Potbelly Sandwich Shop

I've always loved Potbelly when I have visited in other cities and was excited to see that there was one now open in Ogden. On Wednesday, we ordered a philly cheesesteak and a meatball sandwich for dinner and split both half and half. We agreed the the meatballs weren't great but the hot peppers kind of covered up the flavor. Unfortunately, we got terrible food poisoning (we hadn't eaten any of the same food within the preceding 24 hours, so we know it came from the sandwiches). As a result, I don't think I'll be eating here again.

Stopped at the Potbelly in Ogden today and waited over 15 minutes just to place an order, with only one couple ahead of me. During that time, five different people came in, waited, and left because of how long it was taking. The drive-thru performance screen said it all — 0% of goals met, nearly 10-minute service times, and total lane times over 24 minutes, even though their goal is 2 minutes. Clearly, something is off with how this location is being run. I actually felt bad for the two girls working, who were doing their best but had no management present to help or keep things running efficiently. Managers should be out front running around, doing damage control with customers, and helping with understaffing — not leaving employees to struggle alone. The food here is usually good when you finally get it, but the management and staffing are seriously lacking. It shouldn’t take this long for basic service, especially during non-rush hours.

It was a cute little sandwich shop with a little old time charm. The menu was clear and easy to read. The service was top notch, they directed me where to go and made the food fast. I have found a new favorite sandwich place. The Cubano was delicious! Perfect proportions of the meats and pickles, could have used more deli mustard but was overall very tasty. I will definitely be back to this location!

People complaining about price have no idea how the restaurant industry works .. and probably still pay $15 for a Big Mac meal lol Frequent flyer here and have never had a bad meal. Sandwich soup combo is well priced and filling !!! Chicken pot pie soup gets Me EVERY time and I go hard on the Italian and Cubano. Tamyah and Tania give great vibes !!!

First and last time for this place! We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon to have a quick sandwich, I got The southwest avocado chicken wrap, and we also got a Mediterranean sandwich. This was the worst wrap I’ve ever had. It was dry like a cracker unable to even eat the wrap! There were 13 people in line, 3 Uber or door dash pick iups waiting. Phones was ringing off the hook and with only two girls on shift hustling as fast as they could! This is an absolute joke & fail on the owner. I bet these poor girls hate their job and wished they could have had some help! It’s not their fault and I’m sure they were as frustrated as the customers. Do not offer banana pudding shakes if you don’t have the ingredients or time to make them! we paid $40 for our order and still waited an extra 20 minutes for our food. Do better next time for your employees and customers!!!!

Ordered the chicken salad sandwich and I have to say I feel pretty misled by the advertising. There was maybe a spoonful of chicken salad and hardly any actual food other than bread. The extra star is for the cookie however, which I thought was good! Probably won’t be back.

Finished eating at Potbelly here in Ogden. I picked the pick a pair and had the bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado sandwich, and it was great. The bacon was really tasty and had lots of Fixin’s! I also had the chicken pot pie soup, which had a really good flavor. They also have these refresher drinks that were really good! I had the strawberry dragon fruit flavor that hit the spot. Yummy!!!! The people fixing our food were also very nice!!!

I absolutely love Potbelly’s! The sandwiches are always fresh, perfectly toasted, and packed with flavor. The bread has that perfect crunch on the outside and softness inside, and the ingredients taste super high quality. The staff is always friendly and quick, even during busy hours, and the vibe inside feels cozy and welcoming. I especially love grabbing a cookie or shake with my sandwich — it’s the perfect combo. Definitely one of my go-to lunch spots!

This was our first time trying Potbelly. The employees were not very friendly. We were excited to try something new, but all of them seemed very snobby and in a rush, minus the cashier. The cashier was kind, but she did overcharge us. We didn't go back for a refund, but it was odd she charged us for combos and added the drinks and chips in separately on top of that. The food itself was really good, so I'm happy about that. The Mac and cheese my son had was delicious! Inside was mainly clean, but all the tables were taken, so we ended up eating at a park instead. Overall, good food, but customer service could be improved.

Ordered chicken pot pie soup at the Ogden, UT. Location, it was more like chicken flavored vegetable water. It did not have a ANY CHICKEN or potatoes in it at all. We asked for crackers or a piece of bread to go with it but they didn't serve bread and they were out of crackers! It was a large bit really like a medium size cup. For the money, definitely not worth it. Tables weren't wiped down and the girl at the register had an attitude. Won't be back. ​

Pretty impressed with this little sandwich shop. They're brand new and still working things out so the service was a bit slow but overall it was good. I think once they get into their groove and get a few weeks under their belt it'll run quicker. The sandwiches were delicious and we split an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie which was soft and tasty. I am looking forward to trying the soups, Mac and cheese and chili Mac when fall gets here but it's way too hot out to try those now. They also serve ice cream shakes and they looked so good when they made one but I can't do dairy with the heat so I'll have to wait to try them. The decor was pretty unique and made for a clean feeling. They had old pictures of potbelly stoves and a little section of tin ceiling over the kitchen. The staff were great and welcoming and they have a little set up for picking up online orders. There's also a drive thru. This is definitely a place I'll be frequenting in the future.

The restaurant and the people were nice, but it was honestly the worst sandwich I have ever had. There was 1 tiny piece of turkey, and so much lettuce and soooooo much mustard, that it just tasted like a lettuce and mustard sandwich. Soup was runny and salty. Prices too high.

Ordered a prime rib sandwich with mushrooms through the drive thru. Got home and they had given me a "wreck" with mushrooms. No mayo just bread meat and mushrooms. Make sure to check your order!

Great sandwich. Friendly staff. I wish there was one closer to my house. All the usual faves and some creative options. I'm hooked.
