"This Indian bakery-cafe is in between spaces right now, as the owners look for a new location to reopen. But for Diwali, Pot Bharoon created gulab jamun as cupcakes and cheesecakes, which people can order via Instagram for pick up in Johns Creek." - Nandita Godbole

I LOVE IT HERE! This is the best Indian restaurant in buford, great food, and wonderfully family owned! My love for Indian food has blossomed exponentially because of them. From all the places I've been to, this is best and most authentic! Everything here is delicious and well diverse for different spice tolerance. I'm eating here at least once a month and definitely coming on the weekends for their specials! Finally Buford has a the best Indian food!

If you're in the mood for delicious Indian food that will transport your taste buds straight to the streets of Mumbai or the alleys of Hyderabad , then you simply must try this restaurant. From the moment you step in, the aromas of authentic Indian spices will have you salivating in anticipation. The menu boasts a wide range of dishes, from classic curries to regional specialties, all of which are prepared with the freshest ingredients and a careful attention to detail. The service is attentive and friendly, with staff happy to offer recommendations and advice on the best dishes to try. The chicken biryani is a must-try, with fragrant basmati rice cooked to perfection and topped with tender meat. The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and welcoming, with comfortable seating and tasteful decor. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner for two or a fun night out with friends, this restaurant is the perfect choice. Overall, I highly recommend this Indian restaurant to anyone looking for an unforgettable culinary experience. The food, service, and ambiance are all top-notch, making this restaurant a true gem in the city's dining scene. Thank you Sarika for making Buford a better place !!

Google
I had really high hopes for this restaurant as I am always looking for authentic Indian food in the Suwanee / Burford area. Generally the food was good and had decent taste. However my Byriani was coldish and I know I heard a microwave oven in the back heating up what was likely refrigerated food. There were two pieces of chicken in the rice which were tender and flavorful but cold in the middle. The butter chicken was tasty but super spicy for my wife's taste. The owner was super nice and very helpful and I can see she is really trying. I think with a few small changes this could be a great local find but for now it is three stars for me.

We went there for lunch, we have ordered Veg Manchuria, Chicken Manchuria, Wings, Masala Fries, and Fried rice. All items are ok could have made it better. Prices are also high for quantity provided.

Halal I ordered the chicken fried rice and chili chicken. Good customer service with good Indo-Chinese options. I haven't tried the Indian menu yet but I'm sure it's just as good. I usually have to travel 15+ miles for good halal food but I'm glad to have found this halal spot which is less than 5 miles away from home! Give them a try

If you haven’t tried this placed then you’re definitely missing out delicious fusion food with good price. Owner/manager is so welcoming and friendly. They got all our food out but were still making tea, owner came out and informed us that they’re preparing it. Their Ras malai cupcake was just amazing and it was freshhh (not shown). Would definitely go again. And highly highly recommend this place. 😊

Google
Truly exceptional Indian fusion food! The service is better than most high-class restaurants, and you're almost guaranteed a lovely conversation with the owners every visit. The atmosphere is jovial, casual, modern, warm, and inviting. The samosas have a spicy, unique flair that keeps you wanting more. The butter chicken and paneer butter masala are killer, and of course, the jasmine rice and paratha bread are just icing on the cake. Speaking of cake, the owner designs and makes the most exquisite, luxurious, special-occasion cakes as well. We will be visiting again and again for the comfort found in this delightful food.

Yelp
Our family had a nice evening here. It's a cute place. We have tried many Indian restaurants but not one with Goan flavor. It was unique. Everything was good and we will be back.

Yelp
We went to this restaurant on Saturday evening. The owner-chef and her husband were working. Had a nice conversation with the husband who was taking orders and serving the patrons. We ordered samosa, fried rice and chilli chicken combo. Chilli chicken gravy had a lot of onion that was over cooked. Fried rice was decent. Food was good but a bit on the oily side. Quantity was adequate. I also ordered a Falooda boba which was delicious. Based on their Facebook profile, the chef is really famous for her cakes with Indian flavors. Overall, the restaurant has a lot of room to grow and hopefully it will do so coz the owners are sincere and passionate!

Yelp
This place is awesome! I love their indian decor and the owners are so nice. I tried a Rasmali Milk tea with boba as well as their Falooda Milk Tea which comes with basil seeds (and boba also if you want it). Both tasted so great. The rasmali has more of a chai taste with a subtle rasmali taste. Their masala fries are good too! I want to try their other dishes too eventually. They usually have rasmali cupcakes too but they were out when we went so I am excited to try those. The owner was telling me they are going to have karaoke nights and Goa-food nights as well so I am excited to see this place grow!

Yelp
I wanted to give 5 stars for this place because it's soo close to my home which I wanted to visit frequently. I did a to go order in the restaurant and lady said it takes 30 minutes, but I ended up waiting 1 hour. I told them I had ice cream in my car and the owner did offer to put the ice cream in the freezer, so I did appreciate that. There was a big party when I placed my order so I understand things aren't perfect, but as a customer it's somewhat an unpleasant experience for a 30 min order to take 1 hour. When I got home (3 min), the chicken briyani rice was cold. I'm not sure if people eat this cold but mine was cold.

Yelp
came across an enticing Tik Tok about Indian boba tea-located in my neck of the woods-so ofcourse I had to venture out with my coworker during our lunch break today to check it out and it did not disappoint... the ras malai bobatea was so fragrant (crushed elachi) and yummy -the delicate black tapioca pearls were sweetened to perfection. the masala fries were seasoned with just the right amount of heat and their in house spicy mayo was the ideal accompaniment. the chicken panini was filled with succulent chicken, fresh mint chutney and crunchy slices of capsicum...flavor profiling perfection. the paintings-all done by the owner's daughter-were mesmerizing along with the retro bollywood movie poster wall and quirky decor. there's even a shelf filled with all kinds of games-Taboo and Yahtzee just to name a couple of them. 10/10 recommend that you run not walk over there.

Yelp
I have been craving Goan or Malvani food for a long time. I know Goan and Malvani food is exactly not same, but they are very close in taste, texture, and use of ingredients. Finally, a fabulous restaurant that can satisfy my craving whenever I have one. Pot Bharoon is a cafe and bakery, but their food is equally good. We tried their Goan Shrimp Curry (comes with rice), Chicken Xacuti (comes with rice), Malaysian paratha, Fish fry, Sol Kadi, and Paneer Bruschetta. We went there on the eve of their 1st anniversary, so they served veg samosas as complimentary. All the dishes were made to order, so it takes time to prepare by the chef. Every dish reminded me of back home. The shrimp curry was the star of the day; everyone at the table was fighting for it. Chicken Xacuti was exceptionally well cooked, and the chicken pieces were soft and tender. Malaysian paratha was okayish for me because I typically prefer Bhakri or chapatti with it. But the curries went equally well with the paratha. Fish fry was fried with rava, which is typically done on India's west coast. Samosa was the second most popular dish on the table. I ordered one more shrimp curry and two samosas as takeout. Sol kadi tasted well. The only complaint I had with Sol kadi was it wasn't cold. I prefer cold as it enhances the taste (my personal opinion). Paneer bruschetta was equally delicious. All in all, the food was 10/5. As for the service, the guy Bhagath at the counter was polite and considerate, we took our time to order, and he was patient with us. He also went beyond to check if the chef could make the Sol kadi (Sol kadi was missing from the menu). The chef/owner Sarika came out to check on us, how we were doing, and what brought us there. She was polite and very kind in explaining her background and passion for food. Once the food was out, she revisited us to check if everything was okay and if everything was as to our liking. I only felt they could have proper plates instead of our paper plates, but this is minor stuff one can ignore if the food is so great. You will have plenty of parking space. The ambiance was also good. Food - 10/5 Service - 5/5 Parking - 5/5 Ambiance - 5/5

Yelp
I checked in about a week ago and was told they would be adding Butter Chicken and other items within the following week. Today, I walked and in and asked for Butter Chicken. Even though it is not listed on their menu, she said she would prepare it fresh. 10 minutes later, I had a piping hot portion of creamy Butter Chicken with a side of rice. Yum! The quality of the chicken was very good. Nice, all-white meat yet still juicy. I paid somewhere around $16 for the meal and a fountain drink. They're planning a happy hour for Wednesdays and Thursdays, 10% off (I believe). All in all, I'm excited to see what other options they add to their menu. The owner informed me they would eventually add other curries and possibly even a tandoori. I even learned one of my favorite dishes (Vindaloo) originates where she is from, Goa. As of now, this is the definitely the best option for Indian food in Buford. I will be back for sure!

Yelp
We went on a Sunday evening for dinner. The food was served quickly and was good. We ordered a tea, and actual tea leaves are used. The folks there were super friendly and helped in choosing menu items for us. The music was great but the rest of the atmosphere was a bit cafeteria feeling. However, disposable plates and plastic utensils.

Yelp
We happened to be in the area and saw the grand opening sign. I am usually skeptical about trying new places, but we decided to give it a try. We received a very warm welcome by the owner. Had such a pleasing interior. The cafe was packed with people but we still received excellent service. I usually don't go out of my way to write reviews but after this experience I had to. They were running the opening weekend menu, but according to the owner, they are planning to add Goan (from Goa) speciality dishes soon. The food was phenomenal. SO full of flavor. Every single dish we ordered had an element of surprise and unique twist to it. These are the food items we ordered. Samosas: Loved these - They are otherworldly here. The flavors were nuanced. Panini: This is by far the best panini I have ever had! Period. Highly recommend it! Tandoori Wings: Delicious! I definitely see myself having these again especially watching games with a pint of beer. Desserts (Rasmalai Cupcake): This was recommended by the lady taking our order and boy oh boy she was not messing around. The cupcake just melted in our mouth. Super Delicious! I can't wait to have more next time. Apparently, they also take custom cake orders and offer catering services. Definitely coming back here again. 5 stars highly recommend!

Yelp
Lovely place with lovely staff. It is family owned and you can feel the love in the attention they give and the food as well. The food was incredible. I have not tasted anything like it. The price is more than fair for what you get I cannot recommend it enough.

Yelp
My friends and I came here after seeing it on social media, and it was amazing. It's family owned, so the service is super personal and welcoming. The interior has booths that feel very private, and the ambience is amazing- there are plants and paintings that really add to the cafe. I got the masala fries and rasmalai milk tea- super affordable and great seasoning on the fries! Would recommend even if you are new to Indian food! ps. confirm that the address is on Buford highway when you are filing in the directions, the address might be incorrect on google maps!

Yelp
The butter chicken had like 5 tiny pieces of chicken and it tasted like plastic. We threw it away immediately. Rice was undercooked in the fried rice. Was really hoping to enjoy this spot but I do not recommend it at all

Yelp
Amazing customer service. Also had creative and delicious food the best Indian food I have ever had. I am a picky eater but still loved.

Yelp
I was so excited to come to this place. I drove all the way to Buford because I really wanted the rasmalai milk tea. But when I got there, they didn't have it, and the boba they served me was not very good. The inside of the restaurant looks great but I really wish they had the drinks and food they advertised. It would have saved me a trip. Really disappointed honestly
