Google
guys. for airport food this is insane value. why are the ratings so low. BTW pretty sure this is in terminal B (that’s where I got it as of dec 10), but incredibly reasonable prices for a hefty sandwich. $11.65 for a generous portion of protein and u get unlimited toppings????? and it moves super fast. and it’s always toasted. i am shocked that i got this at an airport. this is just their original classic or whatever, with “the works”. yum!!!

Google
This Potbelly is located right in the terminal B near gate 12. Full service sandwich restaurant with all different choices. I went with the Italian on white and hot peppers. Very delicious sandwich. They also offered different flavors of potato chips and various drinks.

Google
Mediterranean sub, excellent toasted bread, flavorful mix, slightly spicy added spark. I'd order again.

Google
This was my first visit to the Potbelly shop, and I gotta say, the customer service was wicked good. The staff offered me two sandwiches instead of one big one for the same price, gave me a bunch of veggie options, and they were absolutely delicious!

Google
Had a great experience this trip through BOS. The turkey and Swiss was very good. It was as toasted to perfection! So much better than a subway, but what isn't? Now I came through there last year and wanted a shake, only to find out they didn't have any.

Google
They stated they only have a large size, shouldn’t they cut the bread to the size you choose? The woman who added my toppings seemed aggravated. When I went to pay the guy tried to charge me 32 dollars and some change for 1 sandwich. I warn others watch what they charge you before swiping or tapping your card.

Google
The food is fine. 1 star because the employee accepting orders was extremely rude. My patronage was clearly a nuisance and inconvenience for her. When I approached the counter asking if I am was at the right location to place order, a simple yes would suffice, instead her snarky remark of "read the sign" was completely unnecessary.

Google
The price was half of the adjacent shop; the breakfast selections were nice and i went with mishrooms & ham; the add-ons were all fresh and interesting [Italian seasoning!]; toasted a bit so the cheese melted. All good!

Yelp
During our short layover, I brought my BF over to Potbelly, the sandwich shop I used to frequent on my flights out of BOS. I must've been romanticizing my experiences here because my sandwich didn't hit the way it once did. I ordered an Avo Turkey on white bread with onion & pickles, & bf had the A Wreck, made with four different meats. Our meal was good (& definitely far superior than airplane food), but I remember it being better. Order at one end where the meats & cheeses on your sandwich are toasted; afterwards, choose your cold toppings (i.e. lettuce, tomato, etc); & finally, order drinks & chips (they carry Zapp's & Utz) with the cashier. No seating at this particular Potbelly, but it was easy enough to find empty seats at a nearby gate.

Yelp
Trust me I should have given a one star. Me and my brother were just trying to order milkshakes and we went to pay for them, but they said they didn't have strawberry or chocolate. Which is fine but we didn't order chocolate, we ordered strawberry and Oreo. But my mom had called us back to our gate, so I apologized and told my brother we had to go. Later we came back asking what kind of milkshakes they had. He said no chocolate or strawberry, I then asked for 2 Oreo milkshakes but he kept repeating the same thing. Then he told me I had given him an attitude and he was gonna call state police on me. Like I know if I treated my customers like that at my job I'd be fired.

Yelp
First visit to terminal C, and wanted quick cheap lunch. Meatball on wheat - they put meatballs all across the wheat bun, generous addition of sauce, provolone, and a trip through the heat. Added tomato, onion and pickle (dill). Decent sandwich and filling.

Yelp
The business responded with their typical generic bot response asking to contact them and discuss the issues we had with this Potbelly location at the airport. The issues were listed in the Yelp review!! Stop talking and avoiding the problems of poor customer service that customers consistently state as needing to be addressed and start doing something to fix the problem, which are your employees who do not give a crap!!

Yelp
The ladies that made my sandwich were courteous but the cashier treated me like I was lying to her that I ordered on the app (mind you, she did this while standing behind the QR code for the app) to suggest we order online. She grabbed my phone. Then went through her receipt trash to find it. The sandwich girls made my sandwich while she did this... The cashier just wasn't paying attention to the print. Then she acted rudely about it. Why two stars? I'm thinking it's a Boston thing. It's definitely an airport thing.

Yelp
Potbelly's is hands down my favorite chain sandwich shop. They're wreck is my typical but really I've never had a bad sandwich here. Also they have great soups. Service is always fast and friendly

Mark S.

Yelp
On a 10 scale, I'd give the food a 2 and the service a 3. Next time I'll get a bag of popcorn and a water at Hudson News. Fail.

Charlie W.

Yelp
Tried the chicken salad salad as a healthy low carb option for lunch. Unfortunately, the produce quality was fair at best with brown lettuce mix and cucumbers that looked that they had been partially frozen. The chicken salad was pretty dry but flavorful. Loved the cranberries! I have to say the staff were very pleasant which is rare in an airport setting.

Amy K.

Yelp
Sandwich was excellent but the service was awful and the making of the sandwich was not great. I asked for mayo, oil, and Italian seasoning and my sandwich literally had one drop of mayo because they were rushing so much. I would recommend this place if you're craving a sandwich but only if you like it dry and scratching the back of your throat.

Jason E.

Yelp
The bacon, egg and cheese sandwich really hit the spot at 5:45 AM! The staff were very friendly and did a great job. The only thing holding this back from a five star review is their inability to break a $50, small bills only. I'm sick of all of these airport vendors who have gone card only! I gave in be and paid with card; although my natural inclination was to tell them to keep it.

Joseph P.

Yelp
I went to this location the employees were very nice. The chicken grilled with bacon sandwich was good but very peppery. I don't know if it was from the bacon or chicken but it was a good sandwich. To peppery fir my wife.

Jonathan M.

Yelp
Sunday evening, June 16 at 7:30PM. Walked across the terminal to grab a bite to eat, because my wife and I were hungry. We have had mixed experiences with Potbelly in the past, but we decided to give them a try. Plus, the other options were either closed or not very appealing. Upon reaching the restaurant at 7:50PM (10 minutes before the listed closing time), we were disappointed to be turned away by the two ladies working behind the counter. They said the restaurant was closed, which is at conflict with the online schedule. We did not challenge them, because they would be preparing our food; however, they clearly were tired of working and wanted to go home. I get it. But they are being paid to serve customers until 8PM. I could say more, won't. Other than there is usually a reason people in food service work in food service.

Yelp
I decided to write this review in hopes that management would see it and consider a refreshing of training/in-services for this location. I bought a sandwich to take on my flight (it was tasty - I chose Potbelly for that reason; I like it) and while everyone was courteous and helpful, I noticed some sanitary and food safety concerns (I'm a dietitian and have been trained in food service preparation and safety). When trays of bacon were taken out of the oven/cooking space, someone drained them into the hand washing sink- just speechless. Both a risk for food safety, and keeps anyone from using the sink for its intended use (no one that came off of their break or used their phone washed their hands, or changed gloves - best case scenario is hand washing and then glove change, and there should be a glove change at minimum). Another move that wasn't great was someone using an open box of gloves as a hand rest while they texted/were on their phone - that's a fantastic way to cross-contaminate food from dirty hands and objects (phone and anything the phone has touched). Again, food was fine, but I hope some updates to training result from someone in charge seeing this review. Cheers!

Yelp
Horrendous Typical airport location customer service - none. Line was 10+ people long but the supervisor just stood there idly manning the cash register. Really, nothing you can do to help? At one point he left the store entirely for 5+ minutes. Bathroom break? Who knows. Other 2 employees working hard but not in any rush. Out of at least 4 menu items but waited until people ordered to tell anyone. After waiting 15 minutes just to order they screwed up my sandwich and had to make it again. At least they didn't put me at the back of the line. The final club sandwich was merely okay with fairly limp bacon detracting greatly from the experience.

Tara W.

Yelp
Out of everything. Charged full price for sandwich with meat and bread. Took forever. .

Matt C.

Yelp
I have NEVER had such horrible customer service experience before in my life. I order food from this lady that ignored me then all she eventually said was "what you want?" When I go to pay the guy said "only cash" I said "excuse me?" He said "she has told everyone cash so you trying to pay with card proves to me you're lying so take the fucking sandwich." I said absolutely not and he took the sandwich and threw it! I'm still in shock that someone would ever talk to a customer that way and call them a liar in front of everyone when I did absolutely nothing wrong. The man should be fired.

John S.

Yelp
Potbelly runs a promotion. If you download the app then you get a free sandwich. However, the cashier didn't tell me that it's only good for a regular. I ordered a regular and a large. I paid for the regular but the promotion didn't work for the large so I ended up paying for both. The worker was kind enough to reverse the charge for the regular sandwich. 5 stars!

Joe K.

Yelp
Potbelly's are a good option for me, a mostly plant based eater that travels extensively. When I find one in an airport like Boston Logan, even early in the morning I'll stop in and get something for later. Fortunately you can order lunch for breakfast here as I choose not to eat the normal breakfast offerings being WFPB. I got the mediterranean wrap and loaded it up with veggies and the delicious hot pickles. I like the hot pickles, just the right amount of kick and flavor without being too hot. It was quickly assembled and off I went. The service was good and I won't hesitate to stop in here again.

Yelp
Despite the rating, I gave this place a try. It was near our gate and I really wanted to try it. There was no line, the place looked clean and fully stocked with chips, drinks and cookies. We walked up and we were helped right away. I tried the original Italian and my fiancée ordered the original Wreck. We picked all veggies as our toppings after it was toasted. I paired the Italian with Voodoo heat chips and my other half chose the Salt and Vinegar. The cookies were hard to pass up because they fresh and soft in the middle with a nice light crisp on the edges. We picked the chocolate brownie cookie and I would do it again! We enjoyed our meal and visit! I provided a high rating to out weigh the low.

Cindi W.

Yelp
The product is good...and the staff was moving quick. But it appears they could use a little more coaching? I tried to order two sandwiches. Asked if she had chicken salad. She said yes, but didn't tell me there was cheese on it. Got a bit hot when I told her I didn't want cheese I just asked for chicken salad? Second sandwich, would have liked the thinner bread option, but was rushed off before I could say a thing. Someone's online order was MIA. And so on... it's great to see they seem to have a full crew when everyone's short handed, but they seem to be lacking leadership and organization....

Chip H.

Yelp
Started to order a "wreck" which is my standard sandwich at Potbelly....was told we only have ham. They had run out of meat at 3 in the afternoon. I said fine, I'll take a milkshake...well guess what?? They were out of milkshakes too. Horrible service, the staff definitely has an attitude!

Matt P.

Yelp
I got the upgraded size Italian sandwich, where more meat is added. This was surprisingly large for a little over $10, making it one of the better deals compared to most airport rip-off prices. The shredded lettuce and the tomatoes were fresh, the meat was hearty, and the toasted bread nice and crispy. I would order it again or try another one of Potbelly's options before or after my next flight from Boston.

Jason M.

Yelp
Literally out of everything every single day. American terminal at Logan. No avocados lettuce tomatoes onions shakes salads or cookies. Wanna buy some bread? You've come to the right place

Roman S.

Yelp
I love their sandwiches, but unfortunately their employees do not care. On Tuesday September 6th at 4:50 we went to get a sandwich before our plane was due to board and the employees closed early.

Linda S.

Yelp
No sausage, no bacon, no mushroom at 8AM in the morning. Okay fine, these things happen. But then they refused to substitute avocado for free (even though the add-on value for avocado is the same as the add-on value for meat, and the only reason for the substitution is because they are out of meat). And they were out of regular-sized sandwich bread and employees were too lazy to cut the large size into two pieces. All of this incompetence would be excusable, if the employees were kind and apologetic about it. Instead when I asked about the possibility of a substitution, they kept repeating themselves in a stern, aggressive and honestly incredibly rude way, as if I were making a demand, when I was just asking a question and I was super polite the whole time (because I had plenty of time before my flight and there was no line at this store and plenty of other food options at other stores). This will probably get another lame excuse from their "manager" about how they "work hard" at their "customer service." Give me a break. It's super clear that the workers here on Monday mornings literally hate the customers and hate the job. There was no line, no stress, just a lot of rude employees with horrible attitudes. Just look at all the other reviews.

Lauren D.

Yelp
Ordered a Turkey sandwich. There was too much mayo, they were out of pickles, they were out of any kind of vinaigrette, the only tomato they gave me was the part with the stem, they didn't put onions even though I asked, and also the staff seemed like they would rather be anywhere but there with their rude attitude. I should have passed on that $12 sandwich.

Julian W.

Yelp
Rude, useless employees, sandwich maker doesn't wear a mask. Out of several items, was told bluntly "we don't have that." The employees need a major attitude adjustment.

Rebecca B.

Yelp
Had an egg bacon cheese sandwich. Food was good. Staff was efficient but not friendly.

Bobby M.

Yelp
Food was not the best. Employee declined masks and sneezed without covering it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Marie L.

Yelp
Ugh...small sandwich, out of condiments out of all drinks but water. Upside, the employees were very nice. The star is for them.

Ashlyn E.

Yelp
Poor Customer service. Walked up to see if they were open and before we could even ask the worker immediately says we're closed. Tried to clarify if they would be open again and just shook her head no. Doesn't seem to enjoy her job very much.

Alice S.

Yelp
Well nowhere else was open so we went here. We came around from the back so the workers couldn't see we came up to the window. Right when we got there, one of the employees had his mask pulled down, stocking bottles, and then he sneezed!!! Not into his elbow. Really really gross. Food was average.

Carolyn P.

Yelp
This was my first time here at Potbelly. The sandwiches were great, however, the staff was extremely unpleasant and rude. They both had an attitude and were trying to rush us when there was not even a line. Very unsatisfactory experience.

Kristyn A.

Yelp
If zero stars were an option I would kindly give it. As a former crew member I've been to many establishments within an airport and this is by far one of the worst ones yet. The young lady working the register kept excusing herself to the back and coming out with her mask off. She gave us a thumbs up when cashing us out without fully giving us our order. She ignored customers and staff. They were out of several items on the menu and were completely disrespectful. Management needs to clean up their staff. Start with the cashier. For future customers head over to Kelly's across the way, they had amazing customer service.

Natalee N.

Yelp
Awful!!! Waited in line for 15 mins for them to be short with me and not tell me they are toasting my sandwich, when I tell them I didn't want my sandwich toasted, the lady just ignored me and moved on to the next customer! I am livid and very hungry considering there is nothing else open in the whole airport. Potbelly needs to learn how to train their people in customer service!

Mr B.

Yelp
Had a great ham, cheese, egg and mushroom breakfast sandwich. Plenty of contents and tasted great. Relative to their neighbors across the isle, they deserve ten stars. Stick with Potbelly's over the roast beef place across the way.

Jen A.

Yelp
HORRIBLE customer service. I asked a simple question about a menu item and was instead scolded rather than given a simple answer. It's this type of experience that leaves customers with a bad taste in their mouths. I wanted to walk away without my order I was so upset at how I was talked to. Her attitude was totally unwarranted. My food wasn't much better. Avoid this place.

Maria G.

Yelp
Website, airport website, and maps all said it opened at 5:00, so I ordered online before my flight. When I went to pick up, a worker told me they weren't opening until 6:30. Down $16 and no sandwich - make sure to check if they're open in person!

Reda D.

Yelp
Good sandwiches , terrible service , u will have to deal with people with bad attitude .

Suzie H.

Yelp
There was a Potbelly literally next to our gate at Boston Logan Airport terminal C, and we got excited when we saw the menu, after deliberating with our kids I went to order, as I got there the employee taking orders had a "I don't want to be here" face and with the same unfriendly tone she asked "what u want" so I started telling her, then she spoke over the top of me and said we only have one sandwich the Italian and that's it, then I asked her if they had any salads to what she responded no. Just to make sure I understood correctly I asked her if the Italian was all they had and she said yes, so I just said ok thank you and left. About an hour later I saw this long line of airport staff ordering food there and it made me wonder if all of them were eating the same sandwich, it could have been possible but it was odd. I was extremely disappointed not just for the bad attitude of the employee but for the poor service and unbelievable short limited menu. It would be nice if they didn't have a menu full of choices when they only have one. I went to order at Wahlburgers instead and the food was delicious plus great customer service. Avoid Potbelly if you can.
