Where to Eat Around Arizona State University

"For lowkey vibes where the food and service is always good, Postino is the kind of place to take the parents when they are in town visiting. This popular Phoenix-based Italian spot has locations throughout the Valley, and its Tempe digs are directly in the middle of ASU’s campus. Perfect for post-class drinks, post-club meeting drinks, post-exam drinks — really post-anything drinks. With an impressive wine and beer list and a wide selection of bruschetta and paninis, Postino is an easy crowd-pleaser." - Mcconnell Quinn

Girls night out! From the start to finish our service was 10/10 would recommend!! Our server Nico was on it, always making sure we were taken cared of. The Manager JR was absolutely delightful and very organized at managing his team. Food is also wonderful!!! Definitely coming back!!!!

Google
This is the 3rd Postino for me but first one that I visited in AZ. The ambience is similar to other one. The menu is the same as well. I love their happy hour drink specials. I ordered two boards. The chef special was butternut squash which was pretty good. We got free donuts for a birthday girl. Thanks for the offer. The service was good. The space filled up quickly so i assumed there would be a wait during rush hour. Check it out if you’re in the area.

Great vibe inside and out and in a scenic part of town near the mountains and churches. Sat at the bar on the patio side to take it all in! It was happy hour, so discounts on wine and beer, and Michelle recommended a gorgeous white to accompany my meal. Assorted colorful olives to start (so good!) and then the manager JR brought over a complimentary bruschetta as it’s “what they’re known for”. It was the March specialty Mexican style, and the flavors were so on point- just the right amount of spice and super fresh toppings like corn & cilantro- absolutely fabulous! The butter chicken with the marcona almonds and a lightly dressed side salad that brightened up the dish were also delicious! The food and ambience are wonderful, but the real stand out for the day was their service! JR, Chris and Michelle were friendly, attentive, clearly love what they do and are proud and passionate about the food they serve. You gotta go!

I had a client meeting with my boss in town from Los Angeles and Jax, our server was FANTASTIC! Aside from the impeccable service, Jax was funny and held his own with our playful banter like a BOSS! I've loved Postinos because... POSTINOS am-i-right?! But now... JAX just elevated the experience and I will only eat at the Tempe Annex location moving forward. YOU DO GOOD WORK JAX! 🫶🏼

Postino Annex is hands-down one of my favorite spots in Tempe. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between laid-back and stylish—whether you’re catching up with friends, going on a date, or just stopping in for a solo glass of wine, it always feels like the right place to be. Plus the daily amazing Happy Hour!!!! The food and drinks are consistently excellent (I dream about that bruschetta board), and the rotating wine list never disappoints. But what truly sets this location apart is the team—Manager Jay R and bartender Michelle are absolutely outstanding. Jay R brings such a warm, genuine presence to the space; he makes every guest feel like a VIP. Michelle is the kind of bartender you instantly adore: welcoming, attentive, and always crafting drinks with care and personality. Their hospitality makes the entire experience feel personal and memorable. Every time I visit, I leave in a better mood than I arrived—what more could you ask for? Highly recommend. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Postino Annex is a Tempe gem worth visiting again and again.

Google
Came here for a birthday dinner with friends and had a GREAT time. Not only was the food good but the service was also lovely, they helped bring out her surprise birthday cake and even played a song that we were singing without request. The vibes were also great and let me capture some great photo memories. Pleasantly suprised!

Google
I've been to a few postino's locations and this one might be my favorite. We had a group of 6 with reservations - the table they were going to seat us at seemed a bit small... As the hostess walked us towards it, they realized it and Sat us at the couch with chairs instead. It was so comfortable and we didn't feel rushed to leave at all.

Google
Very disappointing experience for a place that usually has great service. The food was great as always however the service was less than satisfactory. I sat at the bar for five minutes before the bartender Nico acknowledged me as he was too busy talking to friends at the bar and watching TV. When he finally came by he tossed a menu at me and didn’t say a word. When he came back a few minutes later he took my order and never came to check on me again to see how the food came out or if I would like a second drink.

Yelp
I had THE BEST experience here the other day! My friend and I had a reservation on Friday night, but when we arrived it still looked like there were lots of tables available for walk ins. It was a dimmer and intimate setting, with good music and chill, moody decor. There was indoor and outdoor seating. It was my first time visiting a Postinos, and our server Carrie really made me feel special when she brought out a complimentary bruschetta for us to try! I decided to try the one Cabernet Sauvignon on the menu (Centenario) and it was very easy to drink, on the lighter side. It was the red wine I was looking for and hoping for that evening. Highly recommend. We also ordered the pick 4 bruschetta board and choose the following: -a hummus option that was their special that evening. (It was good) -sweet and spicy jam and goat cheese (this was my #2) -burrata, bacon and arugula (THIS WAS MY FAVORITE) -ricotta, dates and pistachio (this was my least favorite, but still good) To go, we split the chicken and mozzarella panini on focaccia bread. It was incredible. Carrie also did an awesome job explaining the wine club they offer there. I will definitely be considering that, since the Centenario wine I tried was so good. I highly recommend this place. It was one of the best experiences I've had in a while.

Yelp
Giving 4 stars because they sat us 20 minutes before kitchen closed and still served us food so we appreciated it! Now take my review with a grain of salt as the quality of the food might've been influenced by the fact that they were closing but also I've worked in restaurants before and while the kitchen always tries to pre-close in the last 20 minutes the quality of the meal should not be any less better than usual. Anyways, the meatballs were good so no complaints there but the skewers were not good. My boyfriend who eats anything finished them but for me both the chicken and beef were undercooked. The beef was like RARE. I didn't want to be that person to complain after they already did an exception to serve us food before the kitchen closed but I knew I had to write about it here. Now the server who helped us was a nice guy but a little all over the place. We didn't have utensils on our table. It just felt like they wanted to get rid of us ASAP even tho the bar was supposed to be open for another hour after the kitchen closes. Anyways like I previously said, I'm giving 4 stars because I've had Postino's before and it was a great experience so ya but last night was not fun especially because it was Valentine's Day and we wanted a quick dinner after watching a show at the ASU Gammage.

Yelp
This is a tale of two Matties. The one at Postino Annex and the one at Perfect Pear Bistro. But first, the food at PPB was excellent. The Korean Brussels sprouts and cauliflower made my week. Incredible. The problem was...Mattie. Among the worst servers in recent memory. Hardly an opinion on food, hardly a moment for patrons in a place not particularly busy at the moment. One thing after another. I had to force myself to tip a bare minimum of 15%. To have Mattie in the front of the house is bad judgment. The next night, Mattie at PA, by way of severe contrast, was - despite a packed house - a treasure, and her tip reflected that. The food and drinks were pretty good too. PPB Mattie should job shadow PA Mattie to learn how it's done.

Yelp
Second time coming here and loved the whole experience! First off, our server was super nice and friendly and attentive. They came to check up on us multiple times, got boxes, and made sure they had the ingredients in stock before we ordered. I love that there is indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating on the patio has a great vibe with rustic lighting and heat lamps. There was plant next to me that was a little overgrown but nothing too bad I ordered the prickly pear lemonade to drink which was so good! It was pink, sweet, and sour at the same time and don't really taste like pears in a good way. To eat, I got the PREAM bowl with chicken, which had avocado, grains, a sauce, broccolini, and chicken, all of which were cooked really well and it was very tasty. The portion looks small but I ended up taking some in a box to go, so it is quite filling. We made a same-day reservation for 5:30pm on a Monday and got in with no hassle. I'd recommend coming here before sunset so you can have a great view! This location is in Tempe downtown by ASU, so there is a mix of young and older folk which is nice.

Yelp
Postino offers an inviting and beautiful atmosphere with a prime location. From the moment we walked in, the experience was seamless. We were immediately seated outside, where the shaded patio and cooling misters made for a comfortable experience, even in the heat. The ambiance is just perfect, with a laid-back yet refined vibe. The menu is thoughtfully curated, and they offer $6 glasses of wine until 5 PM--even on weekends! Nicole, our server, was outstanding--friendly, upbeat, and attentive. She greeted us within minutes and provided excellent recommendations, including the soup of the day. Her energy was a highlight, especially compared to the last place we visited (Pedal Haus), where the service wasn't quite as memorable. Nicole really elevated the entire experience. I ordered an espresso martini, which was fantastic, followed by a Ca' del Sarto Pinot Grigio, which was also great. Hands down, this was my best restaurant experience in Tempe so far. While I've enjoyed other spots in the area, Postino stands out for its stellar service, delicious drinks, and overall ambiance. Highly recommend!

Yelp
We had a fabulous girls night out. Our bartender/server Nico was absolutely amazing. Start to finish. We ordered multiple items and all were a 10/10 absolutely will be coming back. Can't wait to come back.!!!!!!

Yelp
Beautiful outdoor patio! The host, Hannah, greeted us so kindly and sat us right away on a Saturday night. Staff are super sweet. The manager, JR, came over to check on our table as well. Great drinks and prices, can't go wrong!

Yelp
I was definitely not thrilled when the place selected for a little get together was Postino Annex. The location is in the center of ASU and the menu was not appealing. However, all of that changed once we were seated. Even though we had reservations for 8, upon arrival we were told where they had planned for us would not fit or maybe we could sit in a couch area? NO! We did find a spot outside and pushed a few tables together. Actually, that location was excellent. It was a beautiful warm evening and this spot was a ways from the loud speakers so we could hear each other. The menu is different. It's not what we would have thought of for a meal but it worked. We shared bruschetta boards, a cheese plate and also ordered the italian Beef Dip plus other sandwich type items. The board was delicious as was the fondue. The beef dip with bri was excellent without the garlic aioli. One sandwich had a bunch of that and the other not so much. However, the au jus was downright cold. Didn't care for cold au jus. Had the au jus been hot, I would have said best beef dip I had ever had. After I've said all of that, would I want to go back? Definitely now that we know how to order. Service was absolutely excellent.

Yelp
Bruschetta was soggy upon arrival :"( We loved our paninis and charcuterie board though. Service was pretty slow as well, though staff was nice.

Yelp
This is our favorite Postino. We always enjoy a bite and a cocktail here after ASU events. You will need to park in the garage or on the street, and I'm not sure if there's any free parking anywhere in the area. I really like the decor at this Postino, especially the western comic book (I think coming books??) collage on the wall. There's a great patio for seating in good weather. There's a huge menu of beers and a nice selection of wines, as well as a full cocktail bar. The menu consists of a lot of appetizers, panini's, soups, and salads. We all chose three different paninis, and every one was delicious.

Yelp
Friends in town always RAVE about this place . They also run a wine deal that includes a bottle of wine and a board of bruschetta for $20, starting at 8 PM on Tuesdays. I tried the bruschetta board and it was sooo yummy ! The mozzarella tomato basil was the one that I thought was nothing crazy (it was still good). Waiter was friendly and knowledgeable, super cute ambiance inside. Good place for a date or just to catch up with some friends. :)

Yelp
So many good things to say about this place!! Outdoor patio? Check. Insane happy hour ($6 pitchers) every day (the foccacia stack)? Check. BEST avocado toast I've had in AZ thus far? Checkkk. Oh, and their Monday/Tuesday board and bottle special? Absolutely worth a visit.

Yelp
This location is tucked inside what looks like a historic building and shares a courtyard with Snooze. We joined the waitlist and were seated pretty quickly. Great menu with a lot of creative options. Love loved the skewers. The grilled cheese was a little small but tasted great. The star of the show was the bruschetta boards. Don't pass on these. My favorite was the fig with Bree. It was Friday night so there was a little wait but it was well worth it.

Yelp
My friends and I came here for dinner on a Friday evening. We made a reservation for 5:30, and our table wasn't ready until around 5:45. It's fine, it's whatever. Our server, Kennedy, was super attentive and friendly! We ordered a bunch of different drinks ranging from wine, cocktails, to ciders, and all were super delicious. I ordered the raspberry chicken salad, and other dishes were the OMG grilled cheese, two different bruschetta boards, and one of the paninis. Each dish came out quickly, albeit one by one. The raspberry chicken should really be worded differently on the menu. My dish was a small bed of lettuce with almonds on one side of the plate and a serving of chicken salad on the opposite side of the plate. On the menu, it just had the list of ingredients (not saying anything was separated). The raspberry vinaigrette on the side was very good, and at least they gave a giant serving of it. They also gave me two meager slices of hard bread, which I took one bite of and promptly never returned to it because it didn't taste like anything and was too crunchy for my liking. The chicken salad was only okay. I felt like it was mostly mayo and apple chunks, with the bits of apple being larger than the bits of chicken. I also found the overall flavor to be bit off. I feel like I could've made a better batch of chicken salad. Honestly not worth $14. My friends who ordered the bruschetta boards liked their choices except for the one that's a big mountain of diced tomatoes and greens. They said the tomatoes made the bread too soggy, which makes sense. If not for the good, attentive service, I would give this place fewer stars.

Yelp
YumYum... I found this fun little place through a conference I attended at ASU. Location is walking distance to the university with nearby parking, if needed. My group had reserved seating in the back - large table on the patio & one nearby in the restaurant. Food was served buffet style with hot appetizers, sandwiches, and desserts (giant donut holes!!). All food was fresh, with options for veg, vegan, & animal lovers. Although I didn't have anything other than hot water, the beverage selection was really good for all thirsts. Prices seemed on par for the area. Bathrooms are accessible with a code, so they were relatively cleaner than most. 2 negatives -- staff doesn't wear a uniform, so it's hard to tell a server from a guest and it took a loooong time to get a cup of hot water.

Yelp
OMG! So I'm making new friends here and got invited to meet this awesome couple at Postino Annex! I at first got lost as the GPS led me to another address that was the same address! So weird! Anyway, type in "Postino Annex" and you'll get to the correct address near ASU campus! There is parking next to the building through ASU, but there is street parking at $1.50/hour max 3 hours. Much cheaper than the ASU Fuller parking lot. They do have an outside area that has the misters but we decided to sit inside. They have happy hour from opening until 5pm everyday. Wines and pitchers of beer is $6/each daily until 5pm! Say what!?!! RIGHT! Anyway.... My friends go to another Postino near their home in Phoenix so they knew what to order! They ordered the brushetta.... This ain't no bruschetta like I've ever had (or made) OMG they have many different flavors to choose from! I'll post the photo of the menu for it. It is so good! We had the Brie Apple and Fig Spread, Prosciutto Di Parma, Fig and Mascarpone, Sweet n' Spicy Pepper Jam & Goat Cheese and Warm Artichoke Spread! Holy moly I'd order all those again! So good/ Ono! They also ordered for us to share the Raspberry Chicken and Brussels Sprouts Salads!! Both were excellent but if you make me pick I'll pick the Brussels Sprouts Salad for sure. I don't care much for Blue cheese (in the Rasberry Chicken, but you can always order it on the side) but overall i didn't totally care for Brussel Sprouts either but.... It was so good! I liked both dressings! They both have a lot of Chicken which was really flavorful! Oh and of course... service ..... Service was excellent as well! Extremely attentive servers and very helpful, thoughtful and find. I would return again for sure! Now that I'm here more often I'll definitely be back sooner than later!

Yelp
One of my favorite spots! My go-to order is their skewers and chicken panini. They offer an awesome deal of $6 beer pitchers until 5, which is hard to beat. Whether you're there for the food, the drinks, or the laid-back vibe, it always delivers a great experience.

Yelp
Food and drinks were pretty good! I also love that they had a free board promotion which I thought was really cool. The promotions were amazing for a weekday. We got seated fairly quickly and the ambiance and location was clean and tidy. The service however- was sooooooo disappointing. The server was originally pretty nice, however throughout our meal was rude and kinda condescending- it just made the experience kind of unprofessional. I kept note on how she was acting with other tables and for some reason, it seemed like she was annoyed only with my table. One word remarks, quick to walk away, not checking in with our table but with others, straight-faced like she didn't want to be there. She didn't even really give much details about the menu either. Some of staff lacked kindness and etiquette as well, it was so strange. I'd come back, if she wasn't serving my table to be honest. 2 stars for the food and location definitely!

Yelp
4.5 stars After hearing some raving reviews about Postino, our group decided to make a stop for lunch on a Friday afternoon. Initially thinking it wasn't going to be too crowded since it was a little after lunch hours on a Friday (~1:30pm) but to our surprise, there was a wait for a table. We were quoted at least 1 hour for a table for 8 but thankfully we were seated within 15 minutes on couch seating. We shared all food family style - Crispy Cauliflower ($12.95), Skewers ($14.95), Sweet Potato Wedges ($9.95), Caesar Salad ($12.50), and three assorted Bruschetta Boards ($16.95 each). Along with our food, we also ordered a few Peach Bellini's which were on happy hour for $6 each. The cauliflower came intact with a bit of a roast - really really enjoyed the sweet sultana raisins that paired flawlessly. The sweet potato wedges were just meh... I was expecting something closer to fries but there wasn't any crunch and lacked flavor. For the bruschetta board, I'm all for the burrata+bacon+arugula+tomato & salami+pesto. Though it was quite busy, our server was attentive and friendly throughout our stay. Definitely a great place to check out.

Yelp
If you didn't already know...on Mondays and Tuesdays after 8pm you can get a board and bottle for 25 bucks! Honestly such a GOOD DEAL! Today I did the half and half with the prosciutto and Brie sandwich and mixed greens salad but honestly everything is great! I love all their locations- they have great service and the atmosphere is always great.

Yelp
On Mother's I thought they would be extremely busy but it wasn't. It was very peaceful and was well served. The servers and AGM were so accommodating, friendly, and attentive. The food and drinks were fantastic! We will definitely come back. It was such a great choice for brunch on Mother's Day!

Yelp

Yelp
We came in, the restaurant was pretty full and seemed to have nothing but good vibes. About a minute into standing right at the front, the host walked up from seating a table and greeted us with a smile. We inquired about a booth, she told us that there were two tables that had a reservation and two tables available so there might be a wait. She did offer us to sit outside to eat or wait to our table so we chose that option. When the waiter arrived, I requested the blackberry Mojito I ordered last time... We went back-and-forth a couple times about whether they could make it or not. She finally went and asked the bartender/manager only to find out that they did have mint (in the kitchen) and I would be able to order the drink I requested. Not gonna lie, I was a little frustrated that she went back-and-forth with me, but it's fine lol. She made sure they were able to make it. My mom ordered the Chardonnay she wanted, we both got a bruschetta board, and the waiter chose to bring out an additional item on the house to make the experience better. It was much appreciated, and I appreciate how she handled herself after that. Thank you Nikki for your superb service and it was lovely talking to the manager Carlie (I think she said how she spelled it) As usual, OVERALL great experience at one of me and my moms favorite spots!!

Yelp
While on a touring trip to ASU, my daughter and I had late dinner at Postino. Wow, what a great place for food and drinks. Our server, Brandon was awesome, friendly, and attentive. We shared the bruschetta and classic board, and I had a glass of red blend. The food was fresh, great cheese selection, and pairings. We ended with hot coffee and donut dots served with chocolate, vanilla, and caramel sauces. The ambiance and aesthetic are relaxing. We can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Another great experience at Postino! Service was friendly as always and got sat immediately for brunch (11:30am on Thursday). We ordered three drinks: Prickly Pear Lemonade, Blackberry Smash and Classic Arnold Palmer. All three were super refreshing - perfect Summer drinks! Brunch means Bruschetta Boards!! My all time favorites are the Mushroom & Mascarpone, Smoked Salmon & Pesto and Burrata, Bacon & Tomatoes. Their seasonal choice is a Strawberry Cheesecake with Pistachios - so yummy!!
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped here for a few quick bruschetta board and some skewers before Gammage. Great location. Service was excellent especially since we were on time constraints. Berry Mascarpone was a nice addition to this month's battle.

Yelp
Loved the ambiance and all the small bites. Their Tré Cucumber cocktail was refreshing! Will definitely make this place a frequent date night.

Yelp
I went into Postino Annex today with my daughter and her friends and had the best time. The food and drinks were delicious and the service was great. I got to meet manager JR and he kindly always made sure that we were having a great time and enjoying ourselves. Such a nice experience!

Yelp
terribly rude service! waited over 40 minutes to sit outside just to be given a table inside. when we asked if we could get an outside table like we asked the hostess was extremely rude and unhelpful, when she said we couldn't do then asked if there was a different table not by the front door as we wanted more of the ambiance, she simply looked at me and asked if the table was too tall or if I wanted to be put back on the list. We decided to walk out! As I was walking back to the car saw a perfectly free table outside. and the couple who came in after us, got seated first and outside. host in the pink sweater and pig tails, needs some customer service training.

Yelp
I was walking around when I stumbled upon this place. I treated myself to a solo date, and this place is soooo cute, the ambience is so nice, it's relaxed but formal/upscale, and a good place to chill out and be present. The food and service were excellent, they let me try one of the bruschettas because I wasn't sure about how filling it would be. The panini and dessert that I got were *chefs kiss*. Will definitely be coming back here for a date and trying more of the bruschettas! :)

Yelp
We're HUGE fans of postinos! Our first date was here and we came back for our last date before we got married, hence this place is special to us The atmosphere is lively, hipster, welcoming and fun! The food is literally beyond amazing! I highly recommend the meatballs or OMG grilled cheese appetizers! For dinner - I love their salads and my husband loves their soup and sandwich combo. This past time he got a potato leek soup and it was out of this world yummy! For bruschetta - you cannot go wrong with their bruschetta. If it's your first time, ask your server and I promise you, they'll give you the best recommendations. My fav is the burrata! Also, if you're trying to keep things low carb you can get your bruschetta on a cucumber boat. I had no idea until this last time and it was awesome! For brunch - everything's good, especially the bowls! Again, you cannot go wrong. Sometimes they are small portions so I'd recommend checking out pictures of a dish before ordering. Service - always top notch! Depending on when you go, there's gonna be a wait but it's entirely worth it! The staff is helpful and if anything's wrong, they are quick to correct and address things.

Yelp
Love the food at Postino so much! Went here with my friend and we both got the half sandwich/half salads. The service was pretty slow (I believe they have a tip pooling server system where you don't technically have a designated server -not a fan and makes the service slower and less competitive). We had to flag someone down a couple times to get their attention. The food came out decently quick but my sandwich was pretty dry - normally it is not dry. Not a big enough deal to complain and still ate it all!

Yelp
I'm honestly shocked and sad to be leaving this review. I'll be leaving this for this location and the other location visited... You know those suggested tips at the end of paying via card. The ones that we all have come to just tap one of the suggested.. usually 20%.. at least for me.. Well Postinos.. their 20% is closer to like 80%.. and so on in the trickle down % options. Tonight I hit 20% and it said $20.48 .. I was like that just can't be right. My total before tip was $27 I went back and I hit the custom tip and when I typed in $7 for a tip, it said I was leaving a 7% tip. I thought maybe it was just that hand held device. Or maybe it was just a mistake. So I had my fiancé check his bank statement from the last time we went 7 days ago. Our total was $52 that night and it said the total paid was $83.. he hit the 20% on that hand held at a difficult location 7 days ago. $30 is NOT 20% of $52 Postinos suggested tips are so inaccurate I feel like it's a scam. And it's really messed up. Is that even legal lol? Most people at postinos are having drinks and with groups and might not notice this and just click 20% and sign and leave thinking they were leaving a 20% tip not an extra $20 + I know it's our responsibility to check our cards and totals but it's VERY SLIMY of postinos to be doing this. I can't be the only person who has caught this. It's pretty bold to have such an inflation on that suggested tip vs reality. I wonder if the wait staff is even getting those tips. Are they in on it.. or do they also not know and postinos is just taking it. This isn't the only place I have noticed this at before. But the last place was not even close to this far off.. I'm sad to leave a bad review because I love postinos, the food, the service. It's one of my favorite places. But I had to leave this review so other people can be aware to double check what you are tipping when you close out. And I can't leave a 5 star review with a pretty shitty thing being the topic of the review. :/ sad Postinos.

Yelp
Love Postino! A great restaurant with delicious appetizers, drinks, and a nice environment. I highly recommend the bruschetta board for its various yummy options!

Yelp
I have never had a bad experience at this Postino! Their board and bottle nights are the best deal in Tempe. After 8 pm you can get a bruschetta board and a bottle of wine for only $25, such an amazing deal whether you are sharing with friends or have it all to yourself. The staff and atmosphere is so hard to beat, with outdoor couches and seating as well as garage doors that open to the inside there really is not a bad seat in the restaurant! They also offer $6 pitchers of beers and ciders before 5 pm everyday, it is always such a fun spot to go hang out with your friends and relax! The prosciutto and brie sandwich with the strawberry chicken salad is a must if you visit Postino!

Yelp
Always enjoy myself at Postinos! It was my 2nd time to this Tempe ASU vibe location..,.,super fun and reminiscent of my days at ASU, although none of this was here during my years as a sun devil Our server was great... she even convinced me to try the sweet n spicy pepper jam and goat cheese bruschetta!!! Would have never tried it because I do not like spicy foods but I love goat cheese and she was right....not spicy at all and super Yumm!! Although it was HH so wine by the glass was only $6, I opted for the bottle of Perfekt reisling because it's a better deal at $24 and if you don't finish it, they cork it for you to take home!

Yelp
I have always loved and raved about Postino's. Been to multiple locations and have never been disappointed until now. Got dinner to go tonight (via DoorDash) and this is what our OMG grilled cheese and soup looked like... a tiny blob of cheese (when it's supposed to be 3-4 different cheeses) and a couple of crumbles of bacon. The tomato soup was 1/4 of the tiny to-go cup, full. We ordered two of these and a bruschetta board of 4 different kinds. The board was okay at best. But for $75, this was the biggest waste of money I've ever spent on a meal. I'm extremely understanding when it comes to restaurants and DoorDash meals. But this made us absolutely furious. I will never go back to this Tempe, College Ave location ever again.

Yelp
We came for board and bottle around 8:30, we ended up having to wait 45 minutes but I think that's pretty normal, they were pretty packed. We ordered bruschetta, two were the apple and fig, one with prosciutto, and one jam and goat cheese. The apple and fig are one of my favorites so we always get it when we come. I can't remember the wine we got but it tasted very refreshing! Our waiter also gave us free doughnuts :)

Yelp
Super great spot in the heart of ASU campus. Walked right in snagged two seats at the bar on a Wed night - graduation week and STILL no problems getting right in. Bruschetta platter with four diff topping combinations. EPIC! Two rounds of a white blend and Sauvignon Blanc, my hubby's fav. Very well balanced attention at the bar from multiple staff members checking in on food and drink refills. Indoor and outdoor seating so the ambiance is perfect no matter where you choose to sit. This is one of my best friend's fav local spots she has to hit every time she visits her soon-to-be-ASU graduate here in a few hours. I can see why. We, too, will be back!

Yelp
Walked over from our hotel and caught the last minutes of the Friday happy hour. The bartender was kind enough to give us the special though we just missed the deadline. Got a mini-pitcher (2.5 beers) for only $6. Within five minutes of our fifteen minute wait for a table our number was called. We got a nice shady patio table amongst all of the college students doing the happy hour scene. We ordered prosciutto & brie panni - excellent with the fig jam. We also split the Chef's Charcuterie board which was loaded with three meats, a couple cheeses, whipped feta, spicy almonds, etc. Delicious. Everything came out quickly. This was plenty of food for the two of us. We were stuffed. Service was friendly and helpful. Fun vibe on campus.

Yelp
Had lunch here a couple Fridays ago, and the food was delicious per usual! Our party got a variety of different items off the menu, and all thoroughly enjoyed it. I love to indulge in the bruschetta board as it never disappoints. I also ventured and got a prosciutto and Brie half sandwich for the first time & loved it! It won't be my last time ordering that. Salad was the only thing that was mediocre but I still would get this same order over and over again. 5/5 :-)

Yelp
I wish i could i could put negative stars. I ordered a pick up and it took 30 mins after it said it was going to be ready and while i was there nobody apologized or made sure it was getting made. My drink was filled 3/4 of the way, i was given no utensils or napkins for a to go order and my salad and sandwhich were made slopily and had barely any meat. The sandwhich was flat and salad portion was not what i paid for. On top of that the workers were rude while i was very respectful and understanding of the wait.

Yelp
A nice small place to hangout near downtown Tempe in the middle of ASU. They have indoor seating but most sit outside on their patio. It's a small menu but all of the food hits the spot. They have different specials throughout the week like Flat bread and a bottle of wine for $25. The Chicken Mozzarella sandwich was excellent. Others like the flat bread but it's not my thing. The wait staff are super nice but they range from prefect timing to a little slow. If you're not in a hurry it's a great gathering place to have a glass of wine or a beer and chill after work or school.

Yelp
Blaklie was so attentive and read my mind and was ready with drink or food before I knew I needed it. She is a superstar. Thanks for such great service. Food is always good , This was a real treat. Thanks Blaklie! Aunt Dot

Yelp
My friend and I came in on Sunday night for dinner and the food was great, we always love a good board! Nicki was one of our servers and she was so great, super attentive, and I would honestly come back just to hang out with her!

Yelp
My wife and I are frequent visitors to the Kierland Postinos, where we've consistently had great food and excellent service. Naturally, we were excited to visit the Tempe location after watching a play at Gammage theater. Unfortunately, our experience at the Tempe location was one of the worst we've had at any restaurant, let alone at Postinos. We arrived about 40 minutes before closing and were greeted with very average service. After being seated, we ordered quickly, but things went downhill from there. First, the French onion soup we've come to love was served ice cold--a sign of what was to come. Next, the bruschetta arrived, and though a few were supposed to be hot, they were also ice cold, with the bread completely untoasted. When our sandwiches came out, it only got worse. I ordered the beef dip with au jus. The sandwich had barely any meat, and the au jus was colder than our water. My "hot" sandwich was freezing cold as well. This was, by far, our worst experience at Postinos and one of the worst dining experiences we've ever had. We left incredibly disappointed, especially since we've always had great experiences at the Kierland location.
