Went in and was instantly greeted with warmth and kindness. Atmosphere was great! Food was delicious and hot! (I ordered the mamas meatball sandwich with a banana pudding shake). Pure delight.

Im new from south alabama and I got SO tired of eating the typical fast food. I wanted something new. Ive passed this place several times and never checked it out until lunch break today. OH MY HEAVENS! IT WAS SO DELICIOUS!!!! I got the Italian sandwich. Pricing seems decent; just like subway. You get to choose toppings. They have different choices. The bread tasted fresh and was toasted perfectly. The meats tasted fresh and flavorful. The gentlemen who served me, there were 3. ALL OF THEM WERE SO COURTEOUS, suggestive, and informative. You've got a new frequent sandwich flyer now! Thanks for a good lunch!!!

We stopped at Potbelly Sandwich Shop for a few sandwiches and enjoyed ourselves. The food is made to order and can be customized. The service is friendly and everything is made in front of you. The atmosphere is alright. The dining room was clean and they had a few interesting pictures on the walls. Overall it was a decent place to stop and grab dinner.

My husband and I ordered the Italian sandwich and the Wreck sandwich. Everything was great! The staff was friendly, polite and had great communication skills. Definitely a place to go for great sandwiches. We had a great dine-In experience. We'll definitely be back.

I really enjoy the food here, and usually order multiple times a month. The service has been awful, lately. I placed an online order for pick-up on Friday afternoon. Everything went through fine and they charged my card. When I arrived to pick up my order (at the scheduled time), there was a handwritten note on the door saying that they had closed. I was never notified, never got my food, and my card has not been refunded. I've called and spoken to multiple staffers, who all say they'll let the manager know or have him/her call me. Well, it's Wednesday. Nothing has been refunded, no phone call from the manager. I'm going to have to dispute this with my bank now. Ridiculous.

I haven't had a bad Sandwich yet. The macaroni is great, and the drink variations are pretty nice. I love the Italian sandwiches, and my wife finds something she likes too. Could be a *little* bigger but it fills you up. Plus, the employees are nice.

Fresh - Yes Fast - Yes Friendly - No I walked in and the two employees just blankly stared at me and didn’t greet me. The person making the sandwich asked me what I wanted to order and I told them I hadn’t been here in a long time so I need a minute to look. She just stood there and again, blankly started at me waiting for me to order. Mind you I was the only customer in the building. Instead of running me through how it works and being helpful the employees just looked agitated that I was there. Then when it came to check out, the guy helping me asked if it was for here or to go and I said for here and he said ok, to go then. Really? I don’t want to give them less than 3 stars because I don’t want to hurt their rating but I do think management needs to work on their employee performance.

Someone making one of our sandwiches cut himself, and another employee tried to finish cutting the same sandwich with the same knife and serve it to us. When we made them try to remake it no one bothered to sanitize the countertop. No one was wearing a hat or hair net there either. Service was pretty slow even before the issues. We left and went elsewhere since I didn't feel comfortable with the food safety here.

I had the prime rib steak sandwich. It lacked flavor and seasoning but they provided plenty of meat The staff is neither cordial nor rude, apathetic would be a more fitting description. This would not be a place I visited again, under any circumstances. I ate 1/4 of the sandwich and chalked the rest of up to a learning experience.

Update: awesome customer service. So friendly. Great teamwork from start to finish. Recommend the Smokestack pork and Mac as well as the barnyard. Pork and Mac is a great mix or sweet heat bbq shredded pork with creamy Mac and cheese all blended together under a toasted bun. I add lots of onions and extra bbq sauce. And of course their hot sport pepper mix. The Barnyard is a classic blend of all their meats and Swiss cheese toasted to make it all gooey and then loaded with your choice of veggies and condiment. And of course the hot pepper mix. This is the only sandwhich place I'll eat at. Half a sandwhich will fill you up. They are top notch.

This place is great! My new favorite sandwich place! Love at first bite here folks! My family and I have taken to go orders from here a few times and we absolutely love the food! The sandwiches are huge, hearty, and delectable. Bread is fresh, the ingredients are fresh... you will love these sandwiches. Potbelly, though, has other great items. My mom swears by their potato soup and mac and cheese. I need to bring them for her every-time. Their cookies... the best! I recently had a special one of dulce de leche... omg... i cant describe how good it was. It made me melt!!! Service is great! People are so friendly! Never eaten inside but i can tell you its clean and plenty of space, so you will be comfortable. I would just rather take this goodness home and eat it there. Don't know what else to say except, you all should come here!

I love this place. For those who haven't tried it, I feel bad for you, this is the best sandwich shop in Indiana. If you like sandwiches and you are tired of subway, come here!

This place is great. I have been here three times now and I love the sandwiches. I always get the Avo Turkey sandwich on white bread with all the toppings except tomato and oil (personal preference). Their hot peppers are a must try in your sandwich if you like a slight kick. The staff are all very nice and the line generally moves pretty quick. Tons of seating that's been clean every time I have come in. If you have time to stop by or need a good quality sandwich that's going to leave you feeling full and happy this is the place to go.

Unfortunately this is the only Potbelly in the Fort Wayne area. I have been here numerous times and they have unfortunately been close even though the hours of operation state that they're open. I understand that they are short staffed and it's not their fault. Recently I was able to go earlier however I had to wait over 30 minutes to get my order in with only two families ahead of me. That's just way too long for fast food. Their online ordering is also not an option so I can't even get my order in ahead of time. The inside seems like it's in disarray with boxes on the counter top. Regardless the staff is friendly I'll give them that but given the difficulty of getting a fast food quickly I think I'll pass

I ordered the BLTA. It should have bacon, lettuce, tomatoes and avocado. I did add mayo. See pics to see what I received. Very disappointed. This was my first time trying Potbelly. Not a good first impression.

This is my fav sandwich shop, not just in Fort Wayne, but the best ive ever been to. Ive lived all over the country, and Potbelly takes the cake! Not only is the food great, but the staff are the salt of the earth. All super friendly and out going, they make you feel welcome and that you belong there. I talked the the manager and he said they had a rough couple weeks from a review bomb and I just had to post a review worthy of the shop. So if you are looking for a tasty lunch, head over to Potbelly, grab a black cheery soda (glass bottle) and get the wreck ;) you wont regret it! 5/5

Nothing amazing about this place. Getting a 2-star because my coworker enjoyed her sandwich, not enough to rave about it but it was alright. I have a picture of mine below.... a meatball sub with the sauce on the side because I was getting it delivered and didn't want it to be soggy. Anyways there were more mushrooms than meat. The mushrooms are giant slices, which you might think is the meat in the pic, and the meat was smooshed up processed looking meatballs. Very disappointing and not very good. I also got broccoli soup which tasted like it was made somewhere else and dumped into a warmer from a bag. I'm glad I didn't pay for it with my own money.

Sunday afternoon at lunch time-sign on Coliseum road says, "POTBELLY OPEN" and yet the doors are locked at 12:45 pm though the lights are on. Hard to get customers inside if they can't get in.

Vegetarian options aren't great, my sandwich was really bland. My husband got one of sandwiches with meat and said his was also lacking in flavor. Honestly, I'd pick Subway over Potbelly and I don't love Subway either.

Love their sub sandwiches over so many others in town. The peppers make any selection even better! Soups are always warm and delicious too!

I finally have to say that this location just needs to go ahead and close its doors. I live 45 mins away and when I come to town from time to time I have stopped to get a sandwich. The last 4 trips they have been closed for some reason or another during prime hours. The time before that, the manager made a scene, quit, and walked out while we were eating. I understand shortages, but this location seems to always have issues. I love potbelly's, but this location misses the mark all the way around.

Place wasn't all that. I haven't been here in 4 years any way it was the first and the last time. It's not that it's really all that bad, it just isn't really all that good. Portions on the meat were poor overall compared to Firehouse. Just wasn't that good. I think I liked Quiznos better and they went out of business, on the same level as Quiznos. Anything is better than Jimmy John's. I rather eat at Potbelly over Jimmy John's maybe. Not sure though. Not bad it just didn't blow me away. McAlister's Deli did do me in. I liked em. Not bad all. decent. Potbelly will you go away?

Love their sandwiches here. They have unique chips too, Zapp's New Orleans flavors. The hot peppers are great on sandwiches too, if you like some heat.

I had a very pleasant experience at Potbelly! Stopped in over the lunch hour with a friend. It wasn't overly busy, but they had a good crowd. For those who aren't familiar, you order at the counter and then take your food to the table lunchroom style. The dining area had plenty of seating, was clean and well kept. The staff was super friendly and greeted us with a smile. Each employee down the line seemed happy to be at work, which is always refreshing! I decided to go for something lighter so I ordered the uptown salad. Everything from the spinach to the candied walnuts tasted super fresh. If you are looking for good quality but fast, check out Potbelly. I will definitely come back!

The service was great the atmosphere was perfect and the food was delicious. My sandwich had perfect presentation and was warm and toasty.

Unfortunately this location seems to have a lot of issues. Sometimes my sandwich is great, sometimes it's awful. It all depends on who is making it. That is if you can find the place open. What sandwich restaurant closes at 4pm? You never know if they'll be open no matter what time you go. I'm thinking they can't keep employees for some reason?? Other locations have been great so it's disappointing.

Ran by here for lunch--I would say it was a home run!! I ordered my sandwich and they had it prepared quickly (chicken & cheddar). They have lots of yummy additions--mayo, hot peppers, pickles, lettuce, tomato and onion, etc. My sandwich was delicious. Also very affordable--$7 for a plump sammich! They also had some delicious looking cookies at the checkout, and the cashier assured us that the cookies are "what are dreams are made of". They also have the calorie count right on the menu, which I greatly appreciated!! Would recommend!

I've been to potbelly before but I was really excited that Fort Wayne has finally got a location! This place is decorated awesome with some Fort Wayne decor with lots of windows for an open concept. There's lots of space and it doesn't seem to cramped. There's also plenty of menus for people to look at so it's not in one place. There's plenty of drink and sandwich options and even shakes and smoothies!!! The Italian sub was packed with flavor and was easy to eat. The bread is delicious. The salad seemed like it was prepackaged with almost close to frozen chicken, no complains though, I expect that at a sandwich place. The coffee shake however, made my night, so delicious Everything was made to order perfectly and we got everything fast! Can't wait to try again :)

I've been back a few times since first trying. Sandwiches are pretty consistent, I found out you can just ask for hot peppers on the side. Go for the wreck or turkey. If you have sweet tooth, skip the shakes and go for the ice cream sandwich. Two scoops smoothed between two oatmeal chocolate chip cookies for just $3! Still can't give five stars, for some reason they never have anyone on hand to check you out at the register which leaves me standing there ready to chow down, but nobody around to take my money.

Solid lunch option in FW. With live music and milkshake samples during lunch on Friday. Good soups, sandwiches and deli salads. I really like Potbelly and everything I have ever had from one has been good, but the combination of sandwiches, soups and milkshakes is just not something that draws me in.

Exited the interstate and drove 2.5 miles. Showed up a half hour before posted closing time to find doors locked.

I have gone to this Potbelly's almost weekly for the last 2 years. Fell in love with their sandwiches while at Purdue and ever since opening up here still haven't been disappointed. The Wreck is and always be my favorite. Amazing cookies and shakes. It can be hectic when they have a big order going on but what restraint wouldn't be. They are definitely worth it.

Place is bussin. Food was good, music was popping. I was a 5 dollar off coupon away from becoming a regular at this location.

I didn't feel there sandwiches were any better than Subway, Jersey Mike, Firehouse, or Penn Station. Both wall menus they had were hard to read unless you were up at the register to order. One was hidden behind a support pole near the order station and the other was blocked by a vent hood and only could be read at the order station. I feel like they need to move the one hidden behind the support pole out where customers can look it over before getting in line. Other than like I like the decorations.

We all loved our meals. Super nice staff helping us choose the best items. Clean area.

I love this little sub shop. There is just a California chill atmosphere with peace, love and subs. I got a Mediterranean sub with no feta but added chickpeas. It has hummus, red peppers and artichokes. The toppings are fresh. The service is quick and friendly. My friends got a chopped chicken salad with chicken, apples, blue cheese, walnuts, and grapes that they said was really good. It was large. On Saturdays they have an acoustic guitar guy who sings great classic rock. He's there at least until 2pm. He's really good. That's my favorite time to come.

I would go back. Environment : this place was very clean and we'll put together. It was set up very similar to most sandwhich shops. The decorations where very nice and well put together. Service: the service could have been more friendly. The employees seemdd like they were tired and one individual didn't even smile during ny stop. They were very fast and did a great job making the food, but I think they should have been more friendly. Product: the food is really good. I am vegan and they had a sandshich with hummus on it and I absolutely loved . It had really great flavor. I added avacado on it for flavor and texture.

I have now used Potbelly twice for work. The first time, I was happy and very satisfied with their performance. The second time left a bad taste in my mouth and a question as to whether I would ever be back. I called them just before noon on a Thursday and had a pretty hefty request. I needed over 30 boxed lunches. I recognize that's a lot to ask, especially last minute and right before (or even in the middle of) lunch rush, but the nice gentleman on the phone said it would be no problem. It would take around 45 minutes. Great! So we moved forward. An hour later, I call to check on the status and was told that the sandwiches were about to go in the oven and it would be about another 30 minutes. Fine. I could hold the hungry staff off for another 30 minutes. 35 minutes later, I call to talk to the manager who said the nice gentleman had just left with our order. Great. In the meantime, I gave a little piece of my mind (in a very gentle and professional way, I might add) to the manager and her response was less than satisfying. There was barely any sympathy, understanding, and ZERO ownership. She just continuously defended herself in that they should have never taken the order to begin with (agreed) and she's not sure why the person took the order and how they require notice for boxed lunches, yada yada yada. When I realized I was going to get nowhere with my complaint, I ended the call and at that point got a half-hearted, "I'm sorry." I wish business owners and management understood that sometimes it's not the damage that loses business, but the damage control (or lack there of) that loses business.

Love it. Unique custom made sandwiches and tasty soups and shakes. I am so glad one is in town now. Prices are reasonable, we need one SW. One minor issue, otherwise it would be 5+. The issue was the bathroom checklist for being checked had no check marks.

I thoroughly enjoyed this pit stop! Was advised to try it out by a colleague and I am far from disappointed. It's like subway and penn station had a baby. Very friendly atmosphere and the prices are very reasonable... the bread toast perfectly giving you a nice crisp on the outside and warm and pleasant on the inside. Who doesn't like melted cheese!?! However if you're a meat lover I'd advise adding extra meat to your sub. Surprisingly delicious! They have a kids menu as well and make it very simple to watch your calories or carb intake if you're into that sort of thing #stonerfriendly #kidfriendly #sandwichloverfriendly

I am from Pennsylvania...home of hoagies/subs. Potbelly is the best; this side of Philly. I got the Wreck, with the help of the two young ladies working, a couple of days ago. They suggested Potbelly's mayo and I added the vinegar and oil along with their amazing peppers. The bread was what really made the sandwich close to authentic. The meats were not your typical processed subway type product. The only thing about the place negative is it is hard to get into the center where they are located. But, you can get there and it is so well worth the effort. My mouth is watering just writing this review. If you like subs/hoagies you will love these. Enjoy!

Fair warning: Potbelly makes my favorite sandwich - the Wreck ('thin cut' - they used to call it 'skinny' and it is different from 'flatbread', which I've never tried). I discovered them when I lived in Ann Arbor MI and am always hoping they'll open a location near me. Having moved to Ft W at the end of 2016, I was thrilled to see this place under construction. It recently opened and I finally went. Pros: the sandwiches! The service! The oatmeal chocolate chip cookies! Make sure you get the hot pepper mixture on your sandwich, and if you're so inclined, get a jar to go. I like to chop it up and add to cream cheese or grilled cheese sandwiches or even things like pot roast. Cons: the location It's really hard to get into. You have to be traveling a certain way on Coliseum in order to get there. As far as I can tell there's only one way in. I made it happen though, because I love my Wreck! Don't make the mistake I did, which was assuming I could travel the parking lot from Wild Birds Unlimited. You can't. You need to go back to Coliseum and then re-enter. It's a newly opened location and I found the staff - all younger guys - to be friendly and chatty and personable. This is not normal for a fast-ish food place. I hope management can retain their quality of service. I really hope it doesn't turn into another place where teenager types masquerade as zombies with no personality. One of the guys told me they're opening 3 or 4 more locations in Ft W, including one on Dupont. I was excited to hear that!

The bacon on my sandwich was just way too fatty more so than normal. My wife and I agree we both thought that the food was just ok nothing to brag about.

I've been here for lunch twice now. Today (Saturday) there was live music playing, which was fun. I love their toasted sandwiches, and they really load up on the meat, so even though it's a little pricey, I do feel like it's worth it. I give 4 stars instead of 5 because there were only two people in front of us in line but it still took forever to get our food and pay, especially. I was standing in front of the register for a while before someone came to let me pay. So keep that in mind if you're in a rush! But if you've got plenty of time, definitely check it out.

The first Potbelly I ate at was in Chicago some years ago, so having one in town, this close to home is a real treat. They were having a special today, and I wanted to take advantage of it. In spite of being quite busy and having to deal with a number of challenges, the manager and staff there did a great job. The sandwiches tasted terrific, and service was provided kindly and with a smile. Recommended.

Delicious bread! Fantastic potato salad! Incredible soups and salads! But, the best part about this welcomed addition to the line of sandwich/sub shops that line Coliseum Blvd is the overwhelmingly incredible customer service! I've used delivery, pick-up from the mobile app, and eat in. Every encounter with the staff has been positive. I've already formed an attachment, so I hope they are around for a long, long time. There is a little hitch in the app that didn't allow me to choose a time for delivery and I managed to end up with an advanced delivery set for 11 AM the next morning. I called the store and they immediately corrected the order and They apologized and comp the cookie ordered. It didn't take long for the delivery to come. They were out of the particular chips ordered so they brought a bag of each of the flavors in stock. However, the smoothie ordered was not delivered. I wasn't going to complain and figured the extra chips covered the cost so I didn't call. But, just as I was finishing my dinner, the delivery guy returned with the smoothie and a handful of comp coupons. They had discovered the error themselves and took the trouble to do the right thing for a customer who wasn't even upset. Potbelly looks like a company that wants to do business. They have mine!

Unfortunately the woman waiting on me was just about as rude as can be. She literally swept the floor for 3 plus min without stopping to take my order, she then looked up and said "it'll be a minute". Several minutes go by and then she comes to the counter and just looks at me. Never a single word spoken until she gave me my total amount due. What a joke, if you hate your job that much, get a new one. Never again! Also, regardless of the response from potbelly, they have never reached out or made this right. The comment below was just all for show. I emailed the company abs now response.

This is a great place for lunch! It was busy but the staff was friendly and the food was amazing. Had A Wreck, Grill cheese and soup and 2 kids Mac and cheese. All of it was amazing. Would really like to come back again.

Sandwich did not have avocado as ordered. "The place was DIRTY...FILTHY bathroom, floor and windows. Only 1 person behind the counter most of the hour we were there. At one point 7 or 8 people came in to order and still only 1 at the counter! It appeared that the Potbelly District Manager was sitting in the corner at a table, working at his computer and never once did he go back to help or direct others to come out. After we ate, we decided we wanted milkshakes and ordered 3 which they said they would bring to us....15 minutes later, no shakes. I had to go to the counter and wait for them to make them!!! Will not return!

What a great sandwich shop! The staff was very attentive and friendly, the menu had lots of selection, and the restaurant was very clean and smelled terrific! I picked these up for clients and they were really impressed!

I had the Mediterranean sandwich and my husband had the wrecker; they were both just ok. From the good reviews I expected more, but it was comparable to Subway, but more pricey. Unfortunately, there was just nothing special about it that would bring us back.

I would give a zero if I could. I just tried to use the online website to order catering for 30 people. For some reason the website will not allow me to make changes to the dates and times. So I called the actual restaurant and the young man said, the app works, just download the app to order. We have no control over the website. I said, "so you want me to download an app, order catering for 30 people over the phone" His response "YEP". I said okay well I will just give my business to Panera Bread, and he responses with "Okay, thanks for calling". Well I guess they don't need my business

First time having lunch here. We chose to get the skinny option where it has less meat & cheese & the middle of the bread is taken out. I don't know how many times my husband leaned over & said "I can't believe how good this little sandwich is. We both loved our sandwiches & the atmosphere.

Potbelly is our new favorite lunch delivery! We are 8 miles West of Ft Wayne and have never had trouble getting a timely delivery. Today, we only had 2 hours notice and they were great!! Our employees love the sandwiches, great bread & warm! The individual potato, macaroni salads & cole slaw are a great addition. Love the bundles as well. Excellent food, excellent customer service!

Not only was the food amazing but Angeria and Antwon were awesome. I love seeing people genuinely enjoy their jobs and go the extra mile to cater to my picky order. I got the turkey club and my friend ordered the Italian, you could tell everything was fresh and it had a lot of flavor. I hope I see Angeria and Antwon again my next visit! :)

We got the gyro and the roast beef sandwiches. Both were more than we expected, in size and quality ! We will be back!
