Postino WineCafé Is Poppin’ Bottles in San Diego’s Little Italy and Del Mar - Eater San Diego

"Ready to sit on a massive patio, uncork a bottle, and munch on bruschetta? Postino WineCafé has arrived in San Diego, with two locations, to make exactly those dreams come true. The chain, which has locations in Georgia, Arizona, Texas, and Colorado in addition to California, has opened its first two shops in Little Italy, in the Kettner building, and at Del Mar’s One Paseo." - Courtney E. First time visiting this place. The atmosphere was very chill vibes. It was a nice day, so we sat outside. The food was great. We tried the build your own board. By far, my favorite combination was the French onion and the fig marscapone. We each ordered a panini, and the waiter was very helpful, suggesting which bread paired well with our choice of panini. We also shared a cesar salad: dressing tasted hade made and the shrimp were huge (worth it). Our drinks were also tasty. Highly recommend. They have a simple but tasty menu.

Google
5/5 for flavor and aesthetic but taking off points for some portion size and service. Came here for brunch and really like the aesthetic of the place. Menu was also quite creative and had a lot of good options on there. I think overall the food was quite flavorful as well but not all items were value for money. I got the bruschetta board cuz it was what we actually went for. Husband and some of our friends in love with the artichoke spread version. It was quite creamy and loaded and had a slightly tangy taste to it but I think I would have preferred it a lot more with a little bit of chilli flakes on top. My favorite was the sweet Spicy Pepper Jam with Goat Cheese. I'm a major fan of sweet and spicy flavors and this one really hit the spot. Husband also got the prosciutto + fig + mascarpone as well as the bruschetta + arugula + bacon+ tomato flavor. Those are also quite yummy. Friends tried the vegetarian ones and the corn and cotija cheese seasonal special seemed to be a hit. The table ordered some sweet potato wedges and everyone seem to enjoy them. I guess the biggest let down here was the salad. I ordered the mixed green salad with some grilled chicken on it and the portion size was extremely small! They were very little greens in that bowl and the amount of chicken was also maybe 3 oz? I feel like whenever I've added on grilled chicken to a salad at a restaurant it's usually been like 4.5oz or at least the standard 4 oz of chicken. We went to the server and asked for some extra plain Greens on the side and took them actually quite a while to get that out. Another issue with the service overall is that they took quite a long time to come to our table. After we were seated and got our waters they took a while time to come take our order. Throughout our time there as well no one came to check up on us much either. Definitely want to know that the servers were very kind and sweet though :) Same for the host!

What a fabulous place in Little Italy! Love the decor. There were nice comfortable seating inside but most people opted to be seated outdoors to enjoy our beautiful weather. We were warmly greeted by the manager at the hostess stand in arrival. Our servers were very friendly as well. Service was stellar! We came here for lunch on a weekday and there was no wait. They have a special going for $6 glasses of wine until 5pm every day. We ordered their bruschetta board of 4 bruschettas of our choosing. Since there were 3 of us in our party, we each got a board so that we could try different ones to try. I really love the mushroom+marscapone, the burrata+bacon+tomatoes, the smoked salmon+pesto, the apple+brie, and prosciutto+fig. The chefs special of goat cheese+butternut squash+pepitas was a little on the plain side. The salami+pesto was nothing special as well. The crispy cauliflower appetizer we ordered in addition was a hit as well with the yummy Romanesco sauce. To top off a great lunch, our server Sydney brought out a plate of freshly baked gooey giant chocolate chip cookies too! Thanks Postino for a delicious lunch!

This is a new spot in little italy, San Diego. Its a wine bar and a restaurant as well. We went here on a Monday night and came across a great promotion for the nigt: a wine bottle and a board for $30. Of course this might change in the future but this was an amazing deal. The atmosphere was so cute with all the lights. Waiters were every attentive and polite. You can also come here with your dog to be seated at the patio. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. I always prefer outdoor but the inside was super cute as well. The board was delicious. I am eager to try more of their food in the future for sure!

Google
The bruschetta board was awesome. Flavors were great and contrasted nicely. The cheesiness of the French onion was wonderful. All were delicious. Wine was good. The Barbera-Nebbiolo was perfect. The Cabernet Sauvignon was good but needed to open a bit.

Updated review -I recently enjoyed lunch at Little Italy with my friends and mom during happy hour, where wine and a pitcher of beer were only $6 before 5 PM. We shared a four-piece bruschetta platter, mushroom truffle fondue, roasted cauliflower, and a chicken salad. The service was excellent—my waitress Chris was especially great, even helping with our stroller and providing warm water for my mom—and we even got a freshly baked cookie. If parking is tough here, there’s another branch at One Paseo in Del Mar. Previous review- My husband and I walked by this place and wondering why we never saw it before. We decided to give it a try, and we found out that it was their opening today! The vibe and decoration is beautiful, it’s great for a date or friend’s hangout. I had a crispy cauliflower and my husband had a grilled cheese, both are nice. I think my cauliflower is more unique and delicious. I highly recommend it. Service is nice and friendly. It will be a popular spot for sure.

The Bruschetta is top notch - and a must order. service is great, and more than enjoyed the majority of the dishes I tried. Quaint spot to hang out at the bar or outside. Highly recommend regardless of if you live in the area, hanging out downtown or visiting San Diego.

Google
This is a very nice restaurant to visit. I visited with my family while we were in San Diego for the week (visiting from Delaware). We selected multiple dishes that we shared - all tasted great. I also found a new light beer that I was also able to find here where I live - Dale's Light Lager. The weather was great (as usual) where we sat outside to enjoy the sun and mild temps. Little Italy is where we always visit for amazing restaurants when we vacation in San Diego.

Yelp
The service staff here are so caring and genuine. I ordered the burrata which was delicious and I was fortunate enough to also interact with the manager who was just honestly the sweetest human being ever. Postino is lucky to have such a well-mannered and hospitable staff running this establishment. Will definitely be coming back again soon!

Yelp
Visited Postino for my birthday dinner! We surprised with a sweet happy birthday card at our table. Our serves Leo and Molly were fantastic and had great vibes. It was a chilly day so we requested to sit inside and were sat in the back area which was quiet and perfect for our group! The happy hour has great deals on drinks! We tried so much good and everything was sooo good. I think my favorite was the meatballs and the bacon bruschetta. This is a perfect place to get a drink and some appetizers!

Yelp
Service, aesthetic, vibe, music. All of it is here. Really cute and affordable spot in Little Italy if you're looking for a date night that won't break the bank but also filling. I'd imagine it's a great spot to hang at during the warmer months because of their outdoor patio. My favorite bruschetta pieces were the spicy pepper goat cheese and the bacon arugula barata. They have the most flavor and were cooked best. Some of the pieces were a little EXTRA toasty for me. They were eaten of course but they definitely had some crunch to them. I ordered the Holly's way Chardonnay and my friend ordered one of the red wines (i think the Grenache) and really enjoyed it. The Chardonnay was refreshing but more bitter than buttery. I prefer buttery but still enjoyed this one. All in all I really enjoyed my time there and the service was stellar. They even had a dj there serving up tunes all evening. Would absolutely recommend

Yelp
Such a vibe ! The history on the building is not just incorporated into the building but all the employees know the history. I am gluten intolerant and highly allergic to fig they did have a bruschetta that had figs and apple and Brie cheese. I really wanted to try it but was afraid to ask for it without figs. However the chef made me the bruschetta with substitutions for the figs and it was amazing !!!!!! Will definitely be going back.

Yelp
Words can not express how fantastic this dinner experience was. First time here and it will not be the last. Postinos staff was the friendliest. Our hostess Alessandra from the start made us feel right at home. Our table wasn't ready and she still made sure we felt comfy. Our server Mollie made sure we never went without anything. Now the food !!! I must admit to you all I had never tried bruschetta before. So tonight just being able to make my own board was exciting. I went with the artichokes spread/ burrata, bacon, arugula,tomato/sweet n spicy pepper jam and goat cheese/brie, apple fig spread. I fell in love with the artichokes and spicy pepper jam. I even order 2 extra breads!!! FANTASTIC... The skewers were also delish we dipped each bite in the Sicilian garlic yogurt. My glass of wine hit it right out of the ball park. Rarely do I find a bottle of reisling. It was PERFEKT. Lastly we ended our night with the perfect complimentary homemade chocolate chip cookie. What a perfect date night. I can not wait to come back and try their charcuterie board.

Yelp
DELICIOUSNESS (5 star) - FOOD: finger food yummy - PRICE: fair - SERVICE: excellent - AMBIANCE: dim, intimate, yet lively. Passed the vibe check! This place is going to quickly turn into a regular spot for me. It already is with some people I know. :: SIPPIES :: ALPINA JACQUERE ($12) - Savoie, France. I love me a good white from France. It's just a ME thing! Nicely crisp, light anddelicate, with a very subtle notes of fruit. This was an easy sip down - high acidity and dry. HIGHLY RECOMMEND PRICKLY PEAR LEMONADE ($5) - Prickley pear infused housemade lemonade. Sometimes you don't want too much h alcohol but you want a flavored concoction... this is in their normal drinks section (not their Mocktail section). BRUSCHETTA BOARD ($19.25) 1. SMOKED SALMON & PESTO - my favs of the four. 2. BRIE, APPLE & FIG SPREAD - pretty good but felt the Brie needed to be spreaded out to get a true taste on each bite. 3. FRESH MOZZARELLA, TOMATO & BASIL - very average but good. 4. BURRATA, BACON, ARUGULA & TOMATO - good but least favorite of the four. This board was such a steal deal in prices and worthy of sharing among the table. Each bruschetta was cut into 4 small bite size pieces. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ROASTED MUSHROOM FONDUE ($13.75) melted white cheddar, truffle, roasted crimini mushroom, focaccia crostini. Looked taste but fondue would have turned my tummy sideways. An extra order of bread was ordered to help give an idea. SWEET POTATO WEDGES ($10.50) - calabrian chile tahini, sesame seed, chive. Average! CRISPY CAULIFLOWER ($13.75) - cauliflower, sultana raisin, caper, romesco. THIS was so good. It came as a full cauliflower head but easy to break into smaller florets. The taste and flavor was fresh and tasty. HIGHLY RECOMMEND LEMON BUTTER CHICKEN ($19.75) golden pan-seared chicken, toasted almonds, lemon-caper butter sauce, petite salad. Flavorful! The chicken tasted a little salty but that was due to the capers, still very good and paired well with the salad to help breakup some flavor. HIGHLY RECOMMEND HOT DONUT DOTS ($10.00) - Housemade ricotta donut holes with salted butter chocolate, caramel and vanilla glaze dipping sauces. Very shareable and dipping it into any glaze made the donut hole giving. My favorite dip of the three would be the vanilla glaze. HIGHLY RECOMMEND I'm a fan of Postinos! And cannot wait to return for more bruschetta. Until the next review...

Yelp
So so happy to be back at postino, the bruschetta boards are so so good and the wine selection is great! Service is wonderful and so so accommodating, will always recommend postinos

Yelp
Postino has become my go to happy hour location! What a great deal $6 glasses of wine til 5pm everyday! Go ahead and take my money! With a delicious assortment of wine from Italy, France, Argentina, Chilean California you can't go wrong with a glass of wine or even cocktail! Their bruschetta boards are heavenly! I love to get the "Choose 4 to build your board". With 12 different bruschettas to choose from, you can mix and match to your heart's delight! I personally love the "Brie, apple, and fig spread", "mushroom and mascarpone", "prosciutto di Parma , fig, and mascarpone" "burrata, bacon, arugula, and tomato" and the "sweet n spicy pepper jam, goat cheese" Yes I know that's more than 4 but more to come back for! On a warm day, sitting on the patio is so nice. Watching Little Italy go by, and seeing the planes land is so fun! The service staff is knowledgeable and caring, taking the to make sure you like everything you got and if you don't, they will automatically change it and get you something new

Yelp
This place has become my new favorite hangout spot, I could spend hours yapping here and not get yelled at for being too loud. The atmosphere was so pleasant I almost forgot I was in a public place. The staff was attentive, the food was exceptional, and the prices were reasonable, which is basically the definition of perfect. The ambiance was exactly what I needed to forget my worries and eat a lot of food.

Yelp
Must try the mushroom fondue!! It was amazing! Creamy, savory, and mushrooms were cooked perfect. My grilled cheese sandwich was not as impressive. I just expected the grilled cheese to be loaded with melty cheese but honestly you could barely see any cheese when you opened it up. The Brussel sprout salad was just ok but the skewers were delicious. The staff were friendly and the service was a bit slow. We sat inside and the noise level was not bad. Overall the food was good and highly recommend coming here for the mushroom fondue.

Yelp
Holy cow I love this place SO MUCH!! It's so original and unique and you can share food with others without spending a fortune. Great date night or girls' night and their happy hour is fantastic. The "boards" have tons of variety and they have a gluten free option, and they pre-divide them in 4 pieces for easy sharing. The staff is SUPER helpful and great with accommodations for food allergies, etc. It's my new favorite place in Little Italy for something that's different and affordable!

Yelp
We went around 6:30pm. Parking was a bit difficult as we circled for 15 mins until finding a spot a few blocks over. We were soon sat outside as there is very little seating inside. Outside was a bit cold as we were not near a heat lamp. Bundle up if you plan to sit outside. We first ordered an espresso martini which was the BEST espresso martini I have ever had! We then ordered Nicks Board. It was ok, the pretzel is what really stood out! Next was tomato soup and it was really good! Very creamy. Lastly, we ordered the combo board. We picked the salami and pesto, French onion, prosciutto, and pistachio. My fav previously was pistachio but now after trying the French onion that is the winner. Service was great. I am not sure if the ingredients at this location are as fresh as the Del Mar location. I hope to try Irvine this week to compare all three locations.

Yelp
Ok loveeeeeeee this place! I've been here 3 times now and have loved each experience! Most recently, I came for the $25 board and bottle deal and it is such a steal! The wine selection is great and it's fun to chose your bruschetta each time. We sat inside and I liked the dark lighting and booth seating. During the day I would highly recommend the outside patio, it's very spacious and nice. The whole restaurant is nicely decorated and a lot bigger on the inside! Staff is great, the girls are always so gracious and sweet.

Yelp
I love this place , I have been multiple times now. Date night with my husband and baby , the bathroom has a changing table which I highly appreciate. Gone with my friend to enjoy yourselves without baby. I think the bruschetta boards are delicious and creative! Definitely enjoy the wine here love to try new ones every time. The place itself is so versatile, you got the back where it's dim and cozy, the nice bar top up front and the outside when it's a nice day out. Staff here is always amazing, from the moment you walk in until you're ready to go. Everyone working here is knowledgeable, kind and attentive what more can you want!? Highly recommend:)

Yelp
A hidden gem located a bit north from the central areas of Little Italy. We walked in for a Sunday dinner around 5pm and it was not busy, so we had our pick of tables and we opted to sit at a booth. We shared a 4-piece bruschetta board: smoked salmon and pesto, fresh mozzarella / tomato / basil, prosciutto di parma / fig / mascarpone, chef's choice (corn and cauliflower) as well as an extra add-on a la carte bruschetta (burrata / bacon / arugula / tomato). The 4-piece was $19.25 while an a la carte add-on was $5.50, which is decently priced. Portions-wise, 3-4 pieces is enough for 1 person for a satisfying meal. I particularly loved the smoked salmon and fresh mozzarella the most, but you can't really go wrong with any. If we went before 5pm, we would've gotten the $6 glasses of wines, but we weren't planning on drinking so we didn't really miss out. If I come back, I definitely want to take advantage of their bottle wine + board for $25 deal, but even at the regular prices we paid, we felt like the meal was very worth it.
google avatar

Yelp
I have been here a few times now and it never disappoints. I love the indoor seating and low light ambience. I came here most recently for the $25 bottle and board deal (after 8pm Monday and Tuesday). It's a great deal, an entire bottle of wine and four different bruschettas! The chefs choice has always been my favorite bruschetta. I also got the skewers appetizer, the yogurt dip was really good. I also love the large selection of wines. The staff is always super friendly. This is a great place for a date night or to catch up with friends!
google avatar

Connie L.

Yelp
The ambiance here is great. It's in the Little Italy area on the corner with a great heated patio area. We sampled four of the panini's and they were all great. The bruschetta however was out of this world! I would definitely go again! The staff was very friendly.

Yelp
Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 During our trip to San Diego I was looking for a little appetizer spot in little Italy and I'm so glad I found this spot! We came in the early evening on a weekday and were seated right away but this place looks like it could fill up really fast later in the day / on a weekend. Their menu has a little bit of everything and one of their most popular picks are their bruschetta boards where you can choose 4 different flavours from a long list of veggie and non-veg options. We also got some wine and a burratta dish and everything was delicious! Their service is also super helpful with suggesting different food and wine options and the space is nice with both inside and outside options. I'd definitely recommend this spot!
google avatar

Tina D.

Yelp
Food: Our group of 5 ordered 3 sets of the bruschetta boards, one of each flavor (12 total). The first waitress we had ended up putting it in wrong and we got duplicates, but this was quickly fixed by our second waitress! Also asked for bread to be sliced in five but that request was not completed until the second waitress fixed it as well. Service: this is where our group was so confused, we had like 4 different waitresses come up to and ask us the same questions. My friend's wine order was placed incorrectly the first time, but was also fixed by the second waitress. My friend was also told she would be getting two samples so she could decide between the wine, but that was also forgotten. Ambiance: loved the vibes and the decor, you could also see the planes landing! Could definitely use some more communication to us such as rereading our orders or even just between the staff themselves. Overall, thank you the waitress with short blond hair & in a leather jacket, you made our night!!

Yelp
First but not last time at Postino's in San Diego's Little Italy! In all honesty, I only went for the $25 bottle & board deal on Mondays & Tuesdays after 8 pm because DUH but would love to go back and try some of their other dishes as well. With the $25 bottle and board you get a pick-your-own 4 bruschetta toasts with a select menu! I loved their brie and apple, their elote corn, and the warm artichoke spread- my favs. The wine was pretty descent too, again a select menu for the bottle & board special so obviously not their top wines. A great deal to share with friends, or on a date! You get a bit of everything! Our waitress at the Little Italy location was not the nicest, but she may have just been having an off day. The patio was beautiful and in the heart of Italy, it's a great location.
google avatar

Sarah L.

Yelp
They have really great happy hour deals as well as a late night deal after 8pm on Monday and Tuesdays. A board + bottle for $25! Perfect for a casual wine night with girlfriends. I got the board which allows you to choose 4 types of bruschetta. I got the ricotta pistachio date, warm artichoke spread, apple Brie fig jam, and tomato bacon burrata one! To our surprise, our favorite was the warm artichoke spread. It was savory and delicious! The board was pretty filling for 2.

Yelp
Wow! I loved this place! We went at 4:30pm on a Saturday. The restaurant and patio were full, luckily we had a reservation! They have$6 glasses of wine and $6 pitchers of beer until 5pm every day! They have a nice selection of wine, too. I had the Holly's Way Chardonnay and it was buttery and delicious! And what a bargain! Our group of 4 shared several different plates: crispy cauliflower- delicious! I thought it would be pieces of fried cauliflower, it wasn't. It was a whole cauliflower with a delicious romesco sauce, roasted mushroom fondue-delicious, but would have like the fondue to be a little thicker, sweet potato wedges-portion was a bit skimpy but the sauce was delicious. We shared one bruschetta board with four different kinds: Brie, apple and fig, French onion, mushroom and mascarpone and the chef's choice which was diced butternut squash, pepitas and some kind of cheese (can't remember). We shared hot donut dots for dessert. Yummy, served with 3 sauces: chocolate, vanilla glaze and caramel. Everything was excellent! Service was great! Unfortunately I didn't have a chance to take many pictures.

Yelp
If you're looking for a unique date night spot, or even for a girls night out, look no further! My friends and I celebrated galentine's dinner together and were completely in awe. Delicious cocktails, solid wine choices, and lots of shareable bites. I highly recommend ordering a bruschetta board! There were 5 of us, and we ordered 4 apps and 2 bruschetta boards. We were so full and everything was reasonably priced, which is difficult to find nowadays! Our server was a sweetheart and gave us the best recommendations. Can't wait to plan our next girls night here!
google avatar

Omar D.

Yelp
It is more like 4.5 stars. The place is well decorated , the waitresses are really nice and service was great. The bruschetta board is good, but the bread was bit too crunchy. They have a good variety of beers, wines and cocktails. And the steak and chicken skewers were delicious. Will be back!

Evie O.

Yelp
We came to Postino's for our friend's birthday dinner, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! The food was amazing--we ordered multiple bruschettas to share, including the Brie, Apple & Fig, Fresh Mozzarella, Burrata, Bacon & Arugula, and every single bite was delicious. We also had the hummus board, which was beyond flavorful and beautifully presented. The service was just as impressive as the food. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and we even had the pleasure of meeting Chef Carlos, who came to our table to check in on us. That personal touch made the night even more special. Huge thank you to Chef Carlos and the entire team for making our dining experience so wonderful. We'll definitely be back soon! Highly recommend!

Yelp
This is a fun little spot in little Italy for happy hour! They have $6 glasses of wine with a good range of reds, whites, etc and they sell all the wines in the store. There's no food happy hour prices as of yet, but for $19 you can get a bruschetta board with 4 different toasts you can choose from. We got the fig/mascarpone/prosciutto, chilli jam/goat cheese, bacon/tomato/burrata, and artichoke. Each bruschetta is cut into fours making it easy to share and the portion size is perfect. I really enjoyed the chilli jam and goat cheese! We also got a side of the sweet potato wedges which were large and nice to share. The service was excellent and we had multiple people come to check on us and give us wine recommendations. The interior is large and they also have a nice patio. I would definitely recommend for a happy hour spot!
google avatar

Paige N.

Yelp
The service was excellent, however the food was not. We got a couple bruschetta boards and the toasted bread was crumbly and hard as a rock. I could tell the bread was poor quality, lacked a chew and nice crust. The spreads on top were OK, some of the flavor combos just didn't work well. The Cesar salad was good and my friend liked the tomato soup. The donut dessert was only OK-- the chocolate dipping sauce tasted cheap. Fun place to hang out with friends but the food was disappointing so I probably won't be back.

Yelp
So glad they have a Postino in sd. It's fitting to be in little Italy. I've been to the Irvine location. I love that they have happy hour every day until 5pm. They are known for the bruschetta boards. I love that they are bite size and shareable. My only complaint was that the toast was a little too toasty. It was hard and hurting the roof of my mouth but other than that it tasted good. My favorite was the Prosciutto fig, and the tomato bacon, it was so refreshing.
google avatar

Harinder K.

Yelp
Went on a Friday for lunch, group of 5. Service was friendly and helpful. Happy hour prices for drinks was a pleasant surprise. All food was tasty - two boards (meat/salmon choices on one, fruit/vegetables on the other); my Italian tuna melt was gooey and delicious. Great option in Little Italy!

Yelp
The answer is yes!!! What a great addition to Little Italy. I've been meaning to stop in to Postino after the craze of its opening over the summer and I'm glad I did. After a stop into the Farmer's Market we wanted a snack before dinner and of course some wine. Lucky for us, this mid-Saturday was slower and we were able to find a seat right away. $6 happy hour beer and wine before 5pm?! This could be a problem, a very very good problem :) happy to see they've acquired a liquor license and the food menu looked to have some new additions as well. Our $19 charcuterie tray was well worth it and the service was fun and friendly. Atmosphere was very chill and the music was great. Excited to stop back in for a midweek or weekend pick me up and also to hear more about their wine club. The Perkekt Riesling was an instant fav as well! Give this one a try!

Yelp
When this spot first opened I was here all of the time and then I took a little break but came back again recently and was immediately wondering why I haven't been back in so long. Now I know they are known for the bruschetta boards because they are amazing but don't forget to look at the other menu items as well because everything is so good. My friend and I shared a board but also got a cup of their soup of the moment which was potato and leeks, I loved the fresh black pepper on top. Happy hour goes on all day until 5pm I believe? With great deals on glasses of wine and even pitchers of beer. If you haven't been here you yet you must add it to your list!

Yelp
There is a reason why I keep coming back to this place-- food, vibes, and WINE are immaculate ! First off, the happy hour deal is AMAZEBALLS . Who says no to $6 drinks ?! I love the fact that both wine and beers are honored with this special . I believe its everyday before 5pm . Secondly, the food is soooo good . I love that the bruschetta boards are served shared and there's a variety to choose from ! You honestly can't go wrong with any of them-- my personal faves are bacon burrata and mushroom marscapone ! They also have limited edition ones every month for battle of the bruschettas-- this month I tried the French onion and I hopeee it wins and stays on the menu ! (Honorable mentions-- omg grilled cheese is a guilty pleasure, charcuterie board is fun to share and snack on, and the meatballs are a savory bite!) Thirdly, the vibes are everything . Its super clean, customer service is inviting, and the outdoor seating in Little Italy is my calling . Overall, this is a SOLID . Every time I come back, I try something new and it never disappoints . Please don't ever leave lol-- I've been non-stop bringing all my family and friends here for happy hour (:

Yelp
I'm so glad that I tried out this restaurant. I liked the charcuterie boards so much that I visited twice in a week. I had a great time and left with a happy belly. My friends and I ordered three boards from choose 4 list. My top favorites are: Burrata, Bacon, Arugula & Tomato Mexican Street Corn Prociutto Di Parma, Fig & Mascarpone I enjoyed them very much with a glass of moscato. I also ordered Chicken & Mozzarella Panini and Creamy cauliflower soup. They were ok. I'll stick with the boards next time. To wrap up our dinner, our friendly waitress Courtney brought over donuts on the house, which was much appreciated. What a sweet gesture. I went back again for happy hour when a glass of wine or a pitcher of beer is only $6! It's rare to find a restaurant that offers HH even on weekends. I loved the atmosphere and the sunset view from the patio.

Yelp
Went for happy hour on a Friday. It was definitely already crowded at 4pm, but it was also still fairly new when we went. We were able to grab stools at the bar and were greeted right away. The bartender asked if we had been there before, and since not, he gave us a brief run down. I started with an orange wine, and my husband with their happy hour pitcher, which is the size of 2 beers. We signed up for their email list, which gets you a free bruschetta board - such a great deal. We also ordered the skewers off the snack menu. Everything looks so fun when they bring it out, but I would have to say everything we ate was just ok. I know it's a chain establishment, but I was hoping it wouldn't taste like a chain. Overall though, the staff was all super friendly, it has a cute corner location, and they have great deals. I don't know that I would come during regular price time, but I would definitely come back for happy hour or the board and bottle deal Monday/Tuesday. It's a great bang for your buck.

Yelp
I enjoyed the Brussels Sprout Salad for lunch from Postino for $15 and an iced tea for a slightly steep $4.50. The salad was wonderful, but a little undersized for $15. The mix of brussels spouts and kale was great. They were both very fresh. The spicy marcona almond and bacon both gave the salad not only great flavor but great texture as well. I enjoyed the manchego cheese and dried cranberries very much in the salad, but what really stood out as whole was the lemon manchego dressing that offered outstanding flavors. The salad is gluten-free. The service was good, but I did not get a refill on my iced tea. I figured at almost $5 for a glass, they would be one.

Yelp
So I have been to Postinos a lot in Phoenix. It's one of my favorite locations. Which is why I choose it for my birthday party. Tried to make online reservations for 6. Nothing open, but when I called they were helpful and pleasant. Hostess that sat us was super awesome. Friendly, knowledgeable Services: Our 1st waitress was Darian. Omgosh AMAZING. We had people in our party that had alternative diets. She was so knowledgeable and helpful. She found out it was my birthday and sent out 2 appetizers on the house while we waited for everyone to arrive. At so point they changed her section and we got a new waitress. Not sure of her name as she didn't give it. And we only saw her when we called her over. We suddenly had to Flagg someone down for water refills, ice, drink refills. Food: we had meatballs-delicious, cauliflower- delicious 2 full boards- street corn was my fav. But old classic of any ple and brea was good too. Skewers- delicious hummus board- really good salmon board- really good. Drinks: I had the prickly pear mescal margarita- not my thing but my friend loved it. The watermelon Bellini that was awesome and fun The 1st waitress told us about limoncello but the 2nd said they didn't have it. She went to ask and the 1st waitress brought it out. My friends had several tastings of various wines and several glasses and all enjoyed them Overall it was a wonderful night made great by my company. My friends had brought a cake that they called ahead to ask about. When it was time for dessert, the cake was brought in the box, no plates, no silverware, no candles lit. Was really difficult to light the candles outside. For the amount of money we spent serves could have been a little nicer. I wish we could have kept Darian because she really gave that Postino's service I've experienced for the last 15 years in Phoenix.

Yelp
I think there's a lot going on for Postino which makes it a cute little spot. First of all, the patio accepts dogs which was clutch when I was walking by with him and was in need of a restaurant that accepts dogs, has decent food, and I could escape the heat for 30 minutes. Second of all, the wine list is pretty good. It was 11am when I first went but that's always a perfect time for a drink! I also came back at night and had a beer. The server mentioned to me that their cocktail licenses is coming soon, by fall 2024. So its a reason to come back when they get that. Thirdly, the people were super friendly. Every server that walked by said hi. Maybe because I had a dog, or maybe they are just that friendly. I like to think it's the latter. The vibe is pretty good. Their location is at the corner of a one way and a deadend with a parking garage. So there's not a lot of traffic. There's low lighting on the patio and heaters for the chillier nights. Their food options varied. Some things looked reasonable priced like their Bruschetta Board which was equally delicious but then they have a grilled cheese for $15 which is a little steep for two ingredients in my opinon. I also had the Half Panini + Half Salad combo for 20 dollars which was okay. Nothing too special but got the job done since I wasn't terribly hungry at night. I also got the charcuterie board. It was good enough for two people who are snacks but not hungry. But if you're hungry then I'd suggest something else on the menu. 4 stars because the wine list was good and the Bruscheta Board was a hit. I'd suggest coming during Happy Hour which is daily and lasts until 5 PM for $6 glasses of wine and $6 pitchers of beer. Or I'd go Monday or Tuesday after 8pm to score a board of bruschetta and a bottle of wine for $25.

Yelp
Didn't even know this place existed! It's on the other side of the busier little Italy street. I was able to find street parking not far from it so that's a plus. They have indoor and outdoor space, very slick and chic decor. We were there as soon as they opened on a weekend and by the time we were leaving, it got very busy. We both got bruschetta boards. I've got Brie apple and fig, fresh mozzarella, salami and prosciutto. I have noticed that they use fig on a lot of their menu. Not a fan, but it is what it is. I thought they were gonna be small bites but they were big. Definitely would've been able to share it with two people. All of the bruschetta we've had tasted fresh, and loved the combinations. Service was alright, not that memorable but not bad. I think it's a great place for a date, girls day, or whatever occasion you want it to be.

Yelp
Came for a girls night dinner and had a great time. We ordered a whole bunch and left very satisfied. Service and ambiance were wonderful-- I find it hard to find all the above in San Diego so was pleasantly surprised. Here's what we had: (5/5) mushroom fondue: a must have-- the focaccia is amazing and the truffle and mushroom are *chefs kiss* (4/5) Cheese plate: was wonderful and well portioned. Ricotta was OK (4/5) Our bruschetta choices were the artichoke, Brie & apple, mushroom, pepper jelly. The mushroom was the star of the show. Artichoke and Brie in close second. Pepper jelly was ok. (4/5) Brussels salad: was a little misleading bc there were Brussels in it but it was really a kale salad. Delicious though! Just raw Brussels are not for me unless they're shaved (5/5) Save room for dessert- the cookie Sunday is wonderful. will definitely be returning to this new little Italy spot. BTW there is some kind of special on Monday, Tuesday; bottle of vino + bruschetta!

Yelp
Great place to come and enjoy lunch with a glass of wine. They offer super great deals during the day and the food is amazing. Service is excellent and the waiters had great recommendations. Overall cute spot and will be back.

Yelp
Great wine and good food. Definitely go during happy hour as well where all of their wines are $6. We came on a Monday night around 5 and it wasn't busy at all. They told us it actually gets busier at 8pm because they have a board and bottle deal for $25. They let us sample a few wines before we committed and I loved the Pinot noir. We also got a board with the chefs choice (brussel sprouts and romesco), the off menu vegan option with hummus and tomatoes, the smoked salmon and pesto and finally the fig, Brie and apple. They were all so good I really can't pick a favorite. Service was a little slow right when we got there as it took 10 min for someone to stop by but then it was like the flood gates opened and we were constantly checked on. Almost too much. But we'd rather have that for sure. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Came here for dinner around 6:30pm on a Wednesday and was seated right away at a high top table. Perfect for a cute date night or catch up with friends. We ordered several things: Crispy Cauliflower ($16)- this was sooooo good! such good flavor and perfectly cooked. Also a good size. Grilled Cheese ($18)- This grilled cheese was also so good. The tomato soup dipping sauce was the perfect addition. Highly recommend. Bruschetta Board ($22.25)- I love how if you order a board you can mix and match 4 different bruschettas. They have so many different kinds! We got the brie/apple/fig, prosciutto/fig, burrata/bacon/arugula, ricotta/dates/pisatchio. The favorites were the burrata one and prosciutto one. Great for sharing. Also got some wine that was good. Overall, great experience and loved the food! Can't wait to come back.

Yelp
Service was good, our server tried his best to make sure we had a good time. The food however didn't live up to our expectations. My bruschetta was dry, my wife Cesar was so bland. Maybe that's to be expected with a restaurant chain. Their wine list is extensive to be fair.

Yelp
TL;DR: best deals for bites and bottles! Got 2 bruschetta deals: my favorites were the smoked salmon and pesto followed by the apple and brie. I really enjoyed all the different flavor combos. We also got the brussel sprouts salad which was super savory - such a nice change of pace from the normal fruity/citrus/sweet salads They have a happy hour every day from 11-5 and a board and bottle for $25 every Monday and Tuesday after 8p Really love the vibe and ambience. Our server Darian was the best - super attentive and helpful with our orders We'll definitely be back soon! Cheers, Postino!

Yelp
Our second time back to this joint, and it did not disappoint! Sat at the bar and selected from several local beers while my bride had a wine recommended by our server... Started out with an antipasto platter and finished with a selection of bruschetta..and all was great! Ambiance is hip cava, service was friendly and helpful, and prices are in line with the locale. We've been here twice, and this is quickly becoming a go-to... this joint makes the list!

Yelp
Went to Postino's with my partner for a yelp elite event! We found parking fairly easily and when we arrived at the restaurant we were greeted by the host right away. The host stand stood out to me because it looked like an old cigarette vending machine which is pretty cool. The inside of the restaurant looked cute and they have their own unique style of decorations. It was a nice day so we sat in the outdoor seating area. Service was great and they were very attentive. We ordered the bruschetta and it was well worth it! -Burrata, bacon, arugula & tomato bruschetta was 8/10. -Mexican street corn bruschetta (6.5/10) -Prosciutto di parma fig &mascarpone bruschetta (9/10) -Sweet n" spicy pepper jam & goat cheese (8/10) Presentation for all (10/10) It's a cute spot to take friends or a significant other. Would recommend!

Yelp
We did opt for the patio, which was perfect, taking other yelpers advice to avoid the sun. Food: excellent, I had the Brussels sprouts salad and half Veggie Panini on Ciabatta (Which actually the portions were such that only one would have been fine) To drink I had an amazing zero proof Rosè, which usually the zero alcohol wines taste like straight up grape juice, this one, no. Leave it up to a wine bar to find the most delicious 'taste alike'. Serious doppleganger, I had to double check. So happy with it. Also my friend got a PITCHER of mango cart beer for $6! They were slammed, so service was better than I expected though. Postino you are a gem, thank you for coming to Little Italy.

Yelp
I'm not big on Bruschetta boards at all, but Postino has changed my mind a bit. We got the Prosciutto di Parma, Fig & Mascarpone, Smoked Salmon & Pesto , and the Sweet N' Spicy Pepper Jam & Goat Cheese with a side of the Meatballs & Goat Cheese. It was so good! The ambiance inside felt a bit classy but not too formal. This would be a great place for a date night or to grab Bruschetta boards and wine with some friends. Our server was friendly and helpful. Parking was difficult to find, as is expected for any business in Little Italy. Finding street parking will most likely take some time and parking in lots seems to be pricey. Overall, a great restaurant, would definitely recommend!
