Stopped at the Potbelly in Ogden today and waited over 15 minutes just to place an order, with only one couple ahead of me. During that time, five different people came in, waited, and left because of how long it was taking.
The drive-thru performance screen said it all — 0% of goals met, nearly 10-minute service times, and total lane times over 24 minutes, even though their goal is 2 minutes. Clearly, something is off with how this location is being run.
I actually felt bad for the two girls working, who were doing their best but had no management present to help or keep things running efficiently. Managers should be out front running around, doing damage control with customers, and helping with understaffing — not leaving employees to struggle alone.
The food here is usually good when you finally get it, but the management and staffing are seriously lacking. It shouldn’t take this long for basic service, especially during non-rush hours.
