"Relaxed, chic and stylish! The eye-catching features of the Ritz-Carlton's restaurant are its striking decor and large open kitchen. The chefs put a modern spin on traditional German cuisine in dishes such asKönigsberger Klopse(meatballs in a white wine sauce) with capers and yellow beetroot. There are also options for sharing. Alternatively, take a punt on the surprise menu. The lunch deal is also popular. Friendly and adept service." - Michelin Inspector

Good food for Berlin standards. This is simple bistro chique, not great gastronomy. I like the idea to work around German classics. We had the soljanka to start. Good flavors, but way too salty and not as good as it could be (to thick and heavy). The one we had at the villa kellerman (Tim Raue signature unfortunately closed now) showed how good it can be. I had the konigsbacher klopse as a main course. Also there good intentions with pure veal meat and the capers blended in the sauce. Sides were nice. The overall dish however missed balance and was way, way too salty (both the meatballs and the sauce). The service was very friendly although at one point I was pouring our own glasses of wine which were both empty and unspotted. The restaurant itself has a nice interior and is comfortable as you would expect from its setting in the ritz Carlton, the music however was horrific ballerman music (I said carnaval but the friendly waiter jokingly corrected me). He kindly asked to change it but when we left it was again the same music you would expect with krapfen on the kirmes. Better use of seasoning and unobtrusive music would make this restaurant worth its price tag and its great setting and interior

An outstanding gourmet dining experience from start to finish. The service was truly exceptional attentive, friendly, and detail-oriented. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed. The staff took the time to explain each dish thoroughly, ensuring we understood the flavors and ingredients. They also paid great attention to small details, like keeping our cutlery clean and tidying the table between courses. The food was simply exquisite. The fish soup in lobster broth was so flavorful that we ordered it twice. The beef tartare was rich and delicious, while the burrata with beets and mushrooms offered a unique and delightful combination. The chicken fricassee with morel fungi was incredibly tasty, and the cod was perfectly cooked, tender and juicy. The cut of the day, veal in horseradish sauce with veal jus and German-style onion purée, was a true highlight: incredibly soft, juicy, and packed with flavor. Every element on the plate was carefully crafted. The potato foam was silky and flavorful, the sauerkraut had a strong, well-fermented taste that showcased its quality, and the broccolini was a perfect complement. Even the sourdough bread, fresh and crispy, stood out as a simple yet memorable detail. To finish, the chocolate mousse with bitter chocolate sorbet was the perfect ending, a beautifully balanced dessert that left us completely satisfied. While the portions are refined and quite small, the depth of flavors and overall experience make for a fulfilling meal. The combination of exceptional food, warm hospitality, and impeccable service makes this a place we would return to without hesitation. It also doesn’t hurt that the place is beautiful decorated. Highly recommended!

We ordered the 4 course gänsessen (holiday goose) menu, hoping for a special experience at a fine restaurant in a top tier hotel. What followed was the slowest meal service I have ever experienced. After an hour we had received only wine, bread, and amuse-bouche, none of which actually counted as one of the 4 courses. This did not appear to be the fault of our server, but the kitchen. The open kitchen allowed everyone to watch the chefs with plenty of time to stand around and quietly discuss with each other while our table and many others sat without food. It was nearly TWO HOURS into the meal when the second course (soup) arrived. I understand the idea of a leisurely meal, but this was not acceptable. When the main course finally appeared after two and a half hours (at least the pace had sped up), we immediately informed our server that we wanted the desserts to take away, fearful it would otherwise be another hour before the end of dinner. At that point a chef came out from the kitchen, not to ask about our experience or apologize for service, but to argue with us that we should not have our desserts put in take away boxes and should eat them there in the restaurant. We refused and re-iterated we wanted them in boxes so we could leave. It’s such a shame because the food itself was delicious and well prepared, let down by awful pacing. But I cannot recommend POTS unless the idea of an hour per course appeals to you.

POTS is one of those restaurants you just want to visit again and again. Their own interpretation of German dishes combined with good German wine, a pleasant and calm atmosphere and plenty of space and time, is the perfect combination for a quiet evening in Berlin. The restaurant is light and open, plenty of room for large and small groups. The food is incredibly good and there is plenty of it. We shared their lamb which was more than enough food for two. Would definitely recommend everyone to try POTS. The service was impeccable and we enjoyed every second. POTS fits well with the Ritz-Charlton, and is a perfect place to spend an entire evening.

The Champagne Brunch was amazing! High-quality products, a wide variety of dishes, and fantastic cocktails. For something truly special, this is undoubtedly the best buffet in Berlin.

This was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. It was an anniversary for me and my husband and the staff could not have been kinder or more attentive. We felt very special and well cared for. We did the four course chef’s choice menu with wine pairings and the food was outstanding. The wine pairings were also excellent, and the sommelier was more than happy to accommodate my preferences on a couple of pairings where the original selection wasn’t to my taste. Overall just a wonderful experience.

The service of the hotel and the restaurant is great and at the required level. The presentation and description of the dishes are well done and the waiters are making sure to share the right info for the experience. The food is typical German and is using German ingredients. I took the full course with 2 wine pairings white and red. Overall a bit pricey (like a michelin restaurant) but worth the experience

Yelp
We are staying at ritz Carlton so decided to have dinner for the first night in Berlin at their Pots restaurant. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. I ordered 4 course menu and my BF ordered meatballs. It took more than 1 hour for the first food to arrive at our table. They did offer us a complimentary glass of wine when we enquired about the delay but we're not big drinkers. This food was actually my 2nd course (cod). When I enquired about my first course (burrata) that was then offered to me 60 seconds later after I had started on my cod. This is totally different experience than my previous experience in other cities in Germany when I was impressed with German's punctuality but not this time. At least, Cod was delicious. My beef came out rare when I ordered medium well and I had to sent it back. Overall the food was fine, the ambience lively and the staff were nice. Without prompting one of the managers on clearing one of our courses did apologize and state that our entire meal would be comped however the delays and confusion were very unexpected at a Ritz Carlton and disappointing.

Yelp
Very odd experience - came here as we were staying in the hotel and had a very weird experience. Tables were left dirty around us, the kitchen started closing as we were sitting, dishes were not taken as we finished things and most weirdly, we were not offered dessert - not even to look at menu for it. Would not recommend - much better restaurants in Berlin. And not standard for the Ritz.

Yelp
The ambiance and customer service was lovely and great for a date night or trying to impress clients at a business meeting. Especially because it's located in the Ritz Carlton. However, while the food was plated nicely, the food wasn't much different from your decent local German restaurant. You're pretty much paying for the Instagram energy. For example, the dish of the day, the pork schnitzel was pretty normal. Their butternut soup was very rich and pretty good. The halibut was plated nicely but I found it very bland. Salad was salad and the steak was solid. Overall, I wouldn't come here for the food but the customer service and appearance was very nice. Bathrooms were great too.

Yelp
Looking to have a decent breakfast downstairs to start the day, everything was very cold, portions were small, and we never received our drinks with our meal or even were asked for another drink, the prices are not bad for the Ritz but expect average food and worse service

Yelp
We paid 50€ for a lunch menu for two people. The dishes were good, obviously small portions. But it didn't tasted outstanding or incredibly worth 3 Michelin stars.

Yelp
This is a super restaurant choice in the Ritz-Carlton. It has a Michelin recommendation or listing, i.e. not a star, but is very worthy of the attention. The concept is as the name suggests, it's all about small dishes and sauces. Everything was very well done, with loads of flavor, and timely, along with nice service.

Yelp
The service and food here were incredible. I thought the prices were going to be extravagant, given it's location, but they were affordable. It was refreshingly good food. You HAVE to get the Spiced Creme Brulee. OMG! SO VERY GOOD!! If nothing else, go and get two coffees/cappuccinos and split a creme brulee with someone. Heavenly.

Yelp
Staying at the hotel and stopped by the restaurant for breakfast. He an incredible experience. The staff was fantastic. The selection and quality on the buffet was excellent and was also able to order off of the meal.

Yelp
I was on a business trip in Berlin for a week. Most of my colleagues filled the hotel restaurant and were a tough crowd to please. The night time bar tenders were just fantastic. The dynamic duo of Georgia and Laura made our trip lots of fun. They not only were attentive and accurate but were lots of fun. Next time I'm in Berlin I will surely stay at the Ritz and be sure to spend time at the hotel bar. I don't believe I have ever felt that way before.
