Being Asian I’m usually quite critical of eating out at Asian restaurants and this place in my humble opinion, has incredibly high quality dishes. The prices are reasonable and I luv the fact that they allow BYO at only $5 corkage per person. It’s a cozy setting, excellent service too. I arrived at about 5:45pm but by about 6:30pm it was full. Highly recommend giving this place a try.

Obsessed with this place. Loved every dish I tried. Oysters were fresh and tasty. Prawn toast was divine. Beef tartare delicate. Wontons delicious. Fried rice and beef noodles all enjoyable. Custard buns one of the best. Highly highly recommend will def be a regular. Admittedly it is slightly high priced. The menu is small but a perfect selection of offerings.

Just discovered this local gem. Wonderfully tasty dishes with a creative flair. Prawn toast is on another level! Friendly staff, reasonably priced, great service…all round this place is a winner. Thanks for a great meal and we will be back many times.

A neighbourhood gem ... and lucky us, it’s local! Potluck blew us away. The food was absolutely incredible .. every dish packed with flavour, super refined, and a level above most Asian places around. You can really taste the love and skill in the cooking. A relatively small menu that they do well. We’re already planning our next visit. A few tweaks (not food-related) could take it to the next level ... but overall, this place is a winner. By the way, at this stage they are only open in the evenings and it's BYO with $5pp corkage.

My girlfriend and I were craving good asian food so we decided to try this little local legend. Luckily we came hungry because everything that we had was unbelievably good. The oysters, beef tataki, prawn toast, dumplings, the flat beef noodles and the custard buns were absolute stand outs. Forgot to take photos of the joint with my chopsticks doing so much work so here’s the finished plates of our custard buns (must have)

Potluck truly lived up to the hype. This is not your run of the mill Chinese restaurant but rather more upscale Asian fusion. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The food was exceptional. You can truly tell it's prepared with care and skill with fresh ingredients. The chef puts so much hard work and creativity into every dish. it’s clear this isn’t just a job but a passion. We tried the Taiwanese Fried Chicken, Prawn Toast, Barramundi and Flat Beef Noodles. They were beautifully presented and full of flavor. Overall, a wonderful experience, and we look forward to coming back. Highly recommend Potluck to anyone looking for a nice meal in Caulfield!

We went on a Tuesday evening for our anniversary, we live just round the corner. Staff were so attentive, kind and the food was so tasty!! Esther sent us some extras to try and it did not disappoint. The Ube cheesecake was amazing. Thank you so much we can’t wait to be back!!! Love beccy and Dee
