more! And seriously, you can see the guys taking great care making your drinks! As mentioned in my Ganji review too, I love that Minhwa Spirits hosts their space for other local Asian businesses like Postern Coffee, Ganji, and pop-up's - you also need to check out the beautiful Korean mural on the side of the building! The space inside and outside are great!

WOW. This has made the list of coffee shops in Atlanta that I WILL come back to. NEED to, really. And I'll have you know, I frequent Atlanta quite often since I have family here so I've been to more coffee shops in the area than most, and very few have left me desiring to come back. But Postern did that. Heck, I even bought a shirt to remember them by! As soon as I saw they had an ube latte on the menu, I knew I wanted to try it out. It's a coconut ube latte, and it was as delicious as it was beautiful. Sweet but not too much so you still appreciate the coffee and just wow. They had a "Korean Palmer" that was super refreshing and nice if you don't want coffee. The chocolate sea salt cookie we tried was really good- deep chocolate flavor but not overly sugary. Everything was great. I honestly wished I would've ordered another ube latte or they had a mega size, LOL. The whole vibe here too was just so on point. The workers behind the bar were so kind and friendly and I really enjoyed talking to them. The artwork and decor was modern but paid homage to Asian roots and it really felt so cozy and like a nice place to hang out. Highly, highly recommend!

Since I'm working a gig close to Doraville, this spot has been my jam! Their coffee is so dang on good. I keep saying I'm going to try other flavors outside of their vanilla that is so unique, but I keep getting the same because it's so good. I have to try their soy caramel one next. Their service is also great and they take time to explain their menu and unique flavors to you. It's such a cute coffee shop too. I'll have to find some time to actually sit down and work there. Wish there was one closer to the city where I live, but in the meantime I'll be there every week until I wrap this project.

Quiet and chill. Perfect for some early morning studying or work. I got the ube coconut latte which was yum, but I hope they get even more unique flavors in the future. The interior design is stunning and I'll be taking notes for my own home!

I was looking for a niche cafe near me in Doraville. While searching, I saw that they had a vanilla pandan latte and was immediately intrigued. It's in a small Asian plaza on a hill. This place would be better for a meetup with friends. I love their drink menu. They have good flavors and seasonal specialities. I was going to get a pandan flavored latte (flavor shots are listed on the menu for $0.75), but then I saw the Seoul chai on their seasonal menu and knew I had to try it. I haven't had a chai with cold foam in a while. It came out to about $7 for a hot 16oz speciality chai. It had pretty presentation with the cinnamon sprinkled on the cold foam. My chai was warming and delicious. It was a powdery after I drank half of it. There's a couch area at the front, regular tables by the window, counter seating, and booth seating at the back. Outlets can be found at the booths in the back and at the couch. The cafe is decorated in a modern chic way, and the bathroom is clean and stocked. There's plenty of free parking in the plaza.

All ube lovers NEED to give this coffee shop a try! This hidden gem is in Doraville and shares a space with Minhwa Spirits. The interior has a modern design touched with various shades of green that gives it a more welcoming & relaxing atmosphere. There's also a variety of seating to choose from - indoors and outdoors! This coffee shop is a great place to do busy work or to catch up with friends. I tried their Coconut Ube Latte - which is made with oat milk - and it was deliciously perfect. The flavors they chose to combine blended so well together, and the presentation was made with care. I also wanted to try their matcha since I've only heard great reviews, but they were sold out! I will be back to give their matcha a try! Lastly, service was phenomenal. Greeted with warm, smiling faces and available to answer any questions.

So excited that I got to try Postern! This place is not too far off from buford highway and is a great spot for coffee/tea. This place is spacious, modern, clean, and has unique offerings - such as the Korean Palmer that I got! I'm not big on coffee so it was great that they had non-coffee options. This drink was refreshing and I loved that you could taste the barley tea. Service was friendly, prompt, and helpful with all the questions that I asked! There's plenty of parking and there's options to sit inside or outside. Would definitely recommend checking this place out! Note that you won't be able to see Postern from the street, as they share a space with Minhwa Spirits. Just trust your GPS or look for Minhwa Spirit signage.

Super cute aesthetic spot to grab a drink, catch up with friends, or to get some work done! The staff is so friendly and helpful, and all the flavors of the drinks are unique and rich. They also had free cookies in the display case at checkout for soft opening, and I thought that was such a nice extra touch. I believe they have partnered with other bakers now so I'm excited to go back and try those items. Will definitely be frequenting Postern as my new go-to coffee shop!

Great NEW coffee shop in doraville!! Very homey interior with nice seating outside! Come warm your mouth and soul as the weather gets colder. I love the wood with green accent color aesthetics. Great location next to the lumen apartments and close to the highway! (But without the noise) I tried the Johan Vergara pour over (a bit fruity and aromatics!) Good seating area in the back (with outlets!) to do work, contemplate life, study, or just hang! Service was friendly, personable, and deliberate. Will be back again!!

Went on Sunday and was able to park in front of the apartments. The space is nicely decorated with lots of seating inside and outside (with heat lamps). This would be a great place to hang out with friends, study, or work remotely from. I was excited to try the signature drinks but both unfortunately did not live up to the expectation. The Korean Palmer tasted like lemonade but couldn't taste the lavender and vanilla infused barley tea. The Coconut Ube Latte had an interesting mix of flavors. There was a slight Ube aftertaste but the drink overall tasted bitter.

I stumbled upon the soft opening of this new coffee shop and was impressed by its offerings. The highlights for me were the flavors inspired by the Asian diaspora as envisioned by the passionate staff. I tried the hi-five cafe latte, which blends brown sugar syrup, clove, and star anise--a creative twist on five-spice powder that was both familiar and complementary to espresso. The microfoam had the right texture and consistency--kudos to the barista on the KVDW Slim Jim! The ambiance is well-suited for spending time with friends or getting work done. Parking is easy. Looking forward to exploring more of the menu and taking one of their signature roasts home.

There's lots of seating outside and inside but def a cute quiet place to have coffee, read or work. I only tried the muffin and chocolate chip cookie and both were soo good! The customer service is great as well! The young lady in the front was very friendly and polite! I will definitely be back to visit!

Love this Asian fusion unique coffee shop with great vibes. I tried the Bogard as a latte and it was great. Definitely had to stir it and it was a little sweeter than I wanted, but great otherwise. The seats are super comfortable and there's lots of seating outside. I want to come back and try the food and other drinks. Not much else in the area.

Amazing coffee at Postern today, part of the shared space business at Minhwa Spirits. The coffee menu is amazing, and they're happy to adapt ingredients. My friend had a "Dirty Matcha" with espresso added to her Matcha Chai. The Coconut Ube Latte was fantastic. Enjoy the outdoor space - kid and dog friendly! Order from the Ganji dining menu while you're there. Super friendly staff and an amazing space.

Asian inspired coffee flavors, such as; pandan, ube, star anise, Korean Palmer, and soy sauce caramel. Coffee beans are for sale online and in store. Wonderful outdoor seating area overlooking their beautiful mural. Plentiful free parking in new shopping center.

I LOVED the drinks at Postern. There is so much creativity and play in the drinks themselves. I love the warm and spicy flavor combinations, especially when I got the chubun, which is espresso with persimmon jam, topped with mitsugaru cold foam and cinnamon. The persimmon jam really brought out the brightness from the smooth espresso, and the cinnamon gave a little kick in the end. I love the tasting experience from both of the drinks. I'd love to come back and try more! I also love the vibes inside. It's chill and modern and spacious. I did some work there, and it's definitely a great spot with lots of natural lighting.

Loved the coconut ube latte! Such a unique flavor. The vanilla pandan flavoring is more subtle than I would like. I prefer Cafe 104's pandan latte. The coffee itself is really good. Cute cafe space with indoor and outdoor seating. Music isn't too loud. I like that you can also get food from Ganji.

Echoing fellow Yelpers: great coffee shop with lots of bright space to meet up with friends, study, work, whatever you want (without being disruptive to other patrons and staff, of course). My husband and I joined the queue right before the doors yielded to waiting customers on the first day of Postern Coffee's soft opening. We didn't expect to see so many others there, but it was nice to both have the company (hubby ran into a work colleague because, hello, small world) and see that this nascent business already has a loyal following. I got the iced chai latte with oat milk (no need to delve into the details of too much dairy) and an espresso shot. He ordered the single-origin Johan Vergara. We sat down at a table in a space quickly filling up and surprisingly got our orders brought to our table in about 5 minutes. I'd been ready to let the team figure out timing kinks but they did great right from the start! We will absolutely return and are thrilled to have this coffee shop in Doraville!

When I picture the perfect coffee shop, Postern Coffee is it! My wife and I stopped by for a quick coffee date before picking up our daughter, and it was such a great experience. Right as we walked in, we were greeted with big smiles and friendly hellos. My wife isn't much of a coffee drinker (total opposite of me) and had lots of questions about decaf options, but the staff couldn't have been nicer. I got the Ube Latte, and wow--it was delicious! The space has such a good vibe too, with plenty of room to chat, study, or just relax. Highly recommend swinging by--it's everything a coffee shop should be!

I really enjoyed my matcha latte here! It was strong and not watered down at all. I also love how they have such unique sweetener flavors. I got the pandan and it was soo good! So fragrant and it tasted like a grassy vanilla (a good type of grassy) with a hint of coconut. There aren't many places that have pandan flavored items and it's even better in drink form. The space was clean and there was plenty of seating. Overall, I will definitely make this a regular spot for my matcha runs. So glad doraville is getting more spots.

Doraville is on the come up! I saw there was a new coffee shop in my neighborhood, about 3 minutes from my house. It's so cute, cozy, and very clean, with a cute outdoor patio. There's plenty of workspace, as well. I ordered a matcha latte with oat milk. I asked for a sweetener suggestion and the barista recommended the hi-five (brown sugar syrup and clove & star anise), so I added that to my latte. I hope they get pastries or breakfast items soon, that's the only thing that would make this place a 10/10.

Ordered an ice matcha latter with strawberry foam on top. It was good but a little pricy. I payed close to $10 for the drink. I also got the matcha cookie and a yuzu blueberry muffin. I enjoyed both pastries. The service was very good. The ambiance is quiet and they have lots of tables with outlets, good for getting work done.

This is a brand new coffee shop that has Asian inspired flavors! I tried the coconut ube latte and it was good. I personally would've liked a stronger ube taste. The baristas were so kind and friendly. The interior is beautiful and great if you want to study or work from home (they have outlets in the seating in the back).

I think I found my new favorite coffee shop. Drinks: I got a matcha latte and my husband got a vanilla latte. Both were perfection. Service: Super friendly and helpful. Got our drinks quickly too. The space: Tons of natural light and so spacious inside. We were able to grab a booth, which was so comfy, and I had no trouble finding an outlet. Free wifi too. Parking: Plenty of free parking in the huge lot outside. No hassle at all. 10/10 recommend. Definitely worth a visit!

By far the worst coffee shop around. The coffee is very nasty. Service is a hit or miss. Don't be fooled with the five star review cause they have friends to post those. No dark roast and anti- veteran. Stay away.
