This is the Second time I have ordered a salad within two months time, and it has come out with hardly any lettuce. Not to mention in the special instructions, I had asked for a full salad to which there’s more toppings than anything, and I had asked for balsamic to which I received two servings of ranch dressing I thought by spelling out the instructions that I would actually get a full salad, but obviously people do not know how to read at this location. I Absolutely refuse to purchase another salad here which it’s just toppings there is no lettuce. Service was good. The girl that was working behind the counter was very friendly and efficient. Too bad the staff making the meals is not.

I purchased 2 full Apple Walnut Salads. I got home and opened them up and saw that both containers were half full. I paid $10 each for these salads and I’m going to have to combine them in order for it to become a full salad. I’m so disappointed. Never again.

I purchased a chicken club sandwich yesterday morning and when I went to eat my sandwich, I was going to put the hot peppers on the sandwich and found a screw! It is absolutely ridiculous that this was not caught not only at the prep station but at the topping station. This is just insane. On top of it all, the manager only refunded one sandwich that was purchased and not my whole order. WILL NOT be ever returning to any Potbelly location. Check your sandwich before you eat it if you are going to go to Potbelly.

The staff here are always super nice. And usually pretty quick. Every now and then you might have a person that is slow,,,but it's been a very long time since then. I think Most of the ones that couldn't hang are no longer there or are on a shift where it's not as busy. They're always so pleasant and helpful. It is sad that the prices went up quit a bit but that's everywhere nowadays. When I work late and don't want to cook dinner And I don't want garbage fast food Pot Belly's is my go to.

Ordered online and my order wasn’t ready and had a bit of a wait. The staff was very attentive and polite. I understood it was prime lunch time so I was patient. They were nice enough to give me a large drink cup while I waited. After waiting for about five minutes a second employee came to check on my order and confirmed the other employee was working on it. Seemed like the team worked well together and made sure I felt seen while I waited. They even threw in a cookie for the wait. Super kind of them!

The workers I hope are better than this, I placed an order yesterday July 2 I asked for the chocolate brownie cookies they gave me the wrong ones which is what they commonly do when they don’t have your cookie and I really love potbelly I was just so frustrated and called and asked why not just tell the customer and let them make that choice the manager then made the statement that there was a new person and they must have misread and i understood, however I was really disappointed my child is sick and just really loved the cookies the manager offered three free cookies an extra one for the frustration for the two cookies I hadn’t received, do you know the manager lied? I told you all I love potbelly I reordered again today explained to the vet polite young lady the situation and whatnot was promised and she only gave me one cookie which is fine but my original order was two but I was just thankful she was kind enough to give me the one, she told me the manager never left a message or anything and lied about giving me the free three cookies, honeslty if I could go elsewhere I would but I love the cookies and my baby does to but I’m just so disappointed After looking deeper in my bag the polite young lady I spoke in my review about earlier gave me the two free cookies i just couldn’t find it nothing further is needed if anything is offered it will be declined whomever she was thank you your a great person

Usually pretty good. BUT I shouldn't be waiting 23 minutes for a sandwich only because I order on the app. The point of mobile order is to NOT wait in line. Spot in line is taken when order is submitted. 13 minute later than the quotes time is not acceptable.

Stood there with 10 minutes and employee wouldn’t take my order. He was too busy organizing sheets of foil. He asked if I was a pick up order but I wasn’t. Do you have to order ahead here to get a sandwich? I won’t be returning. He was a bearded, heavy set man. Not saying that to discriminate, just trying to describe him since I didn’t get his name. I went next door instead.

I blame management for what has to be the worst Potbelly location I've ever experienced. I've been here twice now, both visits after 5 PM, and both times were absolutely terrible. On both occasions, I stood in the store for over 10 minutes before ANY employee even acknowledged my presence. When they finally did take my order, they made the wrong sandwich despite my clear instructions. The staff doesn't smile, seems completely disengaged, and I'm pretty sure they overcharged me. To top it off, the soda machine was broken during my second visit - which I might excuse if everything else wasn't already falling apart. I've been to many Potbelly locations and they're usually great, but this one is a complete disaster. The lack of basic customer service, attention to detail, and management oversight is appalling. Save yourself the frustration and go literally anywhere else. Management: your evening staff needs serious training or replacement. This location is damaging the Potbelly brand.

This particular day, I just wanted something a little different than what I usually get to eat for lunch. I had never been to Potbelly, and so I said why not try this place. When going in, the restaurant was clean and it looked like a nice place to have lunch. When I got into the restaurant, there was one customer who looked like they were paying, and there were three workers behind the counter. I walked in looking a bit confused because I was try to find the menu. I realized that the other two workers were just looking at me and not acknowledging me. That was a big turn off for me. Next, I figured out what I wanted to order, and I'm standing at the counter, and the gentleman standing right next to the bread says absolutely nothing to me. I then proceeded to say, can I order here, and then he takes my order. That is not ok with me because that just shows the lack of customer service and professionalism in this establishment. I ordered the Original Chicken Club, and it was made really well. My sandwich was hot, the flavors were great, and it was toasted to perfection! I also got a bag of bbq chips and a chocolate cookie. And I was not mad at the price at all! I would definitely come back for the food, but I really believe that the customer service outweighs the food. If I have excellent customer service, my food experience will be great as well. I only wanted to give two stars, but since the food was good, I gave three.

The steak sandwich was terrible. 95% of the steak was scrap stuff that people throw away, that can't be chewed (see some in the pic). That was at 9:00 pm on Wednesday the 17th.

Typically this place is solid except for maybe the long lines but today was an exception. There was no line but when we went to order sandwiches I noticed mold on the bread in front of me. I ordered my sandwich and tried to point it out to the girl at the counter. Instead of saying thanks for pointing it out I was scolded for touching a bag. I tried to explain my side but she wanted none of that and just left the moldy bread for all to see. I am no expert but mold on bread in a plastic sealed bag is not a good sign. Beware.

This is my favorite Potbelly restaurant. Bri, Micheal and the whole weekday morning/afternoon crew rock. The bread and veggies are is always fresh. I always get the same sandwich Veggie melt toasted twice and they know how I like it. That crew is always smiling and brings the best to their customers. I visited the Navy Pier location over the weekend, I would give it 1star for food only customers service was horrible. This is my Potbelly home in Munster

I ordered an original pizza melt and given a skinny. I informed the manager Ramon that this sandwich is the wrong size , he said the all come out different. He showed me the bread for the original bread and my sandwich was half the size. Then he said what do want me to do. This is the second time I had a bad experience at this location.

I used to come here all the time and I thought the chicken was more fresh now it looks like deli meat and just has a weird texture to it. I won't be coming back again but service was good for what they have.

Always a go-to quick lunch option. Staff is always friendly and professional, lots of seating (even with COVID), clean, and the food is great too. HAVE to try the chicken pot pie soup! Air Force approved!!

I have gone to this potbelly multiple times and by far this has been the worst experience. The Bread was soggy like it had been out for a long time. I found a red hair in my sandwich. The whole sandwich was a mess and falling apart. I called to complain and they said they were going to refund me the money for the mistake and it was never done. Always check your food before eating it.

I am so sick and tired of the manager "Sally" that works at the Potbelly's in Munster. She talks to people like there incompetent, I have been there multiple times, and she always is either rude to her customers or rude to her staff, and at this point I am fed up about it. There has been multiple times I have been in there where she either is showing poor customer service skills, Super disrespectful to her employees or when she just acts like she hates her job. The first problem that happened was when my mom ordered a sandwich and it was literally thrown together, to the point it wasn't edible, I called up there to ask if I could bring the sandwich back to have it remade, and she told me NO, but if I wanted to try and get a percentage off my next sandwich I should go feel out something online and it would be sent to us via "mail". I didn't ever ask for our money back, I just wanted my mom's sandwich remade. The second incident was when I went in and asked for Half a sandwich half a salad. I almost ask for the same salad and the same sandwich every time I am there. I always ask for a half Wreck sandwich with a half a wreck salad. Yes I am aware NOW that you all don't do a wreck salad as One of the options. Which I understand maybe it was a miscommunication somewhere along the lines, but I have been doing that for over a year. She then asked me was I confused in locations, which to me is questioning my intelligence, considering the fact this is the only potbelly I go to. It wasn't just what she said but really how she said it. Then I asked one of her staff members (literally the same person that made my order the day before) and before she could talk back, Sally spoke up for her saying " No, No, No, No we have never done that". Then I go in there today, and order a full wreck sandwich and a full wreck salad, and she still goes out her way to tell her staff members to make sure that is a full sandwich and a full salad when I didn't even order a half and half since the previous situation of her telling me very rudely that they don't do that. And I'm really just sick and tired of her rudeness.

I ordered a chicken Mediterranean Sandwich and I got hummus and chicken on it. It was a pick up order so I did not watch the employee make it. Where were the roasted red peppers and artichokes? I like this sandwich but from this experience, I think I would only order it if I was there to ensure they made it correctly.

My Dad is in the hospital and the food is the worst--expensive and not at all tasty....kindve like the Cuban at this location. I asked for extra cheese. Nope. The sandwich was supposed to come with pickles. They ran out. Actually they did not. They gave me a quarter wedge of one of their big pickles. They couldn't slice it. A cup of soup, a sandwich, avocado, a drink, and a dream bar--$18. Yeah, thanks but no thanks...never again.

Been going to Potbellys for years now. Saw this new one in Munster and thought we'd give it a try. Did not disappoint. Tasty sandwiches and tasty soup. Very clean & well lit environment. Friendly staff. Not much more to say. We will be back :0)

Terrible customer service and delivery process. I placed an order for delivery. I was given a 12:50pm est delivery time. I called at 1:50pm inquiring about the status of my delivery I was informed my order was out for delivery and they would give the grubHub driver a call. I called back at 2:26pm to check the status of my deliver. I was told the order wasn't placed, a manager had to look up the receipt and call a grubHub driver out. Called back at 3:26pm to cancel my order to be told my order was picked up from 10 minutes prior and was on its way. It's 3:46pm we will see if the order ever arrives.

Every time we go to this location, the food is ok but the teen employees who work there in the afternoon are more interested in talking to their friends than in listening to customers or even communicating with each other to get an order correct. You're at work. Please act like it.

So.... going to the Munster In. location, I had ordered a kids meal, and when going to pay for this I mistakenly noticed that I had brought the wrong amount of money! I told the girls that I was sorry but to please keep this order on the side and that I work just right down the street from their location and will be right back to get more money because I left my entire purse at the office! The girls at the register basically said "go ahead and take it" "its no problem" "just.. if I could leave us a good review" which I am doing. Thank you girls, you saved me an inconvenience of going and coming back with a 30min lunch break. You ROCK!!!!

The 3 women at the front that took care of my order where smiling, happy, & very nice. I asked if the marinara had meat in it because i dont eat meat. She answered me and said "let me switch gloves for you since you dont eat meat". I didnt even ask her to. The 2nd lady was super sweet and made her job fun and made me laugh. The cashier offered me a bag and was very nice. I loved my experience there!!
