I've had my eye on JCHF Potato Noodles for a while, so I finally decided to check it out. I went for dinner, and the place was pretty packed, but luckily, they had bar seating--perfect for a solo diner like me. I ordered the potato noodles, which come with some standard toppings, but I added meat and spam to mine. I also got the QQ chicken bones that everyone seems to rave about, and the fusun spicy mix (not knowing what it was).
The fusun spicy mix was an interesting combo of veggies in a sauce that was sweet, salty, spicy, and sour all at once. The QQ chicken bones were like fried chicken with bones still in--it was sweeter than savory, and I wasn't sure if I was supposed to eat the bones or not. I'm not sure why it's so hyped; maybe some people just like gnawing on bones?
The potato noodles came in a huge pot with a generous portion. The broth was a bit mild, but the noodles were definitely the highlight--bouncy and chewy, just right.
Overall, it was a good experience. I enjoyed most of it, but if I came back, I'd probably just stick with the potato noodles. The other dishes weren't really my thing, but the noodles were excellent.
