We made a reservation for Sunday at 11:30 AM. It wasn't busy, and we were greeted right away. The host was friendly, and we were seated quickly. The restaurant had lots of colorful, decorative art on the walls, which added to the atmosphere. Our server was great--super friendly and easy to talk to. He even shared that he was planning a cruise, though I can't remember his name. Ross? Super chill, had excellent recommendations and was very knowledgeable.
For drinks, my wife ordered the white peach bellini. It wasn't overly sweet--just a nice balance of flavors with prosecco and peach purée. I went for the Real Ale IPA, and they had $6 pitchers on Sundays, which worked out to about three pints--definitely a better deal than the bottled beers, which were mostly $7. They had a good selection of draft beers available for the $6 pitcher deal, maybe 7 or 8 options, if not more.
For food, we ordered the Tuscan Grilled Tuna Sandwich with a side of romaine, the Italian Beef Panini with potato soup and tater tots, and the Beef and Chicken Skewers. The Tuscan Tuna Sandwich had pickles and tasted like a more refined, "grown-up" version of a classic tuna sandwich--warm, flavorful, and not too fishy. The Italian Beef was tender and juicy, served with au jus that wasn't overly salty, making it perfect for dipping. The skewers were well-seasoned and moist, not dry at all. They came with a Greek yogurt sauce that was fresh, tangy, and creamy, with hints of dill--an excellent pairing. The tater tots were next-level--super crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and not greasy. They came with a sauce that had a little spice to it, adding a nice kick.
Overall, it was an excellent experience. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was great, and the music wasn't too loud. We'll definitely be back--next time, we're trying the bruschetta!
